Had a great stay the place is hard to find but once in the gate you are in a different place.i can't say enough about the staff so friendly just great people.we are looking forward to visiting again and plan to stay here again
This hotel is a scam they dont exist i was stranded in eygt because of them and Expedia
Do not go to this place. It looks like a junkyard inside and out. If the owner sexually harasses you, be sure to do as I did and leave. I need to see the police now. The Expedia listing is so inaccurate but not the priority here. The owner or whomever he says he is, grouped me in front of his friends. I’ve never been so disrespected & disgusted as I am. Lastly, he stole $401USD. He refused to physically even look at the receipts I kept for payment in full for 9 nights. I then incurred additional costs in relocating to a real hotel. On a good note, the locals here are very friendly and helpful. Be careful where you stay.
The photos in Expedia Website do not reflect the condition of the property. :-(
Value for money
I mean ... There's a certain amount of "you get what you pay for" here. Pick-up from airport was free (if staying 3+ nights), the welcome was warm and everyone was lovely. Breakfast was a few dry things on a tray, along with a carton of juice, but take it up to the rooftop and you can have it with a view of the pyramids. Everyone in Cairo/Giza is after your money, so trying not to be ripped off can be quite a challenge - For example, the hotel owner took us to his friend's restaurant that he recommended we eat at, and on the evening we went, there was no-one eating, and we were presented a laminated menu sheet where every single item was US$20
BEWARE OF THIS LISTING!
Warning to all! The photos you see pictured as ‘details of the property’ are from a bar/restaurant somewhere else in the area. The photos of the room, bathroom and viewing deck are ALL NOT part of the hotel premises. The address given is an abandoned building so imagine the shock when I arrived. And when you call the number, somebody will pick you up and bring you to a property several doors away. You will be brought in a small room that is completely NOT what is pictured and what you signed up for. The apartment is where other local family and children live. That means you will hear children playing around while you are sleeping, horses and camels passing loudly and locals being loud. Several others mentioned here on the reviews that you will be taken in a different property but I wonder why this listing is allowed to continue to do this and scam guests into booking what they think to will get and end up in a super substandard, completely different property. Why can’t they just offer the low price they offer and be truthful about the pictures and the accommodation itself? I’m sure low budget travelers will still go for it and not feel scammed as long as they know what they are getting. I DO HOWEVER FEEL Scammed. Please be fully aware when you book this property.
Falls advertisement of the stay. The photo and hotel was not the property to stay. We had to pay another hotel. The hotel they told us to stay was not the same stay. They took us to a getto place like residential in a very dirty and unsafe area and very poor accommodation. It was not a hotel like it was advertized. We have to pay extra $581.40 for the duration of our stay so they will upgrade is to the right advertized lodging. We were also not picked up at the airport like it says rhat pick up at the airport to the hotel is included. We had to pay an Uber /taxi of $30.00. The advertisement for this hotel stay is a FRAUD. This kind of stay is not acceptable. Marilyn Emuslan Jerry Reyes
Mr Hani was good and friendly but the area and the neighborhood is very dirty and unsafe
Toilet was problematic. Door to toilet was broken and off its rails. Sink had steel wool rusted to it. lacked bed cover. noisy from the street. There was no toilet paper and had to ask for some
Different but lovely
When i first for the rhe hotel i wasnt sure. It a different set up from the normal hotel but it works well. The place was.just what i needed which was safe, clean, friendly and well priced. Hany is just a lovely man who is really dedicated to you having a good stay.
Manager was extremely well prepaŕed and attentive to my needs. Roof top Cafe was a huge benefit with views of Pyramids every morning from breakfast.
This place is a scam you book one hotel and they take you to a slum area, no facilities, Expedia, you need to smarten up your act. This was the most disgusting holiday I have ever had.
This property is like a 3 minute walk to the pyramids, the owner is very very hospitable and nice. I really enjoyed my stay. There is hot water a full kitchen and a living room and dining room, and a wash machine. Great for long stays. The bathroom is the best part it’s big and very clean.
First of all this place is very local. Meaning horses, camels and tuk tuks everywhere. It is directly across from the exit to the Giza complex. The attention from Mr Haney was above and beyond any expectations of a host. His team was instantly there for any thing you may desire. From a cold beer to shopping and or a meal, they accompanied me and made me feel like a VIP the entire stay.
Experiencia excelente
Ahmed y Hábil estaban muy atentos a todas nuestras necesidades. La unica cosa que faltaba estaba una cortina de ducha mas larga para que el agua no salga al resto del baño.
Es falso, no existe ese lugar en la direccion y en la calle que menciona
After arriving at the airport, we were informed by the hotel manager that our originally booked hotel, "Phoenix Pyramids View," had been upgraded to "Khufu Hotel." While we were unsure if the original hotel was good, we experienced both positive and negative aspects at the new hotel. Positives: - Complimentary daily Breakfast. - Free Transfer from Airport to the Hotel - Air-conditioned Room - Direct View to the Pyramids from the Rooftop - Friendly Hotel Staff - Hotel Manager Available 24/7 via WhatsApp. Negatives: - Unexpected Change of Hotel - Room Quality: Frequent power and water outages - Inconsistent Room Service: Room service, including changing the bedsheets, was not provided daily and only happened once during our 6-day stay unless specifically requested. - Poor Location: The area outside the hotel was unpleasant, with trash and with trash and the smell of horse and camel waste. - Extra Charges for Airport Transfer Therefore, overall, we would give an average rating to this hotel. As mentioned, we don't know how our original hotel was. We booked for 6 nights and spent most of the daytime outside for 4 days. Therefore, overall, we would give an average rating to this hotel. As mentioned, we don't know how our original hotel was. We appreciated the daily free breakfast, airport transfer, air-conditioned rooms, pyramid views from the rooftop, friendly staff, and the manager's availability via WhatsApp, there were significant drawbacks aswell.
Bien 👍

1. Phoenix Pyramids View hotel, to identify in google maps as well by drivers is difficult; so look for Pyramids Sunlight Hotel. So, Taxi, Uber drivers can identify. Because this location is vary narrow streets, location is kind of ok. Very busy area. But ok. 2. If you can bear the location, best place to stay to see Pyramids, access to shopping for buying gifts. 3. Come to know there is three small hotels in the same complex with different names a bit confusing. 4. Mgr. Hnay Fayed is good man. Owner of complex is good man. 5. Lack of communications with their phone access by whatsapp is a bit hard. Clarify first. 6. Otherwise we safely enjoyed the 5 days stay in Feb. Rooms are ok condition. Good hot water, Good Wifi, they give passwod. 7. Breakfast kind of ok, starts around a bit late 8.30am. included. 8. From roof top can enjoy Pyramids about a KM away. 9. Evening light show also partially visible. 10. If you don't have too much expectations....good. Budget hotel.
