I was able to park my ute and trailer onsite. The onsite Steak house was amazing.

The room was extremely quiet and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. Parking was available in front of the room. The owner was very friendly.

I had a great stay at Rest Point Motor Inn in Glen Innes. Check-in was smooth, and the staff provided some helpful local recommendations on where to eat for dinner. The room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us, especially with parking, as we had two vehicles with trailers. They were incredibly helpful in ensuring we had a suitable spot, which we really appreciated. The property felt safe and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. Would definitely recommend Rest Point Motor Inn to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Glen Innes!

Pillows were a bit hard.

Steak house is not open sundays sadly. But kids loved double bunks and swimming pool.

Easy parking, basic room but OK. Meal at the steakhouse was very good

Cosy room with everything we needed for the lay over. Steakhouse restaurant was fantastic, food delicious and host pleasant. Decor a little dated, no smart tv for family only downside. Management does need to address shower head for room 17 as it spurted everywhere going over shower door into bathroom saturating room and toilet paper.

I knew it was a 3 star motel when I booked and it is was what was advertised and pictured.

Bathroom shower was a bit mouldy. Water has a bad smell. ( may be normal for Glen Innes )

Our whole experience was great. Especially the Steak house where we had a yummy roast dinner.

The property was clean,comfortable and the staff were tremendous.When we visit Glen Innes again i will be booking at this motel.

The room was a little outdated in terms of furniture and appliances but it was spacious, clean and quiet. We had the best sleep on the comfiest bed! Overall we had a great stay! Spa bath was amazing!

An older motel but was very clean and tidy. A short drive to the centre of town. The lady at the front desk was fantastic - we will stay there again the next time we are passing through.

Excellent electric blanket, and RC heater. Real milk for cup of tea, not uht. Good parking. Good hot water. Iron, board, kettle, toaster, microwave. There was a group of us with different rooms and we all enjoyed the motel

Very tired motel. The room plus reception really had a terrible smell. Check in/check out was not very friendly. Beds were ok.

We had trouble with the air conditioning and the TV remote didn't work.

The property was in need of a renovation. It was worn-out and old. The surfaces felt sticky and the shower was in need of a good clean to get rid of the mould. The cost was far too much for what we got.

The rooms are clean but a bit dated, the staff are friendly, all you need for a good nights stay! Have stayed here more than once and it is always pleasant.

BBQ was available but was recommended not to use as filthy and not cleaned bad to have it in the web but unserviceable

One of those 70’s style motels…a little tired. The motel was chosen online due to the good ratings for the restaurant. Booked a table but on arrival we’re advised the restaurant was closed and dinner would be delivered to the room. It was lukewarm and not nice

It was great to have 2 bedrooms to accommodate our family with microwave, toaster and kettle. Also (free) use of the laundry was handy. The room and pool was clean.

Room hadn't been used or cleaned for a while dust everywhere. Friendly customer service just didn't know much about area or places to see around the hotel. Has a non heat pool. Family friendly.

Needs an upgrade.

I paid for a double room and she down graded me because there was only 2 of us. The blankets were dusty so i couldnt sleep with them. The toilet was dirty and the shower stunk of mould. I would never stay there again.

Check in was smooth, apart from when we queried being charged for the wrong room type. Front desk person offered no acknowledgment of error. Hosts park their car in main driveway which partially blocks the entrance. If someone is leaving or checking in when you want to go in or out, you can’t. Very sub-par room. Stale musty smell, piece of fabric (not a curtain) which only covered part of window outside the bathroom, leaking toilet, mould in shower, shower door frame top rail at about nose height. Generally just really old, tired room. External presentation from the road is appealing which sucks you in. Worst motel of our road trip, despite being priced higher than all other places we’ve stayed on this trip. This road trip was to support Covid affected small businesses but can’t recommend this one.

On a motorcycle trip up north. Stayed here before and was more than happy to come back. Perfect for me.

I’ve stayed here quite a few times now. Master bed was very hard this time and they still really need to put in more towel hanging especially for a 5 bed room.

Lovely and clean and quiet room, very well fitted out. Though a warning - Be very careful if you arrive late - don't assume because it is a highway motel that you will be accepted late. We booked via Wotif online just around 9.30pm (as we weren't sure how far we would travel that night) and we were told at 10.30pm on arrival in no uncertain terms that this wasn't allowed. Disappointing - why was it available when we searched on wotif?

Our room was clean and we felt welcome. The staff at reception was very friendly. We loved the pool area and enjoyed dinner at the restaurant.

Enjoyed my stay

I had a quiet night in at the Rest Point, after an excellent dinner at the onsite steak house. My room was clean and comfortable and very quiet, despite being just off the main road.

The staff at the motel were nice, the facade is well maintained and the two bedroom family room was spacious. However, the room desperately needs a deep clean and would benefit from refurbishment. When we walked around the room without shoes our feet would get black with dirt and the grout around the shower looked dirty. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assume this is because the housed fire fighters during the recent fires. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

Bribie to Tumbarumba

The location was excellent for our brief stay and, it is personally rewarding to be able to contribute to small towns that are struggling due to drought and bushfires.

No road noise because the rooms are set back from the highway.

Overall great service from the staff. Hotel was clean and tidy. I would recommend to stay here value for money.

Overnight in Glenn Innes

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was just as I expected. Basic but clean and comfortable. The location was quiet convenient as well.

We chased the snow that was falling at the time and our motel was cosy and comfortable. Management were very friendly and informative of the town and surrounds. A delightful visit.

Close to the centre of Glen Innes. The accommodation was peaceful and quiet and the pool was refreshing.

We stayed 3 nights at rest point motor inn. Comfortable beds,clean, lovely big shower with plenty of hot water quiet rooms, pleasant staff at the Motel.  Being there for 3 nights, the only thing that was lacking was something to cook on. An electric fry pan added to the room would have solved this.  For us, the only thing that brought the whole experience down was eating at the on site restuarant.  For a steak house, you would think they would know how to cook a steak.. the staff in there were not in the least big helpful, and even before we had issues with our food, were bordering on rude.  We would stay at the motel again, but would never return to the restuarant.

Needs Work

Clean and friendly, but old and in serious need of a makeover. The most expensive room I have booked recently but the least impressive. Somewhat saved by a decent restaurant.

Beware of stated facilities-all is not as it seems

I was extremely disappointed with this motel. Room facilities were not as described on the website. Very odd layout of room. Certainly no private spa as quoted. Microwave was situated in a cabinet (old breakfast access point) but was not usable, no electricity access unless moved on to table or chair in kitchen area. Wine list in restaurant not current, stating 2012 red but supplying 2016 for the same price. I must add the restaurant waitress was very obliging & pleasant & was embarrassed when the error was pointed out. She is the best asset to this business as the owners / managers were very abrupt or off-handed. We had stayed at this motel a couple of other times on our travels but will be looking for an alternative next time.

Good stopover

Clean, quiet, convenient location. Not massive, but had plenty of room to be comfortable For a stopover. Bathroom was big enough, & shower had great water temp & pressure.

Live ants in the bed, shower leaked onto floor badly. Rubber backed curtains perished and not able to block light.

Ok motel. Awesome steakhouse though!

Stayed in the 2 Bedroom Family Unit. Queen bed was comfy and had good pillows. Single beds were very uncomfortable and had rock hard pillows. Bathroom extractor fan wasn't working. Nowhere to hang towels as it only 1 single towel rail for a unit that sleeps 5. Heating to main room was good but heating in room with single beds was a terrible little fan heater. Would only stay again as it has the Hereford Steakhouse and it's superb!

Comfortable hotel for one night

The hotel was easy to find after travelling all day. We were disappointed to find that the room was small compared to other we have stayed in. There was a central area in front of the apartments where guests were allowed to drink and smoke. But the chatter and laughter could be clearly heard while inside the room. The shower door was only about 1.65 metres high, and you needed to duck under the top section. The bed's eiderdown and top blanket had stains on them.

Steakhouse was great!

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were great! And the steakhouse was fabulous.
