The staff members at Riad Bindoo were so kind and helpful. They helped to make my stay enjoyable.

This property is in walking distance of the medina and main square. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. The riad is very close to a mosque so you will hear the calls and it is a truly remarkable experience. The riad is alsi close to great local shops and restaurants.

Absolutely stunning! One of my favorite hotels ever. Amazing staff and amazing location. Easy to find. The spa was wonderful too.

Absolutely perfect.

Riad Bindoo was excellent. The Riyad is absolutely beautiful and picturesque. We have just had a 7 day stay and couldn't rate them highly enough. The service provided by Karim and Hisham was absolutely first class. Nothing was a problem. They were so helpful and knowledgeable too. The Riyad is located in a very central location, a ten min walk from the Jam el Fna, Koutoubia Mosque and the Souks. We saved a lot of money by walking everywhere. A major highlight for us was that there is a mosque literally a 30 second walk away, and a bigger mosque a 2 min walk away. We have two small children (5 and 1). They were both treated really well, and were well catered for. We would absolutely recommend Riyad Bindoo.

Amazing

Amazing stay in Morocco. Karim was attentive and able to help with any request we had and ordered us food even when the kitchen was closed. It was a short 10-15 min walk to the Souks and main square. Breakfast was good and our room was even better. Would definitely stay again

I only wish that I could give more stars!!! Riad Bindoo, in our week of sojourning about the magical, mystical lands of Morocco was--without a doubt--a highlight of our trip. We flew into Casablanca and stayed in a lovely hotel that was walking distance from the places we most sincerely wanted to visit. It was perfectly acceptable, well beyond that, really. Only, after the amazing train ride through the desert to the mindblowing heart of Marrakech, the Riad Bindoo just blew away all our expectations for what not just staying, but living, in Morocco could be. We loved the building, the architecture, the room (with amazing furniture, lighting, etc), the "invigorating" pool, the roof, the breakfast (the omelettes were out of this world), and, especially, the conscientious, warm, kind, hospitable and, above all, helpful, staff. The Riad is central to so many, many places and activities in the Marrakech Medina--we loved strolling among the souks and, especially, wandering our way into the Jemaa el Fna to be courted (overwhelmingly) to unbelievable food and entertainment each night. We traveled with our two daughters (8 & 12) and we all love love loved the Riad Bindoo--Thank you for providing such a lovely oasis for the Downtown NYC family

Our stay here was amazing! The staff was so friendly and attentive. They let us check in early and were always available to answer our questions. This place was such a nice relaxing oasis in the medina. We highly recommend!

Amazing Riad. From moment we arrived we felt welcome. Facilities fantastic. Lovely terrace to come and relax on after a day seeing the sights. Room that slept 4 people was great with plenty of room. I can’t recommend this riad more - pictures do not do it justice! FANTASTIC!!!

Beautifully exotic yet comfortable retreat

veryone was so very helpful and worked hard to make sure that we were comfortable, from arranging airport transfers, to setting up breakfast whenever and wherever we requested, and answering questions about the area (in English.) The decor was exotic and beautiful, and we appreciated the plunge pool after a hot day of wandering. The location was around the corner from a spot where cars are allowed and convenient for walking to the souks, but away from the crowds. We absolutely recommend Riad Bindoo!

Excellent Riad

What a riad stay is all about, a unique property, great rooms and homely vibe with great staff! Honestly couldn’t recommend more.

Beautiful Riad- highly recommended.

The service at the riad was exceptional.Mohammed at the front desk welcomed us upon arrival, took my (very heavy) bags to the room and was lovely throughout. The manager Hisham was lovely, welcoming and showed us a great spot on the roof to watch the sunset. Meals on rooftop terrace were delicious with amazing views. FYI closest place to have cab drive you is across the way near mosque. Contact them ahead of time to get name of mosque (blanking on name)

Really enjoyed staying in a traditional Moroccan style home (riad). Staff was friendly and welcoming. They accommodated our specialty diet as breakfast was included. I definitely would stay here again and recommend to others.

Our stay at Riad bindoo was perfect. The Riad is beautiful and kept clean. The service was amazing. We had an early flight and the staff got up at 6am to make us food and they also helped us arrange an airport transfer. The location was perfect and very centralized- walkable to all the locations you want to see in Marrakech.

Beautiful Riad

I loved this Riad. Very clean, very pretty and close (5-7 minutes walk) to all the main attractions of the Medina. Super tasty breakfast served on the beautiful rooftop of the Riad. Rooms are spacious and the personnel is just incredible. All members of the staff speak perfect English, French and Spanish (have not tried any more languages with them but am sure they speak something else as well!). Will definitely come back.

The property is beautiful and the rooftop custom made breakfast a hit. Our room was unique with loft. The staff very professional and very helpful printing airline boarding passes... The old town feels unkept and wild with scooters speeding about. Shopping for deals was fun. I felt my children and I were always safe. I certainly would recommend the Riad Bindoo to my friends. Your taxi can’t drive to the front door so a local will assist and charge to show the way which is a one minute walk.

This Riad was the highlight of the trip and Muhammad was just amazing, he always had a genuine smile on his face and really made us feel at home in the chaos of the medina. The location is a 10-15 minute to the main center and its down a little alley a little off the beaten path but well worth the price per night. The decor was

A little gem in Marrakech

What a fantastic Riad. From the friendly welcome, lovely evening meal on our first night and amazing staff. Beautiful riad with Amazing roof terrace. Centrally located in the Medina, with an absolutely amazing Spa next door. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Marrakech.

Amazingly beautiful Riad tucked away down side streets about 10 mins walk from the main square (Jemaa el-Fnaa). There is a quaint little front door and lovely little Reception area as you enter into this oasis of calm and tranquility. Our room (Benares Suite) had the most amazing double bed situated at the top of a spiral staircase and our two teenage boys were happy sleeping on the 2 single beds downstairs (which I think are usually sofas but are actually proper single beds!). We had dinner on the Riad’s rooftop on the first night (our anniversary!) for ease after a busy day - it was simply amazing! The views of Marrakesh as the sun set over the city, coupled with the superb food made for an unforgettable evening. Breakfast every morning (included) was always a feast of sweet-treats and tea/coffee/juice which was delicious and served on the sunny rooftop (or in a small dining area on ground floor if a little chilly outside) and always served with a smile. Riad Bindoo is an amazing experience not to be missed - a feast for the eyes as it is visually stunning, coupled with the friendly (and excellent English speaking!) staff made for a truly memorable 3 day anniversary/birthday weekend treat! THANK YOU!

Most incompetent Staff in the World

Worst hotel experience of my life.... They checked us in to the wrong room, then called a few hours later to inform us that we could no longer stay here despite our bags already being in the room. Turns out, they had cancelled our reservation and put us in someone else's room without checking. They then told us to go to another hotel but would not provide the address. We walked for 3 hours looking for it and eventually had to pay some kids to help us find it. Riad Bindoo said they were sending someone to meet us to help find it. We waited for over an hour, turns out, they sent the person to the wrong location with a similar name. When we arrived, they had delivered someone else's bags to our new hotel. They assured us they would bring our bags in 30-45 minutes. Two hours later, no bags. When they finally showed up, they informed us that they didn't mean to kick us out, and meant to call another group and we could have stayed the whole time. The other group booked a different room type as us, and we never got to stay in the room we booked. The level of disorganization and incompetence was astounding. A 5 year old could have done better - would never ever recommend.

Wonderful stay at this charming and beautiful Riad

This Riad and its staff made our experience in Marrakesh so memorable and so incredibly comfortable. The moment I walked in I knew that I'd be back and I am already trying to figure out when I can come back to Marrakesh and stay at this Riad again! Check in was smooth and welcoming. We were offered complementary mint tea, as custom in Morocco. All of the guidance and help we received from the staff was incredibly appreciated. From little things such as directions, to larger things such as the HUGE amount of help I received from the staff when one of the ATM machines ate my bank card, and even how the staff helped put together a cute birthday breakfast for my friend who was staying with me! It was one of the top most pleasant stays I've had while travelling anywhere in the world. The terrace was beautiful, so was the pool. In fact, every corner of the place was so picturesque! The breakfast was great, the wifi was a little spotty but not any less than anywhere else in Morocco. Big, beautiful bathrooms, beautiful decor in the rooms. AC worked perfectly, Housekeeping was done daily and done well. And the location was absolutely perfect- Just a 5 minute walk away from the Medina- perfect from taking a break from the chaos of the souks but also central and easy to travel to/from. This place was truly a peaceful and unique retreat and the staff were phenomenal.

A nice place to stay!

Nice place, well kept, and superior service.

Felt more than welcome from the moment of our arrival and were very well looked after by all the delightful staff. We had a lovely room; enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace while sipping mint tea, and thoroughly enjoyed eating there, too. (We couldn't get enough of the delicious lamb tagine.) Bindoo is also well placed and an easy, short walk to the main square, souk and major visitor attractions. We had a fabulous stay. Thank you so much. Charlotte and Suzannah (UK)

A hidden gem in Marrakech

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Bindoo in Marrakech. The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful which made our stay even better. the decor is beautiful and breakfast on the terrace is beautiful. The breakfast changes every day but the two days we were there was just some bread, butter, jam, fruits, and fresh orange juice. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had a really nice atmosphere. Highly recommend this riad for your stay in Marrakech!

The staff are very helpful and kind. The bed was very firm and on the hard side, the room could have used more lighting, the lighting was very dim and hard to see.

My stay at Riad Bindoo was amazing!!! I felt home away from home. The room was spacious clean and very well decorated, also very quiet, I was able to rest every night . The Riad is beautiful and the view from the terrace is amazing too. Perfect location, I was able to walk to the Médina every day for the 4 days I stayed. Mohamed and Karam were very polite and help me with my tickets reservations and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel

Small hotel but great service, the rooms are very unique and spacious. The staff was accommodating with our early checkout time and had breakfast ready for us very early in the morning!

A beautiful calm oasis in the heart of the city.

Riad Bindoo is a very special place: clean and comfortable accommodations in an elegant and relaxing space. The location is convenient and close to the major souks but not too busy. It wasn't too hard to find our way around. Decent internet service, too, which is hard to come by in this area. The staff are welcoming and helpful and treat you like a family member. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Bindoo was amazing! The space was extremely beautiful and beautifully designed. It was so comfortable and relaxed. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. I could not recommend this Riad enough. Wonderful!

Understand differences between Riad versus hotel

Two nights in Marrakech after a desert camel trek safari. Riad Bindoo was calm, peaceful and lovely after a zany trip that rooms two days of driving in each direction. My friend and I had separate rooms, both of which were quite clean with terrific beds. The riad itself has 7 guest rooms, with a little “plunge” fish shaped pool in its courtyard. Several people swam while we were there. There is a lovely rooftop area where we had breakfast one morning and leisure lounging one moonlit evening. Riads are the way to get out of the chaos of the medina (town center) and the pedestrian and car traffic. Riad Bindoo offered food 24/7 as well as free laundry which was a huge plus. Additionally there is a little spa literally 15 steps out the front door and we took full advantage of that. Attractive tile floors with beautifully quirky touches through the Riad. Super attentive staff, hospitable welcome, Room was ready. Welcome mint tea in reception. Seamless checkin and out. I would fully urge any guest to pre-arrange pickup and drop off transportation with Riad Bindoo. Cars can’t get but so far into the medina and Riad Bindoo is no exception. One further note: around riads: there are often “street toughs” hanging around the streets, including outside Riad Bindoo. They appear to be benefittting from the WiFi access. They may also be present to help “guide” a guest through the confusing medina. I don’t think that there are many places where you might not find such people. Be forewarned.

Amazing stay 15 mins walk from heart of Marrakech

Deceptively gorgeous Riad accessed down a side street and through a door in the wall. This then reveals a beautiful courtyard with a small but functional pool to cool off in those hot days. The room was delightful and on the first floor with a stunning view over the pool and up to the sky. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was a typical Morroccan mini feast and was served anywhere at any time. Thoroughly cleaned by their fabulous housekeeping team daily. Will definitely be returning there for a stay.

Beautiful Riad!

We loved this Riad! Although it is close to the chaos of the Medina, it was super peaceful as soon as you walked through those doors. The decor was amazing, and the staff was super attentive. It is walking distance to all the major attractions, and we even walked to the new city a couple of times for dinner. Our room was great, AC & wi-fi worked great. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a Riad experience in the Medina!

Pros and cons

Cons: 1. They left us and another couple stranded at the airport even though we'd both arranged individual pick-ups; 2. they told us we could get into our rooms early but we ended up hanging around for ages; 3. the breakfast is nice but only available at 8.30-9.00 (nearer 9) so not great if you want an early start; 4. they charged €2 for a bottle of water whereas 30 seconds from the riad you can pick it up for a quarter of the price; 5. Not always relaxing - one afternoon the staff were blaring out VERY loud moroccan music. Yes we could have asked for it to be turned down but it would've been awkward; 6. It was difficult sometimes to find staff for help. Indeed, we heard some guests having to repeatedly ring the bell trying to get in. Not great if it's late at night. Pros: 1. Gorgeous place but if you don't like small winding staircases, steer clear of the mezzanine level rooms; 2. The staff were lovely; 3. The area is great. I loved Marrakech and I'm already planning to return but I'll be staying somewhere different next time.
