Staff could and should be kinder

Breakfast was always the same

Overall the hotel is good, in Perth city centre. Breakfast is not buffet and has very limited repetitive options. We had to park in a public garage despite having booked a slot because the hotel one was full. We booked a room for an extra night and they did not accomodate us staying in the same room.

ff know we needed to leave by 7am. This was ignored and we left feeling frustrated as we didn’t have time to complete our breakfast without haste. We won’t be coming back again. No water. No concierge just staff looking at peoples pile with replies up and down elevators

Early checkin charge

Hotel itself is ok - typical QT. The location is not the best - doesn’t deal that safe but rooms etc nice However, my biggest complaint and the reason I won’t stay here again is that I arrived early (~11am) and although my room was ready they charged me $30 an hour for early checkin… I find this disgraceful - they certainly didn’t offer me a $30 an hour refund when I checked out at 8am… I have no problem waiting for check in time if the room is not ready but to have the room available and ready and the. Charge to give early access really turned me off ever staying here again!

Nice Rooms and amenities. Common areas were very hot and not air-conditioned well.

Gorgeous boutique hotel with great rooftop bar, although sometimes we got served at our table and sometimes we had to go to the bar. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable, plus the facilities are really good. We had breakfast included which was convenient but the specific dishes could have been better - the panna cotta with granola is a bit dry, as was the pancake. Overall though it’s a lovely hotel.

Really a nice hotel to stay in witn an extremely comfortable room caring and helpful staff. Nic dinning facilities.

Front desk can be more customer friendly rather than being rude on face. Property is very good and loaction is good but front desk is ruining their reputation.

I love this hotel, it's my number one place to stay in Perth. Its romantic, moody and sexy. Can't fault anything.

A modern with good clean rooms, however limited meal options (i.e. finger food only, no meals), room keys failed twice, staff at front desk exhibited less than professional standards.

Hotel Service is back!!

Hooray for a real hotel with real hotel comforts. This group know how to make a guest feel like they are at home. Nothing here is generic and old school service is back at this great hotel. Beautiful rooms , with a minibar , quality bathrobes and linen. Happy staff 24 hours a day and easy (but moody) interiors. The included breakfast is alacarte (no buffet - thank goodness) and is of the best quality and even had a linen napkin. Location is easy and makes the journey to Perth well worth the trip. Thank you QT for adding back that special feeling into a hotel even if it is just for one night.

Hotel parking is quite excessive.

We were a party of 7 travelling together. The breakfast was amazing as was the dinner at Santini. Located conveniently close to the major shopping centre and only 20 minutes from the airport. Would definitely recommend

Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a good size and nicely appointed. The addition of the milk frother to go with the coffee machine was a bonus. Very quite for inner city position. Worth a stay.

Great location and easy to get to everything. Nice rooms.

We recently stayed at QT Perth. We found the room to be very clean and well maintained. However, we found staff at check in to be lacking - no information was provided regarding the wifi password and the gym and any other facilities. This information was not provided in the room either. Security and breakfast staff were not the friendliest. The lighting in our room was very dark. We found the hotel tacky and weird. We will not be returning.

Room no view. View of a brick wall. Breakfast supposed to be included but if you wanted a 2nd cup of coffee or an extra slice of bacon, et cetera you had to pay. Disgusting.Lights in room not very good it was very dark.

Very modern hotel with great restaurant. However it has parking available but doesn't mention it is $75 per DAY. beware. Also the decor is modern but dark room. Poor lighting, no light through window that has a big shutter on it. No desk in room for working which made this work trip very difficult. I would not stay again.

Unlike other QT hotels I’ve stayed in, they do not use the QT app, parking can be a headache if driving there and staying for a period of tine

Great staycation

We enjoyed our date staycation. Parking was disappointing at $75 a night so had to park up the road for $25. Check in was good, nothing outstanding but the room and experience enjoyable. Would come back so that’s says enough.

Samantha was amazing and extremely helpful. The room was lovely and we were very well looked after. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic, well appointed, clean and modern - Staff at dining areas and during organised event were extremely attentive and helpful, food and drink quality was very high. Only downside for the stay is the very limited ability to unload a car outside the hotel - There is no formal stopping area and it is on a very busy corner.

Fantastic hotel and location

A pleasant stay with holdbacks

Overall our stay was pleasant. Great venue, but reception and customer service was a total let down. We called twice for housekeeping during our stay for example the first call was made just after 7pm and was left waiting for more than 15mins to get someone to answer the call. I ordered room service for food and after an hour called the front desk as it had not been delivered only to be told the order was not put thru and they would talk to the person who took the order. We could have been waiting for food the whole night as we weren’t even advised that the order was put thru. Not being precious, but we paid a lot to stay at this 5 star establishment and was really annoyed at the subpar customer service from some of the hotel team, not all. All guests are your visitors and should be treated in the same manner. We hope the feedback will be taken as constructive criticism and worked on for improvement.

Wonderful hotel in the city centre

From checking in we were greeted by lovely staff, the hotel itself is very nice and quiet for being in the middle of the city the room was good sized and very clean I’ll definitely be back

A very stylish hotel, the room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The Santini restaurant was excellent, food to a very high quality and friendly staff. The Santini Bar was very atmospheric, well designed and great background music with friendly bartenders. We went up to the rooftop bar which was also very nice with great views over the city The Elizabeth Quay area is about a 10 minute stroll downhill and a shopping area literally on your doorstep. A great stay at a very stylish hotel!

We had an amazing weekend getaway at the QT. The hotel was superb with excellent service and dining options. The staff were very friendly and attended to our every needs with super quick response times

My partner was very unhappy about the room lighting having just the one low light setting. Made it very difficult to get ready for a night out. No proper light to do ones makeup. Ended up going to the rooftop bars accessible toilet and getting ready there with the vomit covered toilet. I understand it looks good aesthetically but having no good lighting does have its faults. Your cleaners must struggle to clean rooms properly as well in the moody light as well.

Our view was terrible for the room we paid for you would expect at least some sort of view instead what we got a view of a graffitied wall

Great location

The staff were so friendly and helpful and our room was beautiful. It was very funky with cool chairs and table by the window and a large spacious room and the bathroom was huge. Very cool all black and gold with a beautiful deep bath and separate rainfall shower and separate toilet. The lighting could be a little better in the bathroom or an additional light an option for doing make up. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location was ideal for our needs. About a 10min walk to Elizabeth Quay and a couple of minutes to the shopping malls and train station. We had hired a car but we didn’t really need to as we were mostly able to walk everywhere we want to go. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here and would love to stay again if we are ever in Perth in the future.

Good service, good food, great sleep

Nice and central, valet parking convenient for a charge, good coffee and adequate breakfast options ordered from a set menu. Rooms very compact but comfortable and nicely styled, staff all lovely, nice roof top bar for end of day rewind.

Comfort plus

QT was the perfect location for our stay, walking distance to shops, cafes etc. Highly recommend the restaurant on level one. For our room, we received an upgrade which is always a great start. The bed was super comfortable, room was spacious and nicely appointed as was the ensuite. The only thing that let it down was the room lighting I understand it compliments the style and theme but it was a struggle when brighter light was required. Friendly and professional staff, we'll stay here again.

Family vacation

We stayed in Perth with family for a week. Qt was perfectly located with access to shops, restaurants and everything we needed. Unfortunately check out was the only negative part of our Qt stay. I was told we were not charged for accommodation on arrival and would need to pay that. I showed the receptionist my bank receipt, showing it came out of my bank on the day we checked in. I was asked by the Duty Manager to forward a screen shot of that to the hotel so they could take it up with their accounts team. Mistakes happen but an apology and a more courteous handling of the issue would have gone a long way.

Funky vibes, staff need to be a bit more attentive

The room itself was great, but unfortunately we had some issues almost every night of our 3 night stay. The first night we had very loud and obnoxious guests above us which isn't the hotels fault, and our curtain was broken meaning light came through all night. It took several attempts to get someone to fix the curtain the next day. Unfortunately, we then discovered our wardrobe had a light sensor on it which made a clicking noise after you shut it, so at night this made it difficult to sleep. Again, we asked for someone to fix it but it never happened. We then had house keeping come to kick us out on the next day, even though we had one more night in the room. We had a back to back booking which we confirmed with the staff upon checking in, but apparent they didn't actually mark it, so we had housekeeping waking us up, and asking us to leave, and our key cards were disabled also. The hotel itself was lovely and the included breakfast was great, and can't fault the staff in the restaurant Felt the front desk/guest services staff could have been a bit more attentive to the issues we had. It certainly tainted our romantic stay for our 10 year wedding anniversary, especially considering the cost we paid for our stay.

What a shining pearl in the middle of Perth. The views from the room are great and the drinks and food at the hotel were great. I do have to say that my favorite part of the room was the amazing bathroom. The deep soaking tub and the rain showers were like a personal spa and the Dyson dryer was awesome

I stayed here for 3 nights. The property is more style than substance. The rooms are a tad small and quite dusty. The hair dryer in the bathroom us fantastic but not having a door on the loo was at times annoying. Also the room service menu wasnt great. Breakfast was good, you order off the menu. I ended up going back to perth but stayed in the duxton instead and it was far better.

Parking is false advertising

Arrived with a hire car to be told from the not so pleasant reception that parking is ‘valet’ and unavailable. If parking is needed it $60 per day and I would NOT have access to the car for the duration of the stay. Parking is simply an overpriced storage facility! The fact they say parking is available is a complete lie and false advertisement. The room was nice, yet small. The bath however was extremely dirty with stains covering the bottom. I refused to use it. For a 5 star hotel I’d expect better

Budget motel

The hotel looks really nice from the outside but the service and the staff and the hotel itself are 3rd rate. My initial room had a window that was completely blocked by slats in the outside of the window. When I asked for a room change they were initially accommodating but when the time came to change the room they were like “we’re fully booked”. After a lot of complaining they eventually gave me a better room but with a side of nasty attitude. In any case I would never stay here again.

We really loved the property but the room was really noisy. The room door was clad with timber on the outside facing the hallway which was warmer and in our room the temperature was cooler (21 degrees) so the door would creak continuously which made sleep difficult. Otherwise though loved the hotel and location.

Great weekend getaway!

The hotel team were friendly, helpful and very accommodating, we arrived on an early flight and they helped with an early check-in. Great central location for shopping, eating out and walking around in the CBD and a beautiful room with elegant furnishings. We enjoyed our stay.

The shower was difficult to manage and the floor could be very slippery.

A great spot in the centre of Perth close to the train station and bus stops. Museum is a 5 mins walk from hotel and there is a Woolworths close by to stock up on supplies! Hotel is very modern and has an amazing rooftop bar. We had a really big room and the bathroom is huge with a very deep bath. Only drawback was the lack of cupboard space for clothes, there is a wardrobe and a few drawers but not enough space for 2 people for 6 days. But I would highly recomend staying in this hotel.

Only a single person at the front desk with quite a few people waiting to check in. The person wasn’t overly helpful in providing information on the facilities in the hotel

The staff at the rooftop bar were lazy and more about giggling like schoolgirls and playing with their phones than looking after guests.

Perfect Stay

Had the loveliest time staying here! Loved the art deco theme & high quality finishes, service was impeccable and food/drinks were great. Bed & pillows were the comfiest! Perfectly situated as right across is the shopping district with lots of food options too. Will be back again!

Do not stay here ! Terrible customer service

I had terrible customer service from the check in team in the evening. Front house manager Rosa was very rude and treat me like a pick pocket. I will never stay here again. So disappointing. The night manager was very nice and tried to be understanding and offer some complimentary items but it is hard to fix what Rosa and her team did to me. I have never been treat like that before in my life. What an embarrassing place and they call it 5 star! What a joke!!!

Fabulous bed

Walkable. No proper breakfast options

After missing our flight to Broome we booked a night at the QT and on arrival we were exhausted. The staff were amazing and gave us a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon and gave us early check in. The room was spectacular and gave us the perfect place to rest before our flights the next day. We loved our experience!

No room service menus in room. No one at check in explained how to access this. No one from in room dinning would answer the phone for the whole 3 days I was there. No wifi in the rooms, how can a 5 star hotel not have wifi?!! Staff could also be friendlier. Disappointing stay.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Nice rooftop bar and restaurant with friendly staff.

Couldn't get enough of how nice it was, room service was a little slow to stock milk and such, but it is the only complaint I can think to make. The Santini bar and grill is beautiful, I recommend taking the rib-eye rare, or try the Yellowfin. There's also a lovely cafe around the corner called the Petition, shout out. The rooftop bar can't be missed, the cocktails are excellent. And the bed seemed to be glad to see me every time.

The style and design is fantastic and unique, our experience was not, from front desk forgetting to book us at the restaurant, to the restaurant not bringing the starters that were asked for, the bath taking so long to fill that the water was cooling quicker than it was filling. This property is unique and hip. Property was clean and was close to everything right in the middle of the CBD. We had a twin room. The single beds weren’t very comfortable. I think it would be a lot better to have 2 double beds, especially at such a nice property. Roof top bar was nice too.
