Clean room with nothing broken. Strong wifi and cable TV. AC, mini fridge, and hot water were all fine, no issues. The ice machine on the first floor worked fine and was a great convenience. Included breakfast was good.

Overall just very dirty. Roach in the bathroom. And the walls look like they have never been cleaned. Not worth it. Spend a little more and go somewhere else.

Absolutely disgusting. Roaches watching there eggs hatch.(no joke) Only reason I didn't walk out is because I was so tired and I was by myself just to sleep. It's talking there.Thank god for the ac that worked to cut down on the smell. Disgusting stains on the vanity. Walls and ceilings were marred. i can't imagine why they would think this was a presentable room to rent. Or even close to presentable. I know $,100 is not a lot to spend on a hotel room.But you would think you would get a clean safe environment that doesn't stink and doesn't have bugs.

Extremely dirty hotel

My wife and son checked into this hotel. They had to immediately leave and check into another hotel because the Quality Inn in Cullman, AL was disgustingly dirty. There was hair on the toilet. The shower had in it. The sheets were dirty. The walls had hand prints on them. There was food on the wall next to the garbage can. The wall next to one of the beds had poop stains on it. Bottom line: Don't stay here.

Our stay at the Quality Inn in CULLMAN, AL. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL. We had a reservation and then when got there they couldn't find it. We got charged twice then I had to call them when we got home. We were there BCUZ our son was getting married, and I was so sick for those 2 days BCUZ I have cancer and the chemo I had taken the day before made me sicker than usual. The bathroom had hair in the tub which is disgusting. We would have left on Saturday after the wedding but I had gotten sicker and weaker than before we left for the wedding. I couldn't make it home w/o lying down. It just wasn't a good two days and nights in that motel. Just wasn't satisfactory at all.. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Ice machine upstairs was broken. Mattresses slid around on the foundations. Stairs were dangerous as the steps are not of uniform heights. There were no tissues in our room and no shampoo in the dispenser. Bathroom light automatic exhaust fan was very noisy.

We stayed in a corner room on the first floor. The room was relatively clean but looked dated. The experience would have been fine other than the fact that we woke up the next day with what appeared to be bed bug bites on our bodies. We were lucky enough to catch it before leaving the room and were able to pack up everything to keep from taking anything back home with us.

We had to carry our luggage and things up a large flight of stairs. We forgot something and had to climb them 3 times. The room looked run down, holes in the walls, and a very large soft spot in the floor under the carpet by the heater/air conditioner. The bed was comfortable and there were shampoo and conditioner in the shower/bathtub.

Quality Inn Cullman

I picked this one thinking I could count on Quality Inn being a bit nicer and more “quality”. It was okay. The rooms seem dated but it was comfortable enough. The linens were more than acceptable. Convenient location off of 65.

The down blanket was yellow!!! It was originally white. The sheets didn’t fit the bed! The mattress cover had something all down the side of it. I don’t know if it was vomit or food. Grossed me out when getting in and out of the bed due to the sheets didn’t cover the mattress cover. So I was scared I was going to touch whatever that was in the mattress cover. Carpet felt disgusting

We checked in late because we were traveling and I couldn’t even go inside the lobby to get the keys for our rooms, I was given our keys through what appeared to be bulletproof glass. I was never asked for my ID. The bed was awful and very loud with the slightest move. In one of the rooms we got, there was a bug that appeared to be a roach. About 4am I guess it was the garbage getting picked up and it was so incredibly loud and happened multiple times. People were walking by our window and overall it just not seem safe. We have stayed at other hotels in the area and never had a bad experience, but this was the only hotel that had rooms, I can see why. We were very ready to check out!

The property was very quiet and clean with many dining options within walking distance.it felt very safe with no suspicious people lurking around. The staff were all friendly. The room looked like it was freshly updated although the bed was not so good. The mattress sits on a metal frame and it was very hard. My back is killing me. The breakfast was absolutely horrible. If they feel confident serving that shame on them. There were cold hard small biscuits that appeared to be microwaved. The eggs were little round frozen things. The gravy was out of a can heated up in a crockpot. Honestly it looked days old. The apple juice out of the machine tasted sour almost like the inside of the machine was molded. Theres a dennys and a wafflehouse near by..m go there!

There was stinky food left in the refrigerator, so we asked for a new room. The new room had gum in the sink, otherwise the room was adequate. We were on the second floor and the balcony/walkway was littered with cigarette butts and food scraps, and plastic forks.

Property badly needs updating. The carpet was dirty and peeled off in some places, the bedside lamp is not working, the lamp shades are decorated with dust balls all around, the door to the room looked like it was badly beaten by a basebal bat or pried open, the privacy latch was gone. In the morning the breakfast looked so stale, the tiny biscuits were so hard, the premade eggs were like plastic hard, the gravy was runny and bland. No meat whatsoever. Everything else looked like it was served leftovers from previous days. Definitely not how we remembered it staying here a few year's ago. The only thing going was the location where it was thankfully close to other dining options. Otherwise, the property itself just needs a total overhaul.

The bedding was dirty it even had foot prints on it. The bath tub drained slowly. We booked a room for 4 people but only had towels and wash clothes for 3. The pool was the best part of our stay. You walk out the door and you could get a contact high.

Surprised by the good quality

Night clerk was very nice as she checked us in…I didn’t even have to ask what time breakfast was, she just freely gave the information…I don’t normally pick a quality inn, but it had good reviews, and the management was very responsive to those reviews…the surrounding area was pretty quiet…the room was extremely clean…the beds seemed to be on metal platforms that made a little noise as you moved around, but beds and pillows were super comfortable. Overall I was pretty impressed.

Not bad for a few nights. Convenient to dining and grocery needs. On the fence about price but it served it's purpose. It appeared most upgrades were done haphazardly. Would stay again but it would have to be a better price.

My family and I were staying here for the night to break up the drive on vacation. We were not expecting anything luxurious, but a place to sleep. However, there was very little quality at the Quality Inn. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, the walls were very thin so you heard any noise around you, the bathroom was dirty.

Hard to get to the property from the main highway

It was super frustrating the person who was putting out the breakfast, was coughing and sneezing on the food. It was disgusting! He walked out with a huge pan of scrambled eggs and squeezed right on it. He could not stop coughing and his nose was running. The person at the desk obviously heard this but did nothing about it. We were so grossed out we took our plates and dumped them in the trash!

Bad breakfast

The only comment I have is the breakfast was advertised as a full breakfast which we look for when we book. All there was was biscuits (no gravy) and small round things that were I guess eggs. There were muffins and cereal . That’s it. And juice and coffee. We would not book there again because of this.

The room needed repairs, paint was all chipped up, furniture was all scratched, lamp shades were all stained. Cleanliness of the room could use some deep cleaning, cob webs, dirt in all the baseboard corners, dirt in the dresser drawers. Has went downhill since our stay a few years ago. Not sure we will stay again.

We arrived at 5 and the first room they gave us the bed was not made, so I guess the room was not cleaned for the day. Our second room the sheets were very wrinkled which is unusual for a hotel. We were scared to use some of the wash cloths and hand towels. Some of them had brown stains on them. They need to buy new towels. There were lots of young guys hanging around drinking. Our bath was semi patched from a leak on the ceiling. The carpets were dirty. The hotel needs to be updated bad. We picked this hotel because it was a 7.6 rating out if 10, but it definitely was not. I would rate this a lot lower then your 7.6, more like a 6 if even that high.

Last minute, one night stay on way to Florida. No other hotels to stay at, due to spring breakers and snow birds traveling. We were thankful to get a room, but it was not pleasant. The smell was horrible. The air conditioner was set to 74, and you couldn’t turn it down lower, so it was very hot. The mini fridge was broken and there was a terrible smell coming from that as well. The sink was broken as well. Overall, very dirty and not taken care of. You felt dirty when you left. There were no other rooms available so we were thankful, but I would plan better next time and never stay here again.

Road trip

The hotel was clean and comfortable.

The room i was given a key to enter was not clean. Looked like someone was actually in the room at that moment. Luckily they weren't. Went back down and rita gave me a different room. The beds were made but the sheets were wrinkled like they had been rolled up in a ball for a week. My confidence in the housekeepers was shot. I slept on top of my coat in order to not make contact with the pillow.

It was clean and comfortable and very convenient to multiple restaurants which made it easy walking! The only thing was there were no elevators to access the upper levels!

Clean it was a little pricey

I normally am not critical about hotels… however, the light switch near bathroom shower was broken with open element which created an electrical safety hazard. Facility appeared dated from my point of view, the bathroom ceiling had an area that had gotten wet and the drywall debris was hanging, area around bathroom toilet paper rolls had not been thoroughly cleaned, the safety entrance door latch was not secure and had loose screws, upon entry into room I noticed an immediate pungent smell.

Disappointing. Booked a king bed room, but received a room with a queen. Hotel is very dated and needs a lot of TLC. Not worth the $ we paid for below average accommodation and sparse breakfast selections. Bed was just okay, bathroom tub wouldn’t drain, sink stopper was defunct, walls need repair/paint. Marginal at best.

Upon arrival I was made to sign a form saying smoking is not allowed in the room (I don’t smoke). The room smelled badly of stale cigarettes. I woke with a headache. The lamp by the bed and phone was dirty. The security latch was broken and unusable, which was not comforting to a woman traveling alone. I can say the bathroom was clean. Didn’t stay for breakfast because I just wanted to leave due to the cigarette smell.

The room was very clean. The noise factor was not good. Doors stick and make a lot of noise, so anyone going out or in made a large noise. Motors reving at various times through the night also disturbed sleep. The room smelled like it had been smoked in; in fact, there was a small burn hole in the middle of the duvet. We will not stay here again due to noise and oldness of the building.

Very unfriendly staff at check-in. Dirty walls in room-bugs were smashed on the walls. Stairs going to second level had a variety of “roses” which is not only dangerous, but against OSHA regulations.
