Perfect for families - 3 rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and an all in one washer/dryer (although the dryer is not effective but a large drying rack is available) The area itself is walkable to the water/theme park and mall with a lot of restaurants. Great location and would stay here again!

We enjoyed our family vacation very much. Our Villa accommodated the family of 5 very well with three rooms two baths that gave us the privacy among family members. It was easy access to local beaches and many museums. My daughter felt very safe running around the compounds and have beautiful landscapes. We would definitely recommend to my friends and family, and we would love to come back to same Villa.

Checking in at assigned time of 3:00 was not accurate at all. Found the lobby to be very crowded, when I got in the very long check in line, one of the staff member ask for my information, than entered into their info terminal, he stated I could choose to wait in line which was over a half hour to 40 minute wait, or return in an hour when the lines won’t be as bad. I chose to return in an hour, but my family wanted to wait indoors, so we returned to the lobby, we were allowed to check in at 4:00pm. I have never in all my travels around the world, have to wait over an hour to check in to my Hotel. The Hotel staff was pleasant, in most cases. Our room was very nice and clean, but we had a Substantial leak from the main rooms AC overflow. The Hotel wanted to relocate us, we decided to stay since we had already unpacked our clothes and stocked the kitchen. The leak was contained by the Hotel staff with buckets and towels. It was an acceptable compromise since the area involved was behind the living room furniture. The property had a lot of restaurants, with good accessibility, a convenience store close to our room. There was no contactless checkout, I had to go to the lobby to checkout, I needed to present my credit card so they could refund my deposit, a deposit I wasn’t expecting when checking in. We’re glad to move on to the next property,

Family vacation

It was a beautiful experience staying there, we enjoyed the resort and the rooms are super big and comfortable... You need a car if you plan to stay there

Big enough room for whole family stay. It has built in dishwasher and washer/dryer, but you need to bring your own detergent. Additional bedding set is available with purchase but pad is too thin. You may want to order extra blankets to laid on top of pad to protect your back.

The room was very new, spacious and comfortable for family of 6. Short walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores and theme park. Many nearby attractions within short driving distance. Perfect for family with kids. Parking space beside the apartment is very limited after evening time, so may need to park at further parking lots when necessary. There may be some inconvenience as there is no specific space for loading and unloading of luggages when car park is full.

Room are huge. Family room has 3 separate bedrooms. Highly recommend for value

Birthday party stay

We stayed for my son's birthday party. There are good things and not-so-good things about staying at Somerset. They absolutely REFUSE to let anyone check in any earlier than 3:00pm. That's sad. Even some of the most expensive hotels in Seoul will allow you to check in earlier if there are rooms available. So, you can imagine HOW LONG you have to wait in line to check in because of this policy. The swimming pool at times, has 1 or more lifeguard. Sometimes I'd see 0. Sometimes I'd see them on their phones. It's crowded, so your kids can't really have any fun. The rooms are big and spacious. You have to wash the dishes if you use them, and you have to take out all the trash before you leave, or you will be charged. Their housekeeping won't do it, which I find strange. You have to do a part of their job.

The condo was comfortable and spacious for a family with small children. The couches were quite worn out with many stains on them so it wasn't comfortable to sit on them. The staff are friendly and willing to help out, however many do not speak English so communication can be tricky. There is a lot to do on the resort grounds for families. If you have a car, driving just a few minutes outside of the resort will get you to a convenient store that has more resonable prices than the same branded convenient store on the resort grounds.

The property is overall well conditioned. Staff friendliness promptness, and formality was mediocre. The breakfast selection was great which is must try. Need a rental car to stay at this property.

Rooms look outdated than pictures. Not that clean and both my husband and I got rashes on our bodies after the first night.

Great

Large apartment suitable for families with sufficient parking right beside the building. Having a large master bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe was a nice touch. Note that this is a serviced apartment so you'll have to clear your own trash in the bins outside the building.

Very comfortable and beautiful family vacation

The stay at Somerset ShinHwa World was very comfortable and value for money. It included the tickets to the ShinHwa World theme park.

Nice staff service. Nice resort with lots of amenities and restaurants. Only downside was the cigarette smell in the bedding and the urine smell in the bathroom. Great place to stay with a child.

Amazing stay, go to place when I’m in Jeju. Great swimming pool. Rooms are clean and amazing kitchen with full utensils and dishes.

We booked the Somerset Family Villa. It was a great experience. Only negative is that you have to wash the dishes before you leave or you get charged $35 extra. Great place to be with your family. It has everything you need in one small neighborhood sized area.

Good stay

The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable! I was disappointed there was not a microwave in the kitchen. The room is very spacious, and there were multiple balconies. Great that a washing machine was in the room. It’s nice that there are multiple restaurants in the resort. I do feel it’s a little over priced.

Excellent family accommodation

Our second stay at Somerset, we will keep returning. The apartment is simply fantastic, so clean, modern and well organised. For a family usually crammed into a hotel room this place is big enough to spread out and truly get the space and make it feel like you can relax. This year we used the pool regularly which was never crowded and enjoyed an apartment with a view of the beautiful jeju. Thank you for making our holiday so relaxing.

I liked it mostly but the parking space is not enough. when we came back to hotel late, there was no space to park in front of our building. So we had to park far away.

층간소음이 너무너무 심해요

3층에 머물렀는데 윗층에 어린아이가 있는 가족이 투숙했는지 계속 뛰어다니는 소리가 엄청 심했어요. 밝을 때는 참다가 밤 11시 다되어서도 멈추지 않길래 컨시어지에 컴플레인했는데 컨시어지 스탭이 와서 직접 확인하고 윗층에 올라가 주의를 준다더니 컨시어지 스탭은 기다려도 오지도 않고 자정이 다되어 아이가 잠들었는지 조용해졌어요. 최악이었어요. 호텔리조트에서 층간소음은 첨 겪어서 황당하기도 하고 편히 쉬러가서 쉬지도 못하고 스탭들 서비스도 엉망이고 다시는 안갈꺼예요.

Our entire stay at Somerset, Shinhwa World was wonderful. The apartments are beautiful and very well equipped. The facilities are excellent. We loved the gym and pool. We enjoyed walking around Somerset. It feels like a little village. There are coffee shops and a lovely bakery. Shinhwa World is right accross the road with restaurants, bowling alley and of course the theme parks. This is great place for a vacation and to get away from the business in the cities on Jeju.

I wish that somerset resort is my home..

Amazing place to stay with family. We stayed some rest resort. Very comfortable bed and nicely designed interior of room. Hanwha resort was huge than what I imaged, everything was there Resturant, shops, casino. You can get a lot benefits for house guest. Very friendly and kind stuff.

Comfortable stay, great concierge Jimmy!

Amazing concierge service from Jimmy when we were stranded in jeju due to typhoon. Provided sound advice and helped us to call airlines to ask for refund and check flights. He’s definitely an asset to the hotel! Apartment was nice too, great for families and comfortable showers and huge master bedroom. Has microwave which came in handy during the typhoon. Washing machine as well. Nice large area for family members to mingle, and a minimart that is within the compound but not the nearest. Some apartment blocks can be quite far from the reception/check in area and it’s not sheltered.

Well worth the price for us. 3bedroom/2 bathroom spacious condo. The website says 1700sqft, I dont know if its that large, but it was quite large enough. We only stayed 2 nights though, so I can tell if we had stayed longer that it might not be as great because the cleaning service was nonexistent. When we book hotels, we prefer maid service only at the end, so thats why this was perfect for us for a short term stay only. Lots of attractions to do around the area, but its best if you rented a car to do them all. If not, I think our time would of been miserable. My version of around the area is any place that is less than a 30 minute drive away. The only negative was the Transformers Exhibit at the resort that was pretty boring and not worth the admission. Also some of the other nearby attractions on the resort property were closed.

Clean, new, reasonable price! Staffs are kind. Communication with staff were excellent.

Well managed. Staff are professional. Design of light switches should be better at this price. There should be a second switch next to the bed instead of only one at the door.

We were a family of 7 and we loved the apartment, clean, spacious, modern and bright. Our building was the closest to the pool and my kids loved it. All the staff were very helpful. I have to remark the kindly assistance of Mr. John, the manager. The last day he provided us with a van to get to the airport since we couldn't get a spot on the airport shuttle bus. The bus was supposed to provide 15 spots for Somerset guests, and it is based on a first come first served, even being the second ones arriving there, other people rode the bus; since there was no control or line we were very disappointed and after explaining the situation to the staff they arranged a van for us and I would like to thank them again for this gesture. I totally recommend Somerset apartments for a long stay in Jeju.

Very new, spacious, luxury apartment. Very good for whole family. Smart-home apartment, lighting and air-conditioners are electronically controlled. Well equipped kitchen with cooking and eating utensils. Hotel is a bit far away from city, public transport not convenient. Transport within resort mainly by walking, but not enough transport for elders who can't walk.

Clean and comfort stay!

We had a pretty good stay but the restaurants are little too far from where we stayed which makes it very difficult for the elderlies. Having said that, I think it is a very good place for families with kids.

This property is excellent but unfortunately the visitor living downstairs smoked heavily even though this is a non-smoking property. Strong smell filled our apartment especially the master bedroom bathroom. The property management was unable to ask him to stop smoking. So we have to stop using that bathroom. Other than this unpleasant experience, the property is very good.

Villas were a great setup. We had a 3 bedroom with 2 bath and it was spacious and so convenient. You do need laundry detergent as they don’t supply the detergent but there is a convenience store on the property (walkable) where you can purchase it. There are also eateries on the resort which stays open later which was nice.

Friendly staff who is genuinely caring and makes you feel well looked after throughout. Well managed a luxurious serviced apartment it was just right for relaxing family holiday. Few small issues, like wash basin clogging, blocked toilet and mal-functioning AC, were resolved in a timely manner. Overall we were very happy with Somerset Jeju Shinhwa World.

Awesome apartments!

unbelievable serviced apartments! Almost bigger than our home back home! 3 large rooms. W/D in the suite. Kitchen. great place. not exactly close to a ton of restaurants, but close to Shinwha amusement park (didn't go). It's hard for taxi drivers to find for some reason. Very comfortable and breakfast was great. Wish we could have stayed longer. Pretty new place.

Wonderful apartment for the family

One of the most modern apartments we have stayed. The accommodation was wonderful which the whole family enjoyed with lots of room. It is great for longer stay to get around beautiful Jeju with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

Fantastic stay at Somerset Jeju Shinwha World

Our entire stay at Somerset was exceptionally wonderful! The 3 bedroom apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortably well furnished. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful:) Airport shuttle service was very convenient and there’s also a shuttle bus within the huge resort. Many choices of restaurants and even a nice bowling alley and lounge to chill out at night :) Car rental service in Shinwha world was a huge plus point ( not many hotels in Jeju provides car rental. Only available at airport ) My last trip at another hotel in Seogwipo had me taking a 2 hours bus ride back to Jeju airport just to rent a car !! Will definitely recommend Somerset to everyone and we will be back soon:))

Amazing apartment for a family gathering

The Somerset is super new given it's just a few months old. Furnishings are super luxurious and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the comfort! Cheers Mare

New apartment with well equipped kitchen and comfy bedrooms. Would be good if the kitchen equipment had English translation on the ussage so that foreigners do not need a translator to teach us. Should have shuttle bus around the resort to ferry one around as the resort is huge.

처음 상태가 좋아서 만족했는데요 4박인데 청소는 한번도 안해주고 수건도 유료, 조식은 별로, 인터넷에 올라온 것들과는 시간들과 행사들 전부 다르게 되어있습니다

Family flat 非常大，溫馨舒適，每一間房間都很棒，洗澡熱水夠強很舒服。廚房配備齊全，但沒有菜刀、調味料。

온돌방 침구는 매우 별로였음. 요가 너무 얇아서 바닥에 눕는것과 별반 다르지 않음. 침구 추가를 1박당 돈 받는 것도 별로임. 베겟잇이 지저분하게 얼룩이 있었는데 뒷면이라 하루 지나서 발견함. 그 외에는... 3가족이 적당히 취사하면서 함께 지낼 수 있는 숙소로는 괜츈한듯. 정말 주변에 뭐가 없어 신화월드를 열심히 이용하고 즐기지 않으면 숙박비가 아쉬울듯 함.(우리 가족이 그러했.... 그치만 리조트 시설을 잘 즐긴다면 2박정도 괜찮을 듯 함)

コロナの流行以降、宿泊者限定の無料シャトルバスがなくなってしまったため、タクシーもしくは急行バスが交通手段となります。バス停からフロントまで（特に帰りの空港行き方面）は5分以上歩くため、大きな荷物があると少し大変かもしれません。

숙소가 넓고 쾌적합니다

방 상태가 좋았습니다. 식세기 세탁/건조까지 되어 아이들 데리고 지내기에는 더할 나위없이 좋았네요.

깨끗하고 넓고 편합니다.

넓고 깨끗해서 가족여행으로는 아주 좋습니다. 카운터에서 그때 그때 모르는게 있으면 친절하게 응대해주십니다. 다만 체크인 시간은 조금 시간이 오래 걸리는듯 합니다.^^ 그래도 크게 문제 될 정도는 아니었구요. 대체로 아주만족!!

반려견과 가족과 함께 객실 이용

반려견과 함께 가족 여행을 왔는데, 전반적으로 반려견 어메니티에 많은 신경을 쓴 점과 강아지와 가족에 대한 환대가 인상적이었습니다. 다만 기본적인 커피 머신이나 녹차 티백과 같은 어메니티가 없어 아쉬움이 있었습니다. 또한, 반려견 전용 객실이 호텔 리셉션과 거리가 멀어 다소 불편했습니다.

매우만족합니다

대가족이 이용했는데 편안하고 건강하게 잘 이용했네요. 편의시설과 놀거리, 휴양 등 모든 것이 다 갖추어져 있어서 정말 편안히 즐기다 갑니다. 정말 감사합니다.

객실 뷰도 좋았고 소음 없이 조용해서 편히 쉬기 좋았습니다. 산책이나 조깅하기 좋았어요.

숙소는 넓고 크고 좋아요 여러 가족이 묵기에 좋아요 단 청소를 2박부터 해주는거는 좀 그렇네요 그리고. 메인 거리까지가 넘 멀어요

가족과 함께 머물렀는데, 넓고 쾌적하고 좋았습니다. 편하게 3박 잘 지내다 왔어요.

아이들과 숙박했는데 모두 친절하게 응대해주시고 룸도 깨끗하고 넓어서 편하게 이용하였습니다. 다음번에도 또 이용하고 싶어요. 체크아웃은 10초 컷이라 더 좋았습니다.

시설은 good. 청결은 not good

아파트 같은 곳으로 가족이 이용하기 좋습니다. 그러나 청소상태가 좋지 않았습니다. 샤워기와 샤워기 줄에 곰팡이가 엄청났고, 창문도 손자국에 먼지까지 너무 청결하지 못했습니다.

정말 너무 만족 스러웠습니다. 다만 아기가 있다면 화장실에 미끄럼방지를 따로 요청 해야 할거 같아요.

전체적인 시설은 고급지고 좋았으나 샤워기의 불량 배수불량 등 관리적인면에서 조금 아쉽네요

청결하고좋았음

1. 제주 관광을 목적으로 한다면 가성비 그리 좋은 편은 아닙니다. 2. 신화월드 쪽 투어와 숙박을 즐긴다고 한다면 추천 합니다. 외부 투어를 목적으로 한다면 가성비 좀 아까운 생각이 듭니다.

3대 이상 가족들과 3박 이상 제주 여행 계획하고 있다면, 제주 신화월드 서머셋 보다 나은 숙소는 아마 없을 듯 합니다.

서머셋 어느동이냐에 따라 차를 멀리 주차해야할 수 있습니다. 물론 성수기이긴 하지만 가격대비 청결이 많이 안좋았어요. 욕실이 특히 지저분하고 낡았습니다. 배수구는 붉은물때, 수전주위는 검은곰팡이. 샤워기 줄은 물이 솓아납니다. 손이자주닿는 리모컨과 전등버튼 등이 끈적거리고 다양하게 뭐가 묻어있어서 제가 닦았습니다. TV리모컨도 자주쓰는버튼이 망가져 있어요. 쇼파도 굉장히 부스러기나 때가 많이 있어요. 물티슈로 안닦고 쓰는게 좋아요. 냉장고에 냄새가 많이났어요. 소스 등이 많이 묻어있길래 닦고나니 그나마 냄새가 덜 했어요. 시설내의 성화정 음식은 최고였어요. 배달도 되고 제대로된 중국음식 이었습니다. 근처 다른지역 배달도 가능해서 편했어요.

방은 넓으나 서비스가 아쉬운 곳

멀리서 보면 깔끔하나 가까이서 보면 먼지가 많습니다. 프론트와 전화안내직원과 현장직원 셋이서 각각 말이 달라 이용시설에 대한 혼란을 줍니다. 성수기라 객실청소를 3시나 되어야 받을 수 있었습니다. 룸은 굉장히 넓어서 가족 여행으로 가기 좋은 크기 입니다. 냉방이 아주 좋습니다.

주차는 좀 어려워여 ㅜㅜ 숙소앞에 주차가능한데 일찍와야 주차라인에 주차 가능 쇼파나 그런게 노후되었지만 편해여 가족끼리 여럿 가기 좋아요 수영장 작지만 어린 영유아가 놀기엔 최적 뮬이 초큼 더 따뜻했으면 좋겠어요

시설은 최고였으나, 프론트와 통화가 어려웠고, 근처에 맛집이 많지 않아서 불편했음.

오랫만에 써머셋에 머물렀는대 직원들 모두 친절하고 방상태도 양호하네요 ~~좋네요
