Great stay and great snowboarding!

Not sure I would stay again

Not a fan of having to park so far away from your building and not being able to bring your skis into your room. Made for a hassle when we went to head up the hill to ski had to walk out to our car and grab our skis then walk to the gondola. Would be much nicer to just have them in your room like every other hotel I’ve been in lets you. Also when we arrived in our room there was a retainer or mouthpiece of some sort on the floor which tells me they didn’t clean the room that well.

It is an amazing resort in a nice town!

Noahs cafe has great burgers and atmosphere. Only downfall of our experience was the coffee place was closed but found a great place called The Beanery a few blocks away.

Great place for mini vacation

The hotel room was wonderful, staff was wonderful and helpful. It's a little expensive per night, but it does include the water park entry for the day of arrival through day you leave. The kids had a great time. The room had a sleeper couch and king bed, room was clean, had a mini kitchen. There are places to eat that are in the hotel area. Be sure to do the gondola ride. There are things to do near by such as a couple mine tours and tour of the Old Cataldo Mission.

Rocks would be softer than the pillows, wooden blinds that still let outside lighting shine in at night. AC never kept the room cool. Not worth the value

Room was spacious and clean. It even had dishes and a dishwasher, as well as microwave and fridge. Water park was included in the room fee, which was nice. The water park was great. For a smaller water park it had lots to keep my 8 year old entertained for at least 3 hours straight. We loved the lazy river and wave rider(surfing/bodyboarding). It was very clean and lines were short at everything in the park. We went on a Sunday night and Monday morning. Dining options were good and reasonably priced, compared to other resorts we have stayed at. Highly recommend this place for families.

Watch out for poor customer service

When we arrived they bullied us into upgrading and refused to refund my money after I had just booked… they were rude. It was embarrassing and the only reason we stayed is because we didn’t want to lose the $350. Be careful here. Rooms are great. Water park is great but unfortunately the customer service is severely lacking.

Always love a stay at the logdge!

Our experience was terrible. First, our toilet was clogged upon arrival and our drain in the tub did not work. There was a wedding that caused the restaurant to run out of food and have terrible service. Everyone seemed to use this as an excuse for terrible service and expected that we accommodate them. For the price, this was terrible service and accommodations.

It was one of the most excellent hotel stays me and my family ever had!! The hotel is really comfortable, cozy, clean, and well maintained! The access to the water park is FREE for paying customers to the hotel! Parking is free for one but you can also get additional parking pass if you notify the check in hotel attendants. We will happily go back again

The main restaurant seems understaffed. It was not half full and the wait would have been an hour to be seated at 8pm on a Saturday evening.

The rooms are modern and clean. The restaurant on the hotel grounds is outstanding. This is a great place to stay.

I didn’t realize that our reservation included access to the water park which was exciting! The room was spacious, clean, and I loved having access to the kitchenette. Having a fridge and microwave was very helpful. The hotel was really secure with key entry to the building. I would stay again!

Beds and Pillows need to be updated along with the inside of the room very outdated for the price you’re paying.

Friendly staff, good amenities, the water park access was a nice perk. We did the Friday night gondola with dinner and music ride and had a great experience. Perfect weather and lovely views. The bike lockers were especially helpful, too, and the Coeurd’alene trail is right by the Resort. Great place to stay!

Terrible place to stay, pay more and stay in another hotel. It is dirty and filthy.

Another awesome time

Silver mountain is always such a great time. I ended up with a last minute room upgrade which was significantly more expensive than I anticipated which was the only slightly negative thing but otherwise everything was exceptional. The cleanliness and water park are amazing.

Great family spot

Fun place. Great people and atmosphere. Water heaters are small so plan your family’s showers. Pillows are really hard. Bringing my own next time. Skiing and water park are love by my kids.

Nice place, didn’t use the water park passes so wished those could have just been an add on if you chose. Enjoyed the stay although only a night. Good restaurant n Noah’s.

Not really recommended.

Wonderful deep soaking tub but can't use because there isn't enough hot water, barely got to fill the tub halfway. Showerhead in room is one big stream it is so clogged. Door to patio did not lock - we had to put chair underneath each night. Bed as hard as a rock - ached each morning. They gave ONE bar of soap. Only thing good was the lady at the check-in. Very disappointing all the way around and very expensive.

It was a great place to take our grandkids. We were sorry that we didn’t know that the gondola Was closed until the day after Thanksgiving. Very nice accommodations with adjoining rooms.

This is a sleeper resort ! You cannot find a better place to stay in the pan handle.

We were impressed with the size of our room and how clean it was. Staff was excellent, too. The couch and love seat in our unit was well worn and needs to be replaced, but everything else was great. Will stay there again.

Nice clean relaxing

After driving 8 hrs. to get there, I was not allowed to check in until 5 PM. This was 6 PM in my hometown. Ridiculous! After checking in, no map was given so I had a terrible time finding the entrance to my building. Cannot describe how exhausting this was for my 75 yr. old body! This made me late for my appointment. I want a mid-afternoon check-in next time plus a map.

Amazing staff

The resort is clearly short staffed, but every single staff member we encountered was TOP NOTCH! Incredibly friendly and made the stay wonderful. Perfect 13th birthday for our son.

My grandson loved the water park and the gondola ride. I was very pleased with our stay.

Gondola ride wasnt included in the stay like pool area was .

Not sure why there is still no housekeeping yet, Covid is over. We stayed 4 nights would have been nice to have the condo cleaned and sheets changed. We got fresh towels and more toilet paper at reception but regular housekeeping would be better.

Staff was wonderful, pleasant and accommodating. Great place to have fun with family.

I always enjoy staying at Silver Mountain. With the indoor water park, restaurants, bars, US longest Gondola ride, biking, hiking, skiing and tubing - there is never a dull moment.

It is a beautiful property with clean lovely rooms equipped with all of your needs. Loved the roof top hot tubs, the outdoor plazas with fire pits, ping pong and large chess board, and my sons were in heaven at the water park!

The name of the lodging didn’t match my reservation… made finding it very confusing Morningstar Lodge…. Not Silver Mountain Lodging

One night is not enough

It was only one night, but we wished we would have stayed longer. We ran out of time to use the water park, and go on the gondola ride, but the hot tub was really nice, the restaurants were delicious, the room was comfy and cozy, and the bathroom was nice.

Water park was fun. Sad they weren’t doing a movie

There were no outside chairs, for the patio, with our room.

Quality construction and furnishings. Way too noisy with dirt bike completion and guests staying up till midnight with loud noises/arguing, etc.

I liked the location, how it sat separate from the hustle and bustle of the tourist part of the road. The view from our room was beautiful. The setting was quiet. The restaurant had excellent food and service. The drive through the park was amazing. We plan to return.

Walls are very thin, heard exactly everything next door, no privacy. Couch and chairs were extremely worn.

Not worth the money due to limited open hours

We bought it off of Expedia—-it didn’t state online the pool was only open from 4-8. We arrived and checked in only to find the room was dirty after walking with all the luggage quite a ways. My daughter then walked all the way back with the two kids and was told to wait so it can be cleaned. They told her to have me stop in I stopped in and they gave me a 10% discount and $30 off we spent $50 with the kids feeding them and playing games while the room got cleaned… 🙄

Everything was great!

Helpful and friendly staff. Good on-site amenities, especially for families. Comfortable, well-maintained accommodations. Great water park! Easy access to skiing. But on-site dining and lounge were well below par, and not competitive with other great choices outside the village.

It was absolutely wonderful and enjoyable. We enjoyed the water park and snowboarding, and hot tub. Raymond who works in the bar in the water park was not customer friendly at all and I would highly suggest to not be a bartender. He was rude.

It was great. Wish that online lift ticket purchases could be picked up before 8:15 though.

Nice stay!

My husband and I love coming here. It has been a couple years because of the pandemic and life. The property is starting to show some wear but is still nice and clean. My only complaint was the amount of unsupervised very young kids in the hot tub. They were jumping off the edges like it was a pool. And even some of the kids whose parents were in there with them were letting them do this. I don't want to cause a fight so i didn't say anything then but be a parent and watch your kids!

Rooms are nice.

The check in part was very poor I have a service dog and by the law you can not say no to devices dog buy the front desk lady told me that I need to check with my manager to see where I can put you. You need to stay at pet friendly room. The room was very old the mattress was very bad, the carpet was smelly, this is what you get for having as pet work you. Very disrespectful. Outside was full of bugs and insects flying everywhere we were not able to enjoy the balcony because of that. Very old need be remodeled and clean. Bathtub curtain had mold in it. The only part we really liked was the restaurant which is not part of the resort.

We ended up in a bigger suite than what we were booked for, so that was nice! We loved the corner suite so much, especially had lots of room for our kids and a beautiful view. The area was nice and quiet. Most all the hotel staff I talked to weren't very friendly. One of the TVs was missing an HDMI cable. After sounding annoyed at the front desk, someone brought us one so we could watch TV. The restaurants seemed quite short staffed with long waits. The food was good though I thought spendy for what we got. I took my boys to look at the gondola cars and the staff there was not friendly at all that we were there just to look. The boys loved the waterpark. I'd choose to stay there again, I just hope they are able to get friendlier staff when things get more back to normal.

So much to do and enjoy, we want to go back when we have the time. We took the Gondola scenic ride, beautiful!

My wife and I really enjoyed the water park. It was clean and very fun. We had not been to a water park since our children were young, and it was great to experience the water park fun again. Also, the room was excellent, very clean and even had a balcony for us to enjoy the fresh air.
