Loved the area. So beautiful. Philip was a wonderful host. Breakfast served at the room was an added bonus!
Old Ivy Walk was a fantastic place to stay! The room was so nice and updated nicely. Phil was a great host and made us a wonderful breakfast. Plus , it’s just a block off the main drag which made it so convenient.
This is a lovely, quiet location with excellent accommodations. Phil attends to every detail, and the attention and care for all areas is evident -- from the elegant breakfasts each day to the resources for local interests to the genuine interest in the guests. I would highly recommend!
Close to heart of theatre scene. Quiet, walkable lots of dining choices. People friendly.
Excellent location and host
Excellent experience, wonderful location. Beautiful!
Friendly and accommodating.
Nothing fancy but very clean. I don’t know why but water smelled bad. Even I smelled when I was taking a shower.
The property and facilities were beautiful, and the host was extremely gracious.
Highly recommend. Property is so conveniently located. Lovely bedroom. Washroom was nice and big with lots of counter and shelving space. Lovely garden. Parking. Host is kind and accommodating.
This is a lovely B&B with a very accommodating and sociable host. The breakfasts were delicious. It is very convenient and walkable to shopping, dining and theaterr. I highly recommend it.
Philip was delightful and the amenities were wonderful. A little humid in the room though.
Exceeded our Expectations
The host, Phil, is very customer-driven, friendly & helpful. The room was spacious , comfortable & filled with all the amenities we needed. A bountiful, scrumptious Breakfast was homemade & hand delivered each morning to our room. The property was in a perfect location for enjoying NOTL & area sight-seeing or just relaxing in the BnB patio gardens. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BOOK!
Lovely spot. Philip is an excellent, attentive host. Breakfasts were delicious. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and nicely decorated. Highly recommend!
Great location. Comfortable rooms. Waffles in the morning were best we have ever had. Philip, our host, was kind and helpful. 10 stars!
We liked that it was so close to downtown, just a few short blocks. It is a very walkable area, and Niagra on the Lake has some truly unique shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast, which we ate in our room, was very tasty. Food allergy issues (lactose free and gluten free) were willingly accommodated!
Perfect B&B for Niagara. proprietor very knowledgeable and breakfast excellent.
Our room was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was clean, had a comfortable bed and its own bathroom. It was close to the down town area and a quick walk to great restaurants and coffee shops. The owner, Phil, was very kind and helpful. He also made some amazing waffles:)
We had a lovely stay at Old Ivy Walk, right in the middle of town. Nice big room, comfortable bed, hot water, delicious breakfast. Philip is very kind. Would recommend and stay again!
Perfect location, one block from Queen street. Nice size room and bathroom with large soaking tub. Yummy breakfast delivered to our door. Lovely home. Only drawback might be the small shower if you are above average size. It was fine for us but just a note for anyone staying in that particular room (upstairs on right). All in all a lovely stay.
A1
The property was very clean. The breakfast was excellent. The off street parking and convenience to all the attractions was great. We enjoyed our stay.
Very nice place to stay, beautiful place and excellent location. We will definitely be back
We had a lovely stay at the Old Ivy Walk in Niagara on the Lake. The owners were extremely hospitable and helpful as we tried to navigate the town.
Very charming! Food was great and thoughtful
We greatly enjoyed our stay. Outstanding location: one block from the town center and one block from the lake park. Very easy walk to the Shaw Theater and the stores. Our room was clean and very up-to-date. Comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet location. A nice breakfast was brought to the room in a picnic style basket. Phillip, the owner, was most attentive and affable. We would definitely stay again at the Old Ivy Walk.
It was an absolutely beautiful property with great natural light, close to shopping and the water. Our hosts were very accommodating with everything. We would definitely stay here again.
A nice place in a nice town
Lovely room, 2 minute walk to Queen Street. The owner, Philip was very friendly and helpful
Nice host. Charming house and grounds.
Our host, Philip, was wonderful. The room was lovely and the breakfast was divine!!
Great place. Nothing but good to say about it. Just what we needed.
The host is extremely welcoming, friendly and a wonderful resource of knowledge for the area. He is also quite the breakfast cook!
My mother and I spent a night at this beautiful Inn and absolutely look forward to returning again in the near future. The room was spacious with an incredible soaking tub that was enjoyed after a day of sight seeing and a show. Philip was a gracious host that made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was not only nourishing but pleased our palette beyond expectation. The location could not have been better; easy walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and theaters. - Heidi and Marilyn
This was a charming property with an excellent host. Breakfast was creative and delicious. Please be aware there is no common area in the building, but my room was well appointed with a sitting area.
Owner's attitude, cleaning, style, friendly ways to approach the guests.
Did not expect breakfast to go!
Beautiful place on a very pretty street. Walkable to the business district (2 blocks) where we enjoyed shopping, eating, and drinking! Philip, the host, was very friendly and gracious. Breakfast was delicious! No common room which would be nice to relax but the room was wonderful. Would definitely stay again!
Convenient
This is a lovely historical setting very convenient to the main street with shops and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent and the room comfortable.
This property is lovely. The breakfast hampers are a lovely way to receive your breakfast and everything was very good and well thought out in the hamper. The free on-site parking is a great bonus and location is fantastic. Unfortunately for me it was too loud, as we were by tge front door and people are asked to remove outdoor shoes it means people stand there and char at full volumn which was annoying as doors arent sound proof, also the noise when the hampers were being divered was the same. Also because its a keyless entry everytime the door opens and locks it is loud!!! The bathroom was lovely but the toilet was seperate and felt like it was in the bedroom which i found not too appealing. All in all, great location, lovely property and hampers and free parking great. But if you want peace and quiet you wont get that at least not in the Lady Richards room.
If we weren't staying during these strange times
Excellent stay, very comfortable room, breakfast was excellent!!
The best B&B I've ever stayed in.
My mom and I had a wonderful 2-night stay in the Sir William room. It was spacious, bright and inviting and super comfortable for sleep, Phillip made us feel at home with his warmth and friendliness. He's an exceptional host with a talent for making delicious breakfasts with care and centring guest experience. He took time out of his day to visit with me and teach me about the history of his home and neighbourhood and greeted us whenever he had the chance. I hope to come back again to experience Niagara-on-the-Lake and stay in this beautiful home. I hope that everyone gets to spend a little time in the backyard as I did reading a book while the rabbits and squirrels played and ran around me. It was almost magical.
Very nice facility and owner
This property was very close to the Vineyards by bike and a very short walking distance to the little downtown strip. But most importantly, our room felt like home.
A Lovely Get-away
The accommodations were excellent and spotless. Our host, Phillip, had the most helpful recommendations and was very knowledgeable of the area. The location was very convenient for access to the main street of Niagara On The Lake. We will stay here again without question.
We’ve enjoyed an excellent 2-night stay at this property. Excellent location, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to downtown. Tasty breakfast, very clean room, comfortable bed, excellent shower room, nothing to complain about. Philip was very welcoming and offered us great recommendations. Highly recommend this place! And we would love to go back soon!
Great experience
Very personal service and relaxed owner/manager. We felt at home and the grounds were well kept and comfortable. Very close to all the reasons to be in Niagara on the Lake!

Old Ivy Walk is the perfect place to stay while visiting NOTL. We were able to park our car at the house and walk everywhere. Our host, Phil was a pleasure to get to know. Even before we met he gave recommendations on where to eat, when to buy show tickets, etc. A delicious breakfast was waiting for us each morning. The house is beautifully maintained and very comfortable. We are looking forward to visiting again this summer.
