Excellent 👌
Great location and amenities. Pool could be warmer but with so much other stuff to do who cares.
Quite getaway
An amazing trip. Looking to be back soon
The place is nice and there are awesome rooms but the place seems to be deteriorating. I’ve been coming to this place for years and every time I come I find there is less attractions and dirtier rides.
Muy lindo lugar
MICHALOS TO THE RESCUE!
We got there a little early and did the paperwork but the room was not ready...we came back at 4:00 and the room was not registering as ready...BUT MICHALOS ONE OF THE MANAGERS INTERCEDED ON OUR BEHALF...TOOK CHARGE...CHECKED ON THE ROOM PERSONALLY AND GOT IT HANDLED...HE WAS MARVELOUS
Had a good time
This would be awesome if it was updated. We went to the water park and the kids water jungle gym and 2 slides were down. Also, they did not have enough staff. The same worker was taking care of bowling and the arcade counter. She was awesome though and did her best. The room was nice. Very spacious for our family.
el check in era a laa 4 y la habitasion a 8 no estaba luego una habitasiones bulla un party en una habitasion y a las 8am la alarma se sisparo y las 11 sali del la habitasion
Jacuzzi did not work correctly. I asked for towels they never gave me any additional towels, but the staff was pretty good considering I would come back if they fix the roads the roads were really bad big holes.
I had a wonderful time at the waterpark. I had an extremely comfortable bed. The accommodations were great & the staff was wonderful.
Excellent staff, beautiful area, great restaurants in the area, short commute from NYC.
Directions to room were terrible, pool in lodge was un-usable, switched rooms to main bldg and was not much better. No room temp control, was 89° the whole time even with the guage on 68°. The faility was not very clean although the rooms were as clean as they could get i guess. Waterpark rides werent working and the food was pretty darn awful. Perhaps they should use fresh products and change their oil for frying. Overall i will never return. Ill try camelback next time.
The amenities were fun, loved the pool and spa in particular. Their food services could certainly be better. Tried their buffet and the food was cold and very bland. And the place that serves pizza in their resort area tastes like 7/11 pizza. $9 for an 8” pizza just seemed a bit of a rip off lol. Overall we loved the stay. Wish dominoes or other reasonable prices restaurants were nearby. We will bring our own food next time and just make use of the fridge and microwave.
We love our room and the room service of how helpful they were
The property need to be remodeled
We were under the impression that this was an indoor waterpark based on the pictures but were disappointed when we got there! All the facilities were closed!
No heating and terrible service
The day time manager at the Lodge, Jessica did everything she could to make our visit as enjoyable as it was. She has an amazing warm and welcoming personality and great smile. The lodge has a very old rustic feeling, our rooms were modern and very clean and comfortable. I did have a few issues and after speaking with a representative from the lodge, who listened and genuinely cared about the issues I experienced rectified to my satisfaction. I would like to mention Miklos! I feel very lucky to have had contact with these 2 employees !! They did everything possible , which I appreciate. Looking forward to seeing them on my next visit
Stay was horrible. It’s the second (and definitely last) bad experience I have at this hotel. Stayed at the lodge, my family couldn’t sleep because of noisy neighbors and the way rooms are constructed. All rooms share a door with the room next door and the only way to sleep quietly is if the room next door is empty. This time the TV was on until past 5AM so we could not sleep at all. Called the reception twice (11:30 and 3:30/4AM) but they were not able to help. Not sure if someone came to check at all or not.
We only stayed here to sleep, we didn't use any amenities or eat at on-site restaurants. The building our room was in was very poorly maintained and out dated. In a 2 night 1½ day stay there was no hot water half the time in the entire building. On the plus side the few staff I spoke with were very polite. The motel of resorts is centrally located between 2 ski resorts and nice restaurants to dine at on Lake Harmony.
Overall, very relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was terrible, but other than that, another successful trip
Staff was friendly plenty to do there rooms a little outdated but clean and comfortable
For the Lodge Rooms you need to check-in at the main building Front Desk located at the Town Center. Its not a big deal but you just need to know to go straight to the Town Center and get your key and come back to the Lodge. The Lodge room we stayed in was nice and newly renovated and it had a great view of the Lake. They just need to renovate the common areas in the Lodge and the hallways were cold going to the pool. It has a large pool and hot tub in the Lodge. The sauna was out of order while we were there.
Booked Willowbrook Jacuzzi Tub Suite, the suite was very clean. The only problem I had was that there was no hot water at night. When trying to call the front desk couldn’t get an answer for hours, so was stuck with a JACUZZI Tub with no hot water to use, which was the whole point of the booking the suite….
We stayed at the Lodge. The pool and hot tub area had no ventilation, was extremely humid, smelled terrible, and had what appeared to be mold on the walls and ceiling. There was never anyone at the Lodge desk even though they had a sign with the hours that someone was supposed to be there and it is very difficult to get someone on the phone at the town center. WiFi didn’t work for most of our stay. Continental breakfast in the Lodge wasn’t available until the late morning, 3/4 of the amenities/restaurants advertised on the website were not open. When we asked someone at the front desk about this, they stated that they are “seasonal.” It would be nice if the website properly advertised what was available in the Winter when booking. Would not recommend.
The room is spacious but the jet tube has no hot water.
Quite. The pool heating was not working and the waterpark as well. TV was missing from the room.
I actually felt bad for the front desk lady. She remained calm, there was a lot of issues, Kim was awesome trying to get us into our rooms, but I waited almost 2 hrs to check in bc rooms were not ready and missed 45 minutes of our booked snow tubing time because we needed to get all the kids changed into snow gear. The showers in the rooms did not work, there were no towels at the pool or in the rooms, the one room's kitchen sink did not drain and there were no trash cans. When I asked to check out at noon so the kids could enjoy the pool before we left the daytime front desk lady seemed very annoyed and stressed how we had to be out by noon. But nothing was said in response to any of the issues with the room and the showers not working or the kitchen sink. I love the location and amenities when they are all in working order. It is apparent they are very understaffed, and the few that are there run ragged to accommodate all the people.
the put reservations is 4pm i 8pm room is not ready bad service
Dining/Pool/waterpark - heating down for months
Worst Valentines / Presidents’ Day school break EVER! Purpose for trip was hotel pool and waterpark. never informed that water heaters broken for months. After discovering went to front desk and was told “but it’s open, right!”. Everything was frozen. only area ANY guest to go in was a small hot tub. Decided to attend dinner within hotel. We happen to be the 3rd guest seated. Over 1hr others arrived after us (now a packed restaurant) we hadn’t received our food. They forgot us and gave our food to someone else. We ordered pizza to bring back to room. After sharing all what we experienced we received 2 game card with $10. I’ve stayed here a few years ago during the same school break and we really enjoyed. I couldn’t believe how everything was addressed. Only positive thing the bartenders during afternoon and evening shift on Friday, truly friendly. Along with arcade manager.
Need better staff and better maintenance
I love it
The stay was good but could have been better. I booked a room with King size bed since it was Valentine weekend and was given 2 queen size bed instead . Everything that were listed on the website was not in the room. For example ( Jacuzzi, hair dryer, plier and microwave). The heating system was not working properly. I was a litte disappointed. The only time I was able to reach anybody was when I went up the hill to the front desk. The phone in the room doesn’t work. What if there is an emergency? How do you get in touch? When I checked out, the young lady at the front desk had no customer service or personality, she was just rude and dismissive. She was the same person I came to regarding the heat. I would recommend to ask to see the room before staying there.
Nice room, would stay in the outer building units again. Restaurant in the main lodge was marginal; slow service, extremely sub-par cut of meat was served, full of fat and grizzle, but what was edible was tasty. But overpriced
The studio room had very old appliances, and the kitchen was very dirty. The stove and coffee machines were unusable due to grime, and the sink was moldy with a foul odor. When I tried to take a shower, there was no hot water. I attempted to call the two phone numbers provided, but both were “not found.” I eventually reached someone using the phone number listed on the website, only to be told that I had to wait 45 minutes because the hot water had run out. After waiting over an hour, there was still no hot water. When I called again, they said they would check with the maintenance team, but nothing changed. I would not recommend this place.
Very noisy, there was a baby's pacifier and onsie under our mattress , bathroom had an awful smell to it
Not again!!
Cold water at the water park Only 1 slide working Half of the water park is not working
Great visit at Split Rock
Requested different accommodations this visit and our room was just perfect. The front desk personnel were extremely helpful and courteous. We had two great nights at Split Rock. WE did not use the restaurant facilities since we like to go to two of our favorite restaurants which are: Terra-Cottage and for a casual dinner Shenanigans. Also, there is a great market at the Hub on the hotel grounds.
Awesome!
Water was the cold
The water wasn’t warm enough
Tha resort was old not alot activities for the kids
I am sorry to report that Split Rock was not the best experience we had. I would love to say that we had a pleasant time, but I would be lying. The waterpark is rundown, the water attractions were closed and water was extremely cold. The staff did not give us clear directions to get to our room. We spent over 30 mins trying to find the right place. It was really an unpleasant experience overall. Also why promote a waterpark that is clearly not in humane conditions? We will never know. Anyways, know we know where not to go in the future.
The waterpark, which was our reason for going, was closed for repair. The pool facilities were nice though. Hot tub needed cleaning.
Good for price but properly needs tending to
Last minute overnight booking. Pool had no towels and even after asking for towels, we never received them. Very long walk from check in to room. Window in room was cracked and allowed for cold air to get in. Door did not lock properly. Overall wasn't a terrible experience but definitely could use some work. They are clearly understaffed and in need of upgrades.
The bathtub was dirty. I had to clean it myself. The water took forever to get hot to be able to use the jacuzzi. I stepped on a nail in the bathroom. When i went to checkout the lady was rude and never looked up from the computer or acknowledged us face to face. The buffet food was cold at the restaurant. The property was definitely in need of an update and a cleaning.
Staff was wonderful in accommodations and very kind. Went beyond to make sure everyone was happy. The establishment was disorganized and in need of some updating and paint. The Waterpark was 70° and when the staff of the Waterpark was asked about it they just shrugged. Can't wait to see how all the work going into the place turns out. Definitely needs more restaurant options.
Cold in waterpark
Waterpark was mainly closed down .. except for two areas and the water was cold. Pool was cold and kids were not allowed in hot tub, which was just warm water.. half the bowling lanes were shut down and the ones that were open kept shutting down. Holiday but the buffet was shut down, and the arcade and bowling alley did not open until later. So there was nothing for the kids to do.
Unclear directions on where my room was located. It took me over 30 minutes to find the building where my room located. It was snowing bad and was unsafe to drive that far to my room, as I pumped into side roads multiple times in the parking lot because so much snow that was not shovels. I was very upset of the inconvenience of the room as it was one mile away from the amenities like pool, restaurant, bar and etc. I also had kids with me.
The Lodge is beautiful and rooms are brand new. Beautiful view of the lake.
All the water slides except 1 was broken. The water was dirty. The kids pool water was freezing. The phones were broken
So bad
They had major problems with the phone lines. Door to my room would not lock or close. Outdated refrigerator and stove. Gave only a little bit of rags and towels and above all... OVERC HARGED MY ACCT and said they aere working on getting the issue resolved. Still no response from the CEO!! I will never stay at this resort EVER!!!
Great time.
El servicio de limpieza rara la ves q lo veía o estaba nunca tocaron la puerta para limpieza ni dejar toallas ni papel sanitario
We arrived at the property and given a room that had no heat. The adjoining bedroom did so we cranked that up and my daughter slept there. It never warmed up. Went the next morning and they gave us a new room. Low and behold no heat there either and when we tried the shower there was no water. The only thing they did right was allow us to leave and refund for the unused nights.
You must have a car because everything is far in distance other then that beautiful place
the place is in bad shape. Staff has no knowledge of the resort, bartender is a con-artist on Thursday night, our room had black mold and pink slime in the bathroom, bathroom floor was not cleaned, sinks don't drain, coffee maker never cleaned / unusable....I could go on and on.
We stayed there for three days with my friend. The heater was so loud that we couldn’t even hear each other. Also, we thought breakfast was included, but it wasn’t. It’s not expensive—$15 per person—but finding our room was so confusing. Overall, it was okay.
Hotel is run down. Carpets are filthy. It’s either freezing cold or blaring hot. When you try to reach out to the hotel manager, there is never a reply. For the price, the hotel is a complete joke . Our room was almost 80 degrees and we were told there was nothing they could do.
There was no heat to the entire 2nd floor during our three night stay. The water was going out of the sink a different color in some rooms. My daughter caught a mouse in her trash can. Split Rock offered no reimbursement of any kind. I use to enjoy this hotel years ago. My family went for Thanksgiving. My children now call our family trip the Thanksgiving from He*l.
The ease of checking in with customer service front desk agent (Jessica) great hospitality, smile and professionalism. I didnt like the location ( The Lodge) it felt abandoned and isolated from others. The room at the Lodge very cold and uncomfortable.
Not the greatest place. Had a hard time to figure it the shower tried to call the reception and to my surprise the phone in our room was not working just a empty phone..had to use my phone to call .waited for hours no one came till one stuff member was in the hall way but didn't understand me and called someone else who new ...was not happy at all.
Property is veryyyyyyy outdated from the furniture to the decor and appliances we booked a room with fire place and hot tub. The hot tub jets did not work and neither did the fireplace. The sink leaks bc it’s old and we had to drive back and forth to the lobby bc the room key stopped working as well as being given the wrong room number upon check in. All of this with 2 small kids and it’s 20 degrees out. We booked a quick overnight getaway and split rock failed miserably.
I didn't like nothing about that hotel it was disgusting
The hotel has a very beautiful view of the lake and the area is quiet, and there are many fun activities to do with the family
Great
We reported the HVAC as not working on Friday and Saturday. No staff came to make a repair, it was cold!!!
Jacuzzi was dirty, neighbors were extremely loud
Unfortunately the shuttle bus was broken down and the lodge pool was out of order? 2 people entered my room (guessing they were staff) 2 times.
Not the greatest stay
The water only worked 1 out of the 3 days we were in the hotel. We had to use different bathrooms in the middle of the night because of no water. I was unable to shower during the entire stay. They told me on Saturday the issue would be resolved soon. It was resolved for a couple hours then we were left with no water again. When I called to find out what was happening the first time, they said it would be fixed soon and that was it. When the water went out again, they did not take any measures to accommodate guests. The hotel was empty so this was reasonable. I also had to request a refund for the wtr park that I still have yet to get due to the water being freezing cold. This was not an issue with the hotel pool that was already included in the trip. So we asked for a refund & went to the pool. The hotel offered a 15% discount which I also did not get yet.
Our toilet wouldn’t flush. The water was brown with sediment. The water trickled out the faucet. The manager said he would compensate us for our inconvenience but charged our cards anyway. He also was loud and disrespectful in front of other customers. He wouldn’t give us a corporate number. Just a horrible stay all together.
There were very little room amenities IE: no coffee maker, no extra towels, no cups for water, we had to look for the one and only trash can. We were not able to call the front desk for services or to report a problem. The room could really use an update. We had no directions for the "auto shade". One of our USB ports near the bed did not work. There was a large group, that began very early in the morning, loud chatter in the hall every morning. Limited TV. It was average at best. Sad to see, this at one time was a premier resort!
NA
Anyone coming here should realize there is a whole water park and a game park right there on the property!
I love going to Split Rock me and the kids have a lot of fun. We have been there four times within the past year. The only thing I don’t like for one this last time I went my key stopped working a half an hour well at least as far as I know a half an hour earlier than it should have stopped at 11 o’clock and the other thing I don’t get is why do they check in at four and then you have to leave at 11 so if you’re coming for the whole weekend, you’re not even getting a whole weekend really that’s only one day you should be able to get discounted price or be able to stay much later than 11 o’clock also, the fact that the price went up on the waterpark passes the last time we went it was $20. This time is 35. You have almost doubled the price per person and that’s a lot so I didn’t really enjoy myself this time. We did have fun in the pool and Jacuzzi but we didn’t get to go to the waterpark as planned and like I said I was locked out of my room half an hour earlier than I should have been so I am kind of disappointed in that situation
Everything was good
Very dated compared to what was shown through site . Smell in hallway . Could hear noise up above until really late .
Nice and quiet. Could not here the neighbors.
We would stay there again.
The employees were very friendly. The accommodations were clean, both the main Town Center and our room. The scenery was beautiful this time of year with the leaves changing. The location is convenient to a lot of the Poconos attractions. The only two things that were inconvenient were having to drive to the Town Center to use the pool and the lack of trolleys (carts) to get our luggage up to our room on the third floor. Other than those two items, we would definitely stay there again .
Room issues. Had to move 3 times for a two night stay. Water park needed maintenance. Food okay. They did provide a family atmosphere
Boring.
I like the amount of fun options for the family, or group of friends. There is bowling, an arcade, a swimming pool, an indoor water park, and water activities in lake Harmony. Hicking and bike riding. The room is huge, although some upgrades are needed; water sink, and toilet didn’t have water pressure. chipped paint, old window shades.
There was no running water when we first arrived. The staff didn’t know the menu in the Mexican restaurant and two slides didn’t work in the water park
Our suite was large and nice, but the sofa was like a rock so sitting in the living area was uncomfortable. It was disappointing because the fireplace was lovely. The whole property seems a little dated but the surroundings were very nice.
Aged water park resort most likely for families with kids. The Wi-Fi internet was nearly non-functional. I could not take a zoom call from my room. I would not stay here again
Very nice place for a family vacation
I loved the room and facilities were perfect, the lobby and check in were great. The breakfast was delicious, the check in was very fast and the staff was very nice, everything was excellent, of course I would come back again.
I waited 40 minutes to be checked in. Hands down the longest check-in experience I've ever had in a hotel. Too bad, If I had more time I would have spent more money on my dinner.
Check in was a breeze, room was ready and clean, staff was very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay here, staff is friendly, food is good an at a reasonable price. We took some bikes and went around the property and the split rock monument at the forest, it was nice and lots of fresh air
the check in was quick and the staff was very friendly, we tried the food place at the lake and it was good, we are yet to go to the indoor waterpark but the pools and other activities were fun!
It was good! The pools were very nice for us and the staff was kind
It’s a nice conveniently located hotel. Rooms are clean and nice. There is nice bar and karaoke nights. Restaurant/ cafe food is decent Things that were surprising- no coffee makers in the rooms and no complimentary coffee in AM. Unrelated to the hotel- the indoor waterpark is very small - good for very small children.

I love split rock but it was a bit disappointing.
