TravellerThe cottage interior was lovely and the location was very central. However there was no toilet roll provided, not enough glassware for 6 guests, a few lightbulbs were out (including the hall which made it very dark) and the radiator cover was damaged and leaning off the wall when we arrived. The bathroom was a good size but the shower didnt work efficiently and the taps dripped constantly. No plug sockets near the hall mirror, would have been better if there was a mirror in the bedroom.

Charming and just perfect for our family weekend stay. Highly recommend!! Castleton was an unexpected delight. We picked the location for being between Lyme House and Chatsworth, our Pride & Prejudice destinations, and Pervil Cottage was what our kids liked best!
