Nice
Nice room for price
Quiet area, close to dinning and shopping. Ski in the area was great. The beds were not great, probably could use new mattress.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Only issues we had were minor. The dishwasher didn't appear to work, but figured out the latching mechanism was worn and if you slam it had enough you could get it to operate. Other minor issue was the TV in the the Master didn't work/wasn't connected to cable. Would have been nice to use it but not that big of a deal. There was a plumbing disaster in another area, which fortunately didn't affect us. The morning we moved out the elevator wasn't working... again, not that big of a deal as we are an able bodied family and the complex is only 2 stories, but we couldn't use a luggage cart since we were going down stairs. The pool, hot tubs and sauna were nice and the kids enjoyed the game room. I do wish there was an outdoor hot tub, but all in all I believe we got the value we paid for and would stay there again with the same budget. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 and the beds were comfortable. Having the shuttle to the resort area was a plus, but if you are carrying a bunch of equipment for little kids, I recommend driving to the Mary Jane base. The walk to the Winter Park base from the drop off is hellacious and even worse coming back (uphill). My elementary aged kids were about done before they even put on their skis. Mary Jane parking was plentiful and right at the lifts. Downside is not much easy stuff there. This isn't a 5-star posh ski in/ski out experience, but it isn't the Motel 6 either.
Property was spacious and comfortable. Great location right near a shuttle to the mountain and other locations in town.
The Staff at Silverado II were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are exceptional and comfortable. I would reccomend this place to anyone planning a stay in Winter Park.
It was just what we needed for a long weekend ski trip of 4 days. The Winter Park ski shuttle picks you up right in front of the hotel by the road. It’s a little difficult to walk in the snow to the main road, so make friends with or find out the number to the local shuttle driver in the evenings who can get you to one of the couple of restaurants or a grocery store. Full kitchen was great. Fireplace was also nice. Very spacious 2 bedroom unit with plenty of living room space, dining table and full kitchen with a dishwasher! Also the 2 little balconies were cute - one from the main bedroom and another balcony connected to the living room. Front desk service was nice and polite. Make sure to get to the grocery store to grab a few things. You won’t be reasonably able to walk in the snow down the road past all the other hotels to get to some food without the local shuttle picking you up.
Great Family location.
Silverado II was a great place to stay. Convenient to Winter Park ski slopes and downtown Winter Park. Free transportation is available to the surrounding areas. I am planning my next stay already.
Good solid condo for a Wnter Park stay with family. Convenient ski bus!
Loved having a partially stocked kitchen, beds were comfortable, great location, nice hot tubs & the price was responsible!
Jonathon the site manager did a great job of keeping in touch & trying to accomodate everyone. The condo that we thought was on the first level was actually on the 2nd level & had to climb 2 sets of stairs to get to it after taking the elevator to the 2nd floor.
I found the room to be very cold. The fire place did not work tried adjusting the room thermostat itself and that didn’t seem to make a difference.
This is an older property that has been kept up well. Fully stocked with the essentials. We had a medical emergency while staying and had the most generous and gracious assistance during our time of need. Pool and hot tubs were in working order. Extremely pleasant staff.
Our stay at the Silverado II
It was very nice and relaxing. Everything we needed was present for us. Amanda the manager in duty was very kind and helpful.
Not a place for the handicapped! Elevators only reach 2nd level, but units are 2 floors higher. No warning on website. Slow service - Took 2 days to get towels after multiple requests.
Spring Break 2022
Nicely appointed 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom condo with nice kitchen, dining and living room setup. 2nd bedroom and bathroom was nice for my 11 year old daughter and her friend. The covered parking was great as we were hit with 12” of snow one night. And, the ski lockers in the parking garage were very convenient. New mattresses in the bedroom with 2 single beds is needed, but I’d come back again.
Ski Vacation
The location was good. The family stayed for a ski week. The unit only had one tv in the living room, for us that was fine, but other families may need more entertaiment options. The Lift bus only stops once per hour so we ended up driving to the mall and parking there and taking the bus. We did appreciate the two bathrooms. Overall a good value and nice place.
Loved the game room. Floor rugs and bathrooms need updating. Loved the covered parking.
We loved the unit. Well equipped kitchen. Loved the views from every window. Lots of balconies, it was too cold or I would have been out on the balconies.
The property itself is a little dated but our room was huge. We had the kids invite a couple friends for our ski weekend and they had so much fun in the pool and game area. The parking garage is nice to have and the shuttle stop is right there. Maybe bring a pillow from home, the bedding is pretty basic but the unit worked out perfect for us.
It was quiet, the condo was clean I will definetly stay here again.
Specifically our unit was dirty. Food parts around the kitchen and table. Stuff was jammed in the closet so it could not be used. It worked but I would like to say it was great.
The property is close to the town of Winter Park within walking distance of shopping and dining, but the unit I stayed in is outdated and it was a little dirty.
Unit smelled bad and had no toilet paper—also no screens on sliders or windows so a person could air it out. A dirty towel hung behind the master bathroom door. Overall property is worn out and dingy. The hallways were airless and smelled awful. Will not stay here ever again
Great place to stay . I would return for future stays .
We never got to stay nobody was there ever. We are still trying to get our money back. Worst experience i have ever had. Expedia wouldnt do anything about it either, we even had the trip insurance.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Silverado II! The 2 bedroom condo was huge, the kitchen was well equipped and overall we had a great time and will definitely return. The front desk manager was simply amazing and helped make our trip great! I booked this hotel because of the pool and hot tubs, so we were super bummed that these amenities were closed. The fire pit was inoperable and the gas grills were out of propane. The game room was open and we really enjoyed that as well. Ample parking, very clean, courteous staff. Will definitely return.
Beautiful facility, close to everything, well maintained with friendly staff.
Perfect, cozy and homey family getaway
Perfect family get-away! Right up the street from Winter Park (the town) and just minutes from the mountains. The condo was super clean, spacious, and we loved having our own kitchen to cook our meals instead of ordering take-out. Only negative comment, the hot water tank was pretty bad and only 2 of us could take a really quick shower before hot water ran out. We're definitely going back!
Nice property, clean. Unit a bit dated. No amenities due to COVID 🙁
Very spacious clean condo with comfortable beds. Will stay again.
Great family stay
We had a great experience in our newly remodeled unit. It was cozy and had everything we could have needed.
Convenient WinterPark Resort
Convenient to down town and free shuttle stop. This property was great for our family ski trip. Took shuttle each morning to the slopes, then came back at night to relax and enjoy family time together. Group of 5 adults, so we utilized the full kitchen each day. Pull out couch was comfortable and property has covered parking and ski lockers for your gear. Highly recommend.
Our place was beautiful and very clean. Loved having a kitchen to cook instead of having to eat out. The only downside was selecting this place because they had a hot tub. There wasn’t a disclaimer online saying it was shut down. But, with COVID we probably should have expected it. Would stay here again for sure, though.
cozy stay
We had an updated condo that was perfect for our family of 5. We were hot though and should have brought fans to put in our rooms.
Very aged facility. Needs remodeling. Surrounding nature great.
Perfect place
Wasn’t sure what to expect. However the condo was perfect!! 1 king size bed in one bedroom, 2 twins in the other. Comfortable and beautiful.
There was hair in the bathroom drawers. The hot water ran out too soon. Only supplied one extra trash bag for four day stay. There was nobody at the front desk most of the time.
Great condo’s with all you need
Roomy corner unit with a complete kitchen. Pool in the building.
This was a great condo for our family of 4. Lots of room, great amenities and underground parking. We will definitely stay here in the future!
Somewhat dated property, but clean, great location and excellent value.
They still need to update their website about not having a bistro on property. Also the game room needs new cues for the pool table. Other than those things the stay was very pleasant and as always we had a blast....I highly recommend this place to families and people who like to not be bothered by cleaning staff who clean during nap time
Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay. The front desk manager, Kathy, was great and helped us with our after hours check in. We will definitely be staying there again.
In garage parking. Rooms very nice and spacious. Kitchen updated. Liked balconies in
Nice little getaway!
As other reviewers have stated, the facility is a bit dated. However, we came to Winter Park to play outside and not stay in the condo. The pool and game room were nice. The unit we rented
We spent two nights at the Silverado II. It worked out perfectly for us. We were able to cook a few meals in the well stocked kitchen, and we enjoyed the hot tub. We had a few very minor issues and they were quickly taken care of. I would recommend the Silverado if you are visiting Winterpark.
Great stay
We stayed in Room 222. Amazing! Recently updated. Only issue was a malfunctioning washing machine. Easy quick trail access to downtown attractions.
Just OK
The town & location of this place was great! Beautiful. The condo we stayed in was out dated & not very clean. Our 2 year old kept finding various food pieces. The sofa bed didn’t have sheets so we had to make do with a blanket which left us a blanket short. Also when we pulled it out there was food inside of it and under it. We were also on the 3rd floor and had lots of luggage so that sucked! Overall stay was ok. Never met anyone in the office so can’t say much about the service. No one there when we checked in or out.
We loved that the condo we rented was very roomy and our two bedroom version had three balconies with lots of windows. The kitchen was well equipped and two TVs were handy as well. We were there during the huge blizzard that hit Colorado in mid March 2019, we were all commenting that we were really glad we had such a large comfortable room seeing we were stuck indoors for a day. The parking garage was a blessing as well since it kept our car from getting covered with snow. The staff was helpful and friendly, when we go back to Winter Park, this will be where we stay.
The condo rents for 6 people, kitchen provides plates and bowls for four, pots and pans were scratched, it is not safe to use them. Toilet was getting clogged, no maintenance available, we had to wait a day for someone to come. Leaking dishwasher, we had to do dishes by hand. The room was dirty, hair on the sheets, hot water tank would only handle hot water for showers for max of two people, very disappointing. Would not recommend this place
Had a great time. Great place for a family get away in the rockies.
comfortable stay at great price
needed a place to stay for a ski trip and the silverado fit the bill, a comfortable 2 bed condo, a bit dated but did not mind. Full size kitchen with master bed /bath. Would stay again. Parking in underground garage, game room and indoor poop/hot tub.
It was very confortable, condos are clean and had everything you need.
Weekend Ski Trip
Took a weekend getaway with some friends to go skiing and play in the snow. The staff was super friendly and informative. The kitchen was fully stocked which led us to cook there for every meal, and save money! Convenient location for shops and bars. The lift bus was right out front so we were able to get to the slopes very easily. The room was big enough for us to all stay together comfortably. The bed was better than the one I have at home. The hot tubs were great after riding on the slopes all day. Covered parking and ski lockers made life easier. We were overall very happy with our stay. We will definitely stay here again.
I'm sorry about this long review, but there were just too many things wrong that I need to share... I'll just start from the day we arrived. We arrived in Winter Park at around 10am and showed up to the hotel just hoping they would allow us to check in early if the room was ready. Once we showed up the receptionist told us there were no early check ins and we had to wait until 4pm. - We would've been ok with this except for the fact that she told us they did not have a bag check and we had to take care of our own luggage she wouldn't be responsible for it. - Being forced to stay with our luggage for the next 6 hours without being able to leave for lunch because this hotel doesn't have a restaurant or cafe of any sort, we moved to a sitting area when we were then told we had to move all of our luggage to a spot where they "wouldn't be in the way" because other people have to sit too. -I will say that I could see they had a backroom that was very empty behind the front desk and if they were nice enough people to understand that we want to make the most of our trip they could've very well allowed us to keep our bags there so we could at least go out for a bite to eat! So basically after planning our New Years trip to arrive the 31st early enough to go sightseeing, we lost that entire day until we were able to check in. -When we finally check in to our room at 4pm it it's freezing cold so we try and turn the heat on as well as the fireplace and couldn't figure out how to get
The property is on a bus line to the ski area and downtown Winter Park. The condo unit we rented was ok. It was a little worn and the lighting in the bedrooms was very poor. One small lamp in each room.
Great location. Nice pool and 2 jacuzzis. Office Staff were very helpful & friendly. We had a Late night arrival and door code instructions were ready on arrival.
Great place
Great place super comfy beds
Great surprise in that there was NOT a condo fee. Very roomy. We were very pleased. Great location.
one of the beds was not good, making noise if you move, couldn't sleep well.
Very nice location and excellent room
The hotel and conditions were fine. However, on the hotel website it advertised a bar and restaurant. It has had neither for over 2 years. I feel I was duped into picking this hotel with false advertisement. I would have selected something else if I would have known that those 2 amenities were not available to me.
Unit 411 is comfortable and pristine new
We stayed in unit 411. The interior of the unit is pristine, comfortable and clean. Amazing bathtub with jets, brand new appliances and comfortable/solid furniture. Although this unit doesn't have a view (interior patio), the new/comfortable interior definitely makes it for a comfortable stay. Front desk personnel was also cordial and accommodated for a late check-in.
good place to stay
The only thing bad about it is it need a little fixing up, and may be new beds. It would help if we did not have to clime so many steps, especially for older people. Other wise it was great. The person that check us in was great.
Easy Get Away
Convenient to ski slope and just what we needed for a quick weekend with the kids. The pool and hot tubs were fun. The building itself is a bit confusing, but still a good place to stay.
🔥🔥
Very nice and friendly staff. Unit we stayed in exceeded all expectations that had. Will be staying here when in Winter Park
It was a functional and reasonably priced place to stay
There was mouse poop in one of the bathrooms and when we told the front desk it was a look of surprise and no response. The beds were soft. Though it was a functional and reasonably priced place to stay.
Affordable rest
If you are vacationing on a budget, this will do just fine. The beds are creaky and lumpy, the decor is old, but it is right next to the bus shuttle and there is underground parking on site. If your expectations aren't high, this place will do just fine.
Mold in shower and tub, dirty/stained carpet
The beds and living room were very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and I loved the filtered water. Unfortunately, the cleanliness is lacking. Showers and tubs had mold on the shower curtains and along the walls and floors. Carpet is nasty with lots of stains.
Nice condo near town
Nice kitchen, and access to pool and hot tubs. The shuttle stop to town and the ski resort was great.
Beds were awful
Room 224 Bunk bed on bottom horrible spring mattress with hole in it Bed above it one foot from ceiling and no guardrails Foldout couch was filthy, with no bed sheets
Great place for guys wknd.
Guys weekend for skiing. The place was perfect. Plenty of room in the two bedroom. Easy shuttle service to the mountain too. Make sure you take advantage of the late night shuttle to check out the town. Lots of fun. No late check out though. That was a bummer
Great Location
It was a wonderful experience. It is located at great location. Everything is close by. I saw people were getting off and on to shuttle outside the building. The view was fantastic from the balcony. The building was nice and cozy. we had great time other than an issue with plumbing in the shower which wasn't fixed fully while we were there for another night. The mattress needs to change for sure.
nice hotel, great parking
The hotel is close to the mountain and shuttle service. All parking is covered which was a very nice feature.
Silverado II Resort & Event Center | Home in Winter Park | Travala.com
Very spacious 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen and living room. We enjoyed the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and option to play pool. The bus to the ski area stopped right outside the resort entrance.
