Perfect Road Trip Overnighter
We stayed here overnight while driving from Krabi to Nakhon Phenom for a festival. The location is quiet and shaded. The bungalows are clean and the owner is very friendly. Other than the beds being rather hard, it was perfect for our needs and we would stay again. The location is only about 1 km off the main highway but you would never know it from the quiet night we had. We were back on the road the following morning.
Great budget stay on the way back to Bangkok.
Situated not far from the main artery of Thailand, the Phahonyothin Road (Road number 1), southbound to Bangkok, this resort is an excellent choice for people wishing a night’s rest before heading home to Bangkok at the end of a holiday period, which usually involves terrible traffic. The resort is managed by a nice elderly woman who is very helpful in directing me the way to a nearby market for something to eat, since there are no restaurant at the resort. The room offered excellent value and has the usual facilities for a good stay. The breakfast is included, but it is quite basic with toast and coffee or tea and can be taken on the spot at the reception area or taken into the room. The wifi inside the room was surprisingly strong, and there is no problem at all to stream your favorite movie or watching a Youtube clip. More than excellent value for the price paid!

Down a narrow road flanked by mosquito filled trash strewn rice paddies, dirt and gravel parking lot, soi dogs, loud thumping music at 4 am. Very hard mattress set in top of permanent concrete platform. Leaking a/c that was a fixed with a piece of wood that pointed directly onto mattress. Busy body in keeper that dug through our trash bag.
