Great place to stay

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very small for 6 people. It would have been nice to have a privacy curtain on each bed. Also we had to move one of the bunks to retrieve something that had fallen behind the bed and it was very dirty. Obviously they never clean between the beds and walls. The elevator worked about 50% of the time. Staff was helpful in making sure I could use it. The location was great. In Old town, very close to the tram and market. Very walkable area.

I recently spent an enjoyable couple of nights in this hostel. It's a nice, friendly hostel in a great central location. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The breakfast was pretty good which included fruit and also, free tea/coffee all day which is a nice extra as not all hostels provide this. I needed some help a few times and the staff were really excellent at this, in particular Martha and Leire where they allowed me to use the hostel laptop for a short time to do things instead of on my mobile making it easier for what I had to do. They also gave great recommendations re extra bus companies I wasn't aware of and good places to eat. There were only a few things I didn't like (as overall I enjoyed my stay in the hostel): As others have mentioned, the lower bunk. Normally, I always request this as I am an older traveller and it is usually beneficial but in this instance not, as awkward getting up (didn't realise this beforehand as not usual in hostels). Also, the main thing I didn't like was there were no security locks on the shower doors in the unisex toilet/shower rooms. I found this really annoying and unsafe for women especially late at night when less people using them. (This is 2024 and is a serious matter so should be taken seriously for women's safety!). I think I mentioned this when I stayed here years ago but nothing seems to have changed. It's a pity as it is a really nice hostel otherwise.

It's centrally located in the old town. Walking distance to many places. Very helpful and friendly staff. Free breakfast, but it's not rich enough.

comforters was stained badly. i went to talk to the staff she just said sorry and got me new one, then it's was so noises someone called police and they don't have receptionist at night

Lovely time!

Lovely little hostel in a great location, right in the middle of the old town. Met some great people and the free breakfast was a bonus!

Cozy and comfy!

This place was GREAT!! Such a good vibe. Huge comfy commmon area and kitchen as soon as you walk in with comfy seating that looks out into the road. Plus there’s free coffee and tea all day (plus free breakfast)… you could hang out all day in the common area and people-watching the street. Which many did! It was a nice place to make friends. And prob the street would stop snd peer in Bc the place is just so cozy comfy. The rooms are clean and warm. Only thing is the bathrooms are cold and also co-Ed so that can be weird but honestly wasn’t much of an issue. The staff was SO nice!

Great hostel in old town Bilbao

Very nice hostel in a very nice location in old town Bilbao. The staff were all very friendly. There was an included breakfast with many choices. Very updated amenities. Thank you!

Perfect location

José was super nice and helpful the whole stay and the location is perfect! Cute rooftop terrace and small TV room if needed. There is toast, jam, cereal and coffee for breakfast, perfect for the easy going backpacker. Definitely would stay here again if I'm Bilbao.

Family overnight stay

Welcoming friendly check in with good tips about local sightseeing and eating. Very clean and comfortable bunk beds. We would thoroughly recommend this place.

Well located hostel with helpful staff

It’s a lovely hostel. The room is cozy and the staff are very helpful. It is perfectly located next to the Mercado de la Riberia. Everything in the old town is walking distance.

Good stay but..

The front desk staff is the best I've experienced in a hostel, very informative and attentive, willing to help you with all your questions. Bathroom should be cleaned in the morning. Not in the late afternoon. I showered the night before, there was hair all over the floor, the rest of the bathroom had the floors all wet and dirty from shoe marks, and when I went to use the bathroom the next day around 1pm, it looked exactly the same, actually dirtier.

Everything was excellent. İt's located in the middle of old town. Very helpful staff. Price is excellent and breakfast is included. Very clean and comfortable hostel. Very cozy. Highly recommend 😊

찬절하고 편리함

騒音さえなければ…

清潔で、立地もよかった。スタッフはフレンドリーで、朝食も付いていてコスパ良いと思いました。 しかし、週末の夜に泊まったので、ホテルの前を通る人たちの騒音で夜中1時を過ぎるまで眠れなかった。同部屋の人たちも音や光に配慮のない人たちだった。

El hostel estaba bien: limpio y cómodo. Muy bien situado (cerca del Mercado de La Ribera) pero sin ruidos ni molestias similares.

hostal con estupenda ubicacion, que nos ha dado el servicio que necesitabamos en nuestro viaje. por poner una pega, el personal de limpieza nos ha despertado hasta en tres ocasiones por entrar sin llamar a la habitacion sin saber si estabamos o no... repetiria

Buena opción

El hostel está bien situado,junto a la catedral, muy bonito y cuidado. Pero deberian ofrecer toallas gratuitas y jabon para las duchas. Aunque fuera incluido en el precio.

El personal siempre atento, educado y amable. Habitación confortable, baños dirmpre limpios y desayuno muy bueno

Bien placé mais les chambres sont trop petites

Bien placé mais c'est vraiment un très très spartiate. les chambres sont tellement petites, qu'on ne peux même pas se croiser au niveaux des lits.

La mejor opción hostel en el casco viejo

No me gusto la habitación. Dos literas en el suelo. Una distancia entre literas de 45 cm. No poder sentarse en una silla o una banqueta. En resumen incomodo.

Großes Hostel mit mieser Hygiene in guter Lage

Das Hostel ist sehr groß und hat fünf Etagen. Der Lobbybereich ist hübsch gestaltet, aber der Rest vom Gebäude ist ziemlich seelenlos. Die Badezimmer sind größtenteils dreckig. In dem Bad auf meiner Etage gab es während meines gesamten Aufenthalts nie Seife. Die Duschen sind spartanisch und haben keine Ablage. Frühstücksbuffet ist kostenlos, aber mit mangelhafter Auswahl und Qualität. Die Lage in der Altstadt ist perfekt und die meisten Mitarbeiter sind nett.

Sitio agradable aunque rudimentario

El sitio muy bien ubicado y la recepcion muy bonita. Por lo demas, bastante rudimentario incluso para un hostal: unas sabanas muy dificiles de poner, algunos nórdicos demasiado finos. Alguna noche pasamos frio. La cocina tenia lo justo, la nevera muy pequeña. El desayuno estaba incluido, pero durante nuestra estancia se acabó el café y las servilletas. Había que poner la vajilla sucia en el lavavajillas, pero este no se ponía en marcha todos los dias ni se vaciaba regularmente la basura. El dueño majo, pero apenas aparecía y nos hubiese gustado que nos diese mas información turística. De todas maneras hay que decir que estuvimos muy a gusto, que nos dejaron toallas pese a que estas eran de alquiler y que en la quinta planta habia una sala de estar y un balcón muy agradables que supusieron un gran plus para nosotros.

Buena opción de alojamiento por ubicación, personal muy amable. Deben mejorar el aseo de baños.

Lo recomiendo

Muy buena ubicación, en el casco viejo de Bilbao y muy cerca la Catedral De Santiago. Habitación compartida para 4 un poco pequeña, pero muy bueno baño y perfecta limpieza. Agradable cocina y salón compartido. Desayuno básico, pero bueno.

Hostel bien situé dans la vieille ville. Equipe agréable, attentive, efficace. Propre. Bonne convivialité entre clients, jeunes et moins jeunes.

Muy buena ubicación, conexiones de tranvia y metro al lado. Esta en muy buen estado. Lo mejor son las zonas comunes que tienen mucho encanto. Y lo mejor el personal que nos atendió con mucho cariño y nos dió mucha informacion de Bilbao.

Nice stay

Nice hostel, great staff and big dorm for 8 persons. Perfect location. However, only 2 showers and 2 toilets per floor, not very comfy.

El staff agradable y muy atento. La habitación en excelentes condiciones de limpieza. Tuvimos un pequeño malentendido al momento del check in pero el personal de Hotels.com se comunicó de inmediato al hotel y se arregló el detalle sin mayor problema.

helpful staff. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms. However bedrooms are way to small. In a room of four the bed are so close that you can barely walk in between. Also, a staff member was with us in the room she was the unrespectful one turning on lights at 1h am and making a lot of noise. When it comes f4om another guest, there isn't much you can do but from staff I find it isn't acceptable

Hostel im Herzen der Altstadt

Zweckmäßiges, sauberes Hostel in sehr guter Lage. Bars, Restaurants und Geschäfte in direkter Umgebung. Gute Anbindung zu Bus und Metro. Junges, freundliches Personal (mehrsprachig). Einfaches Frühstück (im Preis mit inbegriffen) bestehend aus Kaffee, Tee, Toastbrot, vers Marmeladen, Müsli und frisches Obst. Das Zimmer bot leider nur wenig Komfort: - Zimmer sehr klein (sechs Personen) - keine Möglichkeit etwas aufzuhängen (z.B. Nasses Handtuch, Regenjacke etc.) - Matratze war durchgelegen Das Gemeinschaftsbad war sehr klein - keine Ablagemöglichkeit, keine Möglichkeit ein Handtuch aufzuhängen - Duschtüren ließen sich nicht verriegeln - Badezimmerbeleuchtung defekt - Wandhalterung der Dusche defekt

Schönes kleines Hostel inmitten der Altstadt

Das Hostel ist sehr gut gelegen, inmitten der Altstadt. Freundliche und hilfreiche Rezeption. Zimmer und Nasszellen waren sauber. Für einen Städtetrip nach Bilbao sehr zu empfehlen.
