The motel had a fire and we were taken from our motel for a few hours!

Easy check in check out. They do have the awful square hard pillows. Bring your own.

1 night stay, King room. From our greeting at the front desk to staying in one of the cleanest rooms I've ever been in, easily 5☆!! Our room was spacious, the bed was firm, and the pillows were squishy. Loved that there was a recycling bin in-room. We'd stay here again and would recommend it to others.

A lovely surprise for the price! Best free breakfast I've ever had at a motel! Super gracious front desk employees day and nite shift and newly renovated rooms that were clean, comfortable, well-lit and nicely appointed!

Terrible breakfast

The breakfast was pathetic

This property was very clean and updated. We stayed here to visit Whitetail Resort. The front desk staff was great and got us checked in very quickly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only thing that was slightly lacking was the breakfast in the morning. It was fine, but everything needs to be made by Chef Mike Rowave. This is a place we would return to if needed.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast (frozen omelet and burgers microwave)

This was a great property to stay the night. It is by a huge truck stop so everything is geared for people travelling. We did go into Hagerstown and walked the Cultural Trail and visited the Art Museum. Was nice

Had to change rooms cause of a stain on the sheet. Pee on the underside of the toilet in the next room but that’s alright.

No elevator!

Fabulous staff. Love the sparkle and added touches in the room cleanliness like blue liquid cleaner in the toilet bowl to let me know it was just cleaned and the triangle fold tip on end of hanging toilet paper roll. So cute and professional everywhere I look. The refrigerator is midsize which I love because mini's are not big enough. The microwave in room is perfect to heat my drinks and food without leaving my room. However hot water with tea bags, hot chocolate, and coffee always on hand in front area where breakfast served. The manager takes pride in her property, service, and staff. Only the best each and every time I add another day or more to my trip because I forget how good it feels here. The trucking lodge/travel lodge next door is far enough away not to cause any noise and the guests are very mindful of the need to sleep here. Love this place as a wonderful time away from home each and every time I stay here!!! Five stars plus😀

Nice clean room. Breakfast looks good

It's a budget motel. It's well kept considering. The staff is helpful and friendly. It's supposedly going to get renovated in the near-term. Breakfast is much better than most budget places that offer breakfast items. We're repeat customers.

Everything I like in that hotel.

Easy access to I 81. Pleasant staff, neat & tidy room.

It's a very convenient location for anyone traveling on 81 (just a minute or two off the exit). Its right next to 2 gas stations and is just a few minutes up the road from a shopping center with plenty of restaurants and stores. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The continental breakfast is about average in comparison with other hotels. Only downside is that there is no elevator, so I would try to request 1st floor if you have alot of stuff (luggage, coolers, etc) or have difficulty with stairs. Overall its a nice place and I would stay again.

Lovely stay. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast area was bright and sunny and had a nice selection for breakfast. Thank you for offering pet friendly rooms. I heard they will be putting in new flooring and that will be great!!

Nice place for the cost

Nice place to stay at a reasonable price.

Clean, comfortable. Parking lot was well lit. Breakfast was reasonable. You had to heat it up, but it was fine. I would suggest one more microwave for guest use at breakfast. Staff was friendly. I would suggest that the Super 8 sign be repaired so that it lights up at night. It’s so dark at night that it’s dangerous trying to find turn in.

Pet friendly.

I was traveling with a dog that was very high energy and difficult to handle. The front desk clerk was beyond helpful and made check in super easy. The room was clean, very comfortable and affordable. Would definitely stay again!

Musty smelling rooms. Received email asking for pre- checkin to “save time and have room ready”. However, nope, “that info goes up head office, we need to re-do it here”. Reservation was for two rooms, each room Queen bed but said we’re sold out of Queen, so had to take double. Yikes! Breakfast was good! Friendly staff. However due to musty smelling room would not stay here again.

The hotel was in great condition and the staff was very friendly. Room was clean and well stocked with towels, etc. The fact that it is right next door to a truck stop should not be a deterrent to anyone looking to stay there. If we hadn’t seen the truck stop we would have never known it was there. Highly recommend this Super 8

We were in a pet friendly room on the first floor, travelling with a small dog. Upon opening the door of Room 121, we were hit with an overwhelming odour of cat urine. As a cat owner, I know it was cat versus dog😂 As this was the last available first floor room, we did not request a move but went out and purchased air fresheners/odour removers and notifed the front desk so there was no question that it was not us that left this smell. I understand that this is a pet friendly hotel so was prepared for a minimal amount of pet odour but was unaware that cats were also welcomed here (most hotels say dogs but no cats). Other than that, the room was fine and the front desk staff was very welcoming and pleasant.

Clean and comfortable stay. Accommodating staff with spacious parking.

A big cricket was in the bathroom. The ceiling in the bathroom looked like there might be mold starting. At breakfast there's only one small microwave for everyone and the juice machine seemed nonfunctional. And I have bites on my ankle which look like bed bug bites.

Absolutely liked everything about Super 8 by Wyndham (16805 Blake Rd). I have traveled a lot and can say this is one of the cleanest places I have stayed. Very well organized and it has security cameras everywhere. Towels and bedding are always fresh and clean. Included breakfast with fresh coffee, a nice option. They do not rent to locals but highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hagerstown. From Mrs. Julie Hines the amazing manager, reception, to cleaning services were fantastic. They went over and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. Great attitude, helpful, and always available. We can truly vouch that the service rendered was on par if not better than those rendered by 5-star hotels that we have experienced. Coming back to this place just for the service.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now this year and my only complaint this trip was my room was on the 2nd floor and there’s no elevator for guests. So to get to my room from the lobby meant that I had to walk half the length of the hotel, then go up a flight of stairs to get to my room. As always the Continental Breakfast was excellent, but upon arrival the 24/7 coffee was empty.

The location isconvenient. The room was so humid and damp. I took Lysol wipes and cleaned and then dried all the surfaces, some seem to have not been cleaned it quite a while The bed was comfortable thats the only redeemable quality

Like to stay at this hotel

The rooms were clean, a little musty smell on first floor, but after you were in and air was on not really noticeable. Breakfast was pretty good for a motel breakfast. Staff was excellent.

GOOD STAY , CLEAN

Clean, friendly, and perfect for work related accommodations.

I booked this hotel because of its strong reviews. When I got there, I was refused a room because I was a "local". The woman at the front desk was not courteous to me or another guest.

Much better than expected

Room 102 king-sized bed was quite spacious. The bed was firm (good!). The shower/tub insert seemed new & clean. God water pressure.

Our double room was very clean and beds were comfy. It is an older hotel that has been updated. Staff was very friendly! Would stay again. We got a great deal. It is near the mall. The hotel property is close to the interstate and set behind a very large truck stop. We did not have any issues with noise or lights ( we were on first floor).

Staff here was extremely friendly and helpful. Room/beds super comfy. LOVE the external bathroom sink option! Meeting friends at the city park; family trip from out of state. Hubby loved breakfast. Pretty magnolia prints in room (as opposed to ugly modern art). Would return.

Was unhappy when we checked in to learn that rooms could not be given if you lived within an 85 mile radius. We booked online, it was confirmed, we did pre check in, and came within a few miles of not being able to stay. And the information, includind a piture id that we had provided online, was not avaiable to the front desk when we checked in. Also, the room smelled. On the good side, the desk attendant was wonderful; very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is next to a truck stop, but down the street from a small mall with a lot of dining options. The hotel does not rent to local people, so it was for travelers. Very friendly staff. Although it looks like a truck stop, it didn’t feel like it at all. Pleasant surprise!

Overnight stop on a road trip. This was close to I 81, very personable staff, clean comfortable room. Good selection for breakfast. Overall a great value.

This hotel has been immaculate every time I stay there (seven times so far). The staff are kind and accommodating to my needs as a senior citizen. I sleep like a log-the rooms are nicely soundproofed. Will definitely stay here again!

NEEDS UPDATING

Hotel was basically clean but old. Bed was very uncomfortable, pillows flat. Room still has carpet not flooring like most hotels now. Staff very nice Breakfast was minimum. Juice machine not working for 2 of the juices

Broken amenities. Bad call back policy.

Fridge didn’t work when I turned it on. Fell asleep and lost all the food I brought it home the Appalachian trail. Told desk and management didn’t get back to me to even apologize. I lost $50 in food and an hour of my time from the reason for my trip.

This is our fourth stay at this property. It is a convenient place to stop on fairly frequent trips from Tennessee to Connecticut. Clean, simple good value for the money. a mall 2 miles down the road and many dining options. The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly.
