The property manager was quite rude and not at all helpful. I had booked a ground floor with spa unit as i have some mobility issues due to having a bad knee that is due replacement, on arrival i was told that we had an upstairs unit, i questioned this and said i had booked a ground floor unit and he told me i didnt. After managing to get our stuff up stairs i managed to find my booking confirmation saying i had indeed booked a ground floor unit and went back down to reception to raise this again only to find the office closed as it closes at 4pm (2 to 4pm manned check in). So we made the best of it and enjoyed our unit, all be it with a struggle to get up and down the stairs to go out for a meal. The next morning, i went down to the office to again speak to the property manager about our booking (we had booked for 2 night's) i showed him my booking confirmation and was completely brushed off. He was quite rude and condescending about it and stated that was only a request not a booking confirmation (not what it said on my paperwork. He basically told me it was tough luck and would just have to deal with it. As someone who works with a lot of clients with physical limitations i would not recommend this place at all to anyone who has any physical limitations as even if you do book a unit that should be suitable (they have multiple different booking options when making your selection) there is clearly no guarantee that you will get the room you book. Managment dont care.

Excellent atmosphere and food choice

I like presentation, cleanliness, everything in the apartment. My only problem was no pool.

We always find Seashells a fabulous place to stay. The apartment and grounds are great because we have dining options with Caves house nearby and the kitchen facilities. Also it’s an easy walk to the Yallingup beach. We were also appreciative of an early check in as we were finishing a 5 day stay through Caves house apartments and starting a 2 day stay with Seashells. As they had a vacancy from the day before we transferred our belongings before midday to the nest apartment.

Love the location and outlook. Lovely grounds at Caves house. Being next to Caves House is great for evening meals. The overall cleanliness was good. Would be nice to have towels changed every two days and also shower curtain was very discoloured at base. Preferred having movies to choose from. Not having access to staff on a Saturday afternoon and until 9.00 am in morning was a negative.

Comfortable accommodation in convenient location

Very comfortable accommodation would have been happy to stay longer than the 3 nights I was there. Loved the spa bath at the end of a busy day sightseeing. Being adjacent to the Cave Hotel is an added benefit lovely grounds and great food and can walk through to get to the beach. Great base for the Margaret River region.

Beautiful property, rooms were amazing with everything you need. Nice balcony, we had breakfast on the balcony listening to parrots, best way to wake up.

A great location and the room was neat and tidy with lots of amenities. I didn’t like the lack of communication when I organised for a rollout bed in the room. I rang Seashells 3 times during the week before and on the day I was going to ensure I had the bed and they failed to inform me there was extra costs for the rollout bed. The rollout bed was very uncomfortable and not worth $40 a night Seashells charged me. Extremely disappointing knowing how much I paid for the 2 night stay. The accommodation was advertised for up to 3 people.

Wonderful balcony views of the beautiful gardens. Pathways through to the beach. Right next door to Caves House. Excellent location for exploring the Margaret River region.

An absolute Gem of a Hotel, quiet location, central, to all the places we went to visit, Hamelin Bay was furthest to see the Rays and Skate. The Cave House next door was excellent for a cold beer after a Day out and NOT noisy at night. Coffee and nice pastries available at the General Store over the road for Breakfast Rooms were immaculate and every need had been though of. Will definitely stay there again next trio to Australia to see my Daughter

Seashell is a great place to stay. Clean and tidy. Staff is friendly too. Late check in can be done via key collection at lock box.

Beautiful accommodation, a place to remember

Very impressive. Beautifully designed, decorated and equipped 2 bed 2 bath apartment, spacious, spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable. Includes washing machine and drier, desk, large and private covered terrace. Free parking at front of apartment. Next door to Caves Hotel for drinks and dinner, and to a small general store where you can buy food to self cater (limited selection) and to a bakery and to a bottle shop. Located close to Dunsborough and local attractions. Would not hesitate to stay here, it's quite special.

Good Stay

Good accommodation, reasonably priced and clean.

One small issue, when booking a taxi, make sure you get a quote first, prices are outragous.

This place is like a hidden gem. The room I got was spacious, clean and had two TVs! Free movies on demand would be handy on rainy days. The local pub offers a great selection of dine in and take away food. There’s also a fine dining restaurant next door. I didn’t get much time to check out the local amenities but will be back for personal trip.

Mini Break

We stayed at Seashells Yallingup for a mini break for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We were given a late check out and had the most wonderful time. We enjoyed dinner at Caves House next door which was delicious. We will definitely be going back.

Hotel awesome Hotels.com not!

The stay was amazing beautiful place beautiful accommodation but dealing with hotels.com is terrible they are not in Australia but Arizona USA which made communication difficult and the time difference makes it tedious.

Clean ,spacious, close to everything . Nice staff and the cave house pub is great.

The location is fantastic with a bar, restaurant, general store and bottle-shop all available close by. The room was large and very comfortable. Our only issue was communication with staff after hours when our room keys failed to work. It took 20 minutes for anyone to answer the after hours phone and then another 20 to get someone on-site to help us. Apart from that it was wonderful.

Relaxing & Serene

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at Seashells Yallingup. Our outlook was serene and restful. Our accommodation was very comfortable & we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days here.

Our one bedroom unit was spacious and comfortable with quality throughout. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfy lounge to watch a great range of free movies. Lovely garden location. Only thing I could pick was the scratched condition of the wooden bathroom benchtop.

Stayed in 1 bedroom apartment, with necessary amenities provided ie. Kitchenette, pans, pots, utensils, small dining table, fridge, oven, microwave, washing/drying machine. Love the living room and how the tv provided all sort of movies. Big bedroom and toilet. I love the quietness and near to nature environment that the accommodation provided. Staff was also prompt in reply as i had to check in late. Instruction was clear and easy to follow. Will be back again to stay if i goin to explore magaret river!

Loved our stay, very clean, beautiful gardens, easy 5-10 min walk to beach. Could hear kids running in the apartment above us but we would return to stay at Seashells without a doubt.

Terrific location for Yallingup/Margaret River

Seashells Yallingup was a treat on our 2 night stay in a 2 bed apartment. Well equipped kitchenette and comfy beds. We were in the garden wing with balcony overlooking a lawn area where many birds visit and roses in bloom. . An alert that access to Apt 102 is only by quite steep brick paved stairs. Had lovely meal at Caves House next door, and the German bakery 2 minute walk away had unreal cakes and pastries.

Loved everything about it except the horrible smell that seemed to come every now and then when we were sitting outside. It made it difficult to sit and enjoy the balcony. Hopefully they fix this problems soon so we can come back.

Large well appointed rooms with beautiful outlook onto the gardens. Really a pleasant surprise how lovely it was! Attending a concert st Caves Housr so very convenient.

Love coming to Seashells as great location for excursions down Caves Rd to wineries / restaurants. Rooms are nice and spacious is what we like most.

Winter escape

Seashells Yallingup exceeded expectations. Every thing was as described. Our one bedroom apartment was very spacious, very clean and very comfortable. Had a huge balcony, with a lovely view. Plenty of parking. Lovely bathroom with separate bath and shower.

Very spacious suite with excellent features for self contained living and walking distance to the Caves House hotel for meals, drinks and live music. The only slight issue was the small size of the fridge.

Clean and tidy great location. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Seashells Yallingup

Started with a phone call to say our room was ready, before we had arrived. Then a text message with details if we were going to be late. All in all a nice place to stay. Beds a bit hard, but great ambience.

Nice place bt not if you have plenty of luggage

Rooms were great with good location only downside is the flight of stairs that we had to struggle carrying the luggage down as we had 2 elderly and 2 young kids! Other than that, everything was great!
