Amazing Stay
Every thing was perfect.Clean Rooms, service and food. I recomend Pebbles Resort and Spa.
The hotel staff were exceptional. Very helpful and eager to help. Breakfast was great. Rooms were great.
Beautiful hotel with lovely, friendly staff. Had the nicest week
From the moment we arrived at the reception ,the staff were very helpful, they explained some things, then they gave us room 207 which was imaculate clean. Thanks to the cleaning staff that works so hard. The room was not too big but it had all that we needed.like tea and coffee facilities, fridge and a safe.the only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the position of the safe. Also breakfast was good although if there will be more healthy options it would be better. Indoor pool looks nice altough we did not use it.Also the hotel it is near the promenade and you can reach bugibba and Qawra within walking distance. Is was a nice stay, thanks Pebbles resort.
Really recommend, the prettiest hotel in area, clean, hot indoor pool, I would definitely stay another time
In my top 5 of all time
It is not a 4 star if i could i would give it a 5 so clean was 3 hours early but still let me in reception was outstanding cleaners amazing bar staff brilliant defo going back and never seen a bed that big and clean plus i travel alot was good they unstood my Scottish pool and jacuzzi 4 stars wat a stay
Great staff
The hotel was spotlessly clean as usual. Rooms comfy. Some bathrooms are small but useable. Bfast plentiful. Staff fantastic. Indoor and outdoor pools. Close to main amenities and a 10 min walk to the promenade.
Winter break
The hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help and solve any problem you have. Breakfast plentiful. Lovely indoor pool and outdoor
The reception staff very polite and very good with providing the right information. This is a basic hotel, 2- to maximum 3 stars maybe, the facilities are very basic, the room with 2 double beds were a good size but apart that the cleaning and the amenities are just far from 4 stars. We find hair in the beds and the cleaning in the room is not done properly, the walls are full of dead mosquitos. We did not have enough towels, dental kits or sleepers. We did not have a makeup table, with a proper light. Empty fridge No blankets/ duvets/ No glasses/cups for all the guests, we constantly had to call reception for something and this was very uncomfortable for us. The dining / breakfast aria was very dark and very busy no enough stuff to attend the needs of the guest; food was just basic; coffee machine stoped working. The tables in the dining room were cleaned with chemicals spray and the stuff just sprayed this without even consider our food just centimetres away. The dining area was very crowded and noise. No drinks for dinner providedeven if we had half board booked, not even water for the table, this was not advice by the booking or by the reception. The gym is too small and too crowded; The internal pool full of kids, very noisy and the smell of bleach was so strong we could feel it on the lift, from outside the pool area; -the lift was very small and constantly used by staff; the floor in the lift was constantly wet. The aria outside the hotel is very very dirty
The internal an external areas within the hotel were spotless Staff worked incredibly hard and were always saying hello Only slight downside is the area it is in, limited bar an restaurants in immediate area so a walk down to Bugibba square for any variety Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful Service!
I had a wonderful stay at Pebbles Resort. The friendliness of the staff was exceptional. They couldn’t do enough for their guests and it truly was service with a smile. Great food and drink options. Very clean. Pool was cold but refreshing and never a problem to find a sun bed. Just one small thing, the music around the pool started too early and was too loud.
A good hotel near the sea front. Very clean. Friendly staff. The immediate area is not so nice with limited eating options. However the Anchor pub part of the hotel serves very tasty meals.
Everything was fine
Breakfast area was “full” and had to wait in a long queue to be seated
Great location
Ideal location. Just a five minute stroll from the busy tourist area so nice and quiet with local bars and cafes and convenience shops very close by
The only draw back about the hotel nowadays is the lack of on street parking. All in all the staff are brilliant and the food is good. The hotel is,also very clean. The 2nd floor is looking a bit dated with broken floor boards. The rooms are very comfortable with tea/coffee, toiletries etc all included. Again the rooms on the 2nd floor need fixing, loose toilet seat, bed side lights not working. I only mention the 2nd floor as in the past 5 times this year the rooms were better.
Great hotel that's a short walk from the water
Stayed here for a week in November. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. Room: Large comfy bed (you could fit 3 pillows across it!). Nice space. Very clean. TV had plenty of channels. Room had a safe, kettle and fridge. AC worked great. Bathroom: Very clean. Nice strong water pressure in shower. Only two downsides (very minor!) the pictures showed a walk-in shower but this was a bath with showerhead, which we were ok with, but also the bathroom did not have an extractor fan. Hotel amenities: Large selection of hot and cold food for breakfast. Evening buffet was high quality that changed every night. The additional restaurant in the hotel (a la carte, not buffet) was great quality food at a decent price. Lovely cocktails available in the bar. 2 pools; one outdoor chlorine one and an indoor which was fresh water The area around the hotel is ok, but it is only about 5-10 minutes walk to the water, which was great. Parking around the hotel was very difficult so we just parked about an 8 minute walk away. No issue with that. We would definitely stay here again!
Very satisfied!
Lovely staff, clean well looked after hotel with great facilities, all for a decent value price, will happily return.
Staff on reception Natalia and staff on the bar Evo
No VIP early checkin, no room upgrade, VERY small bathroom, but with a modern appeal. Shower had plenty of hot water, staff was pleasant, great air conditioning in the room, good breakfast buffet, outlets on both sides of the bed with USB power ports, coffee service in the room with 2 bottles of water. Overall I had a pleasant stay.
.
Very clean and good service.
The hotel itself is exceptionally clean and rooms are comfortable. Staff are very helpful. This is the second time we stayed. The breakfast is plentiful too and has a lovely indoor pool. My only negative this time was thst we had a 16 euro credit per room but there were so many restrictions. We needed a late check out for one of our three rooms but they wanted to charge 5 euro per hour. It is all abiut the money, no give at all on anything.
Good hotel for a family stay off season
The hotel was very nice and good value (January stay). We used the indoor pool every day as it was warm...the outdoor pool water was very cold. The breakfast included was great. The room was spacious and comfortable. The local buses passed by on the nearby main road which was convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Great hotel in Bugibba
Excellent hotel in Bugibba. I was really impressed with the value for money I got for an off-season (December) stay here. Was given a complimentary room upgrade. Very comfortable, very clean and friendly staff.
Outdoor facilities and super attentive reception staff.
Lovely gem
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very polite and informative. The complex has everything one needs, clean comfortable rooms, swimming pool indoor and out, gym etc. The only negatives was the lack of parking as although winter time, it took ages to find a parking space. I had a problem during the night and no one answered the phone, i called internally and externally. Judt an answer machine
Booking cab/late or not informing not coming?
Staff said not in the system.waiting for a cab for 15mins.then good only i approached reception ,not in the system?....i booked a day ahead.how come??
Staff amazing and hotel very clean. Breakfast a bit monotonous as no variation and occasionally cold. Any issues were dealt with promptly.
Great hotel, poor shower
From being met at reception through to service overall it was great. The only problem we had was the shower in the bathroom. It was a walk in weet room but the water did not drain away fast enough and on the first night it flooded the bathroom AND the entire hotel room. We werent moved and we tried not to shower for the remaining time. And when we did we had to baricade the door and floor with towels and shower very quickly. This alone would stop me from rebooking there im afraid. Which is a real shame as everything else was spot on.
Good but there s still things to change.
It s comfort and clean. The staff is good. Only one thing i don t like as we ise the indoor pool they don t serve drinks plus no changing room good as the showers plash everywhere and the floor be wet.
Great hotel !
Pebbles Resort has some of the most welcoming and generous staff ever. I called before arriving to ask if they could conjure something special in our room for me and my wife 5 year anniversary - they ensured our room was magical. Thank you to the staff and management there :)
Nice property, plenty of features. Good bars. Good location, easy to get to bus routes.
Great place to stay
We went to Pebbles Resort for our Honeymoon and we were blown away. All the staff are friendly and help with any questions we had. The room was super clean and the room was cleaned everyday! Only downside to the resort is the people staying there who reserve the sunbeds but disappear for the whole day only to return late in the afternoon, sadly there is no cure for being british. The location is brilliant, 5 minute walk to the sea and locations restaurants and a minutes walk to the nearest bus stop to get you to Valletta and Mdina and so many other places.
Stayed 3 nights and highly recommend it. Everyone from reception to bar staff was so welcoming and friendly. Great cocktails, both swimming pools were sooo nice. Breakfast is simple but has everything you need. Location is also great, close to where you get the boat tour, to nice restaurants and around 35 min driving from the airport.
From the moment i checked all staff were so friendly. They were always willing to help and nothing was to much trouble. The room were clean very comfortable and the amenities were first class. Its a shame i had only 3 days there and not more but i certainly will be back
Nice stay, would recommend
Amazing reception staff, super helpful and nice. Bar staff woman was rude and very unfriendly. Restaurant breakfast was not great, but ok. Room was great as was the pools. Would recommend to stay here and maybe eat and drink elsewhere.
Lovely hotel, all the staff were very good but Simone was great at making sure you had drinks all day & helpful with questions regarding the island. Beach was a 5 minute walk but very small. Had breakfast which was same everyday. Lots of places to eat 10 minutes walk away, all in all a great stay in a nice hotel with great staff.
Great hotel
Friendly staff, great room, great food, good price, Will visit again
J.N. Malta
Excellent location. Helpful staff and comfortable room.
Absolute gem of a place !
We first checked in for 2 days in November. As soon as we first arrived we felt very welcomed by all the staff , so much so that we quickly extended our stay . We ended up spending 22 days there in the end over November & December ! Can honestly say this is the best hotel experience we have had !! The Hotel is a 4 star but unlike some other 4 stars in Malta it is newly renovated and rooms / facilities are to a very good standard . We ate mostly in the Med Asia Restaurant which has a fantastic Asian menu and big compliments to the Chefs as the food is awesome ! There is an authentic and very well presented English pub called The Anchor which was perfect for watching the footie with a great selection of drinks . What really makes this place special though is the staff . Always warm and friendly with impeccable service. To name a few, Nikola, Baze , Sanja, both Ivanas, Jenny, Mahlia, Bijana,Stefan. A big thank you though to all the Pebbles staff and management who without exception always made us feel so welcome with such a warm and friendly vibe which made our stay very special . We miss this place and can’t wait to return again very soon ! Gary & Donna
Excellent staff very friendly couldn't do enough for you especially if you enjoy lazing by the pool sipping cocktails. very clean with excellent food. would defiantly use again
Nestled away in the residential area of San Paulo (Saint Paul’s Bay) is a newly renovated modern and clean hotel with good customer service and stylish fittings: Pebbles Resort. But, the stylish haven comes with a catch. First impressions count, and ours sure did. Check in at Pebbles Resort is at 1500. Having stayed up and missed a night’s sleep to catch an early flight, we arrived at the hotel at 09:00 after catching the local bus from the airport. Six hours early and the friendly receptionist welcomed us in early and promptly arranged for our room to be prepared. We received an In-depth explanation of facilities, restaurant times and so on, and were given a drinks voucher to redeem two large glasses of wine at the hotel’s modern brand new gastropub. I have stayed at a number of hotels from three to five star- and this was one of the best welcomes i ha e received so far. The same member of staff was always at hand to attentively answer any queries we had during our stay, from questions about on site facilities to landmarks in the locality. We stayed in a standard room on the third floor with a ‘city view’- I would advise against this view as it looks out on to the unattractive residential area that the hotel is situated in- more on this below. The room was well equipped with hot drinks making facilities and shower toiletries, both replenished daily, as well as a safe included. Room furniture was of good quality and there is plenty of storage space to unpack. The dressing
I loved my stay here, definitely recommend this hotel/resort. The bed was so comfy and rooms looked very modern 😍
Well what can I say .... amazing few days away before my trip I emailed to say it was a gift for my sisters 50th .... when we arrived to the room it was decorated out for her it was such a special touch .... we had a room overlooking the pool which I do suggest Is a must the room was perfect for are need lovely bed good bathroom size and all so clean .... breakfast was fab lots to chose from .... loved the setting of the restaurants and the anchor bar to hand .... loved it that much will be returning in few weeks
The only issue I had with the hotel was that there was no rubber bath mat. I slipped getting out of the bath because of this and banged and very badly bruised my arm on the side of the bath. I reported it to the Hotel and a bath mat was brought to our room the next day. I would like to know that they plan to put a rubber bath mat in ‘every’ room as Standard. Once back in the UK I had an XRay and luckily it wasn’t broken.
Absolutely amazing, Food was amazing, Staff very friendly and very welcoming nothing was an issue to them, Rooms beautiful a lot of space for storage, Inside pool area was relaxing, didn't use outside due to weather, All clean definitely would return if I ever visit Malta again.
Nice stay
Very good stay. Clean and well jept place. Good food. Good customer service
Food
The food was so spicy and I dont like spicy food. And no notice for example that it was spicy. I took octopus. They wrote octopus stew. It was very very spicy but did not wrote nothing. I pretend much better food from a 4 star hotel
First time in Malta Weather was very good forJan/Feb Hotel was excellent from start to finish Staff were very attentive Will definitely return
Great New Year's Break!
Amazingly surprised, visit Malta several times a year and this hotel definitely was one of the best four stars. Located in a residential area but close to all amenities. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection of both hot and cold foods. Room was extremely clean with a very pleasant room maid . One down side...… indoor pool needs better changing facilities. Thank you to all you lovely people at Pebbles Resort who made our holiday very enjoyable.
This hotel is extremely far from EVERYTHING and the neighborhood is absolutely awful. It feels like you are walking in a war zone. To get to Valletta, it will take you about 1 hour if you get lucky and the bus is on time. If you take a taxi, you’ll pay around 25-30 euros each way. As the property is still under construction there is noise from both sides (in the pool side you hear construction from the hotel and from the street side you hear noise from the front building that is also under construction lol). Do not stay there; save yourself time and book something in Valetta area.
It was an excellent place to stay. It is fine the staff weere nice and it is in a ggood location
Thank you all at Pebbles Resort. We really enjoyed staying with you. We were treated like family and it felt like home from home. Until next time, wishing you all the best for the festive season.
Amazing Hotel
Great staff, clean room, very quiet room and modern facilities in the room.I will definitely be returning in future.
The resort was close to evetything, and the room was very modrrn and cozy. The staff were very helpful in every way.
Lovely hotel. Had a perfect stay. Shame is was too short but will be back.
Good value hotel. Get the pool facing rooms - worth the upgrade
Great service
Service was excellent. Renovations are still underway but we were not really disturbed by them except for one morning where the banging started before 8am. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds and good bathrooms. It sounds like they are all a bit different as other members in the group had baths and different showers to ours despite all being superior rooms. There were certainly unfinished bits ie the shower riser was not firmly attached, edges of the skirting were not finished but overall the stay was comfortable and staff were accommodating and friendly so we were very happy. Breakfast was excellent with a good buffet selection and we enjoyed the outdoor pool (and the indoor one when it rained).
Excellent service staff amazing with new amazing rooms .We will visit again.
very friendly and efficient staff. very nice indoor pool. on the whole it was a lovely stay. the only negatives are there arent enough tv channels and on a sunday afternoon at 230pm we couldnt have a nap as there were works going on and hammering was load
Nice Hotel and Staff
The Hotel is in an accessible area with the sea front just a 5 minute walk downhill. There is a lot of rubbish strewn around the local area and is generally dirty. It rained heavy on one night and rain was coming into the hotel through the roof and pooling by the interior stairs. This may have something to do with the ongoing building works on the top floors. Also the Hotel and my room absolutely stunk of sewage after the rain for a good 24 hours. The food is good and the staff are fantastic, the pool area is quiet and safe but beware that there are lots of mosquitoes around (October). During 7 days I only had my bed linen changed once and I was out all day long and the cleaners tend to ignore your do not disturb door sign and just enter.
Excellent Hotel
All of the staff are really helpful and friendly, especially Reception. No noise from any refurbishment still underway. Our room was excellent, very smart, a good size with a large balcony facing the pool. Take a pool view rather than an outside view which will look on to an average street. The roads each side of the hotel are fairly quiet so not much traffic noise. You can reach the hotel from the airport by taking an X3 or TD3 bus at 2 or 3 euros each. Set your maps app going before you reach Breakfast is OK with tasty sausages but you must try the Maltese fruit bread. We had 3 meals in the Asian restaurant where the set menu was excellent. The buffet was OK but the food was warm rather than hot. The only minor negative is that the bar staff set the music at the pool too loud. It is usually mind numbing techno without words. They will turn it down if asked nicely. It takes a few minutes to walk down to the sea as it is probably about 400m.
I enjoyed my stay here. The lady on reception was very helpful indeed, I’m very sad to have forgotten her name as I feel she deserves credit (she wore glasses and ponytail) Breakfast is great. My only criticism was that the staff let themselves into my room whilst I had retreated for a nap. This was due to a leak on the floor below (not from my room). A courtesy call before would have been nice but these things happen. All in all I would stay again
They falsely advertise as offering free parking. They do not have free parking available, the country of Malta offer VERY limited free parking to visitors but beware you will be targeted by traffic wardens if you have a hire car and park incorrectly (where they ignore transgressions by Maltese drivers). Be prepared that the free parking allegedly offered by this hotel could mean you parking on the street a good 10 - 15 min walk away after spending half an hour or more of your day trying to find a space. They also advertise a laundry service. On checking in we were informed they categorically do not offer this and Expedia’s website is wrong.
The hotel was clean and all food acceptable. The fact there are still renovations going on and the location of the hotel and some of the guests - a group of care home residents was very off putting.
Will be good
Pebbles resort will be a lovely hotel, however it is currently a bit of a building site. The rooms and corridors are quite dusty despite the cleaners best efforts. All the staff were lovely and pool area lovely and clean with good bar. Breakfast was ok but nothing to rave about with no pancakes or waffles etc which are often included. My main issue was the building work being undertaken from 7am including on a Saturday with hammering on the wall adjacent to our bedroom and drilling.
Rooms are clean but the resto not really good tge food especially at medasia and they served took so long
A great breath of fresh air for this great hotel. Thanks for a fantastic overnight. Had a great meal and really enjoyed the Saturday evening entertainment. Will be back soon. Thanks again to all the team at Pebbles Resort. I definitely agree that this is the place to stay in St. Paul's Bay.
A lovely hotel and lovely staff
Restaurants need more food options for evening. We were fairly invisible for around 15 minutes in the Medasia restaurant one evening even through the waiting staff weren’t too busy. Hotel is nice - but unfinished. On our floor (3) there were a lot of evidence of quality fittings just not being finished off or being protected with door stoppers etc. I understand the hotel will be finished in the winter. The hotel felt a nice quality and being not too full - there was plenty of sun beds and room in the pool. However - I wonder if the pool will be too small when the hotel has all 5 floors open. That said - it is only minutes to the beach. There was only one lift that we could see and again this may be overworked when the hotel is fully open. Reception staff were lovely. Breakfast was great value at £7.50 each. Malta promotes keeping hydrated so having access to free drinking water would have been in keeping with this. We got a bottle each in our hotel room on arrival and had to buy at the bar after that. The complimentary products were really nice but not all topped up daily. I’d watch out for reviews next year to see how the hotel is able to satisfy people when all 5 floors open.
Amazing pool area, with very comfortable sunbeds. Great cocktails served at the pool bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sushi was the best i tasted.
Pebbles
We had a nice stay at Pebbles Resort, we went there for our honeymoon. We asked for a double bed and even if initially we had a city view room booked they gaved us a room with view at the pool-very nice in the evening to relax and enjoy the view. We had a problem with the wather one day but they solve it very fast. I think in the next years Pebbles will hmbe a high price location. The staff from the restaurant/pool changed their outfits 3 times/day. Good breakfast, fantastic staff, clean every day. We will be back! And btw : the manager has one fantastic VW Bus parked in front that he uses daily! Thumbs up! P.S: we had the flight planned at 22:30 in our last day and even if we made the checkout at 10:30 they kept our luggages safe and they gaved us towels and everything we needed to use the inside and outside pool and jacuzzi. Thanks again to the nice brunette lady from reception for this!
3 day stay
The hotel is definitely having teething problems. It is spotlessly clean and restaurant staff are superb but reception are encountering difficulties with dealing with checking in and out guests. Staff are pleasant but are not equipped to deal with the amount of issues and guests at once. Breakfast is chaotic and choices are extremely limited given it is a 4star hotel. Too small a serving area for the amount of guests and one coffee machine is insufficient. Medasia restaurant serves delicious Asian food. Would recommend.

Lovely hotel
Hotel lovely, 5 min Wallk to night life. Only complaint is the pool was being repaired/cleaned during stay so couldn’t use it, no prior warning before hand.
