Excellent communication & service, great location, simple rooms that have everything you need. We look forward to our next visit.
Great location. Georgina was fantastic
The 3 bedroom ok the top level is amazing
Room was ok. The couch wasnt comfortable at all. Smaller in size than expected and the ceiling was too low for use of the top bunk bed. Location was good.
Perfect for what we needed and price respectable
Host Georgie went above and beyond to make our stay easy & enjoyable
Staff and accommodation great, had a great stay
We had a family room which was tiny. The table in the room had 2 seats with barley enough room to use. Table was not cleaned with sticky bits on it.Coffee for plunger was already opened by previous guest, no coffee mugs. Rooms with thin walls so you can hear doors slamming and kids running up and down the corridor. Although it was a place to sleep, it was not much more.
Highly Recommend
Well priced lovely bathroom, great sauna, very useful laundry facilities to use, really helpful and friendly women who tan the place. Had a fab time in Falls Creek would stay there again.
Breakfast included, that's great to get you ready for the day.
Georgie (manager) was amazing
Amazing stay in bunk room. Excellent breakfast every morning kept us filled up till dinner. Room was exactly as pictures show. Great value for location. Best element was customer service provided by Georgie that was amazing and accomodating in every way. Have stayed twice and would stay again.
This place was great! Georgie who manages Silverski is awesome and her hospitality was excellent - nothing was too much trouble. I loved my stay here!
Great service and friendly staff made for a great stay.
The location of this hotel is a short walk from the parking and ticketing area, so an ATS will not be necessary. It is in close proximity to the slalom plaza and village bowl where the main chairlifts are situated and has a great restaurant on the ground floor. However the room is ridiculously small and the bathroom spans the width of a door.
Great place to stay.
Georgina was a terrific host, the property is in the perfect location central to everything. Will be staying at silver ski every time we come up
Appartment was well set up and clean. Complimentary breakfast was great. Kate's hospitality was exceptional
The Property was in a great location and the staff were excellent
Comfortable, happy with stay.
Rooms were comfortable and warm, although a little cramped. Bathroom had newer fixtures and fittings. Wifi was speedy but without password protection (guests will need decent firewalls on devices). Included breakfast was decent. Drying room very handy. Could have had more washing machines and dryers.
The Silverski is highly recommended for families, easy access to all that’s offered. Shuttle bus to and from the hotel was easy. Great overall stay with plenty of room to store your ski gear and the drying room was great too Thank you for the enjoyable stay Will definitely be back 🙂
The Price is Right
Great place to stay for the money you pay. Close to everything. We stayed with two kids (ages 10 & 8) in a one bedroom that sleeps 4. It suited us comfortably. Staff are friendly. Breakfast downstairs was great! Will be recommending to others and will stay again next season.
Great value for money
A great family room. Excellent location right between two lifts. Easy route to ATS. Large fridge and microwave. Too warm in the bedroom but able to open the window in the lounge for ventilation. Great drying rooms. Sauna works well. No ski tuning area
Great location
Great restaurant, has ski rentals. Friendly managers Room was small. Bathroom was newly redone. Great shower. Tons of drying room space.would go back soon.
Nice one
This was just right for my stay for the price. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating with my check in and check out. The breakfast was nice. My room was small and could have done with some drawers and a chair, but it was functional and warm. A bit noisy. The hotel's front steps are not ideal for bring up luggage and skis, but manageable. Good location.
Great location & good breakfast
Lovely reception staff & friendly waits staff. Good freshly cooked breakfast upon request included in the stay. Rooms are small however for the price & the amount of time you stay in the room they are great. A few more wall hooks in the bathroom & a storage baskets in the tv cabinet would be fantastic to help with the limited space. Location is fantastic with walking distance to all aspect of the mountain.
Really small room, a bit dirty in places. A hole in the wall. Admittedly one of the cheapest places on the mountain, but still expensive. If it were cheaper I would review more highly...
Convenient and cheap hotel for a short stay
Perfect for our requirements, only 2 nights for two people in single bunks. Better than a lodge or dorm, with your own shower and toilet. Comfortable and clean beds, room space is a little small, you would want a bigger space if staying for longer than 1-2 nights. Good hot breakfast included as well! Overall we were happy with our stay!
Homely lodge, within easy walk to ski lift.
Anna was very pleasant, easy to talk to, and most obliging. She was most helpful with some issues relating to my ski gear, above and beyond her responsibility, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast manager was equally obliging, sometimes serving a hot breakfast to my table, as I had ordered, almost before I collected the cutlery. Ski storage and drying rooms were well set up, and conveniently located near the entrance. The "Crash Pad" was aptly named and advertised as a relatively economical, compact and spartan room. However, it does have a great view, comfortable bunks, an en suite and a decent TV, which was all I needed.
Lived up to the Name - Crash Pad
Good value for money, room matched the description and had all the features advertised.
Short stay - good vibe.
Pros: Nice restaurant/bar, good simple breakfast cocoa pops, toast and bacon and eggs. Friendly service. Really nice vibe. Cons: Tight room tiny bathroom needs improvement.
Having seen the hotel manager for the whole stay but she is very responsive to our requests through text. There is a long stair outside the building and no lift inside. So, it is not ideal for foreign visitor with heavy luggage. The bathroom sink has two taps, one for hot water and one for cold water. So, you can never have warm water. Hot water is not stable, but still acceptable. People around the hotel were still making noise at 1:00 am and we could hear that clearly on our bed. Room is compact, as expected, but the bunk bed was actually quite comfortable. Burger in the restaurant is very good. Overall, the experience was good and satisfying.
Restaurant downstairs was good. Loved the steak there. The hotel itself was on average. Just a place to sleep over. Staff were really nice though.
Good location
The door slider fell off, the toilet system broke, and the noise outside after the bars closed ( and after the band stopped playing) was horrific, but we were given ear plugs to help!!!
Great location and facilities for the price.
The room was small but perfectly comfortable for me as I was on my own. Would be a little difficult for two people, and really, out of the question for three, unless a small child was the third. The room was very well equipped and was beautifully clean and recently renovated. Lovely linen and comfy beds. Breakfast was an unexpected plus but things often ran out and we're not replaced.
Nice place to say, easy to get arouns
Very friendly staff, great food, very accomodating, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great value and a 'funtastic' time. Not to mention a very central location, easy access to the main ski lifts and semi-continental buffet every morning was included. The photos on the website does not do the place justice.
Great location
The location is good and we had a good time
Only downfall the shower.
Falls Creek centrally located
not good - leaking faucet and shower full of mildew.
Nice hotel. Lovely bar and restaurant staff.
As it was the end of season there was no one at reception. Good service at ski hire shop.
Disappointed
SilverSki is a ski in ski out hotel and has a good location, nice restaurant and great drying rooms. Management were fantastic. However we had a room near the hallway/staircase and next to the drying room and were kept up all night by people talking loudly coming up the stairs or going into the drying room, as well as the music from the restaurant on Friday and Saturday night. The double bed were 2 single beds pushed together and the shower was incredibly old and mouldy. The hot water service didn't work welland went from freezing cold to scalding hot 10x per minute - without me touching the taps! The tap in the sink leaked and there are separate hot and cold taps which means you either burn or freeze if you want to wash your hands/face. There is no closet to put anything away in and the room was much smaller than appeared in photos. Bedding however were nice and clean. You get what you pay for as all places are ridiculously overpriced in Falls Creek but for $240 a night and looking at the photos advertised I expected much better.
Simple and clean. In the heart of falls creek!
Had a great time in the crash pad! Room was clean, and had all the features required for a simple stay on the mountain. Very nice ski in ski out location. Only downfall was the noise level, which was coming from the restaurant/bar downstairs. Staff were always nice and we received a complimentary breakfast each morning. I'd definitely come back to this place again!
Great location & good for the price
I had low expectations due to reading poor reviews, but was pleasantly surprised! Cost was the main draw card for this hotel, the next cheapest ski-in/out option was a extra $200pn. Location very central for lifts & eating out. Oshi Go Japanese restaurant really yummy affordable family friendly option downstairs. Noise the main issue & our room was above the drying room so heat through the floor made it a sauna! I'd recommend it if you're a heavy sleeper.
Disappointed to say the least
I stayed at Silverski with my two daughters. (single mum) The rooms are so small that we couldn't even pass each other as we tried to move off our bed to the bathroom. There are tea and coffee making facilities however no bins in the rooms and we had to continually ask for clean cups, tea bags, milk etc. It is literally a crash pad however we booked for six nights so it was very average. We literally layed on our bed the whole time we were in our room as there is no where else to sit etc. It is back packer accommodation at the most and not designed for anything more that two nights as there are no kitchen facilities etc (not even a communal kitchen) The rooms and bathroom are also extremely out dated and old - only a sink and no vanity bench etc. It was a long six nights stuck in a sardine tin.
Great place to stay
Silverski is an amazing hotel in a really convenient location. Ski in and ski out possible to both Falls Creek Express and Gully Chairlift. Staff is wonderful and very helpful.
Good position but dingy rooms
Silverski is well located and the managers were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the lodge is old, dingy and need of major renovation. The walls are painted black and give a grungy feel; while our room had lovely hot water, the shower leaked and wet the adding carpet. The ensuite was poorly designed and always wet - no well vented.

Unfortunately we did not have a pleasant experience at this hotel. We found that it was largely overpriced for what you get (we had the intimate room which was even smaller than we expected). The feel of the hotel was very 'backpackery'. The walls are very thin and uncontrolled late night partying made it very difficult to get any decent rest. The hot water was also extremely temperamental instantly changing to either freezing cold or blistering hot to the point where we almost gave up on showering. If you wish to wind down and chill after a huge day of skiing then I'd certainly suggest either paying that little bit extra for a decent room at QT or Huski etc or saving your money by staying at a cheaper place. This place is certainly not value for your money.
ski in ski out position
Budget hotel run by passionate nice people. no more requests for reviews PLEASE!!!!!
Don't waste your money.
Extremely overpriced for what it is. Its tinyer than even described with barely no room to move around at all. No heating. Poor noise control with parties going on in the building until all hours in the morning. Walls so paper thin you can hear the dude next door taking a dump. We couldn't even have a proper shower as the hot water was crazy tempermental to the point of instant scalding. You might as well stay at a lower end place and save your money.

Had another great stay. I’ll be back (again). Super convenient, good restaurant in the building, and the person who runs the place is lovely.
