great property staff always willing to help with a smile not as close to the train station as we thought but still walkable enjoyed our stay

Really enjoyed the privacy as well as the balcony/courtyard view that our room offered. Having a mini fridge and sink and kitchenware also made it convenient to store and prepare some simple dishes to dine in when we were tired of dining out all the time. Property had laundry facilities too, which were much appreciated. It was close to the train station, and was within walking distance to tram and subway stops.

Great accommodation - disappointing food

Excellent stay - I had stayed in Locke hotel Lisbon previously and loved the vibe so wanted to try this one out. Very central and close to both city centre and central station. Spacious flat with good amenities, comfortable bed, yoga mat, kitchenette. Smart TV and lounge area. Very friendly and helpful staff - only thing that sadly was a disappointment was the restaurant food. I had high expectations as the food in Lisbon was first class but the carbonara in Bambula was tasteless and an odd texture - would not recommend eating here based on this which is sad as the restaurant and bar decor is lovely

Property was clean and easy to find. Really liked the location and the reception was amazing and kind. Room was very clean.

Good hotel to stay at. Breakfast, though, was too expensive.

The receptionist was smiling and completed the procedure in one minute and did the check-in procedures at 12 before the appointment. Check-in is at 4. The room is large and has a dining table and kitchen appliances for living. I recommend this hotel apartment for those who come on a business trip for two days or more. 5 minutes walk from the main train station. All the stuff there very friendly

Great place to stay

We just spent 2 night at Schwan Locke whilst visiting to watch a football match. We arrived after midnight and were greeted by a friendly, helpful and efficient reception team. The rooms are clean, modern and had everything we needed for a short city break.

It was good experience, the staff(Daria, Mila and Demi) were very friendly and helpful and made the stay better and easy for us. The room was nice, clean and lots of space. Would definitely recommend it for people.

Fantastic rooms (highly recommend getting a balcony!), great little kitchen, super quiet, very friendly and helpful staff. Great neighborhood, not far train station (10-15 minute walk) with all kinds of Greek and Turkish restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and convenience stores all nearby. Highly recommended, definitely would stay again!

We selected Schwan Locke per great reviews to be near an event close to the area and we were very pleased with our choice! The staff and rooms were amazing! Very cool vibe, super easy garage parking if you have a car, and great accommodations. The suite we stayed in had a great little kitchen and a super fun banquet for in-room meals or games. Amazing HUGE terrace provides great outdoor space and a nice view! The walk to shopping and old town is about 18 minutes so very convenient. I would stay here again!

Room was spacious, comfortable, clean. Nice to have kitchenette which was fully equipped. Staff very accomodating and friendly. Slightly awkward to access gym through parking garage.

Great hotel and AMAZING Rooftop Deck Room! Also Dejan was GREAT! He helped us so much with laundry, service, and when my wife became ill our last night, he helped and got us sparkling water for her stomach. The Rooftop Terrace rooms are killer!!! Room 602 was AWESOME!!! GREAT location for October Fest or any event at the October Fest grounds, the Theresienwiese. Also great grocery stores 8 minute walk, and the subway is 1/2 block away! The restaurant had zero gluten free options, and is owned by a 3rd party. Overpriced drinks at the bar, but good service.

Nice hotel

Great staff and location for Christmas Markets!

We wanted to be close to the Christmas Markets in Marienplatz, which was 2 train stops away from us. We were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves walking distance to Tollwood, a more hip and non-traditional Christmas Market with lots of food tents, cirque acts, live music, and more. The staff at Schwan Locke was very welcoming, and they even hosted a free opera night in the courtyard, which we enjoyed from our room's balcony. It was chilly in our room, so the hotel gave us a heater for the week, which helped a lot. We liked being right around the corner from a train station, but it was just as easy to order an Uber at the front door.

Property inside was amazing lovely style and the room was brilliant, had everything you need however, on Saturday nights be prepared to a heavy bass and noisy night as the restaurant above plays music all night long did try ringing the front desk but the music only got turned down a smidge. And yiu can hear people walking above you. There was no bottled water in the rooms and no information on if you could drink the tap water. But only this that let’s this down is location which the can’t change really and the noise

Excelent stay un Munich

Great location a stones throw from Munich Hbf (well.. one underground stop) and a short 2 min walk to the hotel. This in itself is a wonderful modern and clean property with extremely helpful and friendly staff. I will certainly rebook, the next time I am in Munich

Decent location, clean rooms, hard pillows

Stayed for three nights with a friend to explore Munich. Very clean apartments, good little kitchen. Nothing like salt/pepper/oil for basic cooking so keep that in mind. Beds were very firm and the pillows even worse. If you’re used to anything soft you won’t get that here. Rooms were also very warm, couldn’t sleep with the doona on at night unless we opened the balcony door. Apparently they’re swapping over to heating the building from cooling and the concierge said it was helpful to know that they need to lower the heat. The people who work there were extremely helpful, gave lots of recommendations when asked. Only other flaw is that the entrance has four steps leading up which is annoying with suitcases. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Love it I will give this hotel 4 1/2 stars I’ll recommend to anyone if I come back to Munich definitely I’ll stay in this hotel ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great place! Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff was awesome; great communication and very helpful. No daily cleaning service, but we didn’t need it anyway. However when we ran out of TP, housekeeping came and left it for us. No stress. Really excellent courtyard and the barista was wonderful for our morning coffees! This was by far my favorite hotel in our 2 week European vacation.

Great property and great amenities. Unfortunately I had some silver fish in my room which means there is a moist spot in the room. Had to kill like 8 of them.

Can’t recommend this place enough was absolutely perfect from the apartment to the staff to the location. We really loved it had everything we Needed was perfect for making breakfast before going out for the day. Walking to distance to beautiful attractions transport very close for going further a field

Good hotel for the price

We stayed at the hotel for one night and picked it because of its proximity to the train station (a short 7 minute walk), the reasonable price and the reviews. Overall we were happy with our stay. The staff was nice and helpful, bringing extra towels and body lotion when I messaged them (all communication is done through WhatsApp). The room was clean and worked out fine for our stay. It was a little small (including the bathroom) and the layout was slightly odd. There is a large seating area and a kitchenette but the sleeping area was tight and there was no closet space. We didn't have a chance to explore the neighborhood that much since we were only staying for the night but there was a beautiful cathedral down the street and lots of good restaurants in close proximity (we ate at Zur Festwiese for dinner). I would recommend it for a 1-2 night stay but anything longer and it could feel cramped.

Very high price, even for Oktoberfest. I must check myself in. No housekeeping. Not a great Breakfast added 20 euros. Room, shower, fine. Nothing extra. Low service for the price. only good news, Convenient walking to train and the Oktoberfest

It was a great location for our visit.

It was very well equipped, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We appreciated the kitchen and the space, and we liked having laundry facilities in the building, although the washing machines did not work terribly well and the drying feature didn't work at all. Overall we would stay there again.

I love my stay at this location, it’s well located and the apartment is gorgeous. All the amenities are included there’s a washer and a dishwasher. The staff is awesome and I also stayed at the Berlin location. Will definitely stay at a Locke location in the near future.

Great communication- messaged on WhatsApp to see arrival time which I thought was fantastic. Staff were so friendly & helpful and apartment was spotless and in a great location. Great amenities in apartment, loved the layout and style of it. We will absolutely be back!

Comfortable and very stylish stay in Munich

We had a lovely stay at Schwan Locke in Munich. Very comfy bed and everything was lovely and clean. The cafe downstairs was gorgeous with good coffee. There is no public transport between the hotel and the Munich Hauptbahnhof, so be prepared to wheel your luggage. This didn't bother us. The only other draw back was that there weren't really any restaurants close by unless you wanted to eat Middle Eastern food.

Loved that your hotel room felt like a mini apartment with all the amenities. So close to everything (10-15 walk) or the nearest underground station is a few minutes walk away. I’ll defo be coming back!

Great place

Had a great stay. The co-working space was great as was the gym. The bedroom was well appointed and stylish. My only complaint was that there isn't controllable air conditioning. We needed to borrow a fan from the desk and that wasn't really enough because I would wake up soaked in sweat every morning (stayed in August).

The room was neat and modern and large.

This was just as depicted in photos! For me I found it very walkable to everywhere and close to train station too for trip back to airport. Liked having the kitchen and they were very helpful in providing extra linens.

Great Stay! Nice location.

The accommodations were perfect. We enjoyed a larger room (506) for our 1 week stay. Our balcony was huge and very enjoyable (I believe there are only a few balconies this size but it looks like all rooms have a small balcony). The bar/entertainment area off the lobby were under construction and were not open. However, there is a very spacious courtyard which is a nice place to hang out.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. My room was spotlessly clean and very spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The in-room kitchen was extremely convenient and well-equipped, making meal prep a breeze. A special thanks to the staff for the unique touch of providing drip coffee in the room – it was a delightful start to my mornings. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

Birthday trip

We loved our 5 night stay. Great location. Walkable to the main train station and to the main attractions in Munich. Room was a perfect size, great to have the kitchenette and living space. The balcony was a treat to have. Small gym and washing machines came in handy too. The coffee bags are delicious and loved the bathroom products! The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a REWE supermarket about 5/10 mins walk away which was perfect for bits and pieces. Would definitely stay here again.

Many rooms have a balcony, and the inner courtyard is so peaceful. It's in easy walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof.

Schwan Locke was the perfect place to stay in Munich. It was clean, the staff was helpful. I loved that we had our own kitchen and there wasn’t daily maid service to worry about. The WiFi connection was great too. The only drawback was the neighbourhood. It was very close to plublic transport and felt safe during the day, but there was a strip club a block away - it just didn’t feel like somewhere you’d want to be walking around late at night.

Chose this property because we were traveling with our 3 year old grandson. The courtyard and dining areas all provided some extra space for him to play when we were at the hotel. Had a great experience. Using What'sapp makes it so easy to communicate with hotel staff. Staff were super responsive and stay was excellent. Super walkable to hbf and local trains

This was a nice boutique hotel and walkable to many places.

Nice place, the breakfast could be better a couple more options. The TV did not work the whole days, when I arrived the told me that it was because the rain, but despite there was no rain the following days, the TV did not work. There was no A/C and nowadays it is needed. in any case you should consider some ceiling fans. There was not body lotion in the room. The coffee system you have in the room is not the best, I would rather use the soluble one.

Lovely room, lovely people

We really enjoyed our atay at Schwan Locke in Munich. The room was spacious, and we really appreciated having the kitchen and guest laundry. The staff are amazing, and very helpful. We ended up staying 2 more nights because we were so comfortable there. Easy walking distance to many places, including the central train station, Theresenweise and Augustiner-Keller Biergarten.While orher reviews have complained about no AC, our room was a constant 19C, a real plus for sone super hot days! We look forward to our next stay!

Nice convenient apartment

Nice studio apartment, equipped, little balcony, comfortable overall Laundry facilities were free and a plus to pack light and wash and dry clothes Don't know why, but the hallways and stairs smelled a little like trash sometimes. Wondering why! Just a point for them to take note Staff was very attentive Area is full of enjoyable and delicious food, mostly middle eastern cuisine. Very close to the station. Convenient. Super nice church nearby not to miss! I would Def go back

Stay for 3 days, no housekeeping, have to request to get fresh towel. 5-6 washer and dryer available free for use.

The apartment was fantastic. It was clean and close to everything. It is located on a vibrant street. If this is not bothering you, that's your place. My favorite thing was the mini kitchen. On rainy days, we had easy dinners at the apartment. I would stay there again.

Not recommended for a short stay. Staff is very nice and helpful. Property itself is grey but they don’t clean the room till a week. Also keys very dominated by one community all around and no diversity in dining and groceries. Dirty and noisy area around. Near the train station

Good, Very Practical Option

Very good apartments in useful location near the underground and central trainstation. Comfort could have much better if hotel heating was functioning well and the kitchen and bar facilities were operating.

Fab, modern hotel. The area feels a but run-down, but the hitel isn’t - and is convenient for city centre/transport. Useful if you want to do some basic self-catering.

What a great find. Easy walk to Munich HBF and town center. Safe neighborhood with lots of great restaurants. Hotel is brand new, clean condition. Front desk staff always there and always helpful.

Great hotel and a fair price in Munich

A couple of small issues like a slow drip from the sink, the air conditioner wouldn’t work and we couldn’t figure out the towel heater. The towel heater was later explain so that was our bad and the drip wasn’t that big of deal. The hotel was much better than anticipated and the staff was wonderful!

Great location and very well equipped rooms

The property itself was fine. The room was well appointed, but on the small side. It could use more drawer/closet space. They say they have a gym and laundry, but we followed the signs and it led us through the garage. We never went beyond that since our keycard would not let us back in. It’s conveniently located to the subway system, but there was construction in the area and late night noise. Not many good restaurant options in the area, you’ll have to either Uber or subway it elsewhere. People were very friendly and helpful.

People was very friendly, great service.

The room, although non-smoking, had a distinct smell. The faucet dripped the whole time but we were told that those are in process of being fixed. The temperature in the room was a bit too warm, but that’s a personal preference.

All amenities in good condition. A very quiet hotel. Even though it is close to the main train station, it is in a side street and there is not much traffic around. The staff is very helpful and kind.

The apartment was trendy and well designed. Fitted out with all your needs to cook and dine if you feel like a night in. Spacious for 2 with a balcony to sit and enjoy the fresh air. Chromecast was a great addition. Made use of the gym and laundry which were both well equipped. Modern appliances were great. Coffee in the lobby was also delicious. Will definitely be staying at their other hotels in the future!

Excellent staff. Property needs attention.

The hotel doesn’t have any sort of climate control. The room doesn’t have any sort of ventilation other than the windows. Which, facing the street, let all the noises of the city come in at night. So keep that in mind when booking. Also the hallways/corridors don’t have any ventilation. The bathroom door had missing towel hooks, and the damage was visible (see attached pictures). The toilet was leaking but could not be fixed on a Sunday when we found out. We were not offered another room. Luckily the door to the bathroom was well insulated and we couldn’t hear the noise all night. Also the faucet of the in-room kitchenette sink was leaking, luckily there was a sponge that could be used to stop the noise of the drops hitting the metal sink like a drum. The room door closed shut really well and with excellent noise insulation, a rarity these days. We didn’t hear a sound from other guests. The staff was otherwise excellent, and with the Lufthansa strike and having to leave a day early they refunded us the unused night without any reservation. The place is located next to the subway and a 10 min walk from the main station. Based on the above though, I would think twice before booking it during any warm month and if sleeping warm. I cannot imagine how hot it the room can be in summer with no way to cool it down.

Great lodging, great location!

Very clean, user friendly room with all kitchen amenities! Comfy bed, sitting areas! Perfect location for exploring the city, nice diverse neighborhood with good reasonable restaurants, grocery stores. Staff are outstanding! Friendly, helpful! As a solo older woman traveler, all these fine qualities were especially welcome!
