Enjoyed Siesta Key Palms Resort
Decided to go south for a week in the sun and found this property on hotels.com. The room was spacious with a full refrigerator and regular stove. The property grounds were well kept with two pools (one adults only). Parking was adequate and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Was able to use beach chairs and towels for the length of our stay (6 nights) There were also many food options a short driving distance away.
Poor check in.
Check in poor. No water after 14 hour journey. Reception lady forgot to give us welcome pack. Received it 2 days later!
I liked that the property had a lot of lush vegetation, kind of made you feel tropical. The heated pool was nice, but the second pool was not heated and we did not use because of it. They did not have the bar open, not for a couple of weeks, but that was fine with us. We were close to shopping and driving access towards the beaches.
lovely place to relax.
Very cute property!
Low key spot. Great for family or couples. It was beautiful.
The pool was not really heated that well other than that the experience was great....it could of been warmer based on the air temperature
Clean, well kept but older. Pools were not heated, they claimed one was.. and the $50 dollar a day amenity fee was not worth it. All there was was a pool, and bicycles...
What a pleasant surprise. Our trip was kinda last minute and while I wanted a kitchenette some of the old motel ones can be kinda sketchy. This one was GREAT! Everything worked in the room, plumbing works fine, no noise issues. Even our fellow guests, were nice, chatting by the pools. Oh and the people working there, also aces! So glad we didn't stay at a stuffy big hotel. Just out the door and you are at the pool, perfection! Private patio was nice too BTW. Already looking forward to our next trip.
Everything was clean and perfectly maintained. Such a great place to stay. Will definitely stay again!
Very clean, cute little place. Wasnt as close to siesta key beach as i thought.
Love the chill relaxed vibe
Our little gem
Amazing
Good place to stay, clean and comfortable close to many places to visit
Beautiful family owned property... clean facility, very kind staff 👌 👍
Private outdoorxares
A hidden gem! Easy walk to Siesta Key, property was cute, beautifully landscaped and full of lounges, hammocks, fire pits - all sorts of spaces to socialize or enjoy quiet time alone. Rooms were cute and comfortable and well-equipped. Facial tissues would have been nice to have. Staff were friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend and will look forward to visiting again! : )
Good
Stayed here for a couple of nights in February. The grounds are very well done, with a tropical feel. The place gas 2 pools, with the main one being heated.Unfortunately the Tiki bar was under renovations when we were there. The rooms were spacious, clean and had been remodeled. It was still are older style room feel, so don’t expect a modern hotel room. This is an older style motel resort, but the owners have done a great job of keeping the vibe there, especially on the grounds. For 2 nights, we were happy with our choice. Our main complaint with our room was the small double bed and uncomfortable pillows. The room (#1) can easily accurate a queen or king. The resort is located within a mile of Siesta Key, and there are a number of good restaurants in easy walking distance.
Cute property.
Cute!
Super cute resort nestled between lots of palm trees and bamboo. We loved it. Everyone was nice, including the repeat customers that we met. It is not on the beach but the walk is short. The only negative is she told me that there is no heat? I am not a warm person and it does get cold occasionally.
Clean with a nice kitchenette
Staff was very friendly on check in she walked us to our cottage and parking spot. Was not aware of the $45 motel tax read the fine print on your reservation
Cute little place. Well maintained and clean!
Stayed for 1 night.. staff was great.. easy drive to the village
The property was great and the staff was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful time there. Place is very unique and inviting. Very clean and a lot of spaces to relax.
Great stay. Beth
Siesta key
Cute little place. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We loved this place
Nice property and reasonable price. Paid in advance and when I arrived they told me there was an additional add on resort fee". I would never have made the reservation if I knew about this silly charge. Very deceptive bait and switch. Will not be back
Great place…
Checking in i asked about vip feature of 2 free beverages and i was pointed to a water dispenser. The room was left with dirty cups in the sink. No heat in room during a cold snap in Fl. TV didnt work, someone came to check on it and couldnt fix it. Firepit outside didnt work..would have been nice since it was so cold in our room. The resort fee was a total waste of money and i would at tne very least want it refunded. The property has alot of potential to be special but needs some attention.
The rooms was nice, comfortable bed, new appliances. I did not use the pool because it was too chilly. I would recommend it.
The place was like your own private paradise. The staff was phenomenal in every way. The property is beautiful and well taken care of.
Liked the vibe
Very quiet and relaxing! Amazing room!
Great place
One of the best hidden gems. Rooms are fantastic, the grounds are great, service is wonderful. Cant say enough great things about this place!
Great, overall experience. Women at the front desk was awesome. Will book there again.
It was exceptionally serene. Nice cottage separate rooms with private patios. I loved the sand and the bamboo that sheltered the entire resort . When you drive out of it …. Your 5 minutes from whatever you need . I met a new manager and she was delightful . Im definitely going back for maybe weekend getaway . We were there 8 lovely nights. Cynthia and Don
The resort fee is not deserved at all. Don't understand why they would charge that
This property is a fun find, right across the bridge from Siesta Key, five minutes from the beach. The facility is really cute, with all kinds of amenities. We were a little concerned after the back-to-back hurricanes this fall, but the property was perfect and Siesta Key well on its way to being back to what it was. This is a great property for families, and equally perfect for romance! This is our second stay, and we will be back!
We booked this property after reading reviews, but it was not a resort at all. As soon as we checked in, we realized we made a mistake; it had a motel feeling. My son was not comfortable there at all. We left the property as soon as we checked in. We didn't get our money refunded, as all the information on the internet is misleading.
Great Time!
What a wonderful getaway!! We enjoyed everything from the minute we got there. Property was clean and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable. We would definitely return.
Loved the place
room missing linens/bath towels.? Sofa bed uncomfortable. gate lock broken. Very nice property!
Great room, quiet and clean. Friendly staff, showed us right to our room. Nice pool and grounds
Nice resort with a unique style. It has little details around the property and rooms with a unique charm. It made me feel a tropical beach atmosphere.
I really like the atmosphere and how we were in our own paradise with our surroundings. It was quiet and rarely saw other people there. You walked outside of the resort and wanted to go back into your surroundings. Definitely hope to return next year to the Siesta Key Palms Resort! Loved it! Dawn
The ambiance was very nice. The property was lit with lights a night, tiki torches with a fire pit. Pool was heated and they had free bicycles to check out, which was really fun! The bikes are very good quality! The area is very nice, the beaches are gorgeous. The room is updated, very clean and had a cute beachy touch. We loved the private patio too! It is like a diamond in the rough. Considering the area is recovering from a hurricane, the property is very nice. The only thing they need is a little tiki bar with drinks. For the price it was a good find.
The pools are amazing!!!
The beautiful atmosphere. It was like a island
Wonderful paradise!
Our Hidden Paradise
This is the best place I have ever stayed. It truely is a hidden gem! My husband and I definitely ranked this as the best place to stay while we took a month long escape from reality.
This hotel is really cute! The space is used very well. There are 2 pools and lots of chill out areas. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and so nice.
Very nice abd confortable
We were a last minute booking due to a horrible experience at a local VRBO. They were very accommodating and saved our weekend. This little hole in the wall was nothing short of spectacular and we look forward to coming back sometime soon!
This was our 3rd year coming to this charming resort. I love the little private courtyard each room comes with. It's always clean and tidy. The grounds are so tropical. You feel like you're in key West.
Todo me encantó,el lugar está bonito ,acogedor,el estilo romántico las áreas verdes la decoración las lucecitas algo diferente y privado ,tranquilo yo me pace dos noche con la familia dos niñas y le encantó serca de la playa restaurantes bello
Really cool place, wish I could have stayed longer.
great service, very professional and kind staffs
Disappointed with my stay
I was dissatisfied with my stay. The room was dirty and the towels had stains. The beach is not close by so the only place to relax was their tiny pool. Personally I don’t get all the good ratings.
Great place to stay, excellent vacation spot
Love the place. It's perfect for our getaways. Only problem was that with the heavy rains, the gutter above our door was clogged and we had a waterfall when getting out. It also left a 4 inch deep puddle there. The rain is not their fault but the gutters can be taken care of. The adults only sections are nice, not that i don't like children, but make for a peaceful areas. Its convenient to getting to the many areas of interest. We will be back but ask fora different room. The door ajoining to another room provided no sound barrier. We were able to hear the entire conversations from the neighboring room.
This was an amazing surprise to experience this wonderful little gem of places to stay You rarely get to say everything about your hotel or travel experience is great in all ways but i would have to say that this was in every way . The staff are lovely and caring and will ask you daily if there is anything you need . The property resembles 3 different dream vacation destinations like being in Bali , Can Cun and Key West without the ocean outside your door it has the feel of all these locations . Hidden off the main road you don’t hear traffic noice or anything else but the cool chill spa hip lounge music playing daily in the background . Every room has a cute beach decor and immaculate rooms to boot with all the amenities for a 2 day stay or 4 days like myself . Traveling alone often feels lonely but not at this warm Boutique Hotel . I’ve traveled to all the above locations and for the price while visiting Siesta Key you can’t go wrong . Getting around is easy without a car as i used their beach cruiser bikes daily just a quick cycle over the bridge to the stunning Siesta Key Beaches or a quick walk to take the trolley into Siesta Key Village
Had paid in full then when we get to hotel they arbitrarily charge another $200 resort fee. This is stealing.
It was a great, quiet place to relax and spend time with the kids in the pool. The downside was the mosquitos in the room, which were terrible and kept us awake at night. This is the only downside for this hotel.
5 stars are not enough to rate this beautiful property. It is worth every penny.
The whole prooerty is very private with tress surrounding it, we couldnt even tell that we were located on a busier street. There were complimentary bikes and beach chairs to use which was really nice, we spent the whole day biking to diffierent locations. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the pool temperature, sadly. After coming back from the beach all we wanted to do was relax in a nice cold pool but because it wasn't chilled and we are in Florida the pool felt like luke warm bath water, it was more refreshing to rinse off in the shower next to the pool. Other than that the stay was amazing and i would most definitely recommend it and return for another getaway.
Wonderful
Super adorable place. We t with my son and husband. So many amenities offered. We will definitely go back!
Laid back property with beautiful grounds and friendly staff!
Great employees
We will be back!!Beautiful and friendly
The property was amazing! Such a great stay, the staff especially the younger gentleman at the front desk, was fantastic! Had a lovely time, would definitely recommend it here!
The place is clean but has a musty smell. Could be the wall unit AC not central AC. The pool areas need some work. Adult pool not clean
This place is absolutely adorable! Will definitely be back
Perfect
It’s nice
You would never know it is right off of the main road. It is so lush and tropical. Feels like I’m on vacation even though I live in the area.
Great stay with laid-back vibe
We only stayed for one night but I really enjoyed the amenities and the laid-back vibe of the hotel. Multiple "chill zones," fire pits, and hammocks as well as two pools. They also have bikes guests can use, although we didn't have a chance to take advantage of them. The check-in process was smooth and the staff member on duty was very friendly. One thing to note; there is additional parking around the corner. The main parking was full when we arrived, which made us a little nervous at first, but it worked out fine. The only downside was the bed is very firm, which some people may like but it was a little too hard for us. The property is a short drive from Siesta Key Beach and Siesta Key Village. Overall, it was a great mini vacation.
Wonderful stay!
Great stay, wonderfully kind & attentive staff. This is our second stay & I plan on returning.
The amenities where great the room we had was very outdated the fridge and freezer and microwave and lamp all hooked up o same outlet and the lamp started blinking when we used microwave thats a hazard the room way to small its a motel not a hotel because the rooms arent in good condition
Staff was great. Top notch
The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with the accomodations and location. It was very easy to enjoy the Sarasota area.
Great vibe!
We had a great stay at Siesta Palms Resort. The room was very comfortable and the resort was amazing!
The ambiance and the only thing I didn’t like was the people next door fighting at 2:00 am
It was really serene
Very Relax and Lovely Place quite and beautiful.
5 stars
Staff is wonderful. The landscaping is amazing. We definitely recommend and will be coming back
Great don’t tell anyone
The property was great. Lovely landscaping in an unexpected setting being right off a main road. Having towel and beach chairs available was so nice to be able to utilize!
My boyfriend and I thought this hotel was so cute, we loved it! The rooms was very clean, had a beachy feel which fit the theme- also it had a little backyard which was very nice to hang out in the evening. The staff was super accommodating and welcoming, and gave us a little tour of the property upon arrival. The property itself was very charming with a tropical feel, and plenty of spaces to hang out. I wish we stayed longer so we had more time to hang out at the pool or by the fire pit. We rented jet skis which was only a 7 minute walk, and the beach only about 10 more than that. There are restaurants nearby also, but I think it's worth taking a 10 minute car ride to Siesta Key Village which has really nice restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel does bicycle rentals for free as well, but we didn't have a chance to take them out, as we were limited on time. I would definitely come back here if I ever visited Siesta Key again! Thank you for having us!
The staff was amazing and the location is beautiful!
It was hard to figure out how to set the air conditioner
Nice place to stay
Nice place
Amazing feels like your in exotic place without having a past port definitely one I will visit again

Nice baby moon spot
Adorable boutique hotel for a reasonable price. All of the staff was friendly. I was able to borrow beach chairs for the duration of our stay. They also have bikes you can borrow, but this was a baby moon so biking was a no go. The hotel is less than a mile from the beach, so walkable/bikeable if you aren’t in your 3rd trimester. It is a short drive to Siesta beach where there is a ton of free parking. The only complaint is the road noise at certain times of the day. This is due to the location of the hotel.
