I randomly picked this Hotel to stay in Ko Phi Phi. The room was okay with the usual facilities that would be classed as a 3 star hotel, air con works well etc. One of the best things is the balcony view from my hotel to see the sunset, the beach parties were close by, wow

Sunset View!

The view was stunning, we sat on the balcony every morning enjoying our coffee and taking it in. The hotel has a perfect location at the end of the beach, close to everything, but with a touch of privacy. The bar is great and we loved the vibe, we had drinks relaxing, while watching the suset. We loved it and will return to Green House!

Great value, incredible views

My best friend and I spent 2 weeks in Thailand between Pattaya to Bangkok to Chiang Mai down to Phuket to Ko Phi Phi and other islands, we stayed in multiple hotels, always booking 2 rooms so we were able to compare between rooms as well, this place was excellent value for the price, what really sells the place is the room’s view!!! See pic

Noise trap.

Note: if you're into loud noises then stay, if not don't. The hotel fails in letting the guests know that after the clubs finish at 1am they invite the club guests to continue an after party on the rooftop which is right above your ceiling. The hotel was friendly, professional and understanding and gave us a refund. Recommended if you're into loud noises until at least 4:30-5am.

good location near the beach ... at night it's very noisy because of the beach parties ... it's a very simple place without luxury .. the balcony door it didn't work well ... the only good thing is being near the beach ... the rest is not recommended

Nice place and people

Beautiful views over the bay and friendly staff. It gets really noisy on the beach at night, which is obviously not the hotel's problem. But balcony doors are not isolated well (even having big gaps to let noise and mosquitos in), so that can be improved. Bathroom smell is quite bad and they try fix it with little fragrance bags, but it's not really working.

Would recommend!

Phi Phi Green House was a lovely stay waking up to our terrace on the beach. Staff were brilliant and really welcoming. Tommy’s were clean proper value for money. Breakfast was good and was close to local shops

Nice stay

Nice hotel right on the beach front with a balcony and sea view. The noise levels were intense at night due to the late night beach parties which were running until 2AM every night so if you’re a light sleeper this will not be for you. The room was nice and clean with daily housekeeping. However the sliding balcony doors did not lock properly. This is a security issue which needs to be addressed.

Great location.

Great place to stay on phi phi! No pool but can go to Ibiza’s pool which is near. Lovely staff and clean rooms. Ask for a room That faces the beach as the other rooms Have a wall as a view. Highly recommend. If can’t slee with noise at night then don’t as he was quite noisy but doesn’t bother me. The location is also right on the beach!

Best location, view was of the beach but very outdated and didn’t feel clean.

Room with a view?. Overlooking a work yard. Bathroom falling apart . Nowhere to hang or even store clothes. Rubbish! Don’t go

Very well located, ocean view is perfect, although it is a party island so be prepared to sleep with the sound of music in the background .

Wouldn't recommend

Overall, hotel room wasn't very clean - stained bed sheets, towels etc. Large cockroach in room upon arrival; variety of flies and mosquitoes in bathroom. Bad sewer smell from bathroom also which infiltrated into the room. Staff weren't very pleasant. Very itchy after first night and had to sleep on top of covers because of fear of bed bugs. Location was loud but to be expected with beach parties close by etc. In conclusion would not book again. Even though cheap, expect more value for money and a comfortable nights stay.

Amazing views, very basic room, but clean.

The room served its purpose and had an amazing view of the ocean, you could walk out and be on the beach, very convenient to the local shops, bars and restaurants. It’s very simple, but clean. The staff is very friendly.

Noisy hotel close to beach.

I booked a sea view room and they gave me a backward room. They told me that room is available next day for extra fee. Over night is very noisy you can't sleep at all, you can hear all the music from all the beach clubs. I had to sleep with earplugs on. And over the day another building in work stopping all the light of my window, when I went to the balcony was 5cm to the new building, obstructing everything. I don't know what low allows them to build like that. Overall it's not a good place to stay.

Close to beach

Koh Phi Phi has a lot of pricey accommodations and you don't get much in return. At this hotel you get what you pay for. A clean room, close to the beach and a great breakfast. The breakfast area is situated just off the water and makes for a nice calm morning coffee and meal. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Credit cards stolen from room safe.

My card wallet was stolen from the room safe within 6 hours of my checking in. I believe there are staff involved in a card cloning scam. Only a member of staff could have entered my locker room and then opened the safe, removed the cards, and locked the safe. I was only out for a short time and returned for one of my cards. They were gone. They had not had enough time to return then to the safe. This is a well known scam. Ironically there is a sign on the wardrobe containing the safe telling guests to put their valuables in the safe. My advice...avoid this hotel like the plague. For anyone who has stayed here before...check your card statements.

I never wanted to leave

I originally booked 3 nights and ended up staying 3 more! Check in was quick and easy, the staff were lovely (especially Ed). The room (with fan) is very basic, showers could do with updating but it didnt put me off staying longer at all. Maybe book the seaview room if youre not on a budget... Next time i go back i will do that. Like other people have said, the noise goes on until 2am, i stayed in a few nights and managed to sleep through it but it just depends on the individual person. The beach on this side isnt the nicest as its the party side, but the other side with the better beach is only a nice 10 minute stroll through the stalls. Also if the tide is strong you will have to walk around to get to the beach anyway, it isnt far either way. I spent a few of my days relaxing on the hammock outside, it was my favourite place to be in the whole of Phi Phi. Breakfast was nice and the view whilst eating it was even better. I wouldnt even look anywhere else when i return, im so glad i picked this place.

OK for a Night, Not Longer

This hotel is fine for a short stay, but there are better options on the island. The staff were kind and friendly, and a convenient minimart downstairs is great for grabbing a drink to catch sunsets by the water. Note: there is no beach directly in front of the hotel, just water, but you can walk along sandbags a very short distance to the beach. A huge construction area is next to the hotel, a pit literally filled with building scrap and rubbish -- looks like an atomic testing site. The pricier waterfront rooms face the sea, but all cheaper "garden view" rooms open to The Pit. Not a nice sight at all. Rooms are large, concrete, and starkly utilitarian. Not one scrap of art, decor, or distractions to make for a cozy/comfortable experience. You get a safe on the floor and a large bed -- that's it. Voices literally reverberate inside. Water pressure was low on the second floor. Many beach bars with thumping music just a short distance along the beach. That's bad news if you want a quiet place to stay, but good news if you want to get home easily after a party. Many people come to Koh Phi Phi to party and socialize; expect to join the madness and enjoy yourself or stay far away. Don't come and then complain! As a reference point for the review: I've been a backpacking budget traveler for over 10 years (it's my job) -- so I certainly don't expect luxury.

Green house review

So this place is nice and basic if that's what you're looking for. It had a decent balcony to watch the sunset, and everything else is just basic. We stayed in the fan room which is a little difficult to sleep in when it's so hot outside, but we knew before we arrived that this was just somewhere to stay before moving on. It's a little bit away from the crazy beach parties, but you will still hear the music. Also a little hard to find, as the hotel.com doesn't take you to the exact location of this hotel. Just google maps this place, or ask someone local - they seem nice enough to help

The room was big with a beautiful view of the sea. It is a small island so I guess every location is good, but it was on the beach so it was very nice but at night you would hear all the noise from the parties. The condition of the bathroom was ok if you take into consideration that the condition of all bathroom in the island don't look that well... So overall we enjoyed our stay

Perfect view!

The hotel is perfect for the location, right on the beach but far not too close to the main action so you can still sleep at night. The staff are great, helpful and kind. The rooms are basic and I'm not sure how often they are cleaned but this wasn't a problem for us and it's worth staying here for the view alone!

Could be better for the money

Ants in the bathroom and construction on site. Also nice balcony, but balcony doors did not close fully, which let humidity and hot outside air into the room. Also very loud at night from the beach parties noise. Otherwise, the staff is very friendly and near (but not right on) the beach

A Fun & Party island...

It was difficult to find the hotel/guest house, nobody met us at the arrival pier. Only real complaint was loud music nearby until early hours of the morning. But after all, Koh Phi Phi is a party precinct for teens! Ocean view room was nice, staff accommodating, room clean and neat. Price included breakfast which was a bonus.

Noisy Noisy

There were good points sadly the bad points out did the good. We will never return and cautions others of the problems. The building is only a few years old. The rooms were nice; small but big enough. And it is right on the shore giving the resort lots of potential. The staff was kind and attentive in all respects except for the noise. They had two speakers set up on the shore side of the building. One speaker was a meter away from our patio door. We were told the music would be turned off at midnight. The music started playing in the early evening and ran until after midnight. The music was acceptable at first. However the genre turned to vulgar filthy music as the night wore on. Requests to turn the music down got a temporary fix. But soon each time the volume went back up. Oddly, there were few people outside to “enjoy” the music, maybe a half dozen at best. The beach is a big party zone from afternoon to early morning. Lots of loud music, drinking and partying. Many of the other resorts/bars to the west were attracting large crowds of younger adults. I think the Green House was unsuccessfully attempting to lure people from the bigger parties along the beach to their resort. The music played well past 1:00 AM on our final night. Housekeeping never came through the room. We had to ask for necessities as needed. The final problem occurred at check out. Given the repeated requests to turn the music down two to three times each night and poor sleep we got ov

Good times.

It was next to kayak rentals and it took 20 minutes kayaking to reach Monkey Island. Great place to see the monkeys and if you go out 50-150 meters to snorkel you can see some nice fish! A 3-4 minute walk to Nightlife that hosts good music, flame-blowing, and entertaining locals right off the beach!

Horrible stay

Avoid at all costs. This place was on the west coast and i was set on sunsets and close to beach. However the place was really shabby, bed sunken, patio doors very old and hard to open. Is right by rowdy beach and access goes past the doors constantly all day and all night. Nightlife music will.keep you awake until very late, had to check out early as the fact that there were some people passing through making havoc jist outside the room late night. Towels were not clean and just bad overall experience.

Katastrophe. Laut, ungemütlich und dann betrogen!

Extrem schlimme Absteigen... Eher loch. Durch die Bar über den Zimmern ist bis 4 Uhr morgens laut und keiner kann schlafen. Besitzer hat dem kostenlosen Storno mündlich zugestimmt, da wir vorzeitig verlassen wollten. Jedoch hat er das nie bei booking bestätigt, auch nicht nach 5 Erinnerungen. So sind wir auf den Kosten für 3 Nächte sitzen geblieben!

Me trataron muy mal, la habitación no era la de las foto, sino unas sin ventana. Cuando me queje casi me quiere golpear, todo sucio y con mucho olor. Me fui a buscar otro hotel. Y expedia no hizo nada por ayudarme. Never book this hotel

Hotellet håller inte vad de lovar

Vi såg fram emot att fira det nya året på Phi Phi och bokade Green House redan i september för att säkra vår plats här. Allt verkade vara ok fram tills i början på december när hotellet plötsligt meddelar oss att hotellet är fullbokat och att vi inte kan bo där. Detta är mycket märkligt eftersom vår bokning var både bekräftad och betald sedan flera månader tillbaka. När jag försökte kontakta hotellet igen vägrade de att svara och jag tvingades kontakta Hotels.com för att få klarhet i vad som pågick. Hotels.com fick inte heller tag i hotellet men lovade istället att ordna något annat till mig inom 24 timmar. Kort efter mitt samtal med Kundtjänst kontaktar Green House mig och säger att de ordnat ett rum till oss. Hotels.com hör dock aldrig av sig igen som utlovat angående andra alternativ. När vi ska checka in på Green House visar det sig att vi inte alls har något rum på hotellet men att de istället löst problemet genom att boka in oss på en bungalow i närheten. Den här bungalowen låg granne med Slinky Bar, som är festens mittpunkt på Phi Phi, och det är allt annat än lugnt där kan jag lova. Personalen på vårt nya boende var snälla och behjälpliga men varken Green House eller Hotels.com tog sitt ansvar i den här situationen och vi är mycket missnöjda över detta. Jag kan inte rekommendera Green House eftersom de inte höll vad de lovade trots att man redan betalat och bokat långt i förväg. Vi lämnade i förtid pga detta.

設備が全体的にボロくメンテナンスがされていない。 パーティービーチの直ぐ近くなので、物凄くうるさい。 尚且つ、フロントにあるBar？でもお客が居ないのに音楽ガンガンでうるさい。 事前に騒音ありだとか記載すべき。 2泊したが、部屋の掃除タオル交換も無し、ホスピタリティーが全くないホテルです。 年末料金とピピ島というプライスなので、この価格で高級感は求めてないですが、お金を出す価値はありません。

ホテルズドットコムから予約したが、ホテル側が全く把握できておらずチェックインに1時間かかった。 たまたま空いてた部屋があったから宿泊できたが、友人3人同タイプの部屋を予約したのに1人はグレードが高い部屋で値段も同じ。 お手洗い・シャワーはきれい好きな女性の場合難あり。 船場から10分くらい歩くのと、道があまり整備されてない部分もあるのでスーツケースだとかなり辛い。

Nice room, Nice price

Fin plassering rett ved stranda, veldig sentralt i forhold til uteliv og sentrum. Helt OK rom, enkelt. Litt støy fra barene på kvelden, men et godt alternativ til en god pris, anbefales!

Nydelig utsikt

Nydelig lite hotell med trivelig personale. Rommene var flotte med en fantastisk utsikt mot havet. Eneste minuset er at det var endel feststøy på kvelden. Men vi storkoste oss

Nice place, awesome for partypeople

A very good place worthy it's money. Literally on the beach and close to main street. BUT if you're not there to party and have a hard time with noises the party is literally in your bedroom since it's next to all nightclubs. Ended up extending to two more nights and then we got breakfast included. Asked for more food and they said it was on the house so very nice staff. Clean and nice.

Bien pour la place

La chambre est belle et grande mais toujours plein de sable et jamais lavée ( dans les 2 chambres que nous avons eu). Le personnel a été parfait et nous a aidé pour qu'on puisse passer un meilleur séjour

Ok hotell!

Detta hotell är varken bättre eller sämre än andra hotell på Phi Phi i samma prisklass. Ligger väldigt nära stranden och alla klubbar (är du inte där för att festa, välj ett annat hotell då musik spelas till kl. 02). Ok wi-fi överlag ett ok hotell för några få dagar!

Get a room with sea view

Location very near main party beach (music stops at 01 at night). Beach has good view so book a room with sea view, best view I have ever had. A 1 min walk to beach. Good location, but maybe not if you want it slow & quiet or have small children. My room didn’t have safe deposit as stated.

Nice location og you’re here to party.. if not maybe you should find another place. Staff is really friendly but the rooms could be cleaner

Excellent en tout point de vu

Perfect location! But it’s on the beach so you hear the music until 2am. Otherwise it’s OK and the view is amazing! Very clean, AC works properly, only the bed is not that comfortable. Over all 8/10

Idyllisk og sentral beliggenhet på dagtid, veldig mye støy fra beachparty ved siden av på kveldstid. Imidlertid helt stille etter kl. 2 på natten og frem til ca kl. 21 neste kveld. Bra renhold og god service.
