A wonderful property with great staff. We loved the ambience and warmth of the property and the location relative to the Columbia River Gorge and White Salmon could not have been better. We are already planning a return trip.

The RubyJune is a wonderful little spot. Gretchen and Chris are incredibly devoted to making your stay as personal as they can. It is a little oasis all on its own, with sweet gardens and fire pits and wine/beer in the refrigerator. Breakfast is delicious in the cozy kitchen. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our two nights in this lovely place.

What an amazing stay! The room was clean and cozy. The hosts were so friendly and helpful from the dinner recommendations, to the property tour to the breakfast experience with other guests. This is a short 10 minute drive to the town of White Salmon. Highly recommend a stay here!

B&B Perfection

We had an amazing stay at the Ruby June Inn and a fantastic visit to White Salmon. Although it snowed, it only added to the ambiance of where we were. Went to the Post Office for breakfast and headed into town to Henni's for dinner. Can't wait to come back in the spring for one of Ruby June's guest chef dinners!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property. It's truly a hidden gem. The breakfast was the most delicious! Very nice and gracious hosts.The ice room was so cozy. Bedroom with the tub was clean and spacious. Beautiful waterfall in walking distance.

We liked everything about RubyJune Inn. We were given fun things to see close by... a great path to the White Salmon River. Breakfast excellent and just what we wanted was a quiet place to stay in White Salmon!

The owners were awesome - very friendly and helpful, from info on the area to any needs for our stay. Very cute and comfortable room and the property was so pretty. We enjoyed getting a bottle of wine and hanging out in the wine bar area and then around the firepit. Breakfast was delicious and we loved meeting and chatting with the other guests. This will definitely be our go to place to stay when visiting the area.

The property was very private and quiet. The room was decorated with great taste and simplicity.

Beautiful location but not good for sleeping

Friendly owners good conversations. Lovely location across the street from river. Room was small and could hear toilets flushing in other units and conversations from room above. Room had ear plugs and noise canceling sound machine but didn’t cover the noise.

Sweet little bed and breakfast

The Ruby June is a sweet little bed and breakfast. The owners are friendly and easy going without being over bearing. The rooms are not huge, but are cozy, clean, and newly remodeled. The grounds are lovely, and although we visited in the fall, and it was rainy, I would imagine that it’s a lovely spot to be outdoors in the summer.

The setting is very beautiful, and the location in the area of the White Salmon River is wonderful!

The room was great, not by a river as the name leads you to believe. Felt check in was bumpy when the owner texted me what my dietary restrictions were but then told me when I arrived that she already planned the meal. Why ask me then, if it really didn’t matter.

Lovely and Quiet

This is a lovely B&B located across the street from the White Salmon River. The home made breakfast Connie serves is delicious and she is a delight full of information. There is a myriad of things to do in the area which is amazingly beautiful.

Pure Awesomeness

We loved our stay! Great people, clean room and a wonderful breakfast!

The host was waiting for us when we arrived, she was very friendly and provided us with lots of information. The location was great with a pretty waterfall just a few yards away. Not far from Hood River and lots of dining options. Breakfast was delicious with fresh baked pastries and individual frittata that was excellen also home made Greek yogurt with fresh fruit and granola, excellent.. The room itself was clean but a bit on the small side. No coffee maker in the room but it was available in the dining room very early in the morning, along with fresh cookies in the afternoon.

Connie was very accommodating and asked ahead of time for any dietary restrictions. Her gluten free egg casserole and danish were delicious. I ate the scones which were delicate and tasty. Connie’s stories about her family and the area were very interesting. Besides there was an owl close by! We both bought her cookbook as well. She took good care of us, thanks, Connie!

This is a delightful property, with a warm and quick welcome, lovely public spaces (picture outdoor patio with vines and tables) and a very good breakfast in the morning. My room was very clean, and well appointed. I would stay here again

This property is ideally located for white water sports. The food intentionally caters to the gluten free and vegetarian crowd (there's some non-veg. items also). I hope the new owners coming this fall carry the torch that makes this B&B so great.

Really beautiful B&B. Lovely patio area covered with sister is. Very friendly host and she makes wonderful baked goods. Highly recommend!!

The room and property were gorgeous! I loved breakfast and the historic ice house. Connie and David were very gracious and made us feel like family. They're selling the property in September so stay here if you get a chance before then.

Our room was extremely clean and cozy. The owners were so kind and helpful. Breakfast was all homemade and amazing. She even catered to my vegetarian eat of eating. If ever in the area again, we would absolutely stay there again.

The b& b owners were extremely warm and accommodating. They frequently asked us if we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were over-the-top good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Amazing hospitality

We had an amazing stay. Connie and Dave made us the most amazing breakfast and knew we would be at a my brother's wedding all day and packed us a little goodies basket so we could have a lunch. The conversation at breakfast and the care they gave us as strangers truly made us want to come back to stay. We thank you!!!

Connie and Dave are excellent hosts. They go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the food (homemade cookies, scones, biscuits, souffle, yogurt, etc) and the conversation. We would love to come and stay again in future and I recommend their B&B to others without any reservation! If you're thinking of booking a night or more with them, DO! They are very close to the Tin Roof Barn wedding venue (1.2 miles), which is what brought us to their property.

Warm and inviting!

Connie and Aaron were incredible hosts. They were so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was amazingly delicious! It is obvious the pride they take in making your stay a memorable one. Our room was lovely and the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. The location is close to the beautiful river and convenient for dinner and exploring in Hood River. We would definitely stay again.

Really lovely space removed from the chaos of Hood River proper, but a short hop away. The luxurious details (super nice bedding, towels beyond belief, jacuzzi tub) really elevate the experience. We stayed in the Tuscan Romance Room and it lived up to expectation. And the breakfast. Holy crap the breakfast. Don't miss the german rolls. Come hungry.

Great spot for using the surrounding Mt. Hood area

Owners make the place like a home. Connie and John very accommodating. Breakfast is worth the trip in itself and getting to know the other travelers, from all over, if you're into that.

Lovely property in a beautiful setting! Connie, our hostess, was welcoming and super accommodating. We stayed here the night before participating in a running event at Cascade Locks, OR and had to leave at 6 am in the morning. We would have been happy to get coffee but Connie went way above and beyond, fixing a lovely and delicious breakfast for us at 5:45 am. We hope to have the opportunity to return so we can enjoy more the area has to offer and highly recommend the Husum B&B.

We had such a great stay at Husum Riverside B&B! The bed was super cozy and the room was nice and cool. We loved being able to walk across the street and watch the rafters. The breakfast the next morning was delicious! We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Husum Riverside Bed & Breakfast! The owner, Dave, welcomed us with glasses of refreshing ice tea and showed us to our room. The room was charming, cozy and spotlessly clean. After a restful night, we were presented with an amazing breakfast! Our breakfast included a variety of cheeses and meats to pair with homemade German Bread, gluten free blueberry muffins that were yummy, scrambled eggs and bacon, some wonderful homemade yogurt and granola, fresh fruit, and wonderful large cups of coffee. The delicious breakfast and interesting conversation with the owners, Dave and Connie, got our day off to an amazing start!

Fantastic place to stay

We were on a 22 day vacation and this was our favorite place we stayed. We loved our stay! Everything was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the hosts are so nice and friendly. Our only regret is that we were not able to stay longer! If we are in the area again we will be sure to stay again.

Delightful B & B

My husband & I had another pleasant stay for our anniversary weekend. The first time was two years ago. We really enjoyed the wonderful hospitality and delicious gourmet breakfasts. The suite we stayed in was lovely and the Jacuzzi tub was so relaxing. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. We look forward to staying again.

The Sweetest Place

My husband has family in Husum but we decided not to stay at their home so that we could have some time alone. Although our stay was short (two nights) we enjoyed our room so much. The attention to detail was shown all through out the hotel, from the warm greeting to the loving goodbye. My husband is an extremely picky man, and he said this is where we will be staying every time we visit his sister! This is such a clean, sweet, warm and welcoming place.

A Trip to hike and explore in the Columbia River Wilderness

In looking for a place to stay near white Salmon for an overnight I stumbled upon this place in Husum. It was a delightful place to stop in after a day of hiking. It was a very comfortable and quiet place and the breakfast in the morning was grand. Made to order omelettes, fresh scones, fruit, and homemade yogurt and granola. I am sure gland my husband and I stumbled on this place and will stay there again!
