If you are visiting HUS hospital, this is the right place to stay! Supermarket is just right downstairs and you can get anything from there! The laundry is for free and the detergent is built in!

The hotel is clean , breakfast is ok , but definitely overpriced for the amenities. There is no gym , no ironing board or iron , rooms are small.

Very bad coffee with No Fresh Milk. Amazing! Only small single services milk tetras. The quality or coffee and lack of fresh milk cannot be for given. That is the key element of any hotel breakfast. Also, some elderly lady wanted to ask something from the restaurant servers, who did not spoke Finnish. Again not acceptable when considering elder people cannot speak english, basically meaning there was No Service for them.

Relaxing Family Accomodation

Reasonable value and facilities that the family enjoyed. Helpful reception staff. Breakfast lounge mostly helpful though could be more family friendly..

close to tram stop but still not close to city. supermarket is closeby but the selection is bad. toothbrush and others need to pay. hotel is not cheap.

Poor heating in rooms

Poor heating in rooms, only heats room when card is inserted, arrived late on a Monday and took ages for the room to warm up. Restaurant just average.

Great for business stops

Great location for my job. Convenience in the hotel--USB chargers next to every outlet, so no need for adapters. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and always helped me get a cab. There is no printer in their business center, but the reception staff told me to email the documents to him and he would print them. He did so, and delivered them to my room. But, this is of note if you will need to print a lot. I'm heading back and will stay again.

Usual Scandic quality

I booked this hotel as it was walking distance to where I was working. Check in was fine - the staff are friendly and all speak perfect English. The room wasn't huge but then it was just the basic one, perfectly adequate though and very clean. All amenities worked as they should, the Bistro food was excellent and it's just a short tram ride into the city if you want to go there. Highly recommended.

A great place to stay....

I had to stay at this really well run hotel as my wife was in the nearby Meilahti hospital. Everyone at Scandic Meilahti couldn’t have been more helpful & welcoming. Thank you.

Great option for business

The hotel was clean and comfortable with helpful, welcoming staff. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of options including free-from, the fruit selection was particularly welcome. The location was very handy for the exhibition centre and there is a supermarket next door for any snacks/drinks needed. My only small negative is there is no kettle provided in the room but this was only a small point compared to the general impression of the hotel.

Decent hotel in Helsinki

We were otherwise pleased, but it was a bit cheap that there was a charge for the other occupant of the room even though breakfast was not included. This is not what we are used to outside Finland.

Outside city center but great connections to different areas. Rooms clean and big. But... Restaurant is at your service. Unfortunately menu turned to dull one. Service and kitchen slow (almost empty place and 30 min wait).

Great stay, good location for us

The reception staff were great! Helped us get what we wanted for the room. Were helpful with directions. We enjoyed the location because we like to walk and it was a pleasant walk to the city center. Much nicer than staying in a hotel in the center. Thank you for making our visit to Helsinki pleasant.

Nice hotel, close to tram and bus stops.

Relatively large hotel, in a quiet part of Helsinki, close to 2 tram lines, bus lines; easy to reach city center. Breakfast is not worth the 18 Euro if the price is not included in your room rate. Reception area rather small and no pleasant place to enjoy a drink.

Wonderful.....

Everything a hotel should be....friendly efficient staff....good sized room....spotlessly clean.........facilities excellent.....efficiently run buffet breakfast.....sauna ...gym......free laundry room........and a great location......tram stops right outside the hotel....less than a ten minute ride to the centre of town.

yummy frozen yogurt

Staffs at reception and breakfast hall were friendly and very helpful for me. I loved a fat free frozen yogurt from the self serving machine at breakfast buffet. There are plenty of free electric outlets in the room, more than 10 plugs all over the room & a couple of usb rechargeble ports at the bedside.

Close to hartwell arena

Very polite and helpful staff. Wide selection of wonderful dishes in the bistro. Hearty breakfast to set you up for the day.

Decent hotel, but too expensive for its offering

The service was great, stuff is very friendly, the room was clean. But, the breakfast was poor. Main thing that was missing for me is omelette and the room was a bit small for me for this price.

business stay.

Business stay, no iron in the room but a room on the second floor with 1 iron and 1 table in it. So plan in advance if you need to iron your shirt before going to work... Gym is very basic, but at least there's one! Did not try the sauna, but apparently very good. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. oh, and I forgot a designer shirt in the room cupboard...but the cleaners did not find any shirt and they check cupboards...hummm.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very very nice. We would recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again.

Convenient hotel, good value

Nice completely refurbished building, clean & tidy rooms - a bit basic but OK. Nice buffet breakfast.

Functional business hotel

To be honest there was nothing wrong with this hotel and it was a decent price but it also had no standout features.

Clean room, great staff and quiet place to stay.

The hotel was a great place to stay. The bus and tram was right in front of the hotel so it made it easier to get to different places in the city. The room was very clean and I had excellent sleep since it was nice and quiet.

Great business hotel in a location close to the city centre

Trevlig personal och fantastisk frukost, hotellet hade ett bra läge till eventet vi skulle till. Det enda som är att klaga på var att låset till toaletten inte fungerade

Jääkiekkoa katsomassa

Tulimme omalla autolla, jonka sai helposti parkkiin hotellin pihalle. Huoneemme viidennessä kerroksessa oli rauhallinen eikä liikenteen äänet pahemmin kuuluneet, vaikka hotelli sijaitsee ison risteyksen vieressä ja raitiovaunut kulkivat tiuhaan. Meidän huone oli sisustukseltaan ns. invahuone eli ovet olivat leveämmät, kylpyhuone tilava, suihkussa oli seinäkaide. Saman käytävän muiden ovien leveydestä saattoi päätellä, että todennäköisesti kaikki huoneet olivat samalla tavalla varusteltuja. Kävimme syömässä hotellin ravintolassa, jossa ruoka oli hyvää ja palvelu ystävällistä. Matkamme pääkohde oli Helsingin jäähalli ja jääkiekko. Hallille hotellilta käveli 10 minuuttia, joten etäisyys oli erinomainen. Aamiainen oli erittäin runsas ja laadukas, kaikkea ei mitenkään jaksanut maistaa. Pöytiä oli hyvin vapaana ja tunnelma oli rauhallinen.

Yksi yö

Ok yhden yöpyminen. Siisti huone, ei mitään ihmeellisyyksiä. Lämpötilan säätö oli ihanteellista - huone oli hiukan liian lämmin.

Bra basic boende

Gick bra med in och utcheckning. Fick be om att få kvitto. Ingen frågade om förvaring av väskorna vid utcheckning. Personalen hade ingen kunskap om partnergymmet. Bra bastu. Inga tops/bumullsrondeller på rummet. Frukosten ok, frukostpersonalen mycket trevlig!

Maalainen kaupungissa

Siisti rauhallinen hotelli. Valittiin sijainnin vuoksi,lähellä jäähallia ja Linnanmäkeä,joissa silloin tapahtumat kun kävimme 6.ja 7. Joulukuuta. Hyvä,runsas aamupala. Myös sauna käytettävissä.

Arvostan isosti aamupalan Gluteeniton valikoima. Heti näki missä on ja selkeä. Valikoima oli ihan ok. Saisi toki olla laajempi koska on tarjolla vaikka ja nitä

Sänky muuten hyvä, mutta tyyny ei ollut minun makuuni, melkein kuin ilman. Aamupala hyvä, henkilokunta iloista.

I didn't like the air-condition. Especially always after opening the door they put it in standard-adjustment which not is practicable. So manytimes each day I had to change this adjustment. The same problem there is with the light.

Basilare

Hotel funzionale a livello basilare; c'è tutto quello che è indispensabile ma senza alcuna poesia. Posizione piuttosto isolata e periferica ma allo stesso tempo lontana dall'aeroporto. Prima colazione decente ma senza alcuna eccellenza. Buona linea Wi-Fi.

Hotelli oli miellyttävä ja sijainti loistava(jäähalli oli tosi lähellä),henkilökunta ystävällistä ja huone oli viihtyisä. Hieman liikenteen äänet ja yläkerran kantapää-askellus hankaloitti nukahtamista. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja riittoisa. Hyvä mieli jäi reissusta

Kaikki sujui helposti ja vaivattomasti. Upeat näkymät 11. kerroksesta Helsingin ylle. Erittäin siistit huone ja kylpyhuone. Kauniit tekstiilit.

Pikkujouluviikonloppu

Pariskuntana meidän majoitettiin huoneeseen, jossa kaksi erillistä sänkyä ja varavuode. Meikkipeilin puuttuminen hotellin varustuksesta myös harmitti. Respasta olisi kuulemma saanut lainattua, mutta eipä osannut mennä kyselemään. Aamupala ihan perus hotelli aamiainen ja riittävä.

Positiivinen yllätys

Sijainti hyvä sairaalassa tehtävän toimenpiteen vuoksi. Kulmahuone oli upea ja sänky erottäin hyvä. Sauna saisi olla pidempään auki ja viihtyisämpi pukuhuone olisi kiva. Aamiainen ihan super!

Erittäin siisti hotelli, mainio aamupala. Hyvät palvelut samassa rakennuksessa: ruokakauppa, hampurilaisravintola. Lyhyt kävelymatka jäähallille. Sijainti hyvä.

Hyvä asiakaspalvelu

Asiakas palvelu oli todella ihana ja huomioiva. Kiitos siitä todella paljon. Hieman jäin kaipaamaan hotelli huoneessa vartalorasvaa. Muute oli majoittuminen todella mukava ja ihana.

Bien placé

L’hôtel est bien placé pour travailler au labo de recherche et l’hôpital. Malheureusement aucun contrôle de masque ni de certificat de vaccination. Pendant mon séjour il y avait un grand groupe de sportives. La salle de petit-déjeuner n’était pas séparée pour le groupe. Personne ne portait de masque et les tables n’étaient pas désinfectées. Si vous êtes covid sensible, il faut éviter. La réceptionniste très sympa.

Hyvä sijainti sairaala-alueen vieressä pidemmältä tullessa.

Erinomainen tarkoitukseni.

Yöpyminen oli hyvä, lähellä Meilahden sairaalaa, jossa erikoislääkärin vastaanotto.

Huone oli siisti, mutta hyvin pelkistetty ja hieman "kolkko". Toisaalta helposti pyyhittävät pinnat ja niukka sisustus ovat ehkä helpompaa pitää puhtaina. Jääkaappi oli hyvin mukava lisä! Vielä parempaa olisi jos huoneesta löytyisi vedenkeitin.

Tyynyt olivat tosi huonot.

Aamiainen hyvä ja aamiaishuoneessa mukavan väljästi tilaa. Sijainti, matkani tarkoitukseen, loistava. Autolle paikka, plussaa. Lähtiessä liikenteeseen pääsi jatkamaan suht vaivatta.

Hotellin yleisilme oli freesi, paikat siistejä, aamupala hyvä. Loistavat kulkuyhteydet, ruokakauppa vieressä ja samoin pikaruokapaikka. Lisäksi näkymät huoneesta hienot, koska huone oli kerroksessa 10.

Hyvä hotelli sopivalla sijainnilla

Ihan mukava ja siisti hotelli. Yövyimme lauantaista sunnuntaihin ja kaikki meni hyvin.

Det er et godt placeret hotel fordi 400 meter imod kysten er der dejlige naturområder hvor man kan gå i timevis, hvis man er til det.

Jeg har været der mange gange, det er et fint hotel. Jeg kender alle der arbejder der og de er super flinke. Der er adgang til meget natur skønne områder på 400 meters afstand.

Hyvä ilmastointi huoneessa ja mikä ihaninta, asiakaspalvelu oli todella hyvä!! Hymyileviä työntekijöitä ja reippaita. Tuli sellainen olo että tänne tulen vastedeskin jos tarvitsen yöpymistä Helsingissä ja tulen suosittelemaan ystäville ja tutuille. Aamupala oli hyvä, selkeästi esillä gluteenittomat vaihtoehdot, mikä on tärkeää keliaakikolle, joka minä olen. <3 Kiitos!!!

Sisustus nättiä. Huoneessa kuitenkin kylmä!! Sängyt ovat kovat.

Helt greit middelklassehotell

Dette er et helt greit middelklassehotell å bo på. De som jobbet i resepsjonen var veldig hyggelige og serviceminded. Rommene er generelt ikke så store, men du har det du trenger. Det er ikke investert i gode puter og dyner, dessverre. Sengene var gode nok. Det er en matbutikk i samme bygning som hotellet og det er kollektiv transport rett utenfor. Ellers er ikke området særlig spennende. Det tar 30-40 minutter å gå til sentrum. Det er gratis bruk av vaskemaskin og tørketrommel på hotellet.

Siistit tilat, hyvä aamiainen. Melko pelkistetyt huoneet/varustelu (ei hoitoainetta tai kosteusvoidetta, ei kylpytakkia).

Ravintola

Ravintola ei ollut auki sunnuntaina joka hieman hankaloitti iltasuunnitelmia. Toki tämän olisi varmasti saanut etukäteenkin tietoon mutta ei tullut mieleen.

Hieno hotelli

Hyvä hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla ja kattavalla aamupalalla. Huone oli siisti, mutta hiukan viileä.

Hinta-laatu suhde oli loistava. Pidin aamuateriasta.

Saimme ensiksi siivoamattoman huoneen. Henkilökunta asiallinen ja hoiti asian hienosti.

Hotelli oli lähellä Jäähallia ja muita paikkoja missä kävimme.

Hyvien kulkuyhteyksien luona sijaitseva hotelli. Huoneen koko oli positiivinen yllätys, sekä kylpyamme! Mukava majoitus ja aamupala. Gluteenittomia vaihtoehtoja olisi voinut olla enemmän, mutta kyllä sai syötyä riittävästi.

Huoneen lattia oli siivoamatta. Oven avain korttia ei ollut aktivoitu. Aamupala oli erinomainen.

Siisti ja selkeä yleisilme. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Huonoa, että huone oli kylmä ja aamiainen melko suppea.

Sekä respassa että ravintolassa oli erittäin hyvät asiakaspalvelijat illalla 15.11. Iso kiitos! Ruoka oli hieman viileetä mutta palvelu sitäkin lämpimämpää.

Siisti perushuone, hyvät sängyt, ei kuulunut melua liikentees, vaikka sijainti vilkasliikenteisen kadun varrella. Ainut miinus, wc:n lattia likainen.
