They spoke English at the established so it was easy checking in.

Easiest hostel to find by the station. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Not a good place

It was a decent Hostel. Only real problem was the air conditioning. The bunk beds are made out of wood so it’s like a sauna in your cubby especially if you’re right under the heater.

Lit with a gym

チェックイン対応をしてくれたスタッフの方は感じが良く、次移動待ちの滞在でしかありませんでしたが快適に利用出来ました。就寝場所も、イビキが賑やかな東欧に辟易していた身には静かで有り難かったです。 時間が遅かったので叶いませんでしたが、カフェメニューも楽しみたかったです。

It was close to the train and lots of food. The gym had a good amount of equipment but wa la too small, would be stumbling through a crowd in a hallway during busy hours. Massive bedbug infestation. Never been bitten so many times by any bug, I hoped that fresh sheets would help but it did not. 30 bites, would not recommend

The gym was definetely a big reason why I chose to stay at the Obi Hostel. I really appreciated being able to have some way to do some strength training whilst on Holidays.

Good location. Well run hostel

Good location next to multiple metro lines. I’ve been in dozens hostels, so have seen my fair share of what works and what doesn’t. Obi does most things correct. The one downside is that they do not have a kitchen / place to bring your own food to eat since they are also a cafe. So if you are the type to cook and eat at a hostel this is probably not for you. But they are across the street from a grocery store. -provides free towels, lockers include lock. -bathrooms not ensuite so prevents the stuffiness prevalent in a lot of other hostels. -showers and toilets are separate and individual. -showers include changing area. -beds offer great privacy with curtains and have a good amount of space relative to the number of guests per room. -washer/dryer on premise. -front desk is not 24/7, but are there for most of time. Staff are helpful.

The location was very good with the subway station located at just two minutes away, with a direct connection to the airports and downtown Tokyo. The hostel is very new and clean and has a great vibe with friendly staff. The room had very little space though to store bigger bags and suitcases. This would be my only remark. Other than that, I loved it and would stay again!

The staff was super friendly, had a goodnight's sleep. Hostel is walking distance to Akihabara station. Facilities clean and easy to use. Food was good. And a friendly atmosphere in the lobby. Overall great experience. 10/10 would go there again

Comparing with other backpacker hostel in Tokyo, their cleanses is not satisfying, with dust all over the bed, the poor ventilation of the toilet make the smell so strong throughout the whole door. Although the hostel has just been opened for 2 years, their facilities seems worked over a decade, nobody fix the broken shelf at the shower room, and take ages to have hot water. And most importantly, the security is unexpectedly low, you could just come in the hostel without any proof of residence, and go straight to the luggage storage to pick up whatever luggage at there.

It was very close to the metro station, and my bed was spacious, clean, and comfy. The bathroom and shower area was clean and bright too. The lounge was nice to work in, and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Great stay

Cozy bed, convenient capsules, lockers, and really friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay. It’s just half a block from the nearest train station but in a quieter neighborhood just two stops from Tokyo station on both the subway and JR line.

Great place for a great price!

We had a pretty great time at Obi Hostel! The hostel itself is very central, with only a 15 minute walk from central Akihabara. The other guests in the dorm were always very quiet and respectful, and the beds and general area was always kept clean by the staff. It's not very "home-y" hostel, so to speak, as the lounge is also a café/restaurant. The guest kitchen was also way too small for more than one person to use at a time, so you there wasn't really a great way to interact with other guests. Otherwise I would definitly recommene Obi Hostel!

Fortunately the bed was ok, though it was noisy. The showers was also ok. They give you clean towels daily, so that was the best. The worst of all was the kitchen. It was ridiculously small, it couldn't fit more than 2 people. The real problem is that the only common area is the lounge in the first floor that is used as a cafe/bar, so you are not priority there, as long as you are not drinking there. So if you're not a customer of the bar you don't feel welcomed. At least the music was good.

good location , generally clean. the staff are very helpful and polite. The common kitchen is petit so eating out would be a better option.

near train station

Hostel was super near to a train station, so it was convenient coming from Haneda airport, and if you're going to Tokyo station. Cafe closes at 11pm.

not bad..

This hostel is a little out the way from everything but does have great access to the tube. I picked it to get an easy route to the airport. It’s clean and the staff are mostly very friendly and helpful. The beds however were so uncomfortable and creaky. The guy above me I could hear clearly breathing.

One of the best hostels we've ever stayed in! Memory foam pillows, spotless bathrooms, great breakfast and bar/common area.

No choices, that’s why i booked this hostel!

The worst guests, they are laughing and talking loudly in the dormitory and there are two guests acting like hosts, they left their clothes in the dry machine for more than 3 hours and the timing system of the dry machine is only 30mins, going around eating out what’s this??

Nice basic hostel. Looks like a recent surface level renovation. Bathroom good, common area and bar downstairs are comfortable. Check in and out simple and painless but otherwise I had no interaction with staff. Nice international crowd when I was there. Held bag all day for me after checkout which was great.

Great Hostel, Amazing Staff!

Obi Hostel is conveniently located near Bakurocho JR Station. It's new. The lobby has café, open to the public. Once you enter you can feel at ease, because it has a calm mood, even when there is a lot of people. The check in is quick and you head to your room, taking the elevator to the upper floors. I found the bunk beds spacious and comfortable enough. You can include breakfast for ¥500, which is a life saver if you don't know how to start your day. Showers are nice and efficient (complimentary shampoo in each one of them, if you forget yours, which is another life saver). The hostel has a dinning room in the second floor, which I didn't visit this time (but I will in my next stay), where you can get your meals. The hostel is clean all the time. In general, all the facilities of the hostel are really good. Regarding the staff... Wow, I have to take may hat off: I was a little disoriented which a specific Simcard problem that I bought at the airport, but as soon as I checked in, Yuutaro, the clerk at the moment, offered me his help, with a smile. Next morning, Yuutaro was still helping me, along with Yo-yo (another staff member) which help me to get a refund. Next, I got to meet Shogo and Narumi, staff that was able to speak Spanish with me, and that blew me away! Today, when I checked out, I was able to ask for some advice from Azuza and Tomo, and they were very nice to me too. Overall, everybody went beyond their duty, which made my stay very very comfortable.

Quick transit stay, cheap and convenient location

Arrived in the evening and left in the morning as I was just passing through Tokyo en route to Hokkaido. I stayed on the second floor which was convenient as the female showers were on the same floor, however if you are staying on a different floor this might be inconvenient. The kitchen is very small, which didn't bother me as I didn't use it but if you're planning on cooking to save money this is something to bear in mind. There is a really nice common area on the ground floor, it is a café during the day but you can eat your own food there too which most people were doing at night. There's a convenience store literally next to the hostel which is 24 hours. Very convenient to Tokyo station, just 2 stops and covered by the JR pass if you have one. There is an entrance/exit with a lift (elevator), however it is quite a walk from exiting the ticket gates. If you have heavy luggage like I did it's something to note. The lift was out of service the morning I left so I took a taxi to Tokyo station, which was about 1300yen. There are places to eat nearby which were still open when I was wandering around at about midnight. Overall very good value for money, clean and convenient location.

Nice people, clean place, good sleep

I really enjoyed staying at Obi Hostel. The place is brand new, so everything is in perfect condition. Yet the staff have really got the system down, and they keep it really clean and nice. Most of the staff are bilingual so the language barrier was not a problem at all. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful, all round cool people. The breakfast was good and very affordable, perfect if you're in a hurry early in the morning, and the bar/cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you don't feel like going out. The shared rooms/bunks are simple but private, with outlets, a USB charger and lights. The internet was fast and reliable, in the rooms/bunks and in the lounge. The place is easy to find, it's right next to Family Mart and a supermarket around the corner, tons of restaurants nearby, close to several train stations, and there's affordable clothing/souvenir shops just down the road a bit towards the train tracks. I would recommend and I'd come back again.

上のベッドの人が動くとミシミシ音がして五月蠅かったです。

問屋街、下町の雰囲気と都会の空気を楽しめる宿

初めての馬喰町泊。問屋街で一般人お断りの服屋さんや一般人も入れる梱包屋さんなど、興味深いお店が立ち並ぶ町。近所には美味しいパン屋のビーバーブレッドや平日食べ放で人気のサンドッグイン神戸屋、韓国屋台風サムギョプサル店に両面焼きそばのあぺたいと、JACK 57 BURGERといった各種飲食店、もちろん最寄りにはスギドラやセブン、松屋吉野家等ベタチェーンもあってどのタイプも困らない。長期滞在者向けにミニキッチンやランドリーもあるが足を伸ばせる浴槽は無い。シャワーブースは1箇所鍵が掛かっていて開かずの扉、でも他に3ブースあるのでかぶる事なし。スタッフも和気藹々としている様子が雑談姿からよくわかる。タオルも大きいものを貸してくれる。この付近はほかにも、イロリやグリッズなど低価格の綺麗目ホステルが乱立しているので、浅草程では無いけど競争率も高そう。江戸バスを使いこなして町散策に励んで欲しい。

・値段を考えるとかなりオススメ。ワンフロアの宿泊可能人数が多くないので、割と静か。ベッドも軋みにくく、あまり音がしない。 ・ロッカーもそれなりに大きい。機内持ち込み可能サイズなら十分入る。 ただ、ロッカールームがかなり暗く、夜はスマホなどで照らさないと利用できない。 ・コンセントも２口＋USB１口。 ・ミニキッチンは本当にミニだが、必要なものは揃っている。簡単な料理は十分可能。調味料も誰かが残していってくれたものがそこそこあり。 ・Wi-Fiも問題なし ・スリッパは有料(50円)。すぐボロボロになりそうな薄いスリッパ。何日か滞在するなら持ってきたほうが良い。

ソウル駅から近くてとにかく安いです。 道路は汚いですが治安が悪いとかはないと思います。 オンドルがあって温かいです。 おすすめです。

초저가에 캡슐형 숙소중엔 손에 꼽히는 선택.

아주 예민하신 분만 아니라면 저가형 숙소로는 충분한 만족을 주는 곳이다. 철제 침대에 합판을 짜 넣으 듯한 구조라 엉성해 보이지만 덕분에 공간은 의외로 낙낙하다. 티비가 없어서 그런 걸지도. 전기콘센트외에도 usb충전포트가 있다. 소음이 없지는 않지만 타 숙소의 경우와 비교해 나쁘지 않은 정도이고, 귀마개도 기본 제공해준다. 화장실이나 샤워실도 깨끗. 머리카락이 좀 떨어져 있긴 한데, 개인적 의견으론 공용인데 이정도는 허용범위다. 샤워실은 셋인가 넷이 있는데 나는 새벽이라 여유가 있었지만 혼잡할 시간에는 기다려야 할 지도 모른다. 타올제공해주고, 세면용품은 유료다. 국내숙소도 얼마전부터 그러던데 정책이 바뀐 건지는 미지수, 그렇다면 제대로 표기해 주었으면 하기는 하다. 호텔스닷컴지도 표기에 문제가 있어서 장소를 찾기가 힘들다. 구글맵으로는 제대로 나오니 이쪽을 보자.

This is my third time in Obi Hostel, and glad to say that everything is as the first time. Clean rooms and installations, relaxed atmosphere, great location, but all this wouldn't work without the amazing staff of Obi Hostel. All of them made me feel like I was at friend's home,specially Misaki-San, Eri-San, Shiho-San, Miku-San, Masaya-San, and Yuutaro-San. All of them, with great english skills, offer a great service, worthy of a 5 star Hotel.

きれいで使いやすかったです。 ベッドルームのドアが開けっぱなしになっていることが多かったので、 閉める旨注意書きした方がいいと思います。 成田空港へのアクセスも良好。 １Fのカフェバーのごはんがとても美味しかった！

評判の割には

チェックイン時に他の従業員同士がタメ口で大声出しておしゃべり。アットホームでも演出したいのか？ 何か勘違いしてるのでは？ 朝起きたらホコリが凄い舞っている。 朝になるまで気づかなかったが、あまりにもホコリが舞っていたのですぐにチェックアウトした。 あとは問題なしでした。

盲点

話題のホステルを体験するために宿泊。女性専用フロアを選択し、安心と思っておりましたが、女性同士のカップルがいる。ということに気づきませんでした。夜中なのにスタッフの方が迅速に対処してくれましたが、その後も二人の愛の時間（？）は続きました。2回ほど来ていただいたので、申し訳なくて、その後はフロントに連絡もしませんでした。 おかげで、寝不足です。 その件が次のスタッフへ伝達されておらず残念でした。 室内や寝具などは清潔でしたが、宿泊客のルール無視が目につきました。海外の方で文化が違うのはわかりますが、ルールは守ってほしいと思いました。 安くてきれいだし、駅も近く、スタッフの対応も良かっただけにとても残念です。

快適ドミトリー

2階の女性専用ドミトリーのお部屋だったので、シャワー、トイレ、キッチンが同じ階にありとても便利だった。ドミトリーベッドは2階で、手作りの為かベッドで少し動くだけでギシギシときしむ為、下の方に気を遣ったが、耳栓が用意してあるのはその為だとわかった。アメニティーは別料金の為、スリッパを50円で購入したが、シャワーや洗面にはクレンジング、洗顔、化粧水、ボディーソープ、シャンプー、トリートメントが常備しており、バスタオル1枚は無料で借りられる為、快適に過ごせた。

ゆっくり寝れました。 物音は結構響きました。

安い！駅近！

とにかく安く、東京駅にも近いので何度か使わせていただいています。 施設は綺麗で基本諸々そろっているので、不満は全くありません。 また、外から見える共有スペースも居心地がいいです。 ちなみに今回は、チェックアウト後に１階のカフェ？でランチをいただきました。 あの方はオーナーか、スタッフか、立場がわかりませんでしたが。 すごく親しみやすい男性の方がいらっしゃって、楽しくコミュニケーションをとることができました。 また、おすすめのタイ風？のチキンのやつ、めちゃくちゃおいしかったです。 東京駅まで徒歩でも30分くらいなので、かなり早い時間に成田に行きたい時にも助かります。

女性専用ドミトリーに泊りました。 番号キー付きの中型ロッカーあり、 (鍵を失くす心配が無いからとても良い) ラウンジ広々24h開放、 キッチンアリ、 冷蔵庫使用可、 シャワー室内DHCのシャンプーコンディショナーボディーソープ、 洗面台にはクレンジングもアリ、 ふとん清潔でふかふか、 室内ライト十分に明るい、 客の質が良い(わたしが泊まった日は日本人ばかりだったっぽい) 隣にローソンがある。 都営の駅すぐそこ。 女性専用ドミトリーは、キッチン部屋と同階でとても便利でした。 ロッカー前のスペースにみんなカートを置きっぱでしたが、客の質が良いのか荒らされる事もなく大丈夫でした。 ただ、壁が薄いので隣や下の人に気を使います。 でもこれはどこのドミトリーでも同じですね。 空調も快適だし、 チェックアウトも遅めの11:00でした。 チェックアウトの際の女性のスタッフがとても感じが良くて後味良くホステルを後にする事が出来ました。 残念な点は、 タオルが生乾き臭かった、 シャワー室の扉の内側がホコリだらけ。 ドミトリー入り口のドアが施錠されず開けっ放し (みんな意図的に閉めてないかんじだった。治安良かったから気にならなかったけど。) それくらいです。 また泊りたいです。 朝食も美味しそうだなぁ

L'hôtel se trouve dans un bon emplacement pour visiter divers endroits. La cuisine est assez étroite si vous souhaitez cuisiner et le frigidaire est petit ( il devrait aussi faire plus souvent une vérification). La sécheuse fonctionne plus ou moins bien.

もう、泊まりません。

女性フロアーを2泊予約していたのですが、最初の日は泊まれませんでした。留守番電話に2日目は泊まることを入れておいたのに、ホテルに着いて、ベッドを指示されて、朝起きたら共同フロアーでした。 半裸の外人の男性がウロウロしていて、少し怖い気がしました。朝、フロントに抗議しましたが、「1泊目が来なかったので、確認不足ですみません」とわけのわからない言い訳でした。何のために女性フロアーを予約しているのか、共同フロアーに泊まるなら、オビホテルでなくても良かったのに。

寝るだけなら問題ありません。

低価格で安心して泊まれるホステルです。

ほとんど寝るだけだったので、最低限の寝る場所やシャワールームが綺麗にされて、値段的にもとても満足です。スタッフも気さくで優しい印象です。 ただ、チェックイン前に荷物を預けようとしたのですが、個別ロッカーや受付横とかではなく、人がいないフロアに棚があり、そこに置く感じでした。自転車用のワイヤーキーはもらえるのですが、私はリュックだったので意味がなく、結局預けませんでした。鍵付きのキャリーなどでしたら問題ないかと思います。

また利用します。

ロッカールームの照明が見当たらず・・・真っ暗なので困った。 ここは改善してほしい。 ラウンジが２４時間使えるので便利！

キッチンがあり鍋や皿なども使えます。 冷蔵庫も使えました。 次回はラーメンとか作って食べたい。 ベッドは狭く感じたけど値段なりかなぁ。 安く旅行したい人にはオススメです。
