There is a railway track right behind & so noisy

Hygiene uncleanness

I stayed there with my family one night but the room was very bad very strong smell the bathroom was not hygiene everything was broken I was overall not happy with the service and I would not recommend it to anyone the place needs to be really fresh and needs a nice decoration not safe for family

Budget accomodation. Get what you pay for.

Old accomodation, budget. Though fairly clean.carpets stained. Right in the train line, 4 meters. so very noisy. Decent sized room.

The staff were very helpful. The room was smallish but had everything we needed.

The room it was small and some noise would have because it is located beside railway. But that's good price, and warm staffs.

Clean, nice room but noisy trains

It was a clean room, clean bathroom. In terms of comfort, the Hotel is located right in front of rail-tracks, so it's so noisy. You can't sleep at night as the trains pass through the entire night and day. Very busy railway. But the lady owner is very nice.

Good basic hotel close to capitals.

A good quality, basic room set up. All basic facilities provided. Staff are exceedingly friendly, helpful provide lots of information about points of interests and local scams to look out for. Ideal for those looking to explore and sight see regularly, not recommended for those preferring to stay in the hotel for long periods or expecting 5* service. I would more than happily return.

Convinient location to explore Ljubljana

it was my second stay in this cosy property , staff profesional , accomodation very clean , rooms small but all equiped also good wifi, served good breakfast in outside terace with a view to Smarna gora , peacefull location , disturbed with some passing train ... not disturbing at al , balance recived - paid very good ....

Out in the Sticks

Small, dank, filled with the smell of cleaning materials. had to leave after one night.

We couldn't find a budget hotel in Ljubljana, so stayed here, about 15 km away. It was older, a bit rundown, and right next to a train track. The room and bathroom were small for 4 adults, but wifi was good. Not a good value for the price. Lesson learned- book early!

Good for one day stopover

Owners are very kind and prepare everything very well. However, somewhat shortage such as noise, uncomfortable beds, steep steps, etc. can be minus factors. Anyway, comparing to its price, well-balanced deal!

Helped me out in time of need.

I had some car trouble and the staff was more than helpful in getting it taken care and putting me back on the road right away. The room was a bit crowded with the kids and our belongings but the stay was comfortable and we enjoyed the location of the place. It was perfect for what we had planned and worked out great for us.

Great place to stay

The service was outstanding. Very friendly staff and helpful as well. Easy place to reach from Ljubljana, just 15-20 minutes by bus and a short 10 minutes walk surrounded by beautiful view. I would stay here again for sure!

great service

We arrived late at the hotel because of traffic accident. The staff waited for us for an hour & even made us pizza when the kitchen is closed. The room was nice and cosy.

Cosy, friendly ....

Not far away from down town-center Ljubljana,just off the road in green fields at Ljubljana suburbs, good wifi and helpful stuff ...

The hotel was OK, the room room was very dated and felt cramped. Shower head was at my hip level and had to crouch when getting near head of the bed due to slanted roof. It didn't live up to expectations from other reviews, but 2 night stay at a reasonable price and free parking and good wifi.

Home away from home! Lovely staff! Met our expectations, actually exceeded in terms of staff friendliness and helpfulness. Very convenient for the airport, town, supermarket and motorways. Fantastic wi-fi in our room. Free town map and very helpful advice from Matea. Loved this place and will definitely use again. Warning: this might not be suitable for light sleepers as it is next to a railway track but if you are like me who's gone once my back touches that bed, then this place would be a nice base for exploring the beautiful Slovenia.

Great place for the $

Clean. Safe with in close driving distance of Ljublana. Breakfast was okay but a little pricey although convenient. I read the other reviews about the train being close and did not understand how accurate that was. Weirdly enough, it didn't really bother me. Great place for the amount of money and a short stay.

Nice place, nice people

Pri Ancki Hotel is just outside of Lubjljana. Is it is a great option to staying closer into the city and offers good value. It is a well maintained place with a family run feel. We were running late for check-in and I called ahead... the owner waited up for us to arrive. The rooms are basic, but very clean. We did not have breakfast, so I am not able to comment on that. The one thing I read a lot on reviews was about issued of train noise. Train tracks do run next to the hotel, however, the wall of the hotel are concrete and the windows have excellent sound insulation. We could very faintly hear the train from time to time, but it never woke either of us up and was never bothersome. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend to other.

The staff were very helpful. The hotel is very near a railway and trains run through the night. But the surrounding areas are very nice

Good short stay

Good location on the main road to Ljubljana, just a few minutes by car to the city, the staff was very helpfull and nice.

Bring earplugs and a sense of humour

We were forewarned by other travellers on the internet that the hotel was situated next to a railway and that there would be some noise, so we brought earplugs. However, the earplugs didn't really work, so we did suffer some noise in the night. The hotel is literally next to the railway - I could have leaned out of the window and just about touched the trains. They were noisy, but critically, the rails are continuously welded rails - so that the trains don't go 'clickety-clack' - they just go 'zhoom.' I found the closeness of the trains comedic and oddly comforting (I like trains), but I guess that other travellers could get a bit annoyed. We didn't sleep especially well, but then this is a cheap hotel. The room was clean (we stayed with two adults - and two children in a bunk bed - the upper bunk did not have a side on it, so that it was actually dangerous - you could easily have fallen out) and the breakfast was adequate. To be honest, given the choice, I wouldn't stay there again (but it was adequate for the quite cheap price). It was a benchmark for all the other hotels we stayed at on our trip!

Terrible location. will not sleep

Overpriced, located between a main road and a major European main link streaming to Ljubljana. Spent two sleepless nights, awaken by frequent rumbling trains. Our first receptionist was helpful and a delight, the following day, her replacement's attitude bordered on rudeness. We were charged an exorbitant amount for a bottle of mineral water, six fold of what one buys in a store.

Hotel 1 meter from the railway (no kidding)

We have chosen this hotel almost last minute (few options were available only) for an overnight stay during tour around central Europe. This is rather old farm style house, and the first thing after geting out of the car is the SMELL of cattle sh... (it's ok inside the building though). But the biggest negative surprise was location: ~20 m from one side quite busy road, and ~1 m from the other side - RAILWAY (I do mean 1 meter !). Therefore, before collapsing assleep as we arrived very late and tired to move to another place, we could "enjoy" walls and furniture in our room vibrating as each of ~8-9 trains were passing by every 15 minutes or so. On the positive note, the girl in the reception tried to be helpfull and spoke good enough English, also, there was an air-conditioner in the room. But the railway...

Very Satisfied

This was a charming place to stay. There was a mistake on my part about the payment and the owner was so kind patient with me as he helped me to understand. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was generous and ummmm so good.

The location is very quiet, on the outskirts of Medvode. Beautiful landscape from your window. Mateja and Borut were very kind to me and did everything to make me comfortable. They installed a minibar and kettle in the room. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend it

L'hôtel est bien, seulement nous sommes entourés d'une route très fréquentée à - de 100m et d'une voie ferrée active à - de 50m

Hôtel est à côté d'un chemin fer !!

Chambre bruyante car il y a un chemin fer à côté et il n'y a rien à visiter dans les alentour.

Miserabel für den Preis, 10m neben einer Bahnlinie mit Nachtverkehr, knarrender Fußboden, unsaubere Duschen, Straßenverkehrgeräusche, ...................

Accueil correct, chambre correcte, mais on a demandé un lit double et un lit enfant, nous avons eu 3 petits lits individuel..salle de bain ( cabine de douche noircie de pourriture, radiateur également, cuvette de toilette qui tombe sans oublier la tuyauterie du lavabo qui est plus qu’inquiétante. A cela ajoutez le train qui embrasse le mur de l’hôtel ( a chaque passage on a l’impression que tout va s’effondrer..) à éviter !!!

Vicino Lubiana

Struttura appena fuori da Lubiana. Personale cordiale e camere pulite anche se un pò datate. Unico neo la posizione, abbastanza isolata e e attaccata ai binari della ferrovia, per questo a trati rumorosa.

Good pension, nearby Ljubljana.

Yesterday we came back home after a Stay of 11 nights in Pri Ancki. We enjoyed out Stay, friendly staff, we felt like home, The room was very clean, Slovenia very beatifull and The weather also. The staff helps you if you have any questions, see You next time! Jan and Geke from The Netherlands.

c'è poco da dire, non è un hotel ma una vecchia pensione ferma agli anni 70. da evitare non solo per la qualità della struttura ma anche per i rumori dovuti alla ferrovia che passa a non più di 3 metri dalle camere.

Try if you dare !

Awful experience... The hotel is located two meters from a railway which is very noisy. A heater was going through the wall between bathroom and room. Dirty toilet. Old bed uncomfortable. No wifi in the room. When I talked with the person at the reception about it, she told me I was a liar. Try if you dare !

Very nice place, welcoming and close to Ljubljana

The hôtel Pri Anski is not far from Ljubljana in the countryside (close to a railway but there are not too many trains). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are clean and have everything one might need. The only thing to improve is maybe the beds which were not the most comfortable we have seen. But we slept well nevertheless. If we pass by Ljubljana another time we will definitely go back to Pri Anski. Thanks to the team for this nice stay.

The price, the surrounding environment, the hotel room, the owner's personality, hospitality, which was very high. It is a hotel I want to visit again. I also recommend it to people. ARIGATOU! 駅からはバスで20分位かかりますが、便も多いので気になりません。美人の奥さん、気さくなご主人の温かいもてなしがすばらしかったです。のどかな田舎の中に立地しているのでのんびりできます。近くにはSPARもあるので長期滞在にも向いていると思います。お勧めです！

Das Hotel liegt direkt neben den Eisenbahngleisen (sehr laut), die Einrichtungen waren sehr alt, die Klimaanlage funktionierte teilweise nicht obwohl der Besitzer es ausprobierte es zu reparieren, der Boden quietschte laut wenn man darauf ging, der Gastgeber war unfreundlich

Molto meglio da come sembra su internet

Ci sono andata come ripiego, non volendo spendere le cifre improponibili di Lubiana, ma alla fine è risultato essere molto meglio di come appare in internet: la struttura è in effetti un po' datata e semplice, ma la stanza era confortevole, con ingresso indipendente e affacciata su un bel giardino. L'entrata era comunque coperta da una tettoia (infatti pioveva, ma non ci siamo bagnati, dal momento che anche il parcheggio è facilmente accessibile). Personale molto cordiale, ma non invadente. Lungo la strada da Lubiana c'è un centro commerciale in cui abbiamo mangiato chevapcici e patate ad un prezzo ridicolo. Ci vuole necessariamente un mezzo per muoversi. Infine, per noi non è stato un problema, ma è bene sapere che è VICINISSIMO ALLA FERROVIA.

Horroroso !

Um Hotel econômico porém com quartos muito velhos, tanto em móveis como roupas de cama. Fica ao lado de uma barulhenta estrada de ferro. A recepcionista era muito grosseira e sem paciência. Um desatre!
