Beautiful property immaculately maintained, styled and designed with the most wonderful staff. Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome and at home..
Beautifully restored and styled property. Great service and delicious meals. Suites were luxurious in a delightfully understated way. Spa was top notch and yoga classes excellent. Stayed with multiple family members and staff made sure we were well taken care of. I hope to return someday!
Stay was very unpleasant and so was the food. The staff was also not so well trained
This is my most favourite hotel in all of India and possibly the world ! It is a dream. The staff are wonderful and professional. The rooms large and comfortable , the setting heavenly. It is a must! Keep up the superb work Raas Group
A spectacular historic location and a gem of a hotel offering exceptional service, accommodation and amenities. Mr. Khan is a true ambassador for this Raas hotel and his dedication and love for the hotel results in a long-term employee who truly strives to ensure his guests are happy. Will definitely visit this Raas again!
Phenomenal hospitality and service. Little far away from the city but experienced a truly serene vacation away from the hustle.
RAAS Devigarh is a hidden gem in the vicinity of the Aravali mountains. The property has been kept in pristine condition and it is evident that the owner has gone great lengths to preserve the heritage of the palace all while giving a touch of modern refinement to the property. The food is delicious and the views, breathtaking. Would visit again.
Great and warm customer service. Beats staying at Taj Lake Palace!
Old heritage palace nicely maintained but lacks signboard for directions.Food was good.Property good for young person not for kids and elderly.
An amazing stay.
RAAS - the perfect hotel
This was the very best hotel that I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The place is fabulous and the service top rate. Every employee was extremely cordial. It's off the beaten path but worth the extra time to get there.
Beautiful experience
The service is excellent. Greeted by rose petals falling down on us as we walked onto the property. Delicious breakfast with many choices included. A wonderful Doctor of Ayueveda was so helpful when I arrived with a cold! The spa experience was very good too.
Loved that it was a 17th century palace, the history behind the resort. People were amazing. Super clean. Eco friendly (no plastic bottles).
Truly magical
This is THE NICEST hotel we've stayed at in all of our travels around the world. This property is truly special. We were debating staying here or at the Taj Lake Palace and after visiting the city palace and doing a boat tour and viewing the Taj Lake Palace, I would say the two hotels are not even comparable. We booked the Aravali suite and the room looked a little different than we had expected so one of the hotel staff at the reception (sorry I forgot his name!!!!) showed us all of the Aravali suites and let us choose which one we liked best. The pool is unbelievable and the food is to die for. Amit served us during our stay and really took care of us. We got airport transfers and a Udaipur city tour with the same driver who was extremely friendly. We are now on to our next city (Jaipur) and wish we had just stayed at the RAAS for the rest of our time in India.
Excellent experience, friendly staff, excellent meals - nothing too much trouble
Completely magical! - most incredible place I've ever seen or stayed. The blending of a modern luxury resort + a heritage palace is done expertly, everywhere you look is something beautiful & unique. The decor is impeccable (is "palace minimalist" a thing??); sits atop a hill with 360 deg views of the most stunning countryside. Filled with nooks & crannies, designed to be explored and enjoyed (my only feedback for RAAS would be to have more signage/maps bc I had a hard time navigating around, but it's also the most pleasant place to get lost that I can think of :). I stayed 2 nights, wouldn't have minded staying 3-4. Food was excellent & they were also happy to tailor to any requests. I enjoyed the spa, the salt cave, the poolside, explored the [very] small village (filled with the nicest people), did a short hike with a guide up a hillside, used the gym for my own yoga practice each morning (an open-air gym, w view/breeze that I'll never forget), got a hotel/palace tour (highly recommend doing this), and enjoyed leisurely time in my room. My room was huge (a palace room I believe?) with bedroom, balcony, sitting room, living room area, and enormous bathroom. Service was excellent and all of the staff were very freindly, always smiling -- sometimes I have a hard time in India with staff being too doting/intrusive/overeager which I find uncomfortable & off-putting, but RAAS staff more relaxed and respectful of your space, while still always being avail & offering service.
The Petrus Pomerol of Indian hotels!
I have stayed at most super luxury properties in Rajasthan but this one belittles all the others mocking their inadequacy. The Umaid bhawan is nothing in comparison. The service is impeccable and property has been endowed with taste that is 7 star! Every single thing has been thought of so as to be adding to the first class experience. It’s the Pomerol of Indian hotels!
The stay was comfortable.food good
Great hotel in a great location
We enjoyed our days at the Raas Devigarh, the room had a great view of the Aravali Hills and was very spacious and well appointed. I must mention the staff who were friendly and attentive.
Beautiful and peaceful
Amazing service and very warm and friendly staff. ..quiet and relaxing place. ..
Happy stay at Raas Devigarh
Very comfortable and excellent staff cooperation.
Great stay with great staff
The staff were outstanding and I wish there more stars cos they deserve all the stars in the sky - outstanding
worth a visit.
The hotel property is worth a visit. The staff is good. Only problem is the village noise in festivals and marriage season. If you can bare that one can really soak in the glory of luxurious past.
Excellent stay
Excellent stay. Staff was very cooperative and supportive. Enjoyed the stay.
Awesome place not pleased by the food
My fiancé give me a surprise by taking me to Devi Garh and the place is beautiful. Its a really good example of a palace converted into a hotel. The ambiance was good and the staff was friendly but the only thing that let down our experience was the food.
Perfect trip
Excellent stay. Order the dal baati in advance. Got upgraded to presidential suite complex. Amazing property.
OASIS amidst Arid Landscape
We booked this property for Quick get away from hectic city life. First of all, it's location is fantastic surrounded by Arvalli mountain range on all sides. Elevated position of Devi Garh itself is fantastic with mind blowing landscape. series of courtyards gives very serene & private environment. You can get complete privacy. Cleanliness was spot on. Good food. I strongly recommend to enjoy at Devi Garh to those interested in 2~3 days of complete peace of mind and relaxation. Spa is worth a visit!
Noting great
Nice hotel but don't feel like a palace suite room are like normal suite room I think udaipur city hotel overall will give 2 star
best and most tastful hotel of all india
perfect tekax after maharana wedding in udaipur: beauty history breathtaking architectur and voyeur view on little city of devi garh
Live Like a King (for a few days)
Devi Garh lives up to its photos...we stayed in a Palace Suite that was comprised of a large entry room with small table and chairs, a large bedroom with a sitting area, a dressing room with a couch and table, and a huge bath with separate shower, bath, sink and toilet areas. Everything was, as promised, covered in white marble and spotlessly clean. Our three adult children stayed in a second Palace suite that was smaller than ours but just as lovely and, more importantly, had two full-size and one twin bed. The hotel is a series of passages, stairs and beautiful little public rooms (as well as some larger lounges) and we spent a wonderful day having massages, walking through the neighboring village with a guide, and finding nooks to read in and watch the sunset, and enjoying a cocktail on the outside veranda. There is also lovely pool and hot tub and a croquet court on the lawn! The downside? Service was pleasant but spotty (even though the place was virtually empty during our four-night stay), the food was nothing special--a problem since you are often locked into eating there given the distance from Udaipur (about 35 minutes). The exception was our final night when we booked a private dinner for five in a small jewel of a room. The setting was magical, the food excellent, and the service fabulous. If Devi Garh can manage to do that more consistently it will be perfect.
big rooms and very big bathrooms
It was really lovely to stay in this heritage hotel
Magnificent Heritage Property
A beautifully restored property in a lovely rural setting not far from Udaipur. We had a fantastic stay here. A bar that overlooks the Rajasthan hills at sunset, roof top yoga, architectural beauty, lovely spa, attentive staff. The breakfast buffet could use better food (the fruit was very limited and dry, no good whole grain bread) but otherwise we had a wonderful time. Do not miss the local village tour.
Gorgeous indulgence nestled in a green paradise
Devi Garh is quite literally, the most gorgeous hotel I have stayed at in Rajasthan. The Garden Suite was spacious, immaculately detailed and has every possible convenience you could wish for- including a marble bath you will find it hard to leave behind! The hotel has impeccable service- my suitcase sprang open (under duress) and five obliging staff were on hand so swiftly to save the day. Every imaginable television channel is available in a host of languages, and we had the good fortune of a view of sprawling green hills from our bedroom. Gorgeous!
Exceptional hotel
Superb views over the Rajasthan countryside. Room was a palace suite which I would recommend to anybody.
Paradise on Earth
Devi Garh is my favorite hotel in the world: the dream location in a desert village; the stunning architecture of the original fort and impeccable renovation; the amazing service - they all combine to make Devi Garh just the perfect escape to relax in style. The suites are gorgeously appointed, and most have a view of the surrounding mountains and village life. The restaurant has an extensive menu ranging from traditional and modern Indian to Rajasthani specialties to continental food. There's plenty of choice but if you want something off the menu, they'll make it too. The veranda bar is the perfect place to watch the sunset while lounging on the most comfortable daybeds. The hotel's staff is incredibly tuned into guests' needs - and not only do they meet but often anticipate them: a glass of lemonade arriving unexpectedly by the pool when you think you're getting a bit thirsty, or a cup of tea and a shawl when the sun gets down and the temperature drops as you are reading a book on a daybed. The pool, the spa, the private dinners in tucked-away corners of the palace... Everything is simply perfect. I could go on describing every detail, but you get the idea. The village just outside the gates is absolutely picturesque and full of charm. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can borrow mountain bikes and explore a bit farther. If you do, bring your camera!
Breathtaking palace hotel
A hotel really doesn't get to be more spectacular than this. imagine an old palace perched on the top of a hill that has been converted beautifully in minimalistic style into an all suite boutique hotel. Well that is the Devi Garh. We arrived late, but the staff were very friendly and showed us to our upgraded room (a palace suite). We had asked for an extra bed for our son, which wasn't in place, but the free bottle of wine was, and the bed soon arrived and was set up in one of the sitting rooms. In the morning we saw the most spectacular setting of the palace and the tour of the hotel was well worthwhile. While the hotel is 40 km from Udaipur, we felt it was a worthwhile diversion, and were glad that we had not stayed in the city, but in this serene place instead. The only criticism, as others have mentioned is that the food was not upto the level of the rest of the hotel
Amazing hospitality and service!
Hotel di grande charme, bellissimo! Purtroppo non abbiamo avuto la camera che appariva in foto al momento della prenotazione perché Expedia ha prenotato una camera inferiore di livello.
You should not miss this hotel in Rajasthan
Raas Devigarh - an old palace set in a beautiful landscape with a modern design twist on the rooms. What a result! Booom! The food was incredibly good, service more than perfect and the place (Pool, courtyard ...) very very impressive (my girl was crying when we left).

It is an amazing palace resort with amazing staff and services!! Food was excellent and they supported my wife’s dietary restrictions requiring dairy free food.
