Amazing Resort Friendly Management Close to beach Lap pool

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment in mid-January. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The area was quiet despite it being mid-January. The property is right next to the beach, which is a plus. Perhaps the only slight downside for some is that it is not really within walking distance of the town area - particularly in the hot weather. But for us, that was a positive as it meant the property was quiet. It's only a two or so minute drive to town.

A perfect place to unwind and disconnect from the stress of everyday life! The property was beautifully clean and very close to the beach—we could walk along the shore for ages! Inside, it was spotless and tidy, equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need.

Beautiful well set out rooms, that were clean and spacious, great location to the beach and surrounding shops and sightseeing attractions. The communication was also, great from the management and staff

Spacious and comfortable apartment

Very spacious well equipped and self contained apartment. Large verandah with BBQ and some water views and pool views. Direct access to beach - no roads to cross. Overall, very comfortable stay

Enjoyed being close to beach.

A quality modern propertywe stayed in a three bedroom apartment booked as a one bedroom. A short walk through the dunes to the beach. A short drive to Agens Water or 1770.

Relaxed place to stay, great service, close to the beach

Very nice, needs better maintenance

Pavilions always nice, but the privately owned rooms always have maintenance issues. This time it was a falling down curtain rail, a blinking bathroom light, and a blocked drain in one of the bathroom handbasins. They were minor, but every visit there’s a minor problem.

Loved the sound of the ocean at night. So relaxing.

We absolutely loved the apartment and the fact that it had a few essential items like gladwrap, paper towelling etc. However, we thought two big lounges are a bit past their used by date and no longer really very comfortable. Also a blind or another folding louvre on the balcony would be great as the sun can be blinding when trying to eat outside in the morning. The staff there were great and very helpful. Thank you. We look forward to returning to Pavillions on 1770.

Both accesses from apartments to the beach were impassible due to dune erosion. One closed by council the other required athletic skills greater than mine to navigate up and down to the beach. Great shame - I could hear the waves and glimpse them from my apartment through the trees just could not get down to the beach.

Lovely friendly staff. Lizards, turtles, dolphins and more. Safe braches just steps away. Lots of school age kids during holidays but well behaved.

We had a great stay, spacious apartment with access to the pool Out the front. Short walk to the beach. Quiet and great to hear the ocean with the doors open. Would highly recommend!!

Lovely, spacious place to stay

Stayed during the week for 5 nights to get some R&R. The apartment felt spacious, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. It's just a short walk to the beach and has cold and heated pools in the property. Was mostly very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Impressive! The apartments have everything you need. There is a restaurant just up the road too :)

This property is amazing and by far the cleanest unit we have ever stayed in (and we have travelled alot within Australia and overseas) The unit and kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The building, pool, gardens and BBQ areas were spotless and very well kept- (looked like no one lived there) Staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights - wish it was longer. Cannot recommend this property enough - amazing

Excellent choice if staying in this area

We loved our 5 night stay. Relaxing, great beach and walks and excellent management would definitely stay again.

the rooms where clean and everything available in rooms lovely furniture paintings etc . The rooms where quiet and the view from room was pleasing . Was very happy in my stay and would stay again

Perfect pavilion for the family

It was a fantastic experience. The place is clean, and we did not expect to get the three-bedroom instead. I like the view and the jacuzzi in the main bedroom. The area is very convenient. Highly recommend it and will be back again in the future.

Perfect Pavillions

Beautiful property for our stay at Agnes Water! Incredibly friendly and informative staff. Wonderful apartment in a perfect position. We loved every moment of our stay and look forward to returning someday in the future.

Great for a family beach at small distance from unit

One of the better apartments we have ever stayed at. Still newish but starting to scuff. Amenities good but the house WiFi is dodgy at best. Mostly had to get out on phone hotspot. Other than that very good layout, nice and quiet and close to the beach (walking distance).

Apartment was well set out with everything you might need. We liked how the buildings were set put, formation meant you qwrent iverlooked.

It was so quiet when we stayed, we had the pool to ourselves for every swim. The heated pool was a bonus in the cool wind. We would definitely stay again.

Our 3 bedroom unit was spacious and well appointed offering an amazing ocean view. Will definitely stay here again 10/10

Our preferred holiday spot in 1770. Our room was clean, comfortable and perfect for us and our children. Can't wait to come back!

This is such a deceiving property. The units are amazing, very spacious, beautifully designed and modern. It's a beautiful short stroll to the beach through a bush clad walk way. Each section of the complex has a beautiful pool with spa. What took my surprise was how many units are in this complex and the fact that it is completely private and quiet. Will definitely not hesitate to book here again.

The location and staff were excellent. Great location

Had a great stay, apartment was massive. Only negatives the kitchen knives were blunt and the king bed bowed into the middle. Aside from that awesome stay. Loved that the room is accomodating for small children. They have colouring paper and pencils/textas along with a few board games.

We loved staying here, perfect location, pool was lovely. The room was so spacious.

The size of the apartment and the decor was excellent and we loved the attention to detail. Having access to a lap pool, heated pool, kids pool and a spa was great. The beach was also only a two minute walk as the apartment was a stone throw away from the beach. Will definitely try and stay here again.

The room was very disappointing considering how much it cost. Not sure if it has been properly cleaned in a long time or maintenance be done. The amount of dust that was in the aircon vents was very concerning. They obviously dont reverse the venetian blinds in bathroom and clean. You wouldnt open the window in main bedroom as there is a colony of wasps in the tracks. The fridge water dispenser didnt work, the front door wouldnt close or lock properly and the overall cleanliness in the unit was disappointing. Lucky we had a great time in 1770/Agnes and didnt spend much time at the hotel.

Liked the spacious apartment and location just a short walk across sand dunes to the beach and halfway between Agnes Water and 1770. Being ground floor the apartment was quite cool as didn't really get any sun but would be perfect in summer to help stay cool. Wasn't an issue as heating worked well. The higher levels might have ocean views and more sun which would be desirable in the winter months. Apartment had all the kitchen equipment we needed and everything was clean and working. None of the outdoor pools including spa pool were heated, which was a shame, but in summer expect they would be ideal. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Relaxing location

Large apartment in quiet complex, although a little dated. The furniture in our apartment needs updating - especially the worn and uncomfortable lounges. Spa pool was out of order our entire stay which was a little disappointing and cleaners were still cleaning when we arrived after 2pm check-in so had to disappear for 15 minutes. Not a bad spot though, close to beach but need car to get to dining options. Agnes Waters Tavern highly recommended!

The beach is amazing! Staff was very kind. The apartment is very nice but aircon wasn’t working.

Worth a visit

Nice clean hotel with good sized rooms and clean facilities. Well stocked kitchen and good amenities provided. Room smelt a little damp when we got there, however leaving the doors open for a while helped. Great fridge and freezer with ice maker and water on demand. Good parking and free internet. If staying longer than a few days bring washing tablets for the dishwasher with you and some paper towel and tea towel. Overall a good clean well sized apartment with friendly staff. For the pool, BYO pool towel or hire one for $5 for the stay. Access to the beach convenient. Would stay here again.

Good sized apartment and balcony. Felt it was a bit overpriced for the furnishings. Ocean front means two dunes back but you can see the ocean but no beach on the top floor. We had a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Great sized apartments close to beach

This is our second time at Pavilions. Great location close to the beach. Pool is heated and good bbq facilities. Apartments and rooms are large and balconies are great. Kitchen is well equipped for all you need on your stay. Only issue this time was there was hair (not ours) in one of the bowls and a few of the glasses had obviously not been washed properly. This may be because guests are required ro clean before they leave so cleanliness is really dependent on the previous guests who stayed. Overall fantastic place to stay....would gladly stay again

We liked the space and close to the beach the landscaping was great the apartment was tired and would need freshened up. Carpets and upholstery stained and worn the manager couple were lovely and helpful.

The room was styled really nice, felt like home. The units are at the end of culdersac so it’s nice & quite & so close to the beach!! The kids loved the pools!

Good location on waterfront, with a bit of a walk through a track to the beach. Our 3 bedroom unit was spacious, with all we needed and modern and very clean and comfortable and quiet. Undercover parking with lift made for easy access. Shops and cafes in short driving distance. Would definitely stay again.

Perfectly clean on arrival, well appointed and large. Comfortable beds and lounges, got for families TVs in bedrooms and lounge room for time apart. Full size fridge, oven loads of storage space 6 seat dining table plus another 6 seater on the balcony. A few minor issues freezer didn’t seal well and would pop open when shutting fridge (solved by pushing edge of seal back into place, washers lid also come unhooked during spin cycle just need to be restarted and pushed down, the dryer had a similar problem. Location is great central to shops, close to 1770 and a short walk to the beach. Shared pool facilities are well maintained 4 pools on site a lap style pool on its own, the 3 in a shared area, kids wading, spa and heated pool. For the price you won’t get better in the area.

Worth ever dollar

Really top hotel excellent condition good location with plenty of room in apartment with secure car parking.

Really nice location- walk down to the beach. The grounds are well kept and the pool area cleaned every morning. The deeper pool was heated but the little kids pool wasn’t which I thought was strange. Check in was a mess. Reception isn’t open on sundays - you press a button to talk to someone but it kept dropping out, eventually got through by phoning. Then our room wasn’t ready (cleaners were still in it). I expected that someone would’ve let us know before. I gave feedback that the room wasn’t ready and we hadn’t been informed but received no phone call regarding this. Strange. Overall the room was good as was the pool area and location but there was no customer service - no contact with anyone.

Had a wonderful time and the units are so spacious

Everything was very good except our room was not ready until 4.30pm.

reat Place for a Few Days Away

Reception staff could have been more welcoming and inviting.

Excellent place with everything you need. It was let down by the staff who appeared to not care and also some struggled to understand It is appreciated that during COVID times we need to confirm who we are but the questions were the most intense of all of our 9 different places we stayed. It is a shame as this was a lovely place last time we visited.

Lovely well appointed apartment with lift access which was ideal.only disappointment was that the unit faced towards the south and never got any sunshine at all which made outdoor terrace not usable.Next time will request a sunny balcony.Also TV reception very unreliable but was not really a big deal.

This was a lovely clean fresh and airy apartment. The bed was really comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. Close access to beach and a quiet complex.

Fantastic apartments

Lovely complex steps from the beach. Totally relaxing. Comfortable beds and every am,enity you could want.

Very neat and clean unit with an amazing view of the ocean which was a very short walk away.

It is a very modern, well appointed and comfortable apartment. Very spacious, private and special venue. It has glimpses of the ocean with the soothing surround sounds of the waves which makes it therapeutic and restful. Pavillions is perfectly situated between Agnes Water and Town of 1770. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We had a lovely time here, it took us 20 years to get here, but it made the wait so worthwhile.

A pleasant surprise

The accommodation was much better than we anticipated and hopefully will be staying again. As hubby has some medical conditions, we were placed in an ideal room to cater for this. The unit was amazing but could do with some minor fix ups eg, larger frying pan that doesn’t stick and a pair of kitchen scissors. Also a lounge with head support would be better, as due to back and neck injuries and surgeries, this would be needed to compliment an already great accommodation.

Disappointed.

Property was good but sadly they upgraded us to a horrible 3 bedroom appt with a tv that did not work properly and an air conditioner that did not work at all.

The property is close to the beach and was overall a nice, tidy apartment block. I wish we had looked at the layout of the apartments as we were across the road from the kids pool area. What was really disappointing was the cleanliness of the the apartment. The carpet was so filthy that when I ran my foot over the carpet, piles of hair balled up everywhere. Very off-putting so we all wore shoes the entire time and would not allow our small children to play on the floor without throwing a clean blanket down. The lounges were also quite grubby and we didn't sit on them without a blanket over them. Admittedly, I should have told reception but we were only there for 2 nights and didn't want to make a fuss. Such a shame as the unit was a great size and quite nice inside.

Great place to relax

Had a wonderful 3 days with my partner to unwind on our way further up north Qld. Was lovely and quiet perfect position on the beach with a well appointed apartment. We were not there during the holidays but over a normal weekend.

Excellent stay - large rooms, fabulous location. Well cared for, site managers very visible cleaning/ servicing pool areas etc. Pool access rooms recommended for families . On beach, kids loved seeing turtle tracks in mornings.

Quiet, clean and relaxing

Pavillion at 1770 is such a relaxing location.... the resort is quiet and very well maintained. Great for a family or for a coulle looking for R & R like us. If you want to stay in Agnes Water, stay here!

Amenities were good. Location was good and was close to the beach. The staff were very pleasant The unit we stayed in needed general maintenance and the carpet was in very poor condition. Overall we were happy with our stay.

This property is an extended stay hotel, several residents were well "encamped" lots of laundry hanging and a lot of belongings on balconies. Not everyone, just a couple. This was not an issue, it was very quiet. I think the unit we rented wad the only unit they did short term because it had its own garage, all the other units had underground parking that included storage units, something that is left separate from the garage for this unit. The place was very large, like an apartment, and clean. But let it be know what you have for towels is all you get and the front desk is only available during the day. We would have liked to know this was extended stay and that we may need some items, like paper towels, or additional towels for swimming. Over all this fit our needs as we only needed to sleep there, but it was nice and quiet.

Excellent place to stay. Great facilities and great location.

Was a good place to relax and chill. Unfortunately went on an overcast weekend so only saw a small amount of what the area had to offer
