You could have a good experience, we did not
For a high-end accommodation, they are overly concerned about charging guests for everything. They are also very stubborn with helping resolve problems - didn’t give us the room we booked, no ac the first night, no water for washing/toilet the next morning; and they were rude to us for complaining about it and asking for a resolution. I’m sure most people have a great stay here, but we did not. I expected more for a $600 CAD per night room.
Way to big and over price. Can not walk to beach. Must wait for car to go anywhere. Not convenient. Its not real thailand
Property is beautiful. Rooms are average. Beach is rocky. Location is remote. Breakfast is subpar. Coffee at breakfast is a Nescafe machine. Hotel gives you a card to keep track of the towels you request throughout your stay. Everything is extra. Property is pretty kid-oriented. Sevice is frankly terrible. If you’re used to luxury and good service look elsewhere.
This its beautiful resort that has gorgeous grounds providing natural beauty. The cottage we had was modern, clean, with plenty of space. It was not lavish but in good taste. The staff and service throughout the resort are among the best of any place I have stayed. The only caveat - is that a good number of rooms are built on steep hillside. The hotel will provide shuttles to and from these rooms, but you should check if you have any problem with steep streets and hills (albeit well maintained.) The prices for food are a bit high. But you can walk to the nearby village for excellent local food that isn't costly. The food at the resort, however, was excellent. Tip is to eat at the pool bar for dinner to have a great view, and have pretty much the same food as in the restaurant.
Nice place to stay,wonderful !
Great family resort! Our villa was amazing and had spectacular views! Be prepared to do a lot of uphill walking! My elderly parents used the shuttle/golf cart service each time as they were readily available to pick up and drop off all around the property. Staff were so helpful and friendly! Beware of the monkeys…my son and I lost one flip flop to the little thieves…
Great
Good choice
Great breakfast. Hotel grounds are magnificient. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great room. Good service. You forget how dirty the rest of the island is. Close to Shanti Shanti restaurant which is very good.
Beautiful, relaxing, delicious
We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at the resort. The staff was extremely friendly throughout the property, the accommodations were wonderful as was the restaurant and we had a great experience at the spa as well.
The room was great! Location was nice! Ocean view, gorgeous sunsets, beautiful grounds well kept with fish ponds, flowers, grass & trees. We really enjoyed the infinity pool! The staff in all areas were nice the restaurants the pool & the cleaning staff they were all exceptional!
Everything about this property was wonderful! We hope to return soon
Lovely place to relax and enjoy
Brilliant service and beautiful setting. Great selection of activities on site and staff couldn’t have been more attentive. We loved our time there.
This is the kikd of hotel you never want to leave! Absolutely stunning and the staff were lovely!
Wonderful experience
We had an amazing stay at Rawi Warin. Beautiful resort, the friendliest staff ever!! Mr. Mee at the pool bar was awesome. We miss him already, always smiling and he makes great cocktails. Everyone that helped us during breakfast and dinner was wonderful. Our room was excellent , spacious and the outdoor shower was the best! The pool is beautiful. Beach in front of the hotel has a few rocks so you have to be careful.
Amazing property!! Beautiful, clean, great views and friendly and welcoming staff! Would come here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Lanta.
A Gem in Koh Lanta
Our stay at Rawi Warin was a highlight of our Thailand trip. Our beachfront villa exceeded expectations as it was spacious, comfortable, and you really can't beat the view. The small pool we had as a part of our villa was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a few beverages. The resort in general was absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. The staff was all very friendly and helpful in every interaction we had with them. We had the best massage of our trip at their spa and were well taken care of at a modest price. With many things to do on the property, we were never bored and always felt like there was more to do on the island. Had we more time, we would've done an island hopping excursion. Also just note, at low tide, swimming in the ocean is limited to smaller area due to rocks but during the day and at high tide the water is amazing. All in all, I would love to come back and spend more time at Rawi Warin.
We had beach pool villa and it was amazing. Great little bungalow w own Pool, yard and beach access. Pool grill had good food and room service Mee was great guy.The hotel limited our drinking water was only downside but not a huge problem just odd.the property was stunning with access to great long walking beach
One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in.
This has to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Great location right on the beach. Pool fantastic. The staff were amazing, couldn't do enough to help. Loads of choice for breakfast which you could get delivered to your room if you wanted to. Celebrated my birthday during our stay and all of the staff made it extra special. We've booked to go back again for Christmas and I'm sure we'll be back there many times.
Best Hotel Stay Ever
Best hotel stay I have ever had. Everything from assisting booking excisions and cross country transportation, to packing us a lunch for our 6 am checkout with 7-8 options inside. Worth every penny.
Lovely relaxing hotel
A truly lovely hotel with beautiful grounds, hotel was spotless, the staff and service provided was excellent. The food and beverage served was of a very high standard. Lots of amenities if thats what you are looking for, the rear of the hotel is right next to the beach. After spending 4 days / night in Bangkok and a week in Ao Nang with 6 of the family this hotel was just the right place to wind down and just relax. I would thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel.
Beautiful property with an amazing group of staff!
Perfect in every way. No wonder this hotel have such high review score
Amazing!
This is definitley the best hotel we visited in Thailand. We came here for 3 nights and didn't want to leave! Everything was perfect - the room is beautiful, huge, well equipped with everything you need. An amazing view, the bathroom has a shower and a bath! The pools are amazing and the private beach of the hotel as well. The service is wonderfull - all the staff memebers are kind and friendly. We booked a private day tour to the 4 islands through the hotel and it was amazing! Puang, The employee that arrange it for us did everything to make sure it will be perfect, including a special vegatarian meal for us. We simply enjoyed everything here, including the vip shuttel to the Airport.
Loved this resort - extremely friendly and helpful staff. Clean property and great in-room provisions especially the complimentary ones
Loved it but quite pricey over Christmas Loved our room with private pool but villa is lovely too
This hotel is incredible . The staff are so friendly and helpful . They will do anything to make your day a memorable and happy one . We will defiantly be returning next December with great excitement at a holiday that dreams are made of . Thank u to this incredible hotel !
If you going on to somewhere else after don’t Leave this till last best place we stayed in Thailand Beautiful resort well worth staying here
Beautiful location. Great rooms. Outstanding staff. A home from home
Couples getaway
We loved our 5 night stay at the Rawi Warin. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff were so friendly welcoming. Would highly recommend and just wish we were back there right now!
FABULOUS!! Every detail!
Our favorite resort of our entire trip. One of the nicest resorts we've ever stayed in ANYWHERE in the world. It was beautiful!! Absolutely gorgeous landscaping. The details are amazing. Amazing pool (infinity) and beach. Excellent food. The breakfast was superb. The room was very nice and the bathroom was fabulous. Big bathtub and big shower. All very modern and clean. My only complaint was the extremely large pillows, but the second day I was able to get some slightly smaller. The service was amazing all around, every person we came in contact with. This resort was so nice, we actually didn't even leave it and didn't see the island or try any restaurants. Our most relaxing time of our long vacation. LOVED it!!
We stayed here for our anniversary , the staff were all so wonderful , beautiful resort would certainly go back again . Thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful Gardens and surroundings absolutely beautiful. Thank you
Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and happy hour to enjoy the sunset.
Very nice setting amongst trees. Great response from staff. Couldn't be more helpful, particularly reception. Food and drink was a little expensive. Other options outside hotel.
The resort is wonderful, they upgraded our room because of the slow season, and the view is beautiful. Breakfast selection are great too, a lot of items to choose. And I tried the SPA and it's amazing too, best SPA in Thailand so far!
Amazing. The moment my partner and I arrived we were in awe of the place, there are so many activities to do around the area and within the property. We were also given an upgrade withoyt asking
This resort was amazing!! The staff was so catering and eager to help! Truly a luxurious place to stay and enjoy the beach! The only thing was there was a lot of trash washing in from the ocean and no one made efforts to clean it up.
Service was excellent. Only issue is that the villas are up on hills but you can get shuttles from front desk.
This was our first trip to Koh Lanta and the Rawi was a beautiful experience. When we arrived we were greeted with welcome drinks, cool towels, a tour of the resort and taken to our room. We asked if we could pay for an upgrade and they moved us to an ocean view room free of charge. The rooms were comfortable, quiet, very clean and had all amenities. The wifi was on point. Our room was at the top of the resort with beautiful views and they provide a shuttle service to the pools and beach area. Food is amazing and reasonably priced with many choices. The pools and beach are very clean and well kept. The grounds of the resort are stunning. The staff are friendly, respectful and tend to your every need. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Koh Lanta.
We really enjoyed the Staff reactivity, their kidness and their politeness
Nice hotel and grounds but food was hit and miss
We really enjoyed the grounds within the hotel, however the food here was not so great, particularly on the first night my partner and I ordered a sea food platter and a cocktail each costing us around 3000 baht. For this amount of money we were expecting something special, however what came out was a load of overcooked mussels, prawns and squid. The squid in particular was inedible. When complaining we were given an apology and a promise they would inform the kitchen, this in my opinion is not acceptable since it does not help us at all, no reduction of bill etc. In addition to the above a few times during breakfast when we chose fruit that was not covered we both had upset stomachs, the following day we went to breakfast early and noticed a lot of flies on the uncovered food. Based on these food related experiences I would say the resort is NOT worth the 5 star price that you pay for it and I doubt I will be returning.
Superb
We just kept on extending our stay
Lovely, lovely, lovely
Loved every minute. This place met our needs and mostly exceeded our expectations
Ultimate 5*star experience at 4* price
Everything about this hotel says 5 star - it’s beautiful setting, extremely helpful and friendly staff, and luxurious rooms and pools. I would love to stay here again. It really was excellent value for money.
Perfect Stay
A great hotel. Despite it being Koh Lanta off season we had a great time.
Mostly
The mosquitoes really affected the experience because while we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, they also enjoyed us as their breakfast buffet. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, comfortable room and delicious breakfast. Caught a gorgeous sunset on the last evening. However, they dont provide free transfers and the transort they offer is very costly. There could be some improvements made around the area, like the statue with a missing arm and the reception area which looked quite shabby. The gift shop also smelled very musty.
All around beautiful
Beautiful resort. Beautiful grounds. Beautiful villa. Can’t beat the view. Food was yummy. Staff was nice. Would definitely stay again if back in Koh Lanta. We enjoyed our stay.
Everthing was excellent
Not be missed !
I couldn’t fault this place although keeping the bar open for a short while in the evening would have been nice. Somewhere to go after your meal. The place is amazing nice little secluded beach beautiful views. Amazing breakfast probably the best if not a very close second to another resort that we stay at, definitely going back but for a longer stay next time.
Koh Lanta Vacation
Amazing stay! Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Clean facilities and great location. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay!
It is a lovely hotel.
The hotel is lovely beach resort with good service and facilities. I would think that its better than some 5 star resorts and good value for money. Well kept and clean. Staff are extremely friendly. WIFI is intermittent but not a big issue.
Excellent Stay - will definitely be back
We loved our stay here. The room was spacious and comfortable, amenities excellent and staff friendly. The restaurant and breakfast was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. We could not fault anything.
Holiday
Great hotel. Lovely staff. Loved the infinity pool worth the walk up the stairs !! Very quiet and peaceful. Nice gym facilities
Vacation stay
Lovely hotel and the staff are so very kind. A bit off the beaten track but plenty to keep you happy. 2 great pools. Loved the hillside one quiet and gorgeous. Lots of walking and stairs which was great to burn off all the food
Not ideal for travellers that like to venture out
Overall a very nice, upscale hotel in Ko Lanta. If you are vacationing with your family and looking for an all-in-one resort with amenities, access to the beach, etc., this place is for you. If you're looking to venture out and explore the town, this place may be a bit more than you need. For us, this hotel was not a good fit - we prefer smaller, boutique hotels vs. massive resorts like this. Not the fault of the hotel - this was our fault when selecting the hotel. One downside: we were given a room on the hilltop, and while they have golf carts that are willing to transport you to the top, it was inconvenient so we ended up walking up every time - a bit exhausting. The onsite spa was excellent - while expensive, one of the best massages I've ever had.
Exceptional resort but Tuk Tuk a pain
Really enjoyed the resort, the quiet, the food, the beach, the spa, but didn't appreciate the having to use the tuk tuk to access our room, complicated because my wife suffered from a sore knee - no advantage from being high up the hill side with no view!
Koh Lanta's high end resort
The staff were very polite and always wear a smile. This hotel has great facilities for adults and children. Great beachfront and sumptuous local Thai food. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back again.
Accommodation was luxurious and very clean, staff friendly and helpful and they hotel had a very relaxed feeling. Karin on reception was very helpful and always offering assistance. We only ate once at the hotel restaurant and although the food was nice the service a bit unorganised, as the staff did not understand out order, there was not enough wine glasses to serve our drinks so we had to wait 20 minutes until there were clean glasses. We were 2 adults staying for 5 days and this hotel was perfect, the breakfast was great with lots of choice. There were plenty of sun loungers or huge bean bags to sun bath which was very good. the cocktails at the bar were very good too.
exotic and romantic vacation at rawi warin
everything from resort to room to food and beach was exotic and wonderfull. koh lanta is beautifull and calm and staying at rawi warin made it special. lovely location, nice beach, excellent pool with lovely beds, always smiling and helpful staff, nice hidden villas in green surroundings and good breakfast. close by many little shags and restaurants for food. you can hire a scooter just for 200batth for a day and go anywhere on island...great place to be no doubt... really want to return for a longer stay.
One of the nicest resorts in Koh Lanta
Gorgeous property, super clean with comfortable rooms. The best breakfast buffet you can imagine. Beach not great but you can venture outside of hotel to find beautiful beaches.
The hotel was beautiful and I’m excellent condition. The pool, pool bar, and garden areas were our favorite place to be. The breakfast was excellent every day as well as the pool lunches. The pool bar had excellent service and drinks. We ate at the restaurant for dinner one night but did have awful service and and a very long wait. The food was good once we received it. The hotel staff were very accommodating and the front desk was especially helpful. Would highly recommend s this resort. The only downfall was the high climb up 200 stairs to get to our room, but the grounds were beautiful and they offer golf cart shuttles to your room any time
Upscale hotel
My husband and I came here on our honeymoon for 2 nights Location: close To small restaurants and bars little shops... it’s not too crazy here town goes to sleep pretty early it’s quiet compared to krabi or Phuket. About 5-10 Min walk down the road Hotel: huge property with one main infinity pool which is nice. Beach is out front but sand is more rough than soft. The beach is more rocky. Water is nice and blue. There’s a strip of little beach bars down the way which were so cute Our villa was 150 stairs up we made the climb every day but maybe not as easy For older people. They do have a on demand shuttle that will bring you to your villa. Hotel is mostly families older folks, quiet. Room: villa was very nice and clean. No complaints. The mini bar was not free and pretty expensive. Restaurants: we ate one night at the restaurant As it was raining and we were hungry but it is expensive. Personally we loved going for a walk and trying out the little restaurants. It was a lot More affordable:) Breakfast buffet (included) was fantastic a lot Of variety to choose from! Spa: we had a massage the first day. It was Nice but expensive. We asked to use the steam room and told it would cost extra. The next day we went out to the street and had a great massage for half the price :)
Amazing hotel with great staff and views
Super great staff from when we arrived to when we left. Beautiful grounds from lotus flowers to monitor lizards, frogs, geckos etc. The view from our room was amazing from dusk till dawn. The pool was very clean with plush towels and umbrellas for everyone. Breakfast was always stalked with goodies and surprises every morning.ie. Honey off the comb, chocolate fountain. The night always ended with us sitting in bean bag chairs at the beach listening to the waves by the fire on the beach. Very romantic. I think it was a perfect time to go to chill out from the city life. Best hotel in my books so far and we have been to a lot.
Very average
It was an OK stay, lots of staff doing not much at all. The pool staff in particular, 4 staff stood around doing nothing, would not come to serve us so we had to walk to the bar and order. Had to wait a long time to check in, even though there was 5 staff at reception and a nearly empty resort?? Comfortable and quiet but very average service
Breakfast and facility are great. Bed are comfortable
Most beautiful place we have ever stayed.
Perfect ! No beach swimming as it is quite rocky, but the facilities and pools make up for it.
Great Resort with very friendly staff
We highly recommend this Resort, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is fantastic and very reasonably priced, the pool is a good size and looks out over the ocean.
The hotel is great, but you need to book a room close to the pool or the pond. Otherwise you depend on the hotel trsansportation.
Immaculate resort - and exceptional service
We spent six days - actually two times three days, as we were so delighted with the place that we extended our stay - at Rawi Warin Resort. The rooms were fabulous, the setting was exquisite (so beautiful and well cared for!), there was an incredible amount of facilities and services, the breakfast buffet was amazing, and the staff's friendliness and service - at every single turn - was over and beyond duty and well into the realm of art. It was a great base for day trips and for renting a scooter and exploring the island, and just off 'the reservation' there were a number of good local restaurants to supplement the great, but slightly pricy dining experience of the resort's own five star restaurant. The rooms are in different villas and three story houses placed on the side of a hill with a beautiful sea view, so use the resort's internal shuttle service as you would an elevator (do!) - downhill in 30 degrees Celsius is fine, but uphill is a very sweaty 'Stairmaster' experience. We recommend hugely!
Excellent hotel if you want a relaxing vacation.
We spent 10 vacation days at the Rawi Warin. We pre-arranged the airport shuttle to meet us at Krabi Airport. The hotel rep met us at the door and the van was there shortly after. We drove to the hotel and the check in staff was very business-like and welcoming. We enjoyed pool-days, and nice walks along the beach. There is a travel agent service on site to arrange tours and motorcycle rentals. This reduces the hassle a great deal as they take of everything. The breakfast buffet is amazing; I would rank it a solid five stars. The one minor negative was that the wifi was somewhat inconsistent; it was in and out. The hotel staff has been well trained and the majority speak good English.
Good hotel but needs renovation
The hotel is very good but old and it starts to show. Some of the room facilities were not working properly. Good price/quality ratio! Breakfast was very good though some days fruit selection was small. Practically, the beach cannot be used at that time of the year - no umbrellas and sun chairs on the beach. The sea is also quite rough.
Lovely grounds and one of the best swimming pools
Check in was slow due to staff not being able to converse in English .They tried their best which is acceptable. They now have a English speaking front desk lady by the name of Elle. Once settled in the hotel , we were content and one of the best resorts we have been ,though quite a distance from Ko Lanta . Perfect location for Island speed boat cruises . My wife fractured her ankle and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and cannot thank them enough for what they did . Check out was quick and staff extremely helpful .
Amazing !
Had an amazing stay. I don't really have any complaints besides a few too many stairs to climb when you're on holidays haha I traveled here in shoulder season so unfortunately the ocean pool was not available at this time but other than that a very beautiful Resort
Wonderful getaway!
The hotel grounds were beautiful and the beach was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to help you enjoy yourself and were always smiling. The hotel ground are a bit hilly but the hotel provides a car to drive you around if you prefer, however we didn't mind the walks. There are a lot of jungle-esque features around the hotel however the hotel does a great job maintaining the misquotes etc. You can rent a motorbike across the street and travel the island easily so no need to stay only at the resort if you don't want to. Would stay again 100%.
We did not spend much time at the hotel but when we were there it was nice. Breakfast was delicious and complimentary. The grounds are beautiful and our room was great. Warning to people traveling to Thailand, if you are staying at 4-5 star hotels, the hotel assumes you have money, which my wife and I are not, so everything at the hotel is ridiculously expensive. For example taxis, day trips, transfers, spa etc..if you leave the resort and walk down the street you can find the same service for a fraction of the cost. We have stayed at several 5 star hotels during our visit to Thailand and have found this to be the case everywhere.
Fabulous hotel, worth the money.
Well worth the money. Stayed for ten days, and had seen and done everything on the island and surrounding islands. Great place to relax with beautiful beaches.
Excellent property, friendly staff, worth a visit.
Excellent time at Rawi! Gorgeous property and very attentive staff made for a very relaxing stay.
service and communication - terrible
While the resort is lovely and we stayed at their best suite ; things that bothered us very much- 1. Lack of English speaking staff 2. Lack of prompt service 3. Lacked enough buggies for transportation
Very nice resort! Great beach, pool and location
We stayed just one night but would like to stay longer. The beach and swimming pools are really enjoyable. There are some other beaches at walking distance, with very fun waves. Hotel is beautiful and room amenities have a great quality. We had to head to the airport early, so we didn't enjoyed breakfast there, but they prepared a boxed one for us. Very kind, but can be improved.
Absolutely Beautiful!
This is the nicest resort we have ever stayed at anywhere. It was like a movie set from South Pacific! I cannot fault anything. Ko Lanta in itself is a bit like stepping back in time compared to Phuket, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. When you are on this resort, you are, however in your own lovely world. If you are a pool person this will top just about anything you have seen before. Breakfast was super. We normally do not eat dinner at the hotel or resort, but did here both nights in a very romantic setting and enjoyed a wonderful Thai supper at reasonable rates. The servers were discrete and smiling and everyone, including the guests, seemed very happy. Every staff member at the resort was genuinely extremely courteous and wanted to insure we were happy. A Totally professional organization. We definitely will return for a longer stay.
Excellent hotel with good sea view
We had a great time staying at Rawi Warin. We had booked sunset pool villa. When we reached the hotel we were welcomed with some tea. The checkin process was smooth. The resort is located in the middle of Koh lanta making it easy to visit both south and north end of the island. You can rent scooters and go around the island. The staff is very nice. They were quick to respond to all kind of requests. Wifi is excellent even on the hill top villa. Breakfast was okay for me. May be because I'm a vegetarian and there is not much to indulge in. Sea view is excellent. During our checkout the staff even packed us breakfast. This was really sweet. I would recommend staying at this resort if you like some peace with good sea view. I dint use infinity pool as we had our own pool but it looked excellent and very well maintained Thanks for making our stay comfortable. I would only wish of the staff could speak and understand more English. It would have helped us to interact and engage more with local staff.
Amazing time great pool
We stayed 2 nights and never left the resort. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! The infinity pool is out of thus world! We loved staying at this resort. We didn't do any spa because the prices are high for Thailand. Also the beds were very hard and difficult to sleep on. However spending the day at the pool was fantastic.
beautiful serenity in front of beautiful beach
was a pleasant and remarkable resort.
A beautiful resort that gets a big tick in all boxes. Great breakfast, great staff and very spacious and comfortable rooms. Great views from uphill but it is a steep hill so mention any mobility issues you may have when making reservation - ground floor rooms still have a lovely outlook over the ponds and beach. Plenty of amusements provided within the resort so a great choice during monsoon season. Lots to keep the kids amused also. An excellent resort style holiday choice for all. Loved my stay here. Top recommendation.
Great place to relax
After some mishaps on Ko Lanta, fortunately we found this place literally next door. It is fantastic. The food, setting, beach and service is lovely. It's a little more expensively (but still not compared to British prices) than we planed but we'll worth the extra. Great to spend some time relaxing and an easy ride to the national park for a day out
Lovely 4 day break
We stayed here 4 night stay with family (2 kids under 3) and this resort was wonderful. The room was easily large enough to accommodate 2 travel cots with room for the kids to play. After initial minor disappointment at the room not being properly cleaned when we checked in after this point the room was immaculate. The hotel has a beautiful infinity pool with a slide overlooking the private beach just a stones throw away. Breakfast was ok, a la cart dining in the restaurant was delicious. Big thank you to all the staff who were brilliant, so attentive and helpful especially with the babies. If you plan a trip to Koh Lanta which Is a beautiful and sleepy island (still pre-mass tourism) I Would definitely recommend a stay at rawi warin.
Tranquil Garden getaway
This hotel was the highlight of our month travel in Thailand. It provides a very nice resort area with an beautifully kept garden surrounding. Service level was flawless by all the employees during the 6 nights we stayed. We chose a lower range room but it was still very spacious, had great standard and a breathtaking ocean view. Biggest con was the steep uphill climb in order to get there which probably would have been tiresome. This is something we never had to experience though since instant shuttle service is available all day. Only the big pool was open due to low season but that was quite sufficient. Especially enjoyed the infinity view and the chlorine free cleaning system used through ozone. All in all this hotel is great and I can really recommend fellow travelers to direct yourselves here!
Infiniti pool is a piece of paradise
Stayed here for 5 nights with my partner. Breakfast was great, infinity pool was the best I've ever swam in. Resort is well kept and the staff can't be faulted, very friendly. We had a room high up on the hill with a sea view and didn't mind the walk up, they have a shuttle service from reception to your room so that's good if you don't want to walk up after dinner. Room it's is a little bit dated but all in all a great experience.
Nice hotel
Very nice, nothing special but good facilities and service.
The best ever!!!
There are not enough stars for this hotel!!! The staff was some of the best in the world and the grounds were breathtaking. I didn't want to leave. Thank you for an amazing experience and I will for sure be back. I've told everyone I've met and everyone I know to come here.
Gorgeous resort
Super friendly staff the only thing that let it down was the gym it's very run down and machines are broken it's a stunning hotel pool area was amazing although the staff where feeling the heat they where not attentive around that area the Villa was beautiful the ambiance was serine gorgeous tranquil friendly resort
Best resort
Absolutely fab
Hillside room quite a hike
Was a pleasant surprise that our garden view room actually also had an ocean view. This made up for the disappointment and at times frustration that it was also.at the top of a hill and away from amenities that required a shuttle to and from on occasions whete we were too tired to walk. The poolside area is beautiful and staff very friendly. The bathroom door was very creaky and despite asking for someone to check it, ie, apply some WE 40, this didn't happen, keeping us awake when others used the bathroom at night. Fresh fruit, water and friendly smiles were lovely. We loved hiring the bicycles and cheap massage on the beach next to the resort. The spa massage prices were a bit high for Thailand. 4 stars.
great stay
Best are the private pool villas. If you are uphill, you can easily walk down, but you don't want to walk up again ... Good there are cabbies within the resort.
Swimming beach only when tide is in
Hotel and resort are beautiful, but not fully up on maintenance. Fantastic, spacious room & bathroom, but shower head did not stay in place, rain shower option did not work (hard water build up) & small tiles coming up. Feels like this resort was amazing in years past and will continue to decline as newer resorts go in. Front dresk not welcoming, all other staff very friendly. Great stair work out if room in at top of hill, cart pick up is an option (needed days 2&3) . The beach is very rocky when tide is out, pools are good alternative. Not much to walk to but a lot is available a few minutes away by motorbike. Hotel motorbike alittle bit expensive (250 baht/day versus 200 baht/day) but well worth it for higher quality bike. Breakfast was great!!!! Sunrise & moonrise view from hill top pool was my favorite.
Beautiful hotel for families and couples
Lovely exeperience. Hotel had all that we needed. The hotel was a little less equipped to deal with bookings for tours and tended to not have as much information, feedback or time to go through the different options or recommendations.
Excellent 5 star hotel
An excellent stay. There were only a few minor points that needed rectifying which I expected to be right he first time at a hotel of this class charging at the top of the band. All problems were promptly dealt with but the checking in system needs refining. Although we booked through hotels.com there was some confusion when we checked in. I was able to show the booking on my iPad but they needed to photograph it for their records. Surely they could print the necessary documents via the website. These were the only reasons why they did not get full marks. However it is a beautiful hotel , well situated with many fine facilities and services. Well worth a visit
Nice surroundings, could use some updates
The overall hotel experience is nice but the rooms could use some updating and refreshing to bring them up to par with the rest of the hotel. The bed was super hard and quite uncomfortable. The grounds are very nice with elaborate landscaping. Overall we were happy with the hotel but did not find that it was worth the price we paid but we did go at peak time (January).

Fantastic Hotel!
Amazing stay for our first long haul family holiday. Rawi Warin was brilliant - the room was stunning and very comfortable and the facilities throughout the hotel are all brilliant - amazing breakfast buffet, 2 great pools in the main area, pool bar and restaurant was superb. The staff throughout the resort were amazing and our 2 year old loved it. We would not hesitate to book again.
