The owners of this hotel literally made our trip even better than expected. Their presence and the hotel itself were great. Will be staying here for the future trips we take to the area.

No bath towels, hand towels, or washcloths provided. Asked manager about them he said limited availability and housekeeping would leave some as soon as the could. Came back later, nothing was left inside. Could not take a shower or bath. Non working light fixture on the wall left side of the bed. 2 non working LED light bulbs over the sink replaced one with bulb from non working fixture.

I liked the price but you get what you pay for. Limited towels. Broken door handle and hole in door.

I did not like the hotel because it advertised a swimming pool but it was not in service.

I was very disappointed that the swimming pool and the hot tub was not working. I don't understand why the hotel advertised a swimming pool when it is out order.

Great stay!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Dirty, curtains falling off the windows, ceiling falling in in the bathroom, dirty tub, dirty shower curtain - that was falling off the rod, stopped up dirty sink, just disgusting. No breakfast, or even coffee - told not in season - yet advertised. Not that I would have trusted to consume. If you’re looking for a crap hole hotel - this is it. What’s a shame is with just a little bit of effort on the owners behalf it could be at least decent.

There were cockroaches in my room. I left immediately!

Absolutely horrible. Took 4 time to get a room that was "clean " then 4th one the bathroom ceiling was black with mold. The heater was not up to code .

Check in was easy, staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bed wasn’t great but also not terrible. It’s a basic room so I’m not expecting too much from it but it was difficult because there were no cups provided- of any sort. Also there were no trashcans. We used plastic bags from the grocery store instead. We also asked for cup/plate to reheat leftovers but were only provided a mug style cup that the front desk person said had washed out and said we could use. I get not providing everything, but certainly some paper plates due to advertising serving breakfast and maybe some plastic cups for water/cold drinks at least would be helpful. We did not check out the pool or hot tub advertised so I do not have any input there. Overall, it’s very affordable, the room was clean, the staff friendly, and for a quick overnight stay we had few complaints. But you never realize how much those little things matter until you don’t have them!

Biggest dump I've ever stayed in. No toilet paper in the room, no holder. Had to set the tp on the tub. No trash at all in the room or bathroom. Only outlet in the room was coming out of the wall. The water valve on toilet was coming out of the wall. There was black marks on the bed sheets that didn't fit the bed. And I don't know if the windows have ever been cleaned. I should have asked for my $50 back. It wasn't worth it! The guy at the front desk was nice enough, but just said sorry. I would add the photos i took but it won't let me upload.

Neat and mostly clean. Only one chair. Helpful staff. Shower curtain was dirty. No amenities (soap, shampoo etc). Economy room, worth the price.

Cheap and convenient, but bare bones. Trash in the room under the bedside tables. I noticed roaches on the floor and wall, looked behind the mini fridge and there was a colony. Reported to the front desk who offered to switch my room but would not refund me, and I chose to leave.

Had to pay $50 deposit on room instead of holding charge if there was damage. Awaiting charge to be credited

The price was great and better than my plan A of sleeping in my car, but in the 6 hours I was there and awake I had to crush 4 baby ca ca row cheese', 1 ma ma ca ca row cheese and 1 bee dill. Oh yeah and choose not to use the wash rag with 2.5" hair on it. Good thing it was just me and not my family. We would have demanded a refund and found somewhere else.

Definitely avoid if you can help it

Honestly, I never leave reviews, good or bad, but this experience at this property was way below an acceptable standard for a motel or hotel in North America, that I felt obligated to say something. The check-in process was frustrating as can be, the initial room that they assigned me the keycard reader didn't work after 3 trips back to the main office, the new room that they gave me didn't have anything that worked properly, the curtains were falling off the wall, the toilet seat was detached from the toilet, the TV didn't work at all, and the shower dripped uncontrollably. If I wasn't so tired from my travels I don't think I'd have slept that much. At least one of the two beds that I had in the room was clean, so I'll give them that. Nobody cared to ask how my stay was when I checked out, so here's my chance to say it.

Don't stay here!

The stay was acceptable for a cheap hotel. What is the major PROBLEM is the properties management. They required a $50 damage deposit as a separate charge. I asked why not a hold on the CC like other hotels? Was told that is not the way they do business. I was also told it would be refunded after my stay. It now been 12 days since, with no refund. I've contacted the property twice with no success. Hotels.Com has contacted the property with no results. The CC company has been notified and he Missouri Attorney General is next on my list. I'll probably never see my $50, but you can save yourself from losing money to this property by going somewhere else. I believe this is intentional. I did not smoke (don't smoke) or damage the room in any way.

Very clean, there was Netflix, the room was spacious enough for myself and my 2 granddaughters. The girls enjoyed themselves. The pool was closed, other than that it was a good stay.

So to start off there aren’t ANY trash cans in the room. Our lights didn’t work and the curtain was falling down. We had to hold the curtain with shoes so we had some kind of privacy. It’s expensive to stay here, I paid $154 a night plus a $50 deposit for less than the bare minimum. DO NOT STAY HERE.

There is a broken step going up to the second level they need to fix before someone really starts hurt. It’s closes to the street.

Stay away from this buggy motel! Nasty No refund, checked in and immediately left due to infested with cockroaches as they were everywhere. Had other bugs to but not sure what they were. Worth losing a hundred dollars vs bringing bugs home.

I made, and paid for, reservation thru Travelocity. When I arrived they required a credit card charge of $50 for "Damages". I was told this would be a temporary hold on my credit card and it would be released when I checked out. upon entering the room I discovered existing holes in the walls and was dirty. I left the next morning before the office opened. My "deposit" has not been returned. Made several calls to the number and only received a message they cannot answer and have no voicemail. Going thru credit card dispute since no one there will respond. I do not recommend anyone stay at this place.

The staff was very friendly but the room i booked online was not the room i got. That was ok considering that i only needed it to sleep for one night. The room was infested with roaches and i didn't notice until i came back from my event really late and left my belongings in my car until the next morning and left. I wont book there again.

Great service in the lobby. As far as the room it was very poor. No shower curtain. And the AC quite very frequently and had a very odd smell. When we woke up the following morning there was little bugs all over the floor

If I needed to stay there again it was no problem

It was all good I had no problems whatsoever I recommended to everyone and anyone the price is for reasonable and the service was really great

Room without a trash can

The room is very clean, bed is comfortable, bathroom/ tub could be updated. No trash can in the entire room. Instead of a microwave, they could add a little fridge. But for one night it was good, the prize a bit to high.

Not a good place to stay

When we checked in the gentleman at the front desk was extremely nice and accommodating. We went to our room which was number 203 and it smelled like musty smoke smell. We were changed to room 112. In room 112 we discovered there were no candles on any of the drawers on the dressers, there is no closets or place to hang clothes up. There is no mirror over the bathroom sink. There is two full size towels, one hand towel, and one washcloth for the bathroom There was a dirty washrag hanging over the shower, curtain rod in the bathroom, and there was a package of tortillas, plastic spoons, napkins, and a unopened bag of pork rinds in one of the dresser drawers. When we returned that evening after going to a friends home, there was a cockroach on my hot rollers that I put on the sink top. On Saturday evening when we returned from a friends home, our keys would not work for entry into the room and I had to get them re-programmed at 11 PM at night. There was another cockroach that was in the hand towel that was laying on the sink top. When we picked it up, the cockroach fell out and went under the bathroom vanity. When we returned on Sunday evening, our keys once again did not work, and I had to go to the front desk at midnight and get them re-programmed.

Easy to get in and out of property. Very quiet and super nice owners.

We didnt have any soap in our room but we had shower gel. Our bed was comfortable, the room was clean, price range reasonable.

Toilet had not been cleaned bed not useable tried to use full bed size sheets on a king size bed reassigned us a room seemed ok at first until we opened bathroom door ceiling had fell shower not useable due to ceiling material black mold

The staff was really nice and did what they could but the acutal room was in rough shape. The "remodel" was not complete causing the room to be lacking in seating, no where to hang clothes, no fridge, screws sticking out of the floor in the doorframe, the repainted dresser and table weren't sealed after painted so the paint was already coming off, and we didn't have towels in the room. Until the property is done with remodeling me and my husband do not plan to stay again.

I liked that I can have my dog with me. A/C broke fell on floor, not blowing cool. Staff had us switch room.The Gentlemen working was very nice person.

The room looked nothing like the pictures on their website. The curtains have holes in them. Someone had thrown up in the sink and it wouldn’t drain. There were two towels. No wash clothes or bath rug. Very little toiletries like most hotels have. The lights flickered. It sounded like they were remodeling the room above us all night. When I left I tried talking to the front desk person but he wouldn’t get off his cell phone to speak to me. And it was insanely expensive! Had the room looked anything like the website.. maybe.

Staff is excellent!

Staff was friendly. It was perfect for my one night stay. Did not have mirror above sink in my room and no hair dryer in the room. TV roku was great and all the options available on a roku tv. Nothing fancy just a place to sleep.

Good weekend stay

The front desk was very kind! The room was good! The bed was comfortable and clean! All together a well put together stay.

There were no cups, tissue or small coffee pot. Small amount of toilet paper. Had to go to guy and get extra toilet paper. No blanket to keep us warm. The bedspread was really thin and torn and had holes in it. Also the breakfast was hardly nothing. When my husband went to return the keycard it smelled like marijuana in the front area.

We enjoy our stay here. The place was clean and comfortable. The Tesla destination charger worked great and got us home without stopping. Love that. The ice machine was broken. The room could have used a chair or two and extra blankets, but we made it through. The staff is very helpful and nice.

Would never go here again

There was blood on the on the mattress pad and sheets. Went to the office to ask for a refund on the two rooms and they refused to give it. There was some unhappy words sad. Had to pay a 100.00 deposit and now they would not give back the deposit because we were very upset. I live on a budget and I think is crazy because the deposit was suppose to be for damage in the rooms and there was no damage in the rooms. No one even stayed in the rooms that night we left.

Staff was good. The property was only fair. Cigarette burns in the bathroom . Dirt on the floors. Flys in the room.

This property needs some serious attention. Curtains barely close. Light switch in pool house is exposed, extremely dangerous!!

The check in process was a little long, but the man was very professional and very nice. They were under construction. Beds were comfortable, floor were dirty and the towels may have been cleaned but not white. The shower head was very low under 5' 5". Curtains were not attached at the end makeing it difficult to close.

Everyone was nice but the room was not so good. The sheets appeared clean but the bottom sheet had cigarette burn holes that remained. There was also no blanket on the bed sheets & a light cover, in December. The bathroom door wouldn't close. Had to use the patio chair on the outside to use at the desk. The water was nice and warm though. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast but all they had was coffee & no creamer.

The stay was good. The bed was a little low. There could have been better blankets, it seemed a little light. The shower leaked when you turned it on. Service was great although the advertisement stated a continental breakfast and they don’t do that during off season.

This hotel is awful

Worse hotel I have ever stayed at!! First two rooms they offered were not even cleaned at all, beds not made, dirty towels in the bathroom, trash all over the room….the third room was still dirty but at least had clean towels and bedding so made the best of it as they would not refund!!! Cigarette and marijuana smoke came through the ventilation system off and on all night. Very difficult to get anyone to answer the desk in person or phone, had to go buy our own toilet paper because there was none…..lots of sketchy activity around the hotel….nothing like it was advertised and hugely disappointing

This place is awful. The toilet seat was broken and laying on the floor. Horrible place. Very stretchy place. Never will stay there again.

Awful!

Charged a $50 deposit to guard against smoking in room. Young in charge had to phone someone every time we had a question No breakfast. Couldn't find the coffee, milk rancid and the few pastries there were were old. Did not supply a new toilet roll which we didn't realize until late. No coffee maker, drapes missing rings just hung on rod so hard to close. A/C until was noisy and did not shut off all night. It was the end of their season but they could try to keep up some sort of standard.

Not so good. The service there was excellent. The man that checked us in and the housekeeping staff was so nice and so helpful! The hotel though. Ugh. Nasty. The room we stayed in had a hole in the wall from the door handle hitting it, I am pretty sure there was a blood stain under the hole. The bathroom door looked to be kicked in and would not shut, could not even force it shut, and under the toilet paper holder, somebody (and no clue as to why) smeared poop on the wall. I don't know if it was stained that way, if somebody missed it in the cleaning, I have no clue but it was there and it was gross! It was late at night for us to check in, I would have not stayed if it were not late. Gut again, the staff was great.

Had to go multiple times to the receptionist to get my card reactivated or reloded and my room was a long ways from there, also there is never any parking, there was mold in the room looks like and no deadbolt

This place is filthy in the rooms. It's worse in the hallways. They are attempting to update I think. Stay away.

There are tenants living full time in this hotel that is run down.

Filthy mattress and dead bugs

Dead bugs in every single corner the stench was untakable and my wife and I literally left after 30 minutes we didn't even bring our stuff inside we stayed long enough for her to get ready for the concert we were going to and then just decided to drive an hour and a half home afterwards and just wasted $116 but I would rather waste the money then stay in this place I'm not joking I'm not exaggerating this is the worst motel or hotel I've ever seen in my life.

Oh Well...

Lobby was inviting and the desk clerk was very friendly. Unfortunately our room wasn't what we expected from the pictures on the web site. The bed was a Murphy bed and only about a foot above the floor. The mini fridge wasn't plugged in and some wallpaper was peeling but overall the room appeared ok. We were rushed to get checked in before attending a wedding so we didn't have time to request a move to a room with a "standard" type of bed. Bottom line, we didn't stay the night and didn't request a refund.

Room wasn't up to par

No towels in the bathroom. Holes kicked into the bathroom door. Window covering wouldn't close propely. Trash can was full. It was like someone was using the room, but made the bed.

Really dissapointing at 12-2:30am.

After waiting for 2 and a half hours for someone working the check-in counter. The front desk attendant refused to use my state issued Digital ID, which can only be aquired using my physical ID. Have stayed at 4 hotels/airBnB and not one found my ID to be unusable. But apparently if they cant scan it, which it has a scanable barcode, they are incapable of recording the information with their own eyes. My fault for assuming my ID that has worked for three weeks wouldnt work at this hotel. Proceeded to go to hotel down the road with NO problem.

The first room I was put in the door would not lock. I was then switched rooms and the new room smelled like it was just painted. Drawers all had dirt and debris in them. The bathroom showerhead and handle for water were both falling off.

Very nice hotel with convenient location

It was my first time staying here, I chose this hotel because of the convenient location. All my expectations were met and I had a great experience here. I will be back to stay again when I'm visiting the area.

Our room was adequate for the price. There was no TP in the bathroom and only a thin blanket on the beds. Could have used more of both. The pool was closed.

Didn’t like anything. We just waited too late to stay anywhere else during the fishing tournament and state shoot. There’s not even an ice machine and the promised breakfast wasn’t there. Pretty much like a bad motel in a movie!

Meh

Not the most amazing stay somewhere, but still not my worst! Bed is hard with very little bedding (froze all night). Once the lights were on in the room, the bedspread had all sorts of stains. My TV remote didn't work. I also had to go to the front desk as my room did not have ANY towels. I'd stay again if in a bind, otherwise I will steer clear of this place.

Gross and nasty stay

Very nasty mold on the walls and in bathroom, dirty towels, no remote for Tv , you could see under the front door in the hall way, cigarette burns on the blankets, smelled very bad , drawers broken when pulled it out . No trash cans in room, left over food in refrigerator was really Gross!

Not Returning

I was scared to use the towels. They appeared to be freshly washed but were very dingy. There was no trash can in the room. Has no microwave or refrigerator. I was leery about getting under the covers. I slept on top of the covers. It was a very cheap rate and you definitely get what you paid for. I doubt we will ever stay here again.

Truthfully its ok for emergency or short notice

Had to change rooms before we even got to put all stuff in it due to a pre inspection that i did with pics can post if needed 2nd room much nicer looking but was still horribly dirty and had different flaws

The building we stayed smelled moldy. Our room smelled very moldy.
