Some nearby dining options available, and others within short walk or drive. Good value for the cost, clean and safe. Staff were very polite and the Jet tub room was amazing, nicely decorated as well.

Check in experience was great. Plenty of room to park our vehicle. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast included. Our stay was very short and this hotel met our needs for a comfortable stay.

Service and amenities have diminished since my last stay.

The hotel stay

We arrived at 8 pm, checked in, and headed out for food at a sponsored restaurant. We returned, cleaned up and went to bed. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, checked out and drove to our destination. The end result: our stay was pleasant ,giving us what we needed, a clean quiet rest stop.

Had a hard time with the hotel and hotels.com when we wanted to leave two days early due to work not being ready stayed three of five nights booked and had to pay for a night that we were not there At way to many dollars a night I thought that that was excessive. Will think twice before booking with hotels.com again for longer stays

Disappointed the hot tub wasn't working.

The bed was not as comfortable as usual. The hot tub wasn't working and this was the main reason I booked here after driving for 9 hours. The treadmill doesn't work properly either.

A lot of money for what you get

The staff when we arrived and when we left the next day were terrific. The breakfast was great. We are definitely staying there again.

Customer Service Excellence

The front desk staff, Dada, was considerate and professional. The breakfast staff, Danika, was conscientious and attentive. The staff, in general, are customer focussed. Well done.

We liked the location and the staff right from check in Dana was very friendly and helpful. Danny in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. She prepared a great breakfast which was fresh and hot. The restaurant was nice and clean.

A decent property but overpriced compared to your other hotels. The bed cover should have been cleaned beforehand. Breakfast was good and service was as well.

Bed mattresses are old, pillows lumpy and used (gross), can’t adjust temp. Needs an upgrade if they’re going to charge over $200 a night.

Stayed here overnight. Wonderful hotel. Staff was super friendly both at the front desk and everyone around the property. The hotel is a bit old but they keep it very ticy

It’s a place to sleep to carry on driving

If there aren’t many places in High Level that aren’t being taken by contract workers this hotel is better than nothing. The cost is insanely high. Add to that a pet no refundable deposit of 20$ per pet and you are paying the same price as a good hotel. The rooms are very thin. Do not accept a room with adjoining room except if you absolutely have to.

Price is high for the property but this is a remote community.

Stay was good but tv channel selection is terrible very few channels

Room heater/ac made brutal noise from the fan. Couldn’t sleep with it working. All you could hear from first moment you walked in the room. Even though so one had come in to turn tv on in attempt to hide it. Also the $250 deposit on top of the room is crazy. Stayed for 12 hours and that seems really over the top. Never had to pay that much before. Won’t stay there again. Just for that reason.

Was a horrible stay from check in to check out. Argumentative staff at the front desk at check in kept telling me to shut up. Parking lot not taken care of/ plowed I’m sure all winter. Loud construction work on a Saturday! Hallways not vacuumed. Dirty appearance throughout the hotel.

Bathroom ceiling was peeling, tiles/grout on floor cracking. Room was great otherwise. Hot tub not really hot and looked like it needed cleaning on bottom

Worst almost stay of my life

This hotel in High Level is a thief. They take a booking and then refuse to honor it leaving the traveler out in the cold. They lie about whether the payment was processed and then turn the traveler away without any reason. When the booking agents inquire as to the reason - they lie. They take your money, refuse to give you the room and refuse to refund your payment to you. Sounds a lot like theft to me and I think they should be charged.

It was close to a restaurant

Always clean and well appointed rooms wherever I go. Super 8 is consistent and convenient and the team always tries to meet my needs. Whether I am traveling with a pet or need a certain type of room.

Property is a good value for the money. Staff is very accommodating. Elevator is very slow, take the stairs

Beware when you book this property that it defaulted to smoking rooms. I had no idea this was still a thing as it’s not 1985 anymore. Expedia should change this.

Liked the king sized bed with 4 pillows, bed was very comfortable and clean. Nice having super large shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower and there was a large tub/shower. Room was large with a bench, desk with chair, arm chair with footstool, and small kitchette area. Convienent being next door to Boston pizza. There was breakfast included, but we went to Tim Hortons for breakfast instead.

Awesome place to staff

I never take the time to write a review. But this hotel deserves one. The rooms were spotless, hotel staff were so accommodating and the breakfast was over an above for a continental breakfast. Definitely would stay again.

The service was fast and courteous. The motel is very clean and well maintained. The hot tub in the room was great.

Even non-smoking rooms smell like cigarettes. We opened the door and immediately (and kindly) requested a new room - front desk staff wasn’t thrilled and moved us NEXT door. The new room smelled less like cigarettes, we opened the window and just dealt with it because we were tired. At check out the next morning we informed the new staff of the issue and instead of being empathetic we were matter-of-factly told “It’s a non-smoking room, everyone always says it smells like smoke and we don’t know why.” Cleanliness was fine but the overall smell of smoke kind of kills that for me…it’s 2022, smoke outside. Continental breakfast was skipped by us.

Very good hotel, I always stay there when im in town 2 to 3 times a year. Service was very commendable, breakfast was awesome.

Good place to stop for an evening ... clean rooms. Great pool area ... the hot tub was closed unfortunately but my daughter enjoyed the pool and waterslide.
