Cosy and beautiful. With a traditional “inn” feel and look, so closed to the cathedral.
Great property and location for my two night stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the evening meal I had in the restaurant was delish.
Seeing from outside I was not convinced but the service and the room was great. Plenty of great pillows, an amazing bathroom . The negative point is to carry on heavy bags to the second floor.
Great pub, great staff. Easy walk to all areas of interest.
I'd stay here again
Very central location, walk to historical pubs, cafes and Salisbury cathederal. Stone henge is a 20minute drive away. Hotel has no lift and no opening windows, upper area is a maze so could be a fire trap in an emergency. Nice friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and everything well laid out and presented. Parking is some 200 metres away, which is fine since hotel is very central, but you can park on side street drop off luggage and then park the car in car parking space.
Lovely hotel in a very convenient location.
Staff friendly and helpful, facilities great, hotel close to amenities in centre of Salisbury, if I visit again would definately stay again.
Very convenient. Small room but comfortable
really friendly staff, nice room, good location. would recommend
Unfortunately we had a room at the front of the hotel and it was constant noise from 10.30 pm plus 7am in the morning a car or house alarm was constantly going off every few minutes for quite awhile and after paying £121 for the room i thought breakfast would be included . Couldnt fault the breakfast though it was lovely , lots of choice
Lovely large room and centrally located hotel.
Really enjoyed staying there. The food was delicious and the room was quite comfortable and clean.
Clean, comfy room no noise or smells … friendly staff and amazing room cleaner. Keyhole is slightly difficult as so close to door but no complaints … breakfast was tasty too
Very nice room, comfy beds. Breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely stay again.
The room is nice, clean and comfortable. We made a good decision.
Excellent Pre Cruise Alternative.
Staff was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. They were so concerned when our luggage was “delayed” by BA. They helped us a lot. We are so glad we decided for our two nights pre cruise to stay in Salisbury rather than in London, the Cathedral, Stonehenge among other reasons. I Ioved my English Breakfast in Quodos which by the way have an excellent Bar and happy Hour.
Qudos
Very comfortable room that was well appointed in a great location with very helpful and friendly staff.
helpful staff comfortable room good location for city centre
Love the staff all very helpful
Very good
An absolute gem, loved it, great location too
We stayed in the suite,no 25, top floor. Very, spacious, beautifully furnished, newly decorated, absolutely spotless, so quiet and huge comfortable bed. Loved the complimentary wine and coffee machine. Vanesss was very helpful and efficient. Room was replenished and refreshed every day.
Staff very nice. Bar menu. Narrow steep stairs to rooms.
Amazing accomodation with delicious food but the heart and sole of the place was Ellie whose five star customer service was excellent.
The room was a perfect size for our family visit. The staff were very welcoming. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant; the starters were wonderful but the main meals were poor. The pork belly was far too fatty and the southern fried chicken burger was over cooked.
Everywhere was clean and fresh. Lots of little extras like a coffee machine with a generous supply of pods, usb points by the bed, plenty of fluffy towels. The only negative was parking - we booked it but couldn’t access it until the 2 o’clock check in. Most hotels let you park early if there are spaces.
This place is the best Nice rooms, great shower! Bar, restaurant, everything, The staff were amazing! Nicest people you could ever hope to meet Qudos!
Modern room and great location.
Qudos has a lovely renovated interior with high ceilings and excellent service from staff. Little loud on a Friday night but simply because it’s a central location. They do have double pane windows to block out the noise… we just had to crack one to get some air in at night! Would stay here again!
Will definitely be back
Very smooth stay. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast at very reasonable price. Great location within walking distance of all city amenities and places of interest.
Beautiful bedroom, really clean.
Our stay at Qudos
Overall we had an excellent stay. Everything was spot on. Bit more detail to the paintwork would be great. The only downside was the view from the window overlooked the extractors from the kitchen and quite noisy only rooftops were visible which was a shame. Couldnt fault the breakfast ..excellent.
Close to the town centre
Best Sunday Carvery
Great location, professional and friendly staff, comfy bed and excellent shower. Small negative - only a coffee machine and no kettle. Hot water through coffee machine does not make good tea. Be aware there is no lift. Be also aware their Sunday carvery is the best.
A really comfortable hotel, close to the market square so an easy walk to all the sights.
This is an unexpected gem of a property above a pub in the centre of Salisbury. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped, with a number of quaint touches. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended.
The hotel was in an excellent location, but parking was an issue. Luckily a member of staff jumped in the car and showed us where to park. We were astonished to find that our room was at the very top of several flights of stairs. Fortunately a very nice waitress carried some of our luggage upstairs for us. The room was lovely and was actually a suite. However the coffee pot did not work and the young man who came to look had no idea how to work it. However, he did manage to get the tv in the sitting room working. Unfortunately I had made an error in the booking and we had to change rooms. The cleaner was extremely nice and helpful and moved our luggage to No 26. We were shocked to find that this room, although only half the size, was the same price as No 25 with two rooms. When we asked we learnt that on Saturday the price jumps from 118 pounds to 153 pounds. An enormous jump. Better shower in 26 but one of the beside table lamps needed a new bulb. We were there in mid-November, so I dread to think what the prices would be like in summer. The Hotels.com website is very misleading and doesn't show what the final price would be. Good dinner the first night and good breakfasts, again with lovely staff to serve us.
Nice Hotel in Heart of Salisbury
Qudos is a very nice choice of hotel for a stay in Salisbury. Central location within easy walking distance of the cathedral, nice room and an excellent bar-restaurant.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Quaint little hotel situated inside a public house. The staff were very friendly and our room was good. The only downside is the hotel is situated on a main road so it is somewhat difficult to drop off bags before you get a ticket. We hadn’t booked parking but luckily they had space for us in their car park (£7.50) which is a 5 min walk away.
Although the weather was very hot we had a fan in our room. Breakfast was excellent. Location was fantastic and the staff were amazing and very helpful.
The staff made us feel so welcome! The room was neat and clean. The bar downstairs was nice for a drink and the hotel was close to good restaurants and shopping. Great place!
Room was spotless and the staff were great. They let me check in super early and were really helpful. Beds were super comfy!
Fantastic stay, great food and drinks. The staff was great!
Clean, friendly and helpful staff, convenient, comfortable bed, roomy for British standards
We enjoyed our 3 night stay was very nice and the room was great
Qudos was excellent all round really enjoyed our stay
Excellent hotel in the town center
The hotel is within 10 minutes walking distance from the train station. When returning from old Sarum with the public RED buses, the bus stop is just outside the hotel. The family room is clean with comfortable beds. The double bed, however, is not Queen size. There are generous free coffee and tea sachets and milk as well as water bottles in the room. The staff is friendly. There is no left luggage storage room but the staff put our 2 pieces of luggage behind their 'desk' in the bar. There is a Tesco supermarket which closes at midnite in the weekdays opposite the hotel. And numerous restaurants and pubs nearby.
Great sized room and comfortable bed. Located above a pub/restaurant but not loud. No lift and a few stairs in staying on the second floor.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Gave us directions to tour bus to The Cliffs of Moher and it was very pleasant. They also helped us get laundry done at the connecting hostel. Bed not so comfortable. Great location in the city.
Stayed overnight but was very impressed on the cleanliness and attention to detail. Recommended
Perfect location, right in the centre of Salisbury. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Although there was a lively atmosphere in the bar and restaurant, this could not be heard in our room.
Gastro Pub Hotel
Excellent stay. Pub Hotel. Great , friendly helpful staff. Parking was not straight forward. Check with hotel.
Great location, great place
Everyone was lovely! Great breakfast.
Had a fantastic time at Qudos. My only concern was the shower pressure was VERY weak in the bathroom. But everything else was great.
We came for an evening event and stayed overnight. Quorum is really conveniently placed near the long stay central car park and the town. Room was in fact a suite, superbly clean. The staff were great and the breakfast spectacular value.
Excellent stay with a great Breakfast!
We were running late for checkin however the team stayed and waited until we arrived. Great service
Amazing room and staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and fresh room
A lovely hotel with friendly staff. The room was a good size but had no storage space for clothes other than a wardrobe- no shelves and only 1 small drawer.
Absolutely outstanding hotel perfectly located for Salisbury centre Stayed for 2 nights Helpful, friendly and polite staff/owner who go above and beyond to help you We have a very large vehicle which we really struggle to park The owner went out of his way to sort it for us The room was beautiful, very clean and had everything in you needed The breakfast was beautiful and very well presented Wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the qudos again it’s a credit to you all Andrea and John Mullarkey
Very good
Great location. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Exactly what we wanted
Staff excellent. Appreciated the staff delivering luggage to our rooms and to the car on our departure. Room lovely. Stairs a bit of a problem. No lift. Disappointed wth the house wine. Great location. Nice refurbishment of the old building. Great stay.
Excellent service, great food, perfectly sized room! Would definitely book again!
Comfortable bed, decent sized room with iron/ironing board and safe. However, no air conditioning, so can be rather warm in summer. Overall, good value.
Excellent accommodation and customer service, good facilities and location
Great atmosphere and live music, good food and large spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely room!
The room was really lovely! And the service was good too. The breakfast was much better than most. I am not a fan of pubs, so I guess walking into a pub atmosphere and then walking up the usual slightly worn carpeted staircase is not for me. But if you like pubs and inns, you will like this!
Nice central location, friendly helpful staff. Didnt watch the live music ourselves, you could hear it from the room but we had been told about it on checkin and it was all over by closing time so wasnt a bother
Great staff and service as always. Only thing is the shower pressure is terrible but I think that’s more to do with the area and probably can’t be fixed?
Excellent central location and for the price, very good value rooms.
College reunion- 49 years!
Very friendly staff, terrific room, good beers and nice breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.
Town centre venue
Staff were very attentive. Good clean modern room. As mentioned it’s a live music venue so don’t go if you want an early night. We enjoyed band and slept well. Chose because of location.
Nice clean and great location. Great breakfast and bar. Would recommend
Perfect location and room/bathroom in excellent condition! Would recommend! Staff extremely helpful!
only the internet is weak.
Great hotel with such friendly and helpful staff! The hotel is centrally located in Salisbury and easily walkable to food, drinks and area attractions. The bar located within the hotel was awesome. Charlie was very helpful and provided us with great information in the surrounding area and also London. Would definitely stay again!
Unique property, welcoming staff. It was Sunday, so there was no live music, but still a bit of street noise.
Lovely room and bathroom. Comfy bed though haven't slept in a double for a while. Window kept rattling. Breakfast was very good, really fresh.
Bedroom and en-suite were excellent. Breakfast delicious.
Host was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. Excellent room at fantastic value
Stay at Qudos!
The staff were kind and reasonably attentive. However, when we arrived in the room, the curtain was falling away from the rail and this was left to us to fix. We were not told in our booking schedule that live music would be played on Friday and Saturday nights. However, it did stop bang on 11.30pm. Not sure this hotel would suit someone who wanted an early night and early start! But, very centrally located, so that was very good.
Very helpful service and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent. The property was very close to the downtown core. Unfortunately the room was quite small by North American standards.
Lovely large B&B. Helpful staff. Relatively spacious room, clean well-appointed bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Fifteen minute walk to center city (downhill going to town). Parking available (but tight spots). Overall, a great place.
Thumbs up
Only stayed one night, but very friendly hosts, room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was fresh and great value, I’d recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay that’s very close to the town centre and train station
Lovely big rooms, beautiful character rooms, tastefully decorated. Comfortable huge bed! Room felt cold when we entered, however, once we had turned the radiators on the rooms were lovely and warm. Unfortunately our bath hot tap did not work :( which I had not realised until the morning. We would certainly stay here again as it is very convenient for the city centre and the music in the bar was brilliant.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms have been recently refurbished although they are a bit on the small side. You need to pre-book parking, which I didn't realise and thus didn't do, however, there is a large public car park a block away which is free from 15:00->8:00 the next day at least. Food in the restaurant is very good (awesome burger!), and you get 20% off if you are a guest. The heated bathroom mirror is a nice touch too.
Great location
Ideal location for the town, we booked parking too. Service was great. Room was small but modern and ok. Breakfast was £7.95 and great value. Would stay here again
Close to city centre. Newly refurbished room with all facilities, Great staff, pleasant stay.
Revisit
Good
I was greeted with much charm, I was made to feel special. Beautiful room Clean comfortable. Loved the Retro furniture suited the building interior . Food excellent.
Great location. Awesome staff. Parking isn’t great. You can park for free, if you can find street parking, but only from 8p-8a. Which means that you have to arrive late and get up and out early. Your other option is to pay £7.00 or about $9.00 to park a block away. But they only have 4 spots so if they are taken you are out of luck.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of it.
Lovely stay!
My husband, sister and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Wonderful hotel and restaurant/bar. We had 2 rooms and they were both immaculate, and fresh, Very roomy, windows that opened, and spotless bathroom. Restaurant and bar were lovely, had dinner and drinks twice, terrific service and food, breakfast offered full breakfast or fruit, croissants, etc. Would recommend highly and would stay again. Close to town center, ATM, food store, bus service and train station, Staff was wonderful and friendly.
Traveling to Stonehenge
The bed was excellent as were the staff we stayed in Room 111. It was good to see the festival that was of the French.
nice hotael handy for town and rail
great one night stay came for concert in town will come again if needed
Qudos to Qudos
Quirky Hotel. Entirely satisfactory and central to Salisbury. Reasonable prices, food good.
Lovely hotel
My friend and I only had one night in Salisbury as we were travelling across the UK and I’m so happy we stayed here. Hotel staff were lovely, the room was spacious, clean and modern. When I return to explore Salisbury more I will certainly stay here again.
Great room above a pub/bar. Room was very clean and quiet. Centrally located. We really enjoyed it. Our main reason for visiting Salisbury was to go to Stonehenge and it worked out perfectly!
Central, comfortable, friendly, good food, WOW !
The triple occupancy family room was more like a suite : big to huge, with excellent furnishing and an impeccable bathroom. We arrived late, in the rain, so the possibility of having a very decent pub dinner without going outside was a definite plus. Andy (host) is as friendly and obliging as possible, and Shelby (bar staff) is adorable. A very definite recommendation.

Recommend the Qudos
Lovely hotel 26 rooms. 4min walk from long stay carpark. 6min walk to city centre. Bistro downstairs serves lovely food, lots to choose from including veg options.
