Lovely home, great breakfast. Kathy is a very gracious hostess and really helped us to thoroughly enjoy the Portland area.

Kathy, keeps a super clean house and offers a delicious breakfast.

A wonderful gem in Gorham

Our stay at the Pinecrest was wonderful. We would highly recommend staying and plan to visit again. The breakfasts were fantastic. The service was just right. We were very comfortable. Kathy was the perfect host!

Kathy, the owner, was very professional and runs a very nice Inn (B & B).

Kathy is a generous and warm host. Her breakfasts are creative and on time! Sweet spot to explore.

The property was beautiful as was my room. The service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious.

Pine Crest Inn is a very beautiful b&b. The owner Kathy, is more than a host, she is more like a best friend, doing everything possible to ensure you have a wonderful experience. Kathy is also a gourmet cook, and serves dishes that are pleasing to the eye as well as the tastebuds. Make sure you don’t miss out on this very special experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff are so friendly, the room was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious! Would recommend to anyone!

Wonderful experience

We loved our stay at the Pinecrest Inn! It was our first time at a B&B and we will definitely do it again. The Innkeeper was very attentive and the house and room were beautifully decorated.

Property was very nice. Inn keeper not sympathetic to a medical emergency that occurred second night of stay. To the point of asking us to leave before check out and was angry because we called ems and let them in house. She claimed that she asked us to check out because she wasn’t sure we would be back before 11:00. We were out of there by 9:30 and never had breakfast or an offer of anything to go. She was only worried about her legal liability

It was a wonderful experience for me and my now fiancée. Kathy made us a chocolate plate and made the weekend extra special. The inn was very well decorated and relaxed; we felt right at home. Her breakfasts were also incredible. Would highly recommend and certainly will be back next time we’re in the area.

It is well managed, comfortable and clean.

Kathy is a wonderful host, gracious and thoughtful. The inn is beautifully decorated and set up for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated an area that Kathy created for guests to have tea, borrow nice wine glasses, keep leftovers in a small fridge. The breakfast room is lovely (recently redecorated) and the breakfasts were yummy. Our room was high and the bed was super comfortable. And although we made multiple trips to Portland, it was all easy. Pine Crest is truly a gem!

The Pinecrest Inn, a Maine Gem

The Pinecrest Inn is in excellent condition despite its two-centuries of existence. The rooms are decorated with taste and charm. Beds are cushy and supremely comfortable. Parking is conveniently on-site, and the inn is steps from the business center of Gotham. Kathy cooks scrumptious breakfasts daily.

Overall a very nice experiance.

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. The proprietor, Kathy, was very welcoming and provided fantastic breakfasts. If you want to visit Portland, or any other nearby locations, but do not want to stay in the city, this is a wonderful choice, as we found evidenced with many returning visitors in our company.

The historic home is gorgeous. Our room was spacious and beautiful. The hostess was friendly and welcoming and the breakfast amazing. I especially liked the community snack/fridge/coffee tea area as well as the in-room Kurig.

Clean and comfortable. Great breakfasts and warm and friendly owner

Cozy inn with a delightful innkeeper. Unexpected amenities provided (e.g., free water). Great location, easy access to Portland, the airprot and outlying areas.

What a wonderful B&B. The room was perfect! You can tell the owner has put a lot of time and love into inn. Lovely thoughtful details throughout (like cotton balls in the bathroom or lap throws over the arm chair & sofa for getting cozy, etc.). Bed was comfortable and inviting and the breakfast was fantastic! I'd recommend this place (and already have) to everyone. Fantastic stay!

It's a nice place but the host Kathy can be very unreasonable.

The Inn in charming and comfortable. The breakfasts were yummy and the Inn keeper lovely. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return for another visit

The inn is pretty and our stay there was most comfortable. Kathy the innkeeper was always cheerful and ready to help. If we happen to visit the area again we’ll be happy to stay in this inn.

Beautiful-limited times for checkin and breakfast

Beautiful Inn - comfortable beds - we were very relaxed there. Only comments are that it was odd that you had to check in between 4-7pm (they don't leave a key for later check-ins and the email implied that there weren't any exceptions, which I am not sure was true) -- and that breakfast was only served between 8:30-9:30am (they don't even leave coffee and muffins/fruit for a later breakfast). We skipped breakfast both days - we were in town for a wedding so had late nights on Friday (rehearsal dinner) and Saturday (wedding).

My husband and I just got back and we LOVED our visit. The B&B is such a nice place to stay. The town is charming, the host the same. Our room was very comfortable, the bed my husband commented on several times. We slept with the windows open and LOVED it, in TX we only get to do that for a limited time. Breakfast was very tasty and had a lot of thought put into it. We enjoyed the coffee and took a cup to go with us everyday when we headed out to explore. We loved our trip and would stay here again and hope to be back. If you want to be away from the city and a little piece of history, I highly recommend this B&B.

When I think about a quaint, beautifully-appointed B&B in Maine, PineCrest Inn is exactly what I pictured. My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon and it was perfect. Charming old building, but updated for comfort and cleanliness. It was clear the owner put her love into everything. Our room was gorgeous and very comfortable, and the rest of the property was well-appointed as well. Breakfast was delicious and complementary. The only issue we had was with the tiny bathroom, but that's to be expected in an older property. Despite being small it was immaculately clean. If we return to Maine we will definitely stay at the PineCrest again!

A Hidden Gem Just Outside of Portland

I can wholeheartedly recommend the PineCrest Inn if you are in the Portland area. It is close enough to Portland to allow one to enjoy all of its attractions while being far enough away to enjoy the beautiful Maine landscape. The entire inn was spotless and our room was very comfortable. Kathy is a fabulous innkeeper who provided helpful advice about local restaurants and cooked wonderfully delicious breakfasts. I would certainly stay at the Inn again when in the Portland area and would advise you to do so as well. You will not regret it.

This Inn was excellent. The staff were friendly. The Inn keeper was wonderful and very helpful. The house was very clean and comfortable indeed.

Plan to stay again.

Kathy was a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. She also is a great baker, we enjoy two breakfast cakes, homemade with local fruits. Enjoyable getaway for relaxation and comfort. Thank you Kathy for a wonderful experience.

Great B&B

Spent two nights at Pinecrest Inn and couldn't have had a better experience. Kathy was an excellent Innkeeper and made us feel so welcome. the Hamilton room was clean and comfortable, much like being at home. Breakfast was great each morning, and the homemade treats left in the room each day were delicious. We will be going back.

Adorable Bed & Breakfast close to Portland, ME

We came all the way from Miami and weren’t sure what to expect. My family and I were so happily surprised with the location, place and service. The breakfast was fantastic. Will definitely book there again on my next visit.

Kathy the inn keeper was very sweet and attentive. She catered to my vegan diet for breakfast, which for me was above and beyond. I would absolutely stay here again

Amazing stay!

Very cute old home with lots of charm that was very quant & cozy! The lobby area was stocked with snacks, drinks, toiletries for a small fee,besides what was given by the host. The breakfast was amazing and filling, offered savory & sweet & accommodated likes, dislikes & allergies to food. The room was very clean & comftorable, had everything we needed & more! Kathy was an amazing host very accommodating & humble! We definitely will stay with her again & recommend to family & friends!!!

Excellent stay

This was a weekend family trip, and I must say that it was absolutely amazing. Kathy (the innkeeper) is awesome, the rooms are beautiful, and the location is easily accessible. We've stayed at all sorts of hotels on similar trips to various places, from luxury resorts to cheap motels, and this has been one of the best experiences we've ever had.

Lovely B&B. Breakfast is lovely except acccomodations must be preplanned. Inn keeper is easily frazzled and nicer to the older crowd. Perhaps racist - unsure. Felt unwelcome at times but lovely place.

Breakfasts to die for

Wonderful stay - we had a mini-suite, which was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The whole B&B is immaculate and welcoming. The breakfasts are to die for. Highly recommended.
