Very nice large rooms and friendly staff

Beautiful rooms.

It is a little off the beaten path but it is quiet at night. The restaurant was good. The breakfast is amazing and the staff was helpful. The apartment is large and wonderful for a family. It was very clean.

All the staff at the hotel/property were really friendly and nice except for the female staff in the restaurant. The female staff in the restaurant had no patience and spoke very abruptly I am not sure if it’s because she struggled to understand what I was trying to say. The front desk staff was so welcoming the staff to the pool and the spa were also very nice. Even the 2 males in the restaurant were pleasant.

An Exceptional Stay – One for the Books! From the moment we stepped through the doors, our experience here has been nothing short of incredible. The welcoming atmosphere was palpable, and the reception staff greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality, setting the tone for a truly memorable stay. We were allocated a Business Apartment, and upon check-in, we were guided through the parking rules—simple and convenient. As long as a space isn’t marked as reserved, you’re free to park anywhere at no additional cost, as it’s included in the stay. The Apartment – Comfort Meets Functionality The Business Apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and filled with a fresh, inviting scent. It was fully equipped with high-quality white goods, making it feel like a true home away from home. Thoughtful touches such as complimentary water and coffee, which were replenished daily during housekeeping, made all the difference. The kitchen left nothing to be desired—it was fitted with a fridge, oven, stove, coffee machine, kettle, cutlery, pans, and everything else you’d need for a self-sufficient stay. The bedroom featured a large and comfortable bed, though the pillows leaned on the softer side. Still, everything else was just perfect. The bathroom was modern, immaculately clean, and well-stocked. In the living area, the sofa bed provided extra space and added to the overall functionality of the apartment. Dining – A Mixed Bag, but Breakfast Stole the Show

Two bedroom apartment stay

The stay we had was a two bedroom apartment which was very comfortable and spacious. The amenities were great and we had everything we needed to make our stay great. As a group of four we had previously stayed in two hotel rooms and this was much more of a social set up which we preferred

Absolutely huge room, one of the biggest I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was average. Bed and pillows were horrible, woke up each morning tired and sore back. Paid for spa access, and we showed up in bathing suits and shirts. We were told to go back to the room and take off clothes except bathing suit and robe, and to wear the paper flip flops. The deck was so slippery that both myself and my daughter fell. Overall, we were disappointed.

We had a great time in our 5days stay , love the SPA excellent hospitality, amenities, food,and service special thanks 🙏 to staff Elena and Misha from the restaurant. The orhideea residence and SPA is highly recommended . We want to go back again next time .

Really lovely stay in Bucharest

This was our first time in Bucharest and at this hotel. Our accommodation was spacious, the spa facilities were great for us and our two young children. Tasty breakfast and dinner options for vegetarians. Would highly recommend- thank you! :-)

Nice place

Property was located close to public transportation which was convenient, staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious with enough room for a family of 4. The property is dated but we didn’t mind. The restaurant upstairs offered some decent quality food for dinner but we found breakfast redundant. Over all a great stay for the reasonable price.

An honest review

The complex was massive and has the most amazing spa and pool facilities! The rooms were very spacious and could easily accommodate numerous guests. The restaurant was located on the top floor with a spectacular view of all of Bucharest! The real highlight of our stay was the spa and pool complex. It was massive and expansive, with one large lap pool, a children’s pool and a spa. There were 3 saunas and a steam room , as well as a massage and tanning areas! Making it a very relaxing and comfortable place. The location was alright, it was close to a large shopping centre and metro and tram stops. Again, an amazing place and a great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean, staff were very helpful and professional, and we really enjoyed the spa. It was just a 10 minute walk from a shopping center, 20 minute walk to the train station and/or the subway system. Breakfast was fantastic!

This is a gemstone amongst the city The apartments are big well equipped the pool the spa facilities amazing the restaurant on the roof the sky garden the food and the staff amazing loved the place but the area is not so nice but Uber or local train station can take you to other parts where there is beauty I can’t fault the hotel they are a hidden gem ! Staff were lovely bless them

Front desk gentlemen was absolutely fantastic. Help us with transportation, ideas and provide even some decaffeinated coffee for me. Huge apartment with everything you need. More than everything, but the best things are the mattresses and sheets. The sheets are better then the sheets at Ritz Plaza! Definitely will go back. Included breakfast was awesome as well, not the regular food you get at other places.

Beautiful property, huge rooms, comfortable beds. The spa was wonderful, I highly recommend the massages! The restaurant had a lavish breakfast buffet. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Bucharest.

Great hotel

Everything was great

Very good size apartments. No jets in any tub, they are all broken. Kitchen is barely useful, not much available to cook with. If you're going in the winter and need heating, note that the apartment heaters will make laud noises every hour that require you to wake tweak the settings to make it stop. The advise was to leave them on max to avoid that noise which makes the room a sauna.

All staff were friendly and helpful. Apartment was soacious and clean and had everything you would need Aircon essential. Terrace balcony lovely. Used the spa and pool one day, lovely. Swedish massage was a lovely treat. Room service meals very good. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty.

Great property, spacious rooms(could use some updating but otherwise nice), friendly and attentive staff. The amenities are really nice including the gym. The breakfast buffet is delicious with great variety. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely stay there in future travels.

Nowhere to eat

Well I went due to the facilities. Spa bath, excellent restaurant etc. jacuzzi bath - all switched off. Restaurant - closed. No reason when I asked and it quite clearly said ‘open’ No local restaurant so walked to Auchan and got bread and beer!!. Signage for hotel poor Once I found it, I was very happy with the quality and size of the room and breakfast was excellent.

The apartment was very nice, with a big living room and nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything one could need was there. The big downside for me was that there was no ramp to enter the building with a stroller. I had to carry the stroller up a steep flight of stairs every time. Same thing getting into the restaurant on the top floor. The elevators are small and take a while to come. Since I had a stroller, I couldn’t take the stairs.

Very good place, strongly recommended. One note, the water in pool was pretty dirty in the evening. This may be due the lack of the cleaning process.

Almost everything's good. The room is clean and big. The staff are nice and friendly. The breakfast is great. Only things they can improve may be replacing the shower head (there are scratches on my shower head) and provide a bigger tooth paste. I know they can't improve the area right outside the hotel, but it looks a bit freaky at night (the old and broken buildings around the hotel). To emphasize, the hotel area is great.

This is a hotel attached to Spa as opposed to the opposite and so most of the persons on site are users of the gym, pool and other facilities. There is no doubt that at one point this hotel would of been classed luxurious but today, it looks and feels tired. The decor is dated, as is the furniture and bedding and the bathrooms desperately need renewing. It feels neglected and you sense that the Spa is the priority in the building. There was no receptionist at the desk when we checked in and we waited 15mins for the Spa receptionist to serve us. We ordered room service food (8.45pm) that was only available until 9.00pm and it took 90mins to arrive. In fairness, the food was very good but at 10.20pm your appetite is beginning to subside. We stayed in the suite and it was spacious but had only a single air conditioning unit to the Lounge and the outside temperature was over 30 deg, making sleeping difficult. There were 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower that leaked all over the floor. This had a surface mounted multi jet unit but was loose and only partly worked. In it's day in the 70's or 80's this would of been state of the art but today it just looked tacky. Breakfast was on the upper floor with extensive views and outside seating if you wanted it. The food selection was ok and we left suitably fed but this was not an inspiring stay and I suspect you could find equally or better hotels in the city for your money.

Hotel was clean and spacious. Amazing restaurant and included breakfast.

Property was not in a popular area, along way from the main town of Budapest.

Only stayed there for one night - too short to make a good opinion, however everything was very nice during our stay.

The rooms are HUGE (the living with kitchen alone must be 65 sq meters, plus the rest - bedroom, hallway, bath) - feels like a very large suite. It's in a gated residential complex but the neighboring buildings outside the complex look abandoned. The PSA is excellent and the restaurant at 11-th floor has good food (excellent breakfast) and great views.

Andrei at the front desk was amazingly attentive. He was courteous and friendly @ all times. The internet was very slow and difficult to connect to as my room did not have a connection. When I asked for assistance the woman at the desk (dark hair and glasses) was useless when I asked for assistance. She merely stated, " connect to someone else's room". I explained that I tried she then said it was my fault When I cut myself on a glass the spa stated they could only give me 1 band aid as they needed them for other guests. The restaurant was very good - especially the cheesecake - Please add more Romanian dishes to the menu. Once again Andrei made the stay a wonderful experience,

Great service and comfy!

Nice hotel for larger family. Our family of 4 was very comfortable in a two-bedroom apartment. Pool and spa services are wonderful- kids LOVE the pool. Great buffet breakfast. Area immediately surrounding hotel is a little sketchy. We very very happy with our stay.

Had all the facilities you need for a good stay. Great city view from our balcony. Shopping centre nearby has everything you need, though we always ended up walking the long way round as could not find a cut through! Staff very accommodating of our 10 year old son. Pool was lovely, did not try spa but looked great. Breakfast was a nice touch as well.

I found the hotel very comfortable but the best thing about the hotel is the staff. The reception staff especially are superb at making you feel welcomed and a valued customer. Its very much home from home. The spa is great and the pool and jacuzzi temperature were perfect. Breakfasts are excellent with a good choice of fresh meat and fish. Biggest problem you will face there is if you are dieting as everything is too tasty. Although you could counter this with the superb gym on site.

had nice amenities and staff. Did not like that bottled water was provided for the first day but not each day after. Also water station at Gym was emptied and never refilled

Need improvement

Need to improve on room service . The pillows n sheets were stinky.

The poo/gym/staff were very nice. The apartment is very big but not very clean. The leather(plastic?) couch was literally falling apart, with big and small chunks everywhere that were a chocking hazard for our 8month old. The Solution was to place a bed sheet over the couch…. The location is not really close to anything either so you’ll need a car. For the price we paid you would be FAR better to stay somewhere else.

Fancy but needed a little love…

Huge place with secure parking. Nice shower but needed some work. AC also not never good in hallway leading to the bedrooms. Didn’t do the spa for 10€ per day but looked nice

Unexpectedly nice! I was in town with a business trip and almost all my meetings were in the area of this property so I decided to try it out. The location is not the most advantageous or beautiful but I guess that is not very important. The property seems to be a well renovated old building (I might be wrong) however it is nice. One thing I can not NOT observe in Romania. Accessibility for people with disabilities. Inexistent. A ramp (properly built) would be so useful for wheelchairs but also luggages as you are forced to pick up your luggage on the stairs. I would expect this from a 4 stars. The staff was friendly every time, on every shift. I couldn't see them smile due to mask but I bet they did, sometimes. The amenities were closed due to covid. I would have used them otherwise. The looked very nice and attractive. The room. Here is the big surprise. It must have been one of the most spacious apartments / hotel rooms I have ever been into. Absolutely amazing. It made me feel so comfortable and at home. Fully equipped, all the details taken care of, bed extra clean and comfortable. I loved it. Food, (breakfast) - delicious and carefully selected variety of items. Staff in the restaurant very polite. Parking - free and convenient. Conclusion - whenever in Bucharest Orhideea will be my main choice of hotels. do not hesitate you will not go wrong with booking a room here.

The 7th Floor extra large suite was phenomenal!!! Very clean and modern updates with tons of room. It was a two bedroom suite with two balconies and a giant living room. The pool, spa, and fitness center are outstanding.

We checked into the Orhideea Spa. Check in was excellent. The staff are excellent and professional with a goid command of English. The apartments are large, clean and stocked with all amenities . An excellent home away from home. The spa and gym facilities are excellent. Breakfast had a variety of choice something for everyone. We dined at the Orhideea Sky and it was a pleasant experience. Before arriving in Bucharest we heard lot of stories about the Romanian. We were a group of 12 black people and the staff and people of Romania went over and above to make our time and experience a pleasant and happy one. We will definitely be back and would recommend the orhideea Spa and Residence We travelled via uber everyone was shocked how cheap the rides were.

Orhideea is a nice place, the Spa offers almost anything you think of, but the hotel/residence side of it is dated and in need of some updating. The curtains in the bedrooms are falling of the rods, the railing in the hallway (near elevators and staircase) is flimsy and dangerous, and there is no deadbolt/security lock on the room’s door.

During my first visit to Romania from New York City, I stayed here. The room was very spacious. I enjoyed the size and outdoor balcony. The premise was clean with friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again!

For the 5th consecutive year, i decided to book myslef an appartment at Orhideea Residence which i always considered more of a home and less of a hotel. Ovet the last couple of visits, it was obvious that this hotel is becoming very commercial with clients that are rather disturbing and not up to the standard of such a family oriented residence. During my last stay, a group or guys were staying just above my appartment, making terrible noises, screaming in the halls after midnight and singing out loud at the balcony without any obvious restriction or action from the hoteo staff. The rooms are also deteriorating and need some real maintenance. I was given a room that was in a very bad shape when i checked in and after complaining and insisting, another room was offered. This used to be our favorit place to stay in Bucharest but not anymore and won't consider it ever again.

The rooms are large - lots of extra space. The Spa is incredible.

Liked: - the size of the rooms is remarkable - the location, perfect for us - excellent breakfast - clean, comfortable beds Disliked: - no ramp to facilitate caring heavy luggage on the stairs - no amenities for people with physical disabilities; no ramps, no hand rails to make climbing stairs easier; even though elevators exist they stop one floor below the restaurant. To access the restaurant one must climb a good flight of stairs, with no hand rail.

It's not a hotel, it's an apartment tower, the service is bad. We arrived and the room was not ready. We got the room for 5 pm. And even though we asked for an early check in. The room was out of order The shutters did not work, and then called on the workers who worked for another hour and repaired the malfunction while we were getting ready for dinner. The service people are not very kind, and even when contacted, they honestly note that the price does not include one or the other service. They ask for an extra on everything. The only thing good about this place is the breakfast, but for the price we paid we could have an excellent breakfast and still it was cheaper than this hotel. Recommend to anyone looking for a hotel to make sure it is a hotel first !!! And not an apartment tower, and that the accompanying services are free and do not cost extra. I will never go back to this hotel and also recommend to my friends to stay away from this place, there are much better places and cheaper prices.

Lovely hotel and helpful staff. Loved the pool and Jacuzzi. reception very helpful and rooms lovely. Just wished sofa bed was a proper bed as there was plenty of room for one. Best air con ever.

Loved the fact the air conditioning was so effective and there was space and comfort in rooms. Big TV! Level 11 lovely to sit have a meal or drink in restaurant/bar.

Very good value for the money, and clean / comfortable / safe Kudos to the breakfast buffet!

Located in walking distance from the train station which was convenient for us. The hotel’s Wifi was setup weird as you had access on different networks depending on the location (your room, the lobby, restaurant etc). Our room was clean and very spacious and the included breakfast was amazing but what would have been a great addition was complimentary coffee or hot chocolate during the night (We could not sleep all night due to jet lag). Overall, I recommend this hotel.

We had an upgrade & the unit was big. Lovely views off the balcony. Loved the dump shower.

It is a little out of town, but the overall standard of accommodation is of a high standard

The hotel was good the staff not speaking english very well. They are not changing towels every day or reloading missing ones. The do not adding coffee or tea while stayin. Even when you asks they refuse although at the end they brought us few

Business trip

The venue is well kitted put the Spa treatments are in high demand sobbook early I never got to experience them but the rooms were big and plenty of facilities, big bath etc the surrounding area was average but views from restaurant nice at the top floor. Staff were lovely and polite.

The rooms are massive! Place is very clean and food at the restaurant is great. Very friendly staff. I wish I could stay longer to experience all the facilities. Definitely come back!
