Great location Breakfast not so fantastic. Staff great
Stayed here several times, always pleasant. This time the room was disappointing. #110 is off the list.
This Hotel Is In A Great Location Walkable To The Historic Distric & Pier. The Staff & Ammeniteis Are Great. The Parking Is Pretty Tight & Room 208 Is Showing Some Signs Of Where & Could Use Some Updating.
Great location room was big and bed comfortable Lots of dinner and shopping options walkable parking is a hot mess if you have a large truck or suv
The Inn was close to the village area. We walked to dining and shopping- very convenient. The staff was very friendly. Our room was nice.
The room is nicely updated but for some reason the washroom is not,..old fixtures, etc. would think if they update the rooms why not the washroom as well?
I really enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend.
I love the location where it is located
Great stay in St Simons
Stay was great. Older hotel, but they keep it clean and tidy! GREAT customer service and friendly staff! Walking distance to everything
Location!!!!
Cute hotel, friendly staff, great location!
Well located hotel with fun kitschy beach themed rooms immediately adjacent to the downtown and water front. Quick walk to the visitor center and restaurants. Perfect spot to launch into a long bike ride around the island.
It was perfect location.. to walk to everything in the little town and right by the beach
What a nice surprise how quaint this place is and the staff are awesome and made awesome recommendations for dinner, the best I have had in a long time!!!
Very nice , breakfast buffet was a bit iffy .
Charming Hotel in a Charming Town.
Really cool, old place. Anything with character usually has its maintenance challenges, but they have done a great job of keeping up with the place while keeping its charm. Fair prices too. Breakfast was really basic breads and cereals, but was good enough in a hurry.
The Inn was very nice, and a very short walk all to downtown area, with a few restaurants/bars. The room was really nice and updated. You could also drive to other restaurants, a very short distance away. The lighthouse is right out front of the Inn. The only thing that is a little bothersome, is that the parking garage spaces, are really tight.
Beautiful quaint inn in a great location by the lighthouse within walking distance of dining and shopping. The only complaint is the room we were in had doors to adjoining rooms, so when our neighbor got up at 630 am to do a conference call so did we sounded like she was in our room.
Everything was great. Near the beach. Plenty of shopping and restaurant. Walkable
Very nice inn to stay at
The rooms need to be updated. Walls are super thin! You can hear the person turn off the light switch in the room next to you. The bathroom had mold and mildew all over the shower floor and the sink was stopped up. The paint was coming off the ceiling and the floor felt like you were going to fall through. Would not recommend staying here.
Great place.
Such a cute hotel. However I’d edit the amount of stuff in the room. There were random decretive clutter everywhere and had to find places to put it to use the flat surfaces. Also no usb plug ins or easy access to outlets. It’s 2025 and the norm. Totally would stay here every time I come down.
Parking very difficult. Room not cleaned very well. Soda left in refrig, used soap in bathroom. Floors in bathroom need scrubbing. Staff very nice and helpful. Brunch good but need some protein.
Cozy getaway
Very nice property, Staff were friendly and our room was very nice and cozy. Will definitely stay here again and also will recommend to friends.
Parking is a little crowded
Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. All within walking distance
I so wanted to give this hotel five stars just because of the location, comfortable bed, and the price. If I went back to St. Simons Island would I stay here again..maybe so. We stayed in two different rooms and both were far from being sparkly clean. We had to be moved from our first room because it was leaking into the room below us. In the first room, the off-white chair pads were so grossly stained we wouldn’t sit in them. The second room had a lamp in it with mold growing on the lamp shade! The rug was disgustingly dirty, stained and worn down. Maybe the Hotel’s just going through a phase. If they were to read this, I would tell them,”throw the lamp away. Get rid of the rug. Change out the chair pads. Hire a new cleaning crew. Fix your ice machine. Make sure your ice water is fresh with fresh fruit in it instead of tainted. Clean the stairwells when they have dirt clods in them. Send a maintenance guy in the rooms with some caulk and paint.” I guess you can tell I’ve given this a lot of thought the staff here at the hotel were great. The location was awesome right across from the lighthouse could easily walk a couple blocks and be two different restaurants and shops. We paid $125 a night so gosh, I don’t see how you can beat thatI’m rooting for this hotel to make improvements. Would love to go back and visit. It’s a great place to go if you do stay here know that all the rooms are different so do your research.
Very comfortable, attractive hotel
The desk clerk that checks us in was very professional and really knew what she was doing. Suggest different restaurants to eat from. Which was very helpfully since i came down to celebrate my birthday.
Great place and I would recommend
I liked that that lighthouse museum and the waterfront is across the street, shopping, and restaurants are within walking distance. The room didn't have a small eating table with chairs. So, we had to place microwaved food containers on our laps. The living area and bathroom floors were a little dirty. Upon leaving we noticed that there was an attempt to pry open the tonneau cover on my truck bed while parked in the garage. Signs are posted stating that the hotel is not responsible for damage to vehicles or theft.
Good experience
Great welcome from Mr Clark at front desk … super nice guy!
We had to get a refund for our room due to the guest next door screaming and banging on our wall for no reason. The rooms were full so we have to drive 4 hours away due to not having a room.
Great location. Well kept. Small bath room. No low carb and non dairy options..
Location Location Location
Beautiful location. Very dated and a bit small. Don’t even have conditioner for the shower. People were friendly and helpful.
It was near the pier, beach, lighthouse, shopping, and restaurants.
A little dated but very nice little place. Friendly staff. Short walk to everything.
Barbs review
Absolutely loved this Inn for a 2 night stay. The Inn is very clean, quaint and well maintained. I also liked the location as you can walk just about anywhere.
Right across the street from the lighthouse. Could see it while lying in bed. Room was clean and spacious. My only complaint was no hot water in the shower.
Everything was perfect.
Great Location
Amazing location, super friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable but dated furniture. Clean, but rustic.
Extremely pleased
Everyone is extremely pleasant. Very comfortable. Great location.
Don't stay here
Tv, cable in room didn't work Lost power in hotel during the night, so had no heat or water to use toilets. There was no backup generators Continental breakfast was cold, stale pastries, no drinks
St. Simon’s
Nice hotel. Great Location
Different than your chain hotels. Each room is unique. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
5 star Everything LOVED IT
Cutest little Inn on the Island
This Inn is absolutely adorable. Each room is decorated differently done beautifully. I would definitely book again and suggest to friends and family
Friendly staff and easy walk to dining options.
Place was amazing, but the water never got hot when taking a shower. Also there was a random roach in the bathroom.
This hotel should not be scored a 9. It has a pervasive smell throughout and is not clean.
Quaint and comfortable Staff were friendly and engaging
Enjoyed the stopover. Walkable to restaurants and shops. Would stay again.
Excellent
Excellent in every way!!! Will be back
Enjoyed our stay
Comfortable & convenient
Comfortable hotel in a great location!
Quaint and unique
Was really nice stay
I like the location of the hotel right next to the lighthouse-and there are a few restaurants and gift shops within walking distance. The parking is very tight if you have a large vehicle and there aren’t very many plug ins in the room- we had to move the nightstand to find one for my phone charger. Overall- a very decent place to stay
I recently had the pleasure of staying at St. Simons Inn, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. This quaint and cozy inn has so much charm and character that it immediately feels like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready with a smile and happy to assist with any needs or recommendations. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Village and pier, where you'll find great shops, restaurants, and stunning views. Being so close to everything made exploring the area so convenient and enjoyable. Overall, my stay at St. Simons Inn was wonderful, and I would definitely stay here again. If you're looking for a charming place to stay with great service and a prime location, this is the spot for you!
Convenient location
This a hotel in a convenient location. Very clean & friendly staff
Really enjoyed staying here. Great location, close to downtown and across the street from the beach. Hotel is comfortable the rooms are clean and comfortable. They serve great coffee, excellent hot chocolate and the continental breakfast is very nice.
Great location, close to the pier and shopping. Beautiful homes in the surrounding area. Very scenic!
Nice location - walking distance to the village and the sea.
Property was in great location. Very walkable to things. Room good, Bathroom functionality needed some tlc. Would stay there again.
Cute and affordable
Loved having a view of the Old lighthouse. Cozy large room. Very close to many places to eat and shop, and the dock
Wonderful inn with a great location
Small inn with a great location by the Saint Simons Island lighthouse. Every room has a different decor which gives it the feel of a boutique hotel. The inn has a super nice and very helpful staff. Continental breakfast was an added plus. I would definitely stay here again. I lowered the rating for eco-friendliness because they use a lot of bleach. If it were my hotel, I'd install liquid soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the shower to eliminate all the packaging waste from mini bottles of toiletries.
Overall a good place to stay. Very convenient to the village. Good coffee and breakfast. My only disappointment was the TV and selection of avaliable channels.
Fantastic Holiday
This was an excellent experience. The room was comfortable, quiet, and offered a fantastic view. I plan on returning.
The room was very comfortable and very nicely decorated. It had a sofa and coffee table with lots of pillows. The bathroom was really nice too. It had nice big shower. The lighthouse and museum was just across the street. The visitor center, dining, shopping, and pier was just a 10-minute walk. Fort Frederica, Christ Chapel, and other points of interest were just a short drive away. The sightseeing and holiday trolley could be picked up at the pier. The continued breakfast was great too. It had an assortment of pastries, fruit, breads, juices, cereals, yogurt, and other items.
It was quiet and very well maintained!
Extreme pleasure and location.
My sister and i walked into this amazing cozy lobby. We were in love with the atmosphere. They offered free hot chocolate, coffee, pretty much around the clock. Very clean cozy room, and very very clean. Only thing is the tv and sound needs to be updated. The staff, one woman, one man were amazing friendly. Oh, the bed was great. Stayed in room 111. All rooms are different.
Great spot near the restaurants and light house.
Good boutique style and cozy. Easy to walk to shopping and dining
If you are looking for a peaceful, clean nice, each room unique, different decoration, meet other good people this hotel is the right place, we go there two times a year
We had a nice stay, just think they should update facilities. I love preserving the old, and appreciate the character it brings, but you do have to update so that it doesn’t feel old.
Location and staff excellent. Comfortable beds. No seating option in room. Shower temp warm, not hot. In room coffee did not work?
St. Simons inn
I’ve stayed here quite a few times! I love the quaint, cottage y vibe! Excellent
Perfect
Great place to stay. Very quiet and close to the pier and lots of shops and restaurants
Friendly staff. Nice facility.
Great staff and service.
Great location
First, great lication, easily walkable to many places. Our room 217 was nicely decorated. Spacious bathroom. Bed was a little soft. Balconey door could not be opened. Door to room security lock did not work. Was not given room I reserved, so had to discuss change with front desk, which they finally gave me room I reserved. Also, question on billing which i am still waiting to see resolved. Breakfast is minimal: cereal, fruit, bread, pastries, juice, yogurt.
This Inn was in a good location, directly across the street from the lighthouse and easy walking distance to majorityof the shops and nearbyresturants. The staff was very nice and helpful. The Inn itself may appear to be dated for some quests. I thought it was nice and quaint. However, our room coild have been cleaner. Our bed was not too comfortable and the pillows were very firm.
Staff were so incredibly nice. Let us check in earlier than 4pm. Rooms need updating. Shower was not draining. Quite a bit of standing water. Bathroom sink was not draining well either. Burnt lamp shade. Marked walls. Need some sort of meat at breakfast. Everything is cold foods.
NO HOT WATER, ALOT OF NOISE...
No hot water for 2 days..."We have alot of people staying here..." LIE-no hot water at ALL times of day and night.Obviously water heating system not working. Ice cold. Based upon parking availability in garage only about 60% occupancy. Rm 217 right next to exit stairs and across the hall from the service room-very noisy with loud bangs all day and night. Changed room to 205 opposite end of hall-right next to elevator and still no hot water!! All are operational issues, the people there are very nice but have to 'cover' for bad property management. Location is good. Too bad property management can't deal with the real issues.
Good staff, not so good facility
Postive - staff great, helpful. Good breakfast. Great location. Not so good - very worn mismatched furniture, lumpy bed and pillows. Floor tiles cracked. So many things on wall and shelves that must be dufficult to dust. Dusty inside picture frames.
This hotel was in a very convenient location. It was very walkable to shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, each room in this small property is owned by a different person and each owner is responsible for when their unit is updated and the condition of the unit itself.. Each room is decorated very differently and has varying degrees of updates. Avoid room 206 at all costs. We stayed in room 206 and it was disappointing. It was decorated nicely and whoever decorated it had a nice sense of style. However, no stupid animal bite me when I talk on the phone.
We did not know that the elevator only goes to the second floor and we were on the third floor. At ages 76 and 75 we had to carry heavy items from the second to the third floor. The coffee maker was dirty, the plug for the tub would not hold water for a bath, and the water never got above luke warm. Staff was very friendly and the location was excellent. Covered parking was very good.
Very run down property. Stained upholstery, rusty refrigerator, rundown furniture, poor quality iron and ironing board, poor breakfast options. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel location was beautiful.
2 nd time stayed here and worth coming again
The gentleman on front desk duty was polite, helpful and informative. So was the young lady the next morning
Nearly perfect
Room was clean, comfortable, elegantly furnished, well maintained. Great location. Out of the 7 million pillows in the room, only one was thin enough to sleep on comfortably. We found it in a cabinet. Two would have been nice.
Nice boutique hotel in the heart of downtown and close to the water. We really enjoyed the stay. We walked around, set by the water, eat at the restaurants and took a ride in a trolley. We had a great time!
All good
It was nice, clean and location was central to our visit
An amazing stay at a terrific property. Best choice made out all my travel for the past several years. Location, room comfort and quality staff. Will stay there again!
Our stay in 302, a dog friendly room, was on 3rd floor - which required walking from 2nd to 3rd floor. which is important to know for late night dog trips out. But that is not what will preclude us from staying there again. The pet friendly room is in GREAT need up new sheets, new bathroom mirror, a deep cleaning , chipped tub repair etc. To be price competitive, much work is needed for that lovely location room. It felt shabby instead of lovely.
Location was fabulous. Easy walking to restaurants & shopping
Great location in St Simons that allows you the opportunity to walk to all central restaurants, the beaches are also walking distance. The staff were all very friendly & welcoming. Care should be taken when booking specific rooms, some are recently decorated some somewhat dated.
Nice place
