Poor
There is no wi fi. There is a TV in the room but it does not work. Why is it there? There was someone’s garbage (tampon and q tips) left in the toilet bin when we checked in. The place was not cleaned thoroughly. The showerhead was messed up, it just spewed water at you. Again, no wifi in the rooms. In one of the hallways it smelled like sewage. The building is pretty decrepit itself from the outside and needs to be torn down. Not suitable for a even a hostel. Nobody at the bar when check in supposedly is, at 5pm. I had to go to a neighbouring hotel and ask to call the hostel as I did not have cell service for someone to come to the next door bar where check in is supposed to be. There is no reception except the bar next door that doubled as reception but they do not seem to know much about the hotel or the surrounding area. The toilet flusher button was a nail in the wall that you had to push to flush, there was no button. If you need anything extra you have to call a specific phone number and as I did not have cell service this meant that I could not request anything. Like I said, this place needs to be torn down as it is not suitable for even a hostel. The photo of the hostel on the website is not the building that the rooms are in. The rooms are in the white building adjacent, with the paint coming off, next to the Victoria hotel. Do not be fooled by the false advertisement. The photo of the red brick building is the top of the bar where the check in is, not the hostel.
You get what you pay for - to an extent, with this one. Cheap room in a superb location. Relatively clean but facilities are befitting the price - poor decor, cracked and loose bathroom floor tiles, a travesty of a zip tied shower, poor room ventilation and a general condition of something you'd expect for the lowest local price. Set your expectations low, then go lower. If you need a place to crash - perfect. If you need functional facilities and a pleasant environment go elsewhere.
When we arrived nodoby was there and the option was to make a phone call if you do not have roaming (I came from Argentina) because the cost of having activated the cell phone is so expensive is a complication Being said that, the floor was dirty, the floor of the room the same, Take a shower was so difficult because the whole floor was flooded HORRIBLE
Good area
Although the staff member that checked me in was very nice, helping me find a place to lock my bike on the property, the poor condition of the building and rooms was very concerning. A review in German on another website said there were bed bugs here at some point, and though my inspection didn’t reveal any, the grime under the bed and general condition and smell of the property did not provide any reassurance. Simple maintenance things like properly functioning faucet valves, paint touch ups and more thorough cleaning would help. I don’t recommend this place.
Nice cheap hotel
Easy check in, very central and exactly how they show it!
Perfect!
Position excellent. Close to the center, close to several restaurants. Mattress comfortable. Big room ensuite. Clean enough. If i return i would book again. No elevator the structure is a little older but for me was perfect!
Only for sleeping
Upon arrival the room was not clean. The whole place is crying for a renovation. The location is perfect and the bed is comfortable. Mold in the bathroom, ventilation is unefficient.
Great location
The location is great, everything is within walking distance including the airport shuttle bus stops. The room was fine, bed were comfy. However the bathroom needs some love. The sink tap was lose, the floor moves underfoot and the shower does its own thing. The radiator in the bedroom was hanging off. We never saw anyone else, when we checked in we rang a number on the door, they gave us the key safe number and we let ourselves in. The bar downstairs we found to be quiet, maybe in summer it gets busy and noisy but it never bothered us. For a short stay this hotel is fine.
Central and great value for money!
The Skansen Hotel is a bit worn down. However it's clean and quite OK. I stayed Mon-Wed and had no trouble with noise as many other gusts have observed. Taken into account the price and location. I would rate this a great value for money stay in a ok rom :-)
The hotel was loud, there’s a pub opening during night hours. Not clean and without any personal. The guy from the bar was very kind btw
Lack of sleep due to lots of Noise from below Pub
Room is clean and no lift to reach room. And also Hotel is attached to the Pub in the ground floor, so lots of Music and Noise till 1AM. Its difficult to sleep till that time. I am not sure on other days. The only good part is Room is near to city center.
Room as promised
exactly what it promises - cheap room close
An honest well priced Stavanger Hotel
It is a friendly, clean older Hotel, compaired to other Hotels. You get value for Money and, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Disappointing hotel stay but a good price
Clear enough, this is a budget hotel, considering the price & location. Nevertheless, I have never been in a hotel that was this loud in my entire life. More like a Hostel with a private room/bathroom. Clean, with a small, single bed and a low budget bathroom. Everything would've been acceptable considering the price; however, the noise made this place terrible. On the bottom floor of the building there is an attached "bar" which is actually where you check in. Do NOT stay here if you want to go to bed before 3 or 4 in the morning. I am one that falls asleep very easily, but the "bar" on the ground floor is more like an incredibly loud club, with super heavy bass you can feel in your bed, and loud people you can hear through the windows (even from the third floor). If you need to get some rest, find another place. If you're looking to party all night in a good location for a very reasonable price, this might be the place for you.
Efficient cleanbbasic room with bath updated with laminate flooring. Above restaurant. We are seniors and asked for lower floor but given upper floor even though it seemed only one other guests there. I think they thought seniors did not want to hear noise from bar . There is a disabled elevator but they didn't use. Breakfast room not in operation yet. Nice friendly bartender checked us in and our delayed sas luggage by one day delivered but left in front of our room perhaps because we had left do not disturb sign as there is no real reception other than bar. Luggage was safe and intact. Perfect location next to Victoria and Havly and Clarion brygge as well as fjorde north office. Cruise ship parked across the street at harbor. CN walk to town and shopping
You get what you pay for.
Purely functional. No reception - check in to the bar attached to the hotel. Entrance to room is VERY basic. Room clean with comfortable single bed. Shower, toilet and washbasin. Desk. Hanging area but only one hanger. Good WiFi. Room looked on to street so subject to traffic noise.
Amazing
Amazing
Don’t stay here (Nov 2017)
No reception (have to go to different building) Building in bad condition Outdated appliances Bathroom flooods when you use shower Small Heater takes long to heat up
Weekend stay, close to city centre and cheap. Excellent free breakfast across the road.
Skansen Stavanger
The hotel is well situated, but the amenities were a bit lacking. There is not a proper elevator in the building (only a lift for disabled people which is hard to operate). We were put on the fourth floor and not informed of the lack of lift, or given instructions on how to use the specialized lift by reception at the Victoria Hotel. This led to a back injury dragging luggage up the stairs. Additionally, the room was poorly ventilated and very hot, even during the fall. The breakfast at the Victoria hotel was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and generally helpful.
Great location hotel
Except the downstairs midnight winebar, everything else is perfect. The location is about 10 mins when getting off the airport express bus. Very near to the seaview. 10mins walk to the ferry terminal. Morning breakfast it in Victoria hotel which is very perfect for the buffet.
Centrally located
Good location
A dependance of and next to the Victoria Hotel
Old building with a lot of stairs and small hallways. Noisy because of an inside bar downstairs.
Avoid
The Hotel is budget so for Norwegian rates very cheap. If you can stay up till 2am in the morning then this will be good location as the noise from the bar will keep you awake till this time. You are next door to the Victoria where you check in and go for buffet breakfast which has a carpet worth more than the Skansen. I would recommend you stay at the Victoria if your budget stretches that far.
Do NOT stay in room 15. It is next to the restaurant/bar, and there is music until midnight. The fantastic breakfast almost made up for the loss of sleep.
Avoid if you like silence.
This hotel in Stavanger, not far from train station, was good for me. Had to go to hotel next door to check in, but I found the room to be exactly what I wanted. Also, very close nice walk to the water and the Brygge. However, at night, there is a lot of noise from the bar downstairs, that opens until quite late. It didn't bother me, I had a beer in the bar, which was handy, but the noise may annoy a few people. So just be aware of this. But for me, it was a good atmosphere.
It's ok. Great location.
Location is perfect. Rest is ok. Staircase has weird smell and on weekends it is very loud in the bedroom from the street until 1am. Room is very basic decor, slightly old but very clean. Extra comfy beds, had great night sleeps once the music stopped at the clubs on the street. Breakfast was nice with a great selection and included local Norwegian food as well as standard European breakfast selection.
Walking distance to center of town
Clean room. Courteous staff. Quiet, no noisy bar as I feared from review. Even gave me a hairdryer and when I departed helped print out my e-ticket at last minutes notice. Very helpful. Wonderful!! 5-star Staff!!! Excellent People!!!! Relieved me of my worries...........when I didn't even ask. Highly recommended.
Quite good, considering the low price.
We actually got a free upgrade to the neighbor hotel Victoria, as Skansen was closed over Christmas (the two hotels share reception and breakfast room). The room was good, but the TV picture was a bit unstable. At the breakfast the coffee and the eggs were OK, the plates with cheese, ham etc. had clearly been in and out a few days in the low season. We stayed with the eggs. Expensive parking, public.
Telephone sometimes worked & sometimes did not - more often did not work properly. Elevator did not work at all.
budget hotel
Budget hotel in city center, close to all main attractions and sights + close to marina / pier / port. NOT Wi-Fi (broken during our staying). Breakfast GREAT - in hotel-partnet Victoria. Also you can use all-of-you-need in Hotel Victoria! :)
Comfy, sufficient, but loud.
Small but it was all I needed. The room was clean and functional. Only complaint was the horrible techno blaring until 4:00 AM. Hard to tell where it was coming from.
Excellent location
The hotel is by the harbour, near the Old Town, which is very convenient and very easy to find! The hotel itself was not too bad - nice, cosy rooms that were cleaned everyday. The only thing that I found inconvenient was the inconsistent wifi in the rooms. We had to go down to the 'breakfast room' to get some wifi signal. Also, we had to check in and out next door in Victoria Hotel, where they served the breakfast buffet.
Get what you pay for and that's fine.
You get what you pay for and for the money it's great. Breakfast at the Victoria is extremely good.
great for adventure travelers
Great neighborhood, wonderful place to stay for a quick trip through. Don't expect the 4 seasons and you'll be fine.
Exactly what I was looking for!
Great room for a great price! However it would have really helped to have wifi in the room though. For a traveller we rely on it quite a bit to plan our days and journeys
Stayed here before and stayed here again :)
The hotel is just 5 minute walk from the city centre. It looks pretty ordinary outside and inside but the room and clean and tidy. Decent size for a single person. Breakfast is included with great variety. I think this is the cheapest hotel I can find in a convenient location at Stavanger on hotels.com and I will certainly stay here again if I visit Stavanger again in the future.
Perfect for solo travellers

Room with morning walk
Nice Place With breakfast a 30 Seconds walk. Very very Nice breakfast With gluten free breakfast alternatives and very cheap, cheaper than us staying in a cabin at camping Places.
Quiet
It was what I needed, quiet, clean and convenient.
Amazing Stay
Place was pretty good and the breakfast buffet spread was the best i've had! :) Really recommended!
****
great price, great location
Would recommend
Clean room, nice chocolates, helpful staff, great breakfast
Handy for centre of town,
Very helpful staff at the Victoria (Breakfast & Check in) Fairly basic but clean and tidy,
You get what you pay for, rooms were cute and clean. Great buffet breakfast. For 50NOK you could buy a lunch bag and pack your own lunch. Location perfect
The good, the bad and the ugly.
Good:- The breakfast, which is served in the neighbouring Victoria Hotel, has to be one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Bacon, Sausages, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, beans, even ROAST TATTIES - completely crazy to have with breakfast but a good crazy. It had the best bread I have ever tasted and the butter was also amazing. Breakfast gets 11 out 10 from me. Superb. Bad:- Wifi was intermittent. Some of the TV channels didn't work. Ugly:- the shower and toilet room was far too small. Verdict:- Spend a bit more and stay in the Victoria Hotel next door - the breakfast was incredible.
Great location!
The exterior of the hotel seems a little rundown, but the room is good. It is just located next to Victoria hotel and I was really lucky to get the room with the view of the harbour. The breakfast at Victoria hotel was good too.
Adequate room for a short stay
Great room for a short visit in Stavanger. Great buffet spread and good walking distance to ferry terminal and shops in city.
Too Darn Loud
The Skansen Hotel is to put it nicely, a mess. My biggest complaint: it's above a rowdy pub that blasts music until after 2 AM. The room was vibrating from the speakers! My partner and I found sleep impossible. Also, it is owned by the Victoria Hotel and they clearly do nothing to maintain Skansen. You could not pay me to return to this dump.
Perfect for a hostel and a quicker overnight stay
The reviews of this hotel seem poor. My advice is to expect hostel quality and you'll be satisfied. The breakfast is brilliant and served in the restaurant next door. Our room was spacious and the shower was brilliant! The hotel is just on the dock front so is within a five minute walk of the boats and tours that leave regularly to Preikenstolen. It's a two minute walk to some touristy bars and restaurants. A 10 minute walk to the train and bus station. It's perfect for hikers or explorers on a budget. Nothing plush but basic and just what we needed. Would return if in Stavanger again.
AWFUL HOTEL
LOUD MUSIC ALL NIGHT WHICH CAUSED ME NOT TO SLEEP AND DIRTY HOTELSTAY SOMEWHERE ELSE
Good value for Norway
The room was a decent size, water hot, you get to eat breakfast at the Victoria hotel next door which puts out quite a spread. Wifi worked okay.
You get what you pay for
Cheap old hotel. Check in and breakfast in hotel Victoria next door. Elevator is of the handicap type. Have to keep pressing button and very slow. No front desk, but bartender in bar next door keeps an eye on the entrance when bar is open. Run down furniture. Cheap maintenance solutions. Not recommended for families or old people.
The showers... Woof
Compared to other hotels in Stavanger and Norway, skansen was the most reasonable price but you get very few perks for the amount you pay. It felt more like an old college dorm than a hotel but the rooms were clean, the staff at the Victoria hotel (where you have to check in and get breakfast) was very helpful and I had no complaints during my stay. Everything written in previous reviews about the shower is accurate. If there's anything you don't want to get wet don't leave it in the bathroom while you shower. Water gets everywhere and you have to squeegee it up after. Can't say that I would stay there again if I had a choice but it was the cheapest hotel and is the perfect location for anything you would need to reach in Stavanger. If you don't mind the quirks it's a great option on a budget
This hotel is effectively closed. There is no reception. The entrance is shared with a pub/club.One has to collect keys from the Victoria Hotel, next door.Brekfast is at this hotel. The television, not flat screen, did not work properly.Avoid this place at all cost.
Cheapest i could find
Its fine at the price. Norway is expensive. Only one night breakfast is served in the hotel next door
Absolutely No Frills
Recommend with a BIG "However,"... A budget hotel, which may be an oxymoron in Norway. Low cost for Stavanger, absolutely no frills, but gets the job done. Reminded me of my old college dorm room but for one person and smaller (twin size bed). Free internet was nice, guest service and check in done at Victoria Hotel across street. No closet, only wall shelf with 5 hooks. I asked Victoria Hotel for a few hangers to hang some clothes. Bathroom only has shower, sink, toilet. Shower has curtain but water leaks out into bathroom area. They leave you a squeegee to try to get water back into shower area. Ask for two sets of towels and use one set as bath rug. Breakfast at Victoria Hotel, but good spread. Dance club across street blares music on weekends til 0300 in the morning.
Cheap for a reason
Not really a hotel anymore, just an extension of the place next door. Looks a but like a prison inside. Room ok, bathroom was pretty grim. Friendly staff, good location but very tired.
The worst in Norway... so far...
Cleaning was about average, but the bed smelled of old sweat. The room was very small, and even had a hole in the wall that was not fixed. You could hear the neighbor as clear as if he was in your room. The remote for the TV (very old TV) was broken. Reception and breakfast was in the neighbor hotel, and both was above average. If your company pay for the hotel, go for something else. If you pay yourself, expect to get what you pay for... which isn't much...
OK for short stay, no frills
This was ideal as short distance from all the shops and bars, there is a small car-park which is free from 2000 to 0800 a short distance away or across the street a 'pay' park so no issues getting parked.
Too much noise for sleeping
I usually stay in hostels with no worries. But this hotel was such a noisy experience that we couldn't sleep for two nights at all even with earplugs on. Bass from the club next door and a huge party in upstairs rooms until early morning hours caused severe grumpiness and dark shadows under eyes. Even a good breakfast or close walk to the city didn't make up for this downside. Cannot recommend to people who appreciate sleeping.
Last solution
living at Skansen was not something i can recommend unless you have NO other solution in Stavanager. This is not hotel, but hostel. Reception and breakfast in other hotel. Internet is unstable, the lights didnt work and the entrance is same as bar. The personal on other hotel was really good, so that was the upside.
must avoid
not much different to a jail cell
Horrible experience
Not a nice room at all. Had to move as the walls were too thin.
Comfortable accommodation.
The hotel was close to a harbour. I quite like there. Staff was kind and friendly. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was gorgeous. One thing I disappointed was there's no shower curtain and any partition between shower and a toilet. After having a shower the floor is wet so you need to wipe the floor by yourself. Apart from that I felt good with the hotel. Thank you.
Perfect for a single traveller on a budget. The room was much nicer than I expected for the location and from reading the previous reviews. Good free breakfast included too. You can't really beat it for the price in Stavanger.
Medium satisfaction hotel
Internet was off all the days of our stay and we couldnt work.... :(
Great Value
The rooms are basic but perfectly comfortable, rooms cleaned every day, fresh towels everyday. Great location near the waterfront and only a 1 minute walk to all the major bars and restaurants.
Decent hotel in good location; good service
We generally enjoyed our stay here. It was a quick walk from the ferry piers and a quick walk to good restaurants, so we didn't even use public transportation within the city once. The state of the room was fine: most akin to a private room in a hostel, really, with few amenities and a bathroom that was lacking in space and real comfort but for how expensive Norway is we didn't complain much. The breakfast included in the price of the stay (over at the Hotel Victoria) was nice and complete and the service over there was friendly and great.
Cheap is expensive
No reception, No entering telephone calls.Bathroom small and not convenient. Water stay on the floor. No place to put soap & shampoo in the shower. Old TV with limited chanels (Norwegien). However - excellent location!!! and relatively good breakfast in Victoria hotel. The price is considered low in Norway in comparison to other hotels, but Norway is expensive and the feeling is that you get less for paying much money.
Not recommendable!
Very NOISY, no Elevator, if summer is hot and your room is facing the sun in the evening time, i can imagine you can never sleep at all, cause there is no air-con. You have to go to Hotel Victoria to coordinate everything.
Feels more like a hostel than a hotel. Bathroom is not very nice and toilet is far too high (feet cannot touch the floor!!!). Awful smell in the corridor. As front door is also the entrance to the bar, bangs continuously during the evening
Do not expect luxury
The hotel is mainly an old B&B, borrowing the reception and breakfast from the neighbouring Hotel Wictoria. Tiny rooms, with a minimal bed, tiny tv, and generally rundown all over. However; for one night, with NO family or spouse it will work ok.
Skansen hotel - Not an hotel
A really bad hotel: my doubleroom was a single room, no cleaning of the bathroom when I was there, the breakfast at Victoria hotel was not very good at all, the room was of a very low standard. Quite noisy street, very warm room, and a risk to set off the firealarm when taking a shower. For 20-30 € more, you will get an hotel of a much higher standard in Stavanger -a real hotel. However, centrally located, good wifi.
Worst experience ever
This is a crappy 2 star hotel to a 4 star price. I could hear the breathing from the neighbour room and the sigh when I asked her to turn down the volume on the TV. Never again!
Pay your money - take your choice
Look, Norway is an expensive destination. If you could care about facilities and the ambience don't choose this hotel. If all you need is a bed (and a single one at that) then this hotel ticks a lot of boxes. If you fly budget airlines and accept all the comprimises that entails then think of this as another link in that chain! The location is simply spot on so if that's important then you'll be happy.
Skansen in Stavanger, cheapest but not least
This hotel just does not worth its price. Reception and breakfast are in the hotel next door, just the street to cross, no big deal. But, the hotel just looks like it's not finished, the furniture is really cheap, the bathroom is very very small without even a shower tub! Yet, the room is clean at least. Finally, I have to recommend it anyway as the prices in Stavanger are just awfully expensive, even compared to the rest of Norway and Skansen is the cheapest I could find.
Simple standard but nice and clean.
Excellent breakfast at nearby hotel. Convenient location near city center.
Skansen in Stavanger - Just Right.
Great location, great breakfast, a bit pricey, but that's Norway. I don't understand other reviewers concerns about checking in at the hotel next door. The entrance and hallways look industrial, but I wasn't staying in the hallway. The room was very clean, bed was VERY comfortable, the TV worked, the shower was hot, bathroom clean, there was a little grocery store around the corner, what more do you need? I think all rooms face on the street, so it was a little noisy with the window open, but the hotel is a couple of blocks from the outside noisy bars, so couldn't hear any of that.
Nice location
I'd stay there again
more like "skanken" hotel (is it even a hotel?)
this has been part of my first trip to Scandinavia where you really get what you pay for. in this case, i opted for totally budget since i was just passing through (i needed a place to stay the night because the ferry from where i stayed primarily didn't leave early enough for me to catch the early train out of Stavanger). well, i had no expectations about this place -- and still i was disappointed. the place advertised itself as a hotel (2 stars even) -- but you had to check in at the actual "sister" hotel next door. there were no elevators, and it just reminded you of places that you "rent by the hour" (so to speak). there was a phone in the room but the funny thing was that it didn't even give you the number to call the front desk of the other hotel so you had to go out to request your wake up call in person. the location in general is probably the only redeeming quality of this place. if you really don't care about where you sleep, and it's only for one night max, it's utilitarian enough. otherwise, this really isn't one of those "destination hotels" where you spend lots of time in -- it's an OK place if all you really will be doing is catching maybe 2-3 hours of sleep before you get out of town.
good value good position
The hotel was in a fantastic position, the room was clean, the staff were friendly. There was a bit of noise from down stairs. Over all it was good value. I have stayed in worse places with more stars. Only complaint..... Fix the coffee machine!!
tiny room/bad smell
the room was small, and the bathrrom was tiny! if u bath, the water spills everywhere. that would explain the bad damp smell in the room.
Better than the reviews
I was concerned that this hotel would be awful after reading the reviews. The room was very clean, we had a view of the harbor, the location was fantastic, the bar down stairs was fun and friendly, the hotel breakfast served at the Victoria next door and was amazing! The only negative about this hotel is that we could not figure out the lift and had to walk up 4 flights with our luggage, but we are healthy and strong so it was not a big deal. Check in is at the Victoria next door, and we chose not not go back and ask how to operate the lift.
ok budget hotel
What is not advertised is the nightclub across the road which is open on a Friday and Saturday from midnight to 3am. If you want piece and quiet on these nights then choose to stay in the sister hotel (victoria hotel). The Windows in the skansen do not keep out much noise. The rooms are starting to look a little tired with scuffs and dents in the walls and the bathrooms could do with a refresh. The breakfast is served in the Victoria hotel and is good and the location couldn't be any better
great location
it was in a great location. breakfast was great and the hotel stuff was very helpful.
Good 'budget' hotel with problems
The "unenclosed" elevator has an arm which swings out with buttons had you hold down continually 'til you get to your floor. The elevator only goes to the 3rd of 4 floors. There's a night club directly across the street which blares & booms 'til 3AM, mostly on weekends. Other than those limits, it's very reasonably priced & the breakfast in the Victoria Hotel is the standard fare. The staff there is very helpful.
I guess you get what you pay for.
The hotel was cheap by Stavanger standards and in a convenient location but it was pretty basic and rather shabby.
Take your own earplugs
I checked into my room, and there were three main things that hit me straight away: - The room was freezing, I tried to put the heating on but it wouldn't work. - The windows were so thin, I could hear every footstep outside and every conversation as if I was stood next to them - From the photos I thought I was going to get a desk- in the room I was in the only table in the room was dominated by one of the enormous old-fashioned tv's. As I was there to work this was unacceptable. After complaining to reception I was moved to a new room which was better, but still very basic for the amount that you pay for this hotel. The windows were still thin, so I'd recommend taking earplugs. After speaking to some of the people that live there, Stavanger hotels are generally very expensive apparently, so don't expect too much from it. All in all though, it was clean and the staff (at the Victoria, where the reception now is) were very helpful and once I voiced my complaint dealt with it very quickly. The room was tidied and clean towels were provided every day.
Dårlig standard men billigst i byen
Keep the exits clear please
The hotel is what it is, to a point where it's almost comically charming. Toilets seat strapped with cable ties and graffiti on the bedroom wall. However, for at least two days one of the hallways that also serves as an emergency exit was blocked by a large trolley and different building materials that were stored on the floor. In the (likely) case of an evacuation that's just dangerous and unforgivable.
Humorboost
Rein seng og rein vask på badet. Sentral beliggenhet for oss.
Nothing worked properly. Dirty room with no or only very little clearing. The Windows almost fell out of the frames. The staff was unfriendly/arrogant. No service what so ever. A really bad experience.

Great location and price for a private room. You get what you pay for, facilities are run down, and i was checked into a completely uncleaned room (was moved to a clean room without any issue)
