The hotel was handy to the train station and in very good condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to come back here again if in Lyon
Not so good overall. Good location. Space big. There is a kitchen. But poor equipped. Not clean. Crew not helpful.
The hotel is not like the Pictures
Worst property I ever stayed at
This was the worst stay I ever had, the property was shocking, rude staff, no willingness to help or resolve issues. When raising the issue with air conditioning multiple times, I was simply told that there was no solution and I could "stay there and wait for a Manager for hours if I wanted" as no one was available to help me further. This is the worst experience I've ever had and would not recommend staying there.
Good experience
Great stay
It was very bssic for the price- Kettle was dirty and the room was tatty. Stayed in loads of Ibis and Travelodges that were better value than here. Only saving grace was the fridge😁
Room too warm
The room was way too hot. No way to get the temperature down. The air conditioning was not blowing cool air, even on the lowest setting. We resorted to open the window, but then traffic noise was very loud. The room was otherwise clean. But we did not rest that night.
Cheap hotel but good value for money. Room larger than expected. Duvets, pillow and sheets all seem to have been renewed recently and together with the beds surprisingly nice and comfortable. Hotel a little bit worn around the edges and room too hot. Very convenient for Lyon Part Dieu station and airport shuttle train. Little bit far from Old Town.
Near train station.
This was a very dirty hotel . The check in staff wasn’t friendly. The location is very close to the train and transportation hubs . The check out staff was more friendly
The Hotel for us was very good, good size room and facilities were adequate. I think the fridge should be defrosted more regularly as the ice build up is making it inefficient, consuming excess energy.
Old, not clean and bed not comfortable and really old
I facility is okay, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The one concern is Air Conditioning not being cool enough but Lyon was very humid when I visited.
Great location, right in the city business center. Walkable distance from La Part-Dieu Railway Station. Apartment large enough for a family of 4-5 persons. Parking space available, though at a fee.
Simple easy hotel for a solid price. Condition of the room wasn’t entirely the best. However, I was only there for one night and the important parts were spotless clean (bed, bathroom, etc).
Much bigger than I expected, it's a really nice place for the cost. Would recommend
Great stay for a short trip.10 minute walk to the main train station and a 5 minute walk to the local Westfield. Staff was really nice and helpful.
Room is decent size, shower a bit small, liked the towel warmer and kitchen area. NO ICE IN ENTIRE HOTEL. Bed average comfort. Reasonable cleanliness. Check in area looks a little run down. Desk staff doesnt speak any english. Some friendly some not very.
Hotel was better than expected given the recent reviews. It wasn't pristinely clean, but it was satisfactory. The hotel appeared understaffed as we had to wait ~30 minutes to get to our room after the check-in time, however they were apologetic about this and it was not too much of a bother for us. The hotel felt safe as it required a room key or being buzzed in to get into the lobby. Very convenient for transportation to and from Lyon Part Dieu Station. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and comfort of the bed and pullout couch. Staff was friendly.
This hotel is convenient only because it’s proximity to the train station. It is in overall poor condition, not comfortable accommodations, not the cleanest either. Would stay elsewhere and take a taxi or uber next time. Front desk staff were nice.
Good value for money
Centrally located close to Part-Dieu train station and good value for the price we paid
Checkin was alright. Basic functional rooms with a lot of visible wear and tear marks everywhere. Definitely need a deep cleaning. When we came back to the room at 10 pm, we discovered no hot water in the taps/shower. The receptionist(Sarah) told me to check the circuit breakers and then discovered that the boiler controller was switched off. She came to the room, switched it on and left. After waiting for 10-15 mins, I called her again and she told us to wait an hour to get hot water. That means no shower till 11 pm!! When I asked her why hot water wasn’t checked before allocating the room, she started giving reasons like the boiler was programmed to run three times a day, the previous customer used all hot water, housekeeping are not supposed to check hot water, etc. On questioning why I wasn’t provided that information at the check in, she accused me of doing drama over hot water. Finally she provide another room and I had to go and check if hot water was in there. So definitely a rude and unprofessional receptionist made my stay not great. No air con, had to leave the windows open all night. it was so noisy outside. Barely slept. Definitely avoidable hotel
The apartment was a little bit dated and the kitchen was very smelly (kitchen drainage)
Nice easy hotel
The Hotel was in a good loction for getting around, also for transport. We were thete for the rugby game and the hotel was only 4mins from the Tram which took us directly to the stadium. The staff were helpful and friendly . Only negative, i think they need to go through the kitchen plates, cups ect and replace whats missing or broken. It was good to have the kettle and microwave as extras in the room. We would stay there again.
My check out time is 11 am , and the management suddenly blocked my key card at 9am . When I went to lobby ask for it , they act like today is your check out date , but it was still 9am ….
Very nice hotel, about 15 minute walk from train station. Very clean. Loved the giant flower pots at front of building.
We love your hotel. its very close to the train station. Everything is walkable. The rooms are very spacious and family friendly. Love everything about this stay in Lyon!
I was very disappointed.
A basic "travelor's hotel", but it does the job well. It has good WiFi Internet, and is within walking distance of the Part-Dieu station
Pros: good to have a mini kitchen in the room and breakfast was plentiful Con: the area is really not that good and cleaning was not the best at all. It would be much better to stay near the old town.
The hotel was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful.
Room was clean, staff very helpful. Some roadwork being done nearby which impacts the area and some transport but no noise in room. Able to walk to bus, trains and tram. Bathroom new but room itself still feels quite dated. Basic kitchen and cooking utensils, didn’t find kitchen bin until last day (as is in wardrobe)
The hotel with kitchen with kitchenware is the perfect option for traveller. The location is convenient and quiet with supermarket and coffee shops nearby. What I would suggest is for hygiene purpose better change the carpet to tiles which would be perfect. The staff are super nice even not speaking fluent French. They are very helpful.
Staff were friendly. Area around hotel is dirty and sketchy. Hotel does not provide towels or hand soap (but soap is provided in the shower). Shower had no enclosure so water just sort of sprays outside the shower, and with no bath mat provided it gets very slipery on the tile floor. Breakfast was €12, was ok for the price, coffee, cereal, pasteries, a tray of diced hot dogs, a station for hard boiling your own eggs, and fresh(ish) fruit.
Clean and Well Organised Space
Clean and well organised space for a very comfortable stay in Lyon. Room was a good size with small table and two chairs, luggage rack and desk space. Comfortable beds. Kitchenette had full size fridge and basic equipment. Good shower. Small wardrobe with room safe. Easy walking distance to metro, station and shopping. Really enjoyed our stay here.
We had booked this property for one night due to a travel mishap and needed to take a rest for the night. However, once we entered our room, we were met with stains on walls, bedding, countertops, and curtains. We slept on top of the bed and were careful not to get under the sheets due to numerous stains we saw on the bedding. We then woke up to several bug bite marks all over our body and the feeling of bugs crawling on us. We got out as soon as possible in the morning. In addition, the room smelled rancid as soon as we walked in. It was like a combination of old food and cigarette smoke. While the front desk staff were kind, we would highly caution any travelers, even those on budget from staying here. All stains, marks, etc have been documented as well in case there is a dispute.
This was a very basic apartment close to the Train station. The aircon worked well, which is rare for France. Unfortunately the floor was quite dirty and the coffee pod machine hadn't been cleaned since last use and smelled terrible. There is a frustrating trip hazard going into bathroom but at least the toilet is separate. There was a surcharge to use the laundry room (dryer wasn't working), a surcharge for coffee pods supplied in room and a surcharge for cleaning kitchenette (ie when you checkout and they clean the rest of the apartment it doesn't include the kitchenette, you have to clean that yourself)
I hope not to come back...
terrible, ugly hotel, no cleanness, the area horrible, they do not eve have phones on the rooms...
Very good location and a very good price.
Perfect
Open 24/24h, big room, clean, it has everything you need for good price ! Definitely a great place to stay in
Easy to find the Hotel location, bright and clean room. Check in/ out are so simple. Enjoy to stay.
The location is very good, near a shopping center, near the train station, that was perfect. The hotel’s condition and especially the cleanness were disappointing.
We like the location and customer services was excellent
Great location close to the train station but that is where the good experience stops. The hotel was very dirty and rundown. Would not recommend at all.
Hotter than the sun! If you like tropical heat then this is the place for you. The temperature in your room is set and cannot be changed. Clearly they are not feeling the energy crisis because heating was actually on full blast the entire time. That aside, nice size room with all the amenities. Super nice staff. If you like a sauna then you will love this place.
Great value
Very well situated Very helpful staff. Breakfast was great (12 euros) Good value overall.
Room was quite dirty - had bad odor when we walked into the room. The toilet bin wasn’t emptied before us so had used tissue and cottom bud in it… The dishes were oily and had instructions to say that dishes must be washed by the customers (so assuming people at hotel doesn’t clean them). Felt like you are in student hostel.. no soundproof so very noisy even with the sound off the road. Area around the hotel didn’t particularly feel good and safe either.. probably not somewhere we would consider staying again.
brilliant location, the kitchen was a real bonus
The hotel was very convenient for Lyon Part Dieu Station. It was comfortable and clean. Our welcome was excellent and staff could not have been more helpful.
Very pleasant no-frills hotel - comfy bed!
We needed a reasonably-priced hotel for one night's stay prior to taking an early flight out of Lyon airport. This hotel was within a few minutes of Lyon Part-Dieu station (where you catch the tram to the airport). It's no-frills, but very pleasant with a comfortable bed, decent shower and large bathroom/toilet. Reception staff were lovely and we were upgraded to an 'apartment' room without charge when we arrived.
Room was filthy! It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The fridge had hair in it. Baseboards were disguisting and the bathroom was dirty. Shower had obviously overflowed at some point and deteriorated the sink base. Hallways smelled badly and the tired old carpets had not been vacuumed in a long time.
This is an Expedia recommended hotel. Yet, the hotel is in poor condition, it is near impossible to get a lift. The bed were uncomfortable and not appropriately fitted (the blanket was smaller than the bed, missing pillows) we did not have enough towels. The room was clean, and the breakfast carefully and nicely set.
Staff helpful. Simple and functional
Perfect for a night in Lyon
Staff were really kind and the room was really clean!
We had 4 people in a 1 bed with a pull out couch. The pullout was made already when we got to the room. There was plenty of space, fresh towels, and it was very clean. Overall a great place to stay.
Very basic hotel, room includes kitchenette which wasn’t appealing. Breakfast so basic, don’t buy it, go to the train station and get it there!
It was okay, could have been cleaned more thoroughly, but was okay overall. A/c did not work. Bed is comfortable. A bit expensive for what is offered.
The location is a little far from the metro station if you walk there. But the Part-Dieu Commercial District and the main train station is not far from the hotel. The room is clean and comfortable.
Not really an aparthotel, more a room+kitchenette
Room smaller than the average aparthotels, no wardrobe in room 205 (space occupied by a boiler), incomplete kitchenware. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy location for car pick-up. Ridiculous price during la Fête des Lumières.
I was only there one night but it would be a great place for a long stay
Much better hotels nearby
Hair found in the shower, bad sound insulation
Basic and convenient stay
Close to the train station, solid basic stay, would work well for the people planning to travel and spending only a night in the hotel, probably stay again if in the city. Kitchenette is a plus.
Good amenities (kitchenette + terrace), some noise
Pros: - Nice to have a small kitchenette in room to make tea, coffee, and cook basic snacks - Reasonably central location - Nice terrace courtyard for guests with tables and chairs - perfect for having lunch outside etc. - Price reasonably good for amenities Cons: - Cleaning the kitchen, whilst not very time consuming, is weirdly not included in the stay and the sign telling you to clean it or pay €45 was a surprise - Some traffic noise, even at night, as the sound proofing isn't amazing
Front desk staff available and friendly. Clean and well equipped room. Easy-to-access hotel, ten minutes walk from Part-Dieu station
Do not book!!!
Do not book this place !!! Everything that could go wrong went wrong - check in at 10pm lasted 30 minutes, room was disgusting; hair everywhere stains on the door, cigaret smell, dust, no protection sheet on the mattress (if we didn’t get Covid we are lucky!), and this morning we couldn’t have the breakfast we booked because they didn’t have enough food!
Not bad
We stayed there for a night. The room was great for us. If you need to go to Lyon Part Dieu there is 10 minutes walk, to go to the city center there are buses.
The reception staff was lovely and always helpful . The property was very functional , super clean and I had an amazing view of Fourviere cathedral. Also it was a very good location as it was near shopping mall and railway station .
Residhotel Lyon is a very pleasant place to stay for short and long time.
Lovely helpful staff and quiet location. Good wifi connection. Clean and practical
After a 10min wait at reception (there was no queue), I finally got to my room. Although clean and the bathroom quite new, the rest of the studio room is in dire need of a refurb.
resid hotel Lyon
The conditions of the room were not the best ones, the plastic glasses they put were dirty and it was very difficult to control the heater.
Late check-in OK (After mid night). Staff are very friendly. With Kitchen and Boiler. All you need can be found in the Room.
Convenient to Gare
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Wifi was almost non existent. Terrible really! I did make a comment to the front desk about it. Hotel floors could be updated, There were water stains on carpets at service doors on the fourth floor. Smelled faintly of old cigarette smoke. Interior of room looks like it had been recently updated.
The staff are amazing and helpful. Customer service at this place is superb. The rooms are clean and functional. Kitchen stocked with most of what you need. Comfortable bed.
Not in a location where restaurants are plentiful, rather a run down area with no nightlife, but a good location for a trip to the mall, a central transit station and the Halles de Paul Bocuse
Perfect for mi vacations, nice hospitality and service. Excellent locations near to the train stations and mall. Beautiful and comfort apartment.
On reviendra.
God beliggenhed. Venlig personale.
No vuelvo a quedarme ahí
Parhelg i Lyon
