The room was clean. It was quiet. Breakfast was disappointing

The very nice man who checked us in gave us a room with two beds at no extra charge when he saw that I was traveling with my nephew. The breakfast was an unexpected extra value with sausage and eggs and other goodies that were way more than you'd find in a motel or basic hotel. The rates were at least half as much as other inns/b&bs in St. Michael. Nothing fancy but a safe, good, reasonable option for a night or two.

A safe and convenient place to stay in St Michael's

This was the first time here and this is a good location and a good value.

Good location. Clean rooms. I was there off season so morning breakfast was limited. But for the price, you can’t beat it.

Perfect little getaway for great price

Great location, staff was so nice, friendly and accommodating! The room was clean, bathroom could use some updating and bed was really firm so be prepared. Pillow top would definitely be beneficial. Great morning coffee, and continental breakfast was ok. Loved that they provide bottle waters. I would stay here again

nice location

Very friendly staff and good price. Bed was pretty hard and the pillows are small but those are 1st world problems.

Staff was so friendly and kind and we appreciated how quiet it was. Our room and the entire property was clean and well maintained. Only downside was the mattress was very hard.

This reasonably priced motel is located a bit out of town before you get to St. Michael’s.

Maryland 2024

First visit to Saint Michael’s. The hotel was nice, clean and convenient to everything. I would say the property was a bargain.

I have stayed here multiple times, but this was the first time the room was not cleaned. The bathroom was obviously not cleaned (soap bar rings and hair in bath, urine on toilet seat and front, etc.). There was a loose tile and toilet was steadied by a wad of cardboard (room 108).

Have stayed here before. An older motel showing its age in places, but good staff and reasonably priced for location.

Good - easy check-in Hot breakfast

There was no phone in the room, which I think is kind of odd. The room was clean, but very simple. Would not be a first choice. Also, was overpriced for what we got.

Convenient but not walking distance to St Michael. That's the only real advantage of this place. The water smelled AWFUL like rotten eggs! We didnt shower while we stayed here bc the water was rancid. Bathroom fan sounded as if it was going to fall out of the ceiling. Bathroom outlet didnt work. Beds are creaky with paper thin pillows. There is breakfast, poor signage leaves you on a scavenger hunt for it. Minimal options of poor quality. I would not recommend staying here for more than 1 night.

The hotel lobby is quant and clean - the rooms I would call average. Our comforters (we had 2 rooms) had some sort of stain or wear on them (one in each room 2 doubles in each). My main complaint was the loud rowdy neighbors we shared on the other side of us - very loud until around 1:45 am (when I could finally fall asleep). My comment to the hotel is to increase the sound resistance between rooms - I could literally hear a neighbor yacking the next morning :( . Otherwise, decent place to sleep for a night.

This property is not fancy but it is a very good value. Rooms could use a little face lift but everything is clean, functional and useable. Mattress was excellent; TV only 24 inches but OK. Breakfast was fine.

The staff and hosts were incredibly cheerful,, and helpful. Maintenance was a bit of a problem with towel bars falling off walls and broken up bathroom door. There was heavy stomping across the ceiling that went on for a long time early in the morning that kept me awake. May have been a guest or maybe the exercise studio was lined up above my room. All and all, the staff were wonderful and appeasing and the bed was comfortable. This Inn is a "bang for your buck" for being very close to downtown St. Michaels where this tourist town's accommodations are quite expensive.

The cheapest in St Michaels... but for a reason.

Pros: good location, cheap for the area (it's Nov., which I know has much to do with it), and the complimentary breakfast was decent. Parking is plentiful and easy. Neutral: The room was ok and had a fridge and microwave Cons: Bathroom was legit scary. Dirty, dingy, and wouldn't let my kid take a bath in the bathtub. Wish I took more photos, but I didn't want to spend much time in there. Beds were lumpy and had stained bedding. Building smells musty. Overall, it was fine for a quick weekend stay. Would I stay here again? Only if there were no other options available.

Hotel is not “fancy” but about 1/3 the price of other places in St. Michaels. Great location on main road before reaching downtown. Room was comfortable and quiet.

This is a beautifully maintained property, conveniently located to the main area of St. Michaels. It is only five minutes from the Maritime Museum, and even closer to shopping and dining opportunities. The breakfast is great, and the staff are welcoming and friendly.

I liked there was a grocery store and a Subway next door. I didn't like there were no sidewalks anywhere.

Nice motel

I stayed off season weekday. Classic motel at an excellent price for St Michaels. Not fancy but clean, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Kudos to Robin who went out of her way to rectify my mistake in booking on a 3rd party site. Her diligence saved me from being charged twice. Much appreciated.

Day one smelled like sewer and day two sulfer in our room..

A convenient location, safe, comfortable and quiet, with a friendly helpful staff.

We recently stayed at St. Michael’s Inn for 2 nights. The outside premises are neat. The main lobby was welcoming and a little more modern. The room I stayed in was disappointing, considering the price per night. It had an unpleasant odor. It did not smell clean, which was a bit of a turn off. The comforter on the bed had a few stains, pillows seemed old and uncomfortable. The shower pressure was fair and the toilet was really low. The continental breakfast was good overall. I wish I could give it a higher rating.

Great place to stay

The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Unfortunately, the toilets in BOTH of our rooms (in separate parts of the motel) were not functional. The place is in need of serious updating.

This is a charming Inn perfect for anyone visiting St. Michael’s. The location is close to attractions, shopping and restaurants. The hosts are lovely and very welcoming. The pool was clean and the breakfast was delicious!

We stayed the week before Labor Day. Nice facility fairly empty. Great staff. Good enough free breakfast.with coffee and homemade cookies in the afternoon. Minutes from center of town. We biked.to Bellevue and took the ferry to Oxford. Fun day.

Farther from”town” than expected. Had to ask for trash cans to be emptied after 2 days. Water smelled awful when showering.

Everything went as expected. I loved being able to park right in front of our door. The place was not perfect but it was clean and nice; the staff was friendly and helpful.

47th Anniversary!

We were here for a one night stay. Nice reception, clean room. Comfortable bed. We would definitely stay here again. Very quiet!

Hotel didn’t have a working ice machine.

Fine was one night. Lobby was renovated. Room was bit outdated.

We were pretty shocked at the quality of the room and amenities given the price. When we arrived the toilet was clogged. We were told there were no other rooms and were handed a plunger. This is hardly 5-star seevice.

Very disappointed. Pictures made it look like a nice place. There were holes in the carpet shower was terrible and overall dirty. Way overpriced.

Needed a place to stay for some sudden family business in the area. The Inn was fine, didn't need a bunch of frills for this visit. Definitely conveniently located...great value.

checking in was good, bathroom floor was dirty in the corner's, there was an oder in the whole place, and the toilet did not flush properly.

Stay was excellent!! The staff were really friendly! They made fresh baked cookies every day for the guests!

Great service, friendly staff

We like staying here, but many features need to be updated or replaced.

We booked here because we needed an inexpensive place to shower and change. The bathroom was very clean and the room was vacuumed. There was some stickiness on the table, but easily taken care of with a wet wash cloth. We did mot, however , spend the night as it wasn't planned.

The water smelled like wet fart. Was terrible. St. Micheles was adorable.

A convenient location for the downtown St. Michael's area. Staff was great. Highly recommend it for ease of getting downtown.

Room reeked of smoke. Water had a smell and the sheets were stained.

2 people tried to get in our room at night. Both made a mistake on their room numbers but it was a little scary.

Just an ok overnight stay

Room was ok. Musty smell. Back of toilet looked disgusting, not sure if it was rust or just dirty. Water smelled of erotten eggs (sulfur). Bed was comfy. Air conditioner did not cool very well. Was unable to get a receipt at checkout because i booked from a 3rd party. Pool was nice but close to road, slightly uncomfortable.

I would have given the property 4 stars but the odor from the water was really bad. My husband and I had to use a bottle water to brush our teeth because showering was a challenge when it smelled like rotten eggs. Outside of that, the inn was very clean and the staff was great. The front desk also mentioned to call next time when booking because Expedia charged us a high rate, so that was a little discouraging to hear.

Good price for the location

The room was for handicap, not for us, even had a handicap parking space. We found nothing wrong with the Inn. It’s with EXPEDIA my first time with them. And they are responsive for us getting the handicap room.

Nice place, but the room was VERY humid, so 1° change in room temp made the difference of feeling too hot to too cold.

The check in was easy. The front desk receptionist was pleasant. The grounds were clean. Our room appeared to be freshly painted and most of the furniture seemed new. The bathroom floor needed cleaning. The toilet was very low and challenging to get up from. They should consider a comfort height toilet since many travelers are of a mature age. The breakfast bar offered a lot of options and the staff were pleasant. It was also very quiet and peaceful. We stayed one night for just a quick getaway. I would recommend staying here.

The room was quiet and mostly clean. The water smelled rotten and there were a few mosquitos and one fly in the room. The breakfast was really good.

Major Upgrade Needed

There were multiple smells in the Inn including in the rooms. We started out in one room, had to change to another because the toilet leaked. They did upgrade our room which was nice. The mattress and pillows were horrible, I didn't sleep much over the weekend. The Inn really needs a major upgrade.

Clean, excellent service, good breakfast, friendly people, and very reasonably priced. Would stay here again.

All the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was tasty and had good variety of food available. Room was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed being away from the crush of downtown.

The beds and pillows could use an upgrade. Beds weretoo hard and pillows were too.
