Hotel is very nice and clean and spacious room. Very convenient to everything. Hotel is a prime spot
The room was comfort and clean but the furniture was outdated, the room needs renovation. The hotel location is convenient, and breakfast was nice with wide selection of food.
Excellent stay
i had a great time staying in this hotel. highly recommend this hotel for excellent location and services
Next to very well connected People's Square metro station which can take you to almost everywhere in Shanghai. Walking distance to interesting places such as museums and Nanjing Road East shopping street.Hotel is spacious and clean.
Good location and that’s about it
Very old 5 star hotel with 3 star facilities.
Clean, accessible and a great stay
Amazing hotel, great location to nanjing road, the bund and incredible restaurants. Has a decent size gym and individual saunas for men/women. Would definitely come back.
My room was quite nice. I went to the spa (part of the reason I choose this hotel) which was not an enjoyable experience at all. It was very stressful and not managed well. They advertise a special throughout the hotel and on your keycard, but didn’t let me actually book the service. The price was also a bad deal. Would give the spa 1 star and wish I could go back in time and not waste my money.
조식이 다양함
Everything is good except level 45 food has to improve further especially the beef cube really taste funny.
Very good location opposite Peoples Square metro station. Short walk to Nanjing Pedestrian Shopping Street.
Very classy and elegant, centrally located to restaurants, Bars, night life and other points of interest.
Very old hotel with poor service
Upon check out we could not get into the lift and waited for 30min for a lift as only 1 lift was working . This got us very late to go to the airport. There was no assistance from the the staff of the hotel either upon check in or check out, The rooms are very dated , dark and gloomy.
Quaint
Room need upgrade
Very convenience
Excellent
Great location, excellent breakfast, super views from the bar and helpful concierge. Would stay again.
Was good but could be better .
It was a lovely hotel just a bit dated and some cleanliness could have been a higher standard. The location was perfect for everything you need in Shanghai. The pool was a good size the hot tub wasn't really hot but was still nice and relaxing .
Golden location, amazing service
Heart of city's most vibrant district.
Great hotel in a great location
Fantastic hotel in a great location. Near metro, shopping, restaurants. The breakfast was awesome. The staff was friendly, efficient and accomodating.Rooms were updated and comfortable.
Good service
Great place and location.
Perfect Hotel to Stay in Downtown Shanghai
Perfect located near three subway lines and the Nanjing Road shopping district, with excellent facility, great food and service, this Radisson Blu New World Shanghai is definitely going to be my first choice for future stays in downtown Shanghai.
Amazing stay but the pool was not functional
This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and I was disappointed that I could not use the swimming pool during my stay due to the pool not being functional. Location of the property is brilliant.
Very convenient for everything shopping , transportation and dining
Had a comfortable stay at this hotel. It was my first time in Shanghai and the location was great. Lots of English speaking employees and very friendly. It was safe and clean. It had a great breakfast buffet which was a nice bonus. I would definitely stay here again.
Happy stay in a convenient location
The hotel is very conveniently located. The condition is not new but perfectly acceptable and reasonable. The bar tender at the hotel ground floor Selina showed my family her warm service and the attentiveness to children
Good location but bad front office service staff
Hotel is located at a convenient area of the city making it easy sightseeing. Good spacious rooms but what was not ok was the service. From a property like Radisson you expect high service standards especially from the front office staff. Checking in at 6 am with family after an overnight flight, the solo staff member was quite unhelpful, failing to understand what we were trying to explain and she ended up getting angry when we made a request. We had to ask for the duty manager to come and resolve the issue and thanks to him we got the required assistance.
Great location
Was not made aware that the spa was out of use
Very nice hotel in the heat of shanghai!
The hotel is connected to a Mall and in front of a Park, nice walkable area.
Hotel is very near the metro and just one straight train journey to and from airport / railway station. It is near the shopping area. Generally, the room is clean but feels like I am back in the old Shanghai era. The interior remains the same as the 80s, if that is what you digs.
I love this hotel for the convience to public transport, nanjing road shopping, and the shanghai museum. I also like that the staff tries to help you in all sorts of weird circumstances from tooth caps falling off and friends without visas. Thanks especially to Jackie at reception.
This is my first time in Shanghai. It’s a good choice for me to this hotel. Convenient to shopping and to the bund. Very good location for everything

Very Accessible to metro stations, shopping mall n food. Room is spacious and clean. Hotel staff are helpful. Quite a good range of breakfast at the hotel. Most importantly is it is just a few minutes away from Nanjing Road and is conveniently located to tourist attractions.
Very nice and convenient place to stay,
Great place
good location
Excellent Location
Hotel is very well situated. Suite on 20th floor. Rooms very well soundproofed but could hear service elevator. Service is very good and the breakfast excellent accommodating every conceivable requirement. No issues with WiFi as some reports. Overall an excellent choice. Avoid roof bar as it is dated and overpriced.
Excellent choice for a stay in Shanghai. Very central location n big mall next door has loads of dining options. Big metro stop next door takes you everywhere including the airport Price is good. Older hotel but everything works fine
The hotel is less than 200m from the train station. Plenty of dining options nearby. Secure area.
Superb location! Excellent front desk staff. Great room, and spectacular 360° view of 45th floor restaurant and the top floor bar. Happy staying!
It was good overall
Ok
Great location and friendly staff!
Thanks 😊
Lovely but needs to update Wi-Fi system
Wi-Fi didn’t work
good
The location is so convenient. But, they need to pay the deposit $1000. It is unexpected for me. I do not know when I come in this hotel.
Excellent location at the famous walking street, shopping and food. Good for tourist.
Luxury Stay
Beautiful Hotel which has a great location to Nanjing road. Service was really good especially concierge and reception as they let us Check-in at 1am and gave us a free room upgrade. The hotel also has a entrance to the mall which is very convenient especially in summer. Only downside is the carpet was looking old but otherwise amazing 5 star hotel.
The location is great, the hotel has some nice art deco features. Its a short taxi ride to the Bund and Yu garden. The pedestrian shopping street leading to the Bund is just across the road, and the connected shopping centre has a great food fall on the top floor and lots of small local food outlets in the basement which is great. the views from the restaurant and the bar on 47th floor are great . I stayed with my two young sons, and my main issue was lack of the two single beds in the room as requested, we ended up with a super-king size bed. The hotel is very clean, apart from the swimming pool, where water is not the cleanest. Staff are helpful and polite.
Great staff and location. Only downfall was the Internet in the hotel. Cuts in and out and very slow.
Great hotel in a fantastic area. Close to everything. Walking distance to Nanjing shopping area, the Bund. The metro is located just outside. Hotel has great facilities, good breakfast, it's clean and staff are welcoming and friendly.
Excellent location for traveler.
Not a great experience
Poor check in experience. Had reserved and paid for rooms next to each other but on arrival told we would be 2 floors apart. We had also requested high floor rooms for the view of the city. After 20 minutes, offered upgrade to rooms near each other - only option. Sadly, lower floor so didn’t get the views. Upgrade did not make up for this. Rooms and wider decor also a little tired. Good hotel location for city sights and subway but overall, disappointing experience.
I was at this hotel the first time in 2010. I didn’t see any change…. Any way I like to stay in this hotel.
Not going back to this hotel
despite VIP and gold member, room was in low floor 6th floor (hotel is over 40floors) and room was facing a wall. Requested to downgrade room to one with a open view but was informed none available. insisted i must pay to upgrade but the condition was free upgrade if room is available. Very disappointed.
Overall good but the only problem was I booked Twin beds but I got King bed room but it's fine. Staffs are nice.
We, a family of 4 stayed for one night. The family space is enormous, with two king beds, a large living room and a dining room. The buffet breakfast is superb. Location wise, right next to the Nanjing Road shopping area, although very quiet inside the hotel. The swimming pool looks nice too. You got great bang for the buck. Wish we stayed longer.
Excellent
Excellent
Abit upset that did not get the bund view/an unblock view as requested. The standard of answer given was fully booked whereby my booking was 2 month ago too. Anyway like the area to be a quiet zone.
excellent everything
Amazing as always
Stayed at this hotel on business and it was beautiful and the staff were amazing. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip.
Very centrally located, clean rooms, amazing buffet breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dining options were great, well equipped gym. We had a family suite and it was huge. The only downfall was the cost of the washing/drying, and the cost of water and coffee. Otherwise, a perfect stay!
Excellent
Great place and great location.
Very good proximity to the Bund and shopping, service at the breakfast buffet was inefficient. Other than that,I'll return.
Excellent hotel. Reception staff very helpful and good languages. Very good location opposite peoples park and on Nanjing road. The peoples park metro is opposite the hotel so easy transfer from PVG airport (Line 2 or Maglev and Line 2). Taxi's also easy from / to hotel. The hotel has a large indoor pool and and an outside decking area for Europeans wishing to sunbath. Mornings are best. Hotel rooms very good in terms of size, furniture etc. Maid service also very good. The hotel has a roof top bar, which is good for views etc. Its a very nice hotel and fully justifies the rating particularly with the excellent staff. Travelled as a leisure couple from London.
A park and a subway station the street, and plenty of eateries nearby.
It’s our first visit to Shanghai, Stayed at Radisson Blu New world for 6 nights 2 adults, 2 kids in a Family Suite. The hotel is very conveniently located to Nanjing rd shopping area, a short walk to people square train station, tremendous amount of dining options. Very lively area. We absolutely loved the amenities, kids loved the swimming pool, jacuzzi and great breakfast every morning. Beds were very comfortable, housekeeping did a great job. Will highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely loved Shanghai will be back for sure
Our Stay at Radisson Blu Our recent stay at Radisson Blu was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we stepped into the lobby to the minute we checked out, every detail was meticulously attended to, ensuring a truly memorable experience. The hotel's ambiance exudes elegance and warmth, creating a welcoming atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to the friendly and efficient staff who greeted us with genuine smiles and ensured all our preferences were met. Upon entering our room, we were delighted by the immaculate cleanliness and tasteful decor. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the room, from the plush bedding to the thoughtfully curated amenities. The breathtaking view from our window added an extra touch of magic to our stay. Throughout our time at Radisson Blu, we were continually impressed by the impeccable service. Whether it was the prompt room service, helpful concierge recommendations, or the personalized touches that made us feel truly valued as guests, every interaction exceeded our expectations. One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the hotel's restaurant. The culinary experience was a gastronomic delight, with each dish expertly prepared using the finest ingredients. The ambiance was delightful, complemented by attentive service that made us feel like royalty. In addition to the fantastic accommodations and dining options, the hotel's amenities were top-notch.
Perfect spot near Nanjing street
Excellent hotel, very good staff, supportive and helpful. The location was close to Nanjing st. and had a lot of food options with 200 ft. Shopping was also easy on Nanjing st. The hotel has a rotating restaurant on the top and this gives a great view 360 degree view of the city. Only downside the aircons were not cooling and this seemed to be a China thing for the season ( as it was cold outside) and this made it uncomfortable in the nights. Totally recommend this hotel.
I like it. Close to everywhere
Perfect overall
The staff is very nice. The bathroom needs more cleaning.
This was a visit to introduce my wife to a hotel I stayed at many times during my business trips to China. It did not disappoint as the room was wonderful and overall hotel was top notch. Only disappointing point was the Wi-Fibthat was so slow it was almost impossible to use.
The staffs are friendly and helpful.
Great hotel and pricing
Very good
The 2 suites allocated to us were on the 6th floor with no view at all. The rooms were not well maintained, the cabinets were old with shaky doors. The corridor to the rooms were dimly lit looks shady. Breakfast spread was basic, crowded with no tables available for use. Though the staff were helpful. After spending 2 weeks in various parts of China staying in better properties, Radisson Blu was a disappointment. Wont recommend it to anyone
Great hotel
Huge room, well located. Request for addtional bed or change in bed configuration not allowed, pretty upset with this.
Nice location
great location, staff is super nice and helpful. The room furniture is a bit outdated.
Such a stunning space, plus the gym & pool are gorgeous! My gf & I loved it! Super convenient to get around from this location, we'll certainly be staying there again! Keep up the amazing work! X
Conveniently located near People’s Park train station and Nanjing Road, and staff were professional
Great location
Very convenient hotel but slightly expensive. Room has smoky smell despite being non smoking room
The best hotel in Shanghai
Simply one of the best hotels in Shanghai:)
My Second Home in Shanghai
The hotel is one of my favorite hotels in Shanghai. The staff are so wonderful and super accommodating. I love the fabulous center location, as it is close to everywhere. It is like my second home!
Another disappointing stay at the Radisson Blu
The Radisson Blu hotel boasts a prime location, with a conveniently nearby subway station. The hotel's service is truly exceptional; however, my experience was marred by some reservation issues. Initially, I booked a Junior Suite Park View with twin beds via the Hotels.com app. To my disappointment, upon arrival, I was informed that no suites with twin beds were available. Instead, they offered an "upgrade" to a Junior Suite with a city view. This wasn't actually an upgrade, as the city view suite had a lower cost and featured just one bed, contrary to my request for two. Feeling weary from a long journey, I ultimately accepted the available suite and requested an extra bed. The room was generally clean, but an excessively noisy air conditioner required me to turn off one of the air conditioner units for comfort. Notably, there was no room service menu in the suite, though having stayed here on multiple occasions, I knew room service was available. We decided to order an American breakfast and a cheese omelet, both of which were impeccably prepared and promptly delivered. For guests planning to dine in at this hotel, I highly recommend their cheeseburgers; they're meticulously cooked and crafted with real beef and bacon.

Overpriced and Underwhelming Experience
I stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Shanghai and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The reception staff were not welcoming at all. When I asked for a recommendation for a good sushi place, they told me to go outside and ask someone on the street—completely unhelpful and unprofessional. The room I was given had a dirty bathroom, which was unacceptable. Only two complimentary bottles of water were provided, and any additional water costs 58 yuan, which is absolutely outrageous. For a hotel that’s supposed to be more upscale, the service and amenities felt far below expectations. I’ve stayed in much cheaper hotels with far better service and more thoughtful hospitality. This Radisson did not live up to its name.
