Stay was good Couple things. Mattress was an old one. Major sag Also we got a text on a Sunday morning at 8 am asking when we would be checking out Good thing we were up Breakfast was great

The rooms are large and comfortable beds. We did however find the cleanliness of the room and pool lacking. There was a lot of dirt and old food around/in the pool. There was finger nail clippings on the carpet in our room… the location of the hotel is very convenient for shopping and restaurants.

Stayed here for 6 days and it was exactly what we wanted and needed.

Our hotel room was freezing, so we tried to turn up the thermostat. It was not working. The front desk attendant couldn't fix it but brought us extra bedding so we were warm enough. The next day, the same problem was present, and maintenance had not fixed it. On top of this, for 3 days, they had not added new soap to the dispensers. When I went to use the pool, the jets in the hot tub were broken. I asked the front desk for help, and they said someone would come. However, No one ever came. The hotel is old, run-down, and not well-maintained. Not worth the cost. Stay somewhere else when visiting wainright

Nice pool

Excellent property

We had a heavy snowfall when we stayed. The sraff were working their hardest to keep entrances free and accessible. Front desk staff eere very friendly and helpfull. Definately made it a great weekend getaway.

Property was good, but not worth what we paid for it, about $70.00/night too high and it was empty.

Clean rooms good location.

Not totally bad but the toilet leaked a brown liquid all over the floor of the bathroom and not a pleasant smell. The hot tub bleached the color out of our suit within 10 mins, the room was clean other wise.

The pool was so over chlorinated that it bleached our swim suits after just being in 10 minutes

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and caring. The breakfast was fantastic. The pool was great . We enjoyed our stay there.

Excellent accommodations!

Nice staff and very clean

The beds were a 3/10 as they were a bit like hammocks and you could hear the springs when you moved, Also our top sheet had wine stains on it. Another negative was the hot tub was broken during our stay. Staff were very pleasant though.

The air conditioning unit didn’t work. Never got cooler than 25c in my room all night.

Smell of natural gas in hallways. Caused headache

Room was not completely cleaned prior to my arrival - 2 bathing suits were left in the bathroom and there was garbage in the coffee station cupboards from previous guests. I flagged this with housekeeping and they were very responsive and apologetic.

Returning guests

Our hockey team stayed here, and returned after a great stay in 2023 as well. Rooms are big with lots of space, breakfast is good with options, hot tub and water slide are a big draw, and everything was clean! Service was great too!

Rooms were tidied and garbage dumped for first 3 days. Beds were also made. Last two days with shift change rooms were not cleaned, garbage was not dumped and beds were in same state as we left them in the morning later the same day.

The room was not that clean. Lots of hair on the bathroom floor and tub. Garbage on in the closet . Hot tub was dirty. Stave was very nice. Breakfast was great

The staff was amazing! They were so kind to my kids

This is not my first stay here but will always stay here when in Wainwright. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We were attending a funeral and they happily assisted by storing flowers in their cooler. We had some issues with the A/C and they were quick to come and fix the problem. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A lovely place to stay.

The desk staff especially one lady in particular was absolutely the most amazing person! She called me personally on August 3rd, 2023 morning.. Can’t say enough about her!! She was wonderful!

Nice hotel, a little dated, the beds need upgrading, had a old springy bed. it’s clean though and the staff is great.

Having problems hooking up to the hotel internet. I could not connect, so just decided to connect to the local Co-op internet.

Quiet and comfortable

Beautiful hotel and great room. Only downfall were the blinds/curtains in our room, they were not black out curtains so the sun had us up very early.

The hotel was clean however the air conditioner was broken in the room and was never dealt with.

As we had arrived and were checking in we were told that the pool and the hot tub were un operational. These were factors in booking the room over a month in advance. We asked for a discount as these services were not available. No discount could be provided so we decided to look elsewhere at another hotel. We went to a competitor that had hot tub and pool service. We explained our plight. The competitor not only provided a significant discount but also provided a Hot Tub Suite. The pool and main hot tub facilities were great. Ramada should have contacted us prior to our arrival if they knew their pool and hot tub did not work.

Excellent stay

Great stay! We came to wainwright to visit family they allowed my family to come to the hotel and have supper in the breakfast dining room area instead of crowding in our room. Rooms are large and spacious and pool is great.

Easy access. Parking stalls a bit tight but otherwise ok.

Tv sensor and sound didn’t work and there wasn’t a shower curtain in the bathroom.

Bed was comfortable, service was adequate. The room itself was a bit dirty, there was sticky dried stuff on the fridge/coffee station and the Keurig still had a used pod in it. Some hairs in the bathroom. It was expensive for the quality. Furniture looked worn out.

Liked the elevator. Didn't like the room, cleaning staff left feces in the toilet, bathroom taps were not wiped down and there was dog food on the carpet.

Nice friendly staff upon check in. Close to all the shopping that you need. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was amazing.

We had some issues with our room the first night (a used drinking cup on the floor under the nightstand, the tub wouldn’t drain, the smoke alarm went off at 4AM because the battery was dead and they didn’t have a replacement for it and the tv wasn’t working… I eventually got it going after rebooting it but it took about 30 mins). The next day they upgraded us to a jacuzzi room, which we appreciated. In the jacuzzi room, one of the lamps had a burned out bulb and another was just plain broken. Throughout these issues, staff were fabulous and friendly and did their best to make sure we were comfortable… can’t say enough good about the staff - they truly are wonderful! However, the myriad of small issues really did detract from the overall stay… granted, they were small issues, and any two of them together wouldn’t have bothered us… but they just kept piling up! We would happily stay here again but we will not be booking through a third party site - because we did book through a third party site, the hotel was unable to do any rate adjustments… supportive, kind, and friendly staff are the reason we would give it another shot!

Good place just for a sleep but the continental breakfast lacks quantity and staff to keep things refilled ! The cereals were empty ,no milk,poor selection of bread for toast,juice machine was getting fixed! Should have went next door to the A&W!

Was a good hotel to stay at and the staff were really friendly. There fitness center had new equipment and I was able to get a great workout for my chest, back, arms and legs.

Pool area was closed after i booked room but they upgraded me to jacuzzi room

Fun in Wainwright

The pool was great. The waterslide was fun. The room was fantastic. The bed was a little soft for my liking but that is a personal preference. The staff were knowledgeable.

$150 a night for a hotel with a pool for the kids, get there and find out the pool is broke down, breakfast was a disorganized mess, room was clean and nice

Manage your expectations

Booked this hotel because of the pool/waterpark and the included breakfast. Pool was closed for maintenance, and the breakfast, well, you can see for yourself.

Good location right of the highway. Close to anything you might need. Friendly staff. I’ll be back.

Staff were very friendly and helpfull

The hotel is very easy to locate and close to all anemities. The rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. Most of all the staff was excellent and very helpful with our needs and questions. If I need to return to Wainwright, The Ramada is the hotel I'd choose to stay in.

COVID safe hotel

We found the hotel very accommodating. We felt safe and secure during this time of COVID.

Good location with the A&W right next door and the Co-Op down the street

Due to the Covid-19 regulations the breakfast is set up differently, where you have to call 15 minutes before you want to eat and then walk down to the front to pick up your food, then you take it back to your room to eat it. It was extremely disappointing that they didn’t take the time to ensure food was prepared correctly and that each item was to proper temperature. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and all the pillows were very firm.

Clean hotel in a good location. Restaurants/fast food very close by. Hotel was clean, front desk check in was great, check out was a little slow in the AM. Would stay at again.

Pool is shallow with a waterslide & wheelchair entrance, not suitable for swimming. Very nice modern exercise room. Staff very friendly. Popcorn & boardgames available in the common room. Enjoyed our stay!
