Family stay

Very nice place close to all shopping and Dandenong market. Comfy clean beds. Great having two bathrooms. Everything was very clean. Only downfall is we stayed 5 nights and only had our room cleaned once. The hotel manager is the nicest lady. So are the others behind the desk. Swimming pool was refreshing.

This is our second stay, would highly recommend staying at this property, the staff are all so very nice, its close enough for day trips to Melbourne and enjoying the surrounding places. Pauline is so very welcoming and always smiling and asking how you are, she made our stay wonderful.

People are very friendly and the receptionist was very helpful and kind.

Beds are super comfy, staff are very friendly, very close to Dandenong shopping and dining area.

You couldn’t get nicer staff than at this place. They are always so friendly and helpful. We call this our second home now! The rooms have everything you need and want. We love this place ❤️

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, it was great to have parking available. Would have like a lift but staff offered to help with luggage. Will return hopefully in the summer so I can use the pool

Convenient to woolsworrh

Dryer doesn’t work, very noisy rooms, could hear everything in the night, people going to the toilet and the curtains in the bedrooms let sooo much light in, we were all awake at dawn!

The lovely staff were amazing to deal with. Such great hospitality. Ohhh and the main reason why we were there!!! The amazing aircon and swimming pool lol. Thank you Team Quest Dandy for having us. Kept us cool during the heat wave. Regards. Ese Family.

Staff were friendly. Room was a good size but the carpets were not vacuumed properly felt grubby. Didn’t get serviced everyday, I had to go and ask for clean towels etc…

Functional

Functional but basic. Be aware the hotel is on a very busy highway. The best part about the hotel was easy parking and all the reception staff were super nice and helpful.

Sockets and tv not working

Property was close to where we needed to visit. On arrival there was a misunderstanding, as someone with the same surname had claimed our room prior to our (late evening) arrival. THEY were at the wrong Quest (there are 2 in Dandenong) and happened to have the same surname as us which caused the staff to believe that somehow they WERE meant to be there. We arrived about an hour later, and sent the night manager into 'total frown' at the computer while he tried to work out what had gone wrong. He solved the problem by simply giving us another room, so we weren't left sleeping in the foyer. In the morning - the confusion had all been worked out by the staff and we were then put into our correct room. They were wonderfully courteous about it. the room was clean, private and spacious.

Furniture and carpet needs bit of washing

Looked and smelled very clean. Was very quiet which is great. Huge bed, too.

Suggestion would to have a full length mirror available in the room. Water pressure could have been a bit more, and occasionally hot water took a bit longer to come through. Otherwise stay was amazing. The staff in reception were fantastic and friendly

Convenient, quiet and comfortable. A little bit difficult to adjust the shower water temperature.

Was really neat and tidy, good size room with little kitchen which was handy :) We had our 3 month old and there was plenty of room for her and the cot. Really nice staff also.

Best welcome I've ever had at a hotel! Very friendly and helpful. Have stayed at the Quest Dandenong on multiple occasions. It's always clean, tidy, quiet and a great place to stay in this area.

Customer service was excellent. The two bedroom apartment was great for a family of five. The pool was also enjoyed by all!

We loved it. Everything was clean and set well. Smelt great and easy checkin. Even in the night we found it hard to get back into the property but they. Iggy manager was so helpful and came to check on us. We loved it, close by to a lot of things and playground just opposite. Will definitely recommend this place and we will come again for sure!

Great location, price and nice clean comfortable

Quest Dandenong was great. Clean tidy places are hard to find in this area and this place was a winner. We will definately stay here again if we are in the area

Everything was perfect. Best motel I've stayed at ever. Would gladly stay there again if I'm out those ways. Come with everything I need such as the kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Five minutes walk the shop.. Love it. Thank you so much.

Apartment had great amenities inside the apartment however around was still under construction. We felt very confined to our room. Our room was never cleaned nor was towels and linen replaced during our stay which was terrible! we had 2 children in nappies with us and really needed bin changes/fresh sheets and towels. We also wanted breakfast packs but was never able to find staff. Attempted to call reception multiple times and our phone calls went unanswered every time. Walked and waited by reception however no one came after standing around. Rubbish was stuck piling up in our room and we had to share and reuse 2 towels between 4, Uber eats was our most reliable source to have food brought to our room

Friendly and helpful staff made check-in smooth. Their knowledge of the local area and access to facilities was very good. This motel is in a quieter end of Dandenong, easy to find and easy access to and from the main roads.

Conveniently placed between my 2 projects in Melbourne. Facilities were excellent. My only criticism was the noise carrying from adjoining rooms.

'It was what you would expect from a Quest - easy to get to, clean, quite, bed was great, close to railway station - I would certainly book again when in the area.

Spacious room with all the essentials, coles supermarket close by and lots of take away shops options.

We like a quiet room away from the main road and this motel has these along the side street and around the back.

Disappointing

The tv didn't work or the aircon. The shower poured water on to the floor of the bathroom due to the positioning of the shower heads. For a standard room at $155 we were disappointed as we have stayed at many quest services before.

Room condition

Toilet would not flush properly. .Curtain's hanging from rod. Iron faulty leaked lucky not to get burnt

Room was clean and comfortable with good facilities. They provided us with a crib for our baby. The only negative thing is the lady on reception when we checked in should have let us know how to enter the building when we got back late at night. We fumbled around for 10minutes with a 3 month old baby before realising there was a code on the keys. Sounds simple but when you’ve got a baby whose crying you don’t think straight, so it would have been nice to just know.

Was in a convenient place for us.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was very relaxing, had everything we needed, and bed was really comfortable and clean. Thank you.

We stay here when in Melbourne

We have stayed at this property quite a bit & find it well suited to families.

Supporting service

Although initially the room we were placed in was right next to a young family with a distressed child, and so rather noisy, staff very willingly shifted us to a quieter room, which to our surprise was bigger and beautifully comfortable.

Late night stress.

After hours check did not work. We could not get our key from the keysafe despite following instructions to the letter. The room stunk of cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. We could not sleep, it was a really bad experience for us.

Not satisfied

The furniture im lounge of my apartment felt dated and old. There were cracks in the bathroom tiles and soap dish. Most importantly, there is no housekeeping on Sunday or public holidays which I was not informed of when I checked in or on webpage. It was annoying because there were ants in my room and kitchen. Also, nobody answered the after hours phone and no one returned the message I left behind.

Good overall standard

Stayed for one night, parking was easy to use. Room was well presented and clean, staff friendly, only negative was that the shower was very sensitive and hard to control temperature. Overall positive and would stay there again.

Good value for money

Our main requirement for travelling these days is a two bedroom place. A lot of places we have stayed at have been two separate rooms joined together by a main corridor/entrance. This place was actually a two bedroom room with only one main access door. Brilliant! Exactly what we needed. They also provided a portable cot for no additional cost. This allowed us to have the second room set up with the cot for our toddler who slept soundly. Even though we were on the ground floor facing the street - the curtains, windows, and walls did a good job in keeping the noise down so the little one wasn't disturbed. Both parents managed a great sleep as well! Having a bath tub in one of the bathrooms was good as it allowed us to bath our little one. The breakfast packs they provide aren't lavish (ceral, milk, drink, snack/fruit) but they really don't need to be although some might find the cost is probably a little expensive but the convenience of it all was fantastic. The staff were also very lovely. It was also very easy to enter/exit after hours. There was also plenty of outdoor parking.

Good hotel for short stays

Needed a good hotel close to family and this fit the bill. Very clean and comfortable and the staff were always friendly. Rooms advertised as renovated but our kitchen was a little old compared to families but was still functionally. Pool was a bonus and kids loved it however we could only use it 1 day out of 4 as it was a bit too dirty. Had 3 staying in room (child on rollaway) but only got supplied with 2 towels. Called reception for another and was advised it would be received when room was serviced (which was daily) but it never arrived. Over all a comfortable stay and not too noisy.

Great place!

Centrally located for our family holiday. Rooms nice and clean with friendly service from the staff with any request that we had. Kitchenette was very handy and suitable for the family. Pool was the only thing that was a little downer as its not heated so it was cold for the kids. But overall the family really enjoyed the place!

Good service easy check in and out, good sized room and facilities, pool area , Location close to motorways and mall and market just down the road. Only issue been 2 days of cooking smell throughout Hotel.

Overall pretty good

The room was comfortable and generally clean. Fairly quiet location so a good night sleep. Only complaint is the cutlery in the kitchenette wasn't clean...I could actually wipe them cleaner with my finger so needed to wash them all before using them...luckily there was a dishwasher!

Not the best neighborhood

First the staff are great and very helpful. The moved me to a better room when the one I was placed in was too noisy. The hotel itself is ok, basic but clean and maintained, however the location is interesting... The hotel is very close to a major road. This makes units near the road noisy. There isn't a restaurant on site so breakfast will be at other locations. If you do not have a car, walking in the neighborhood might be more than you anticipated. The neighborhood is messy, with the occasional vandalized vehicle. There are street people hanging out at the Coles and I was approached by a local "selling" something... Just be aware.
