Lovely stay, great service, views, and food

The resort is beautiful and the views from the rooms and pool area are stunning. The service is top notch and the breakfast + drinks were delicious. The beachfront is more aesthetic as it's very rocky, so not the type of beach you can swim in or enter. That being said, it was very cheap and easy to get transport to the other beaches around the island.

Place was great, staff ,food all very good. If you don't have a car it's far from ferry. The only problem was if you are a light sleeper there's a bar nearby that plays loud music from 1 am to 5 am.

We love this place and the people who work there. When we came back they gave us an upgrade, so nice!

WE LOVE THIS OCEAN SIDE RESORT

We stayed here for one night at the seaside villa with the pool and it was a great view -- especially around sunset time! The villa itself is beautifully decorated and it felt like a vacation from our vacation. Our issue, however, was the cleanliness of the bed and the way the staff handled our concerns. Upon finally winding down and undoing the perfectly set bedsheets, we discovered stains all over the bedsheets which looked like someone had defecated on the bed (horrible). It was unfortunately well past the time the front desk operates when we found out about the bedsheets, and so the only thing we could do was turn the bedsheets inside out and go to sleep. The next morning upon our checking out from the hotel, we showed them pictures and videos of the bed stains and the staff immediately told us that they had checked the room before they gave us the key and there in no way or shape any stains or issues with the room. When we explained that we didn't even use the bed until later that night as we were out by the pool and for the rest of the evening outside the resort in town, they said why didn't we call them at night if there was an issue with the bedsheets. We told them we did and we did try to go to the front desk and it was closed. They then questioned how come we didn't call the emergency number on the front desk, which we didn't know about or see on the front desk. Staff said nothing can be done at this point and didn't even attempt to apologize.

Peaceful , great service , clean beach , good food .

Amazing resort! So clean and well kept! Staff was amazing! Free breakfast was great but after 8 days we wish there were a few more options! Our villa with the private pool was heaven and the views from all over the property are amazing. The bed was hard for our liking but it didn’t spoil our trip! Options for a softer topper would have been perfect! Loved how we were walking distance to everything on lonely beach.

Lovely resort near lonely beach.

resort is beautiful, slightly out of the way. Secluded just past lonely beach. Walkway access to a mostly rock and mud beach leading to a small spit of white sand at low tide. Gorgeous pool for those less intrepid. Breakfast is made to order, lunch ～ dinner restaurant until 9:30pm. Decent little enclave just above hotel. Motorbike for the daring as dark and hilly roads to the main tourist areas or a TH150 PP ride each way. Very enjoyable R/R over Song Klang.

Paradise.

OMG, we loved it and can't wait to go back.

The resort is on a quiet spot on a slope at the Southern limit of Lonely Beach. You will not hear any of the partying/bar scene noise from there. If you do not have a vehicle be prepared for a short climb to walk to the main road. The setting is very beautiful (the breakfast/dining/pool area) and the food is tasty (breakfast is huge). Amenities in the rooms are great, but I did have issues with the water temperature in the shower. It would never stay at a comfortable temperature for more than a few seconds at a time.

Quite paradise

Nest sense was fantastic place to stay. The villa with private splash pool and sea view was fabulous. Staff were super friendly and attentive, breakfast both Asian and western dishes were very good. Cocktails were delicious as was the food available. The local area was quiet but there were some other places including one gem, cafe de sunshine for Thai and western dishes. Note the hotel only served drinks and food during specific hours in the day. Ideal for couple get away.

Genuine luxury

Amazing place to stay. We stayed in the beach side villas- the seashore being at the bottom of the garden. Service was great, hotel food quite expensive but shops outside only a five minute walk from Hotel. Very quiet location, at night you can just about hear some dance music but it is very faint. We also stayed in the pool villa for a few nights but I think the seaside villa was nicer as you had the sea at the bottom of your villa. The sea is very rocky so although possible to swim it’s quite a task. Overall an amazing place to stay, the only negative thing I can say is the breakfast wasn’t great , cheap fruit juice, weird tasting butter. If that’s all I can come up with maybe it’s an indication of how much we enjoyed our stay.

My partner and I had a truly wonderful stay here at Nest Sense. We had originally booked the suite for 3 nights and managed to extend our stay an extra night as it was just too hard to leave. The staff were helpful, welcoming and friendly. The location and setting were perfect. It's just past the south end of Lonely beach, one of the best beaches on the island. The beach it self has plenty of stores, restaurants and bars but Nest Sense is just far enough away for the noise not to bother you whilst also being close enough for you to walk there. The room (we had a private pool room) was perfectly private and had amazing views of the sea. The only thing I'd had changed is for the sliding doors to have a mozzy screen on so we could sleep with the doors open to enjoy the cool sea breeze and the sound of the waves. Highly recommend.

GREAT HOTEL. HIDDEN GEM

This hotel deserves 5 stars it was a private bungalow we stayed in with modern furnishings. The staff really wanted to make sure we had the best time. Breakfast was part of stay. They even did something for NEW YEARS EVE. Great entertainment and food. They did everything to accommodate everything we wanted with the tours on the island. From the restaurant to the front desk staff to housekeeping. I would stay here again and again.

Ideally located. 5 mins from shops and bars. 10 mins walk from lonely beach. Situated in fantaatic setting. Share the area with monkeys. They like to play on the roof of the villas at night time!

Koh Chang - Nest Sense

Exclusive boutique villa room facing the sea. Wake up each morning to the rhythm of sea waves lapping onto the beach. Breakfast are served cook-to-order as chosen. Walk around for some limited eateries, shops, etc... or hire a tuk tuk taxi to get around the island for more beachfront, waterfalls, & other major eateries & shops... There are many tourists that rent a scooter (not advisable if one is not a experienced rider as route can get rather steep & winding...). Stay at Nest Sense if you prefer holiday, retreat, relax-&-chill or for family bonding time. For love birds, honeymooners - this may a recommended hotel too. Enjoy sea views, waves, relax by the beach . . .

Lovely clean and well positioned resort hotel.

A very nice place to stay for exploring lonely beach and indeed the west side of Kho Chang Island. Close to the fisherman’s village where all the boat trips depart (10 mins taxi) and from the main resort White Sand Beach (25 mins taxi). The hotel staff were attentive and helpful. There is a small stinky beach in front of the hotel but this is not really suitable for swimming. Lonely beach itself is about 20 minutes walk down through the town. The resort of Loney Beach itself is mainly home to backpacker tourists and those wanting tattoos and budget accommodation. White Sand Beach is better if you have younger kids. I would highly recommend Nest Sense resort as probably the nicest place to stay in Lonely Beach if you chose to visit.

Peaceful, excellent hotel, villa with pool outstanding, tried to book another week to stay on but unfortunately it was not available.... Very sad to leave .......

Very nice resort. Quiet and clean. Staff very good and attentative.

What a great place to stay! Peace and tranquility with restaurants on the doorstep. Do try ‘The Magic Garden’ very reasonable and great food. The staff are so obliging especially ‘Patt’ so helpful and always a happy smile. We had our own pool with a view of the sea - simply beautiful. Would not hesitate to return to Nest Sense when we return to Koh Chang. Heartfelt thanks for a most wonderful stay.

This Place Fed my Soul and Body

I arrived here on a day where I was just starting to recover from a very bad case of traveler's stomach. I was greeted warmly and shown my "Partial Sea View" room. I knew that partial meant really not so much ocean view. It was still a very nice room at a good rate. After 3 days of recovering and mostly sleeping I moved to an ocean front villa. The heavens opened and I was in travel paradise! A wonderful stand alone unit looking directly to the sea appointed with everything I needed. Amazing quality and service. The price at a low season 4,000 Baht was incredibly affordable for the level of quality. The staff here knew I had been sick both because I explained on check in and also I never did much for a few days. The day I felt recovered and strong enough to hang out at the pool they were all big smiles, when I took a dip, they almost applauded. I could tell they were watching me like a protective hawk, I felt the love. All I can say is this is one of the best places in terms of service, food quality and accommodation quality I have ever experienced. It is tranquil, not a place for a big party. If you are looking for serenity close to the action of Lonely Beach, you have found it here.

Best place to stay!

Nest is for me the only location in Koh Chang I want to stay. If its fully booked I won't go to Koh Chang. The welcome of the warm staf. The Ambience of the whole location. The view from the room. It's just all perfect! Breakfast service till 12!!! How amazing is that!? The food at the location is very nice. Did I already tell you how sweet the staff is!? I tried all rooms and the best is ofcourse Villa with the Pool. For the best view you should take a seaside villa.

Love Nest Sense

The Nest is a nice, relaxed, and quiet resort on the edge of village of Lonely Beach. I had stayed there before at one of their beach front bungalows, which as really quite nice. This time I opted to go cheaper and stayed in one of their cheaper rooms, away from the beach. I went to Koh Chang to do some writing and finish up an on-line course I wwas taking, so I needed good solid wifi. I was not disappointed, the WIFI was stable and strong. What I was disappointed by was the desk. There rally wasn't a desk, but a low table and a backed cushion in which to sit on the ground with to work. I'm not sure where one is supposed to put their feet do sit there for any time. So I asked them to put me in a room with a proper desk and instead hey moved a nice solid teak table and nice solid chair with a thick cushion into the room establishing a solid desk and comfortable chair to work on. My only complaints with my room were the shower and the front dor. for the money they charge at the Nest their showerheads should all be exemplary, mine in room D4 was not, it was kind of lame, making my showers there lame, too. The front door was a ppoint and cause of much frustration, as the locking mechanism is either too loose or is malfunctioning. On average it took me a couple of minutes to open the door from the inside in order to leave. This could be quite dangerous if there was a fire. I know this is minor, but after four days I was ready to tear the lock apart out of frustration.

A nice place to stay , near the action but quite.

Staff friendly and helpful, had issue with aircon and it was sorted quickly. Sea View, not super but good. Breakfast a la cart and fine/good, though be careful with poached eggs,:a bit too much vinger. The one lunch I had was good.

It's one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The location of hotel is amazing in a good area. Many restaurants and shops all around . The Staffs were polite and helpful.

We had the Pool villas and it was great to relax in and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine

Nice comfortable resort

Stayed in a Deluxe room which is at the back of the resort, great value when on special rate. They only have a partial sea view and there was no furniture on the balcony (at least in low season) but there's nice areas to sit by the pool and restaurant. Rooms are comfortable but walls not very sound proof as can hear people in room next door. The villas offer more space and privacy. Lovely staff. Easy to walk into Lonely Beach village for lots of good priced restaurants. Beach a bit further away. Would stay again.

Beautiful quiet boutique hotel

The sea view villas are very quiet and private, though the sea view is somewhat blocked by trees, and there is no sand so don't expect a beach view. Still a pretty setting beside the ocean, nice for relaxing. Minimalistic style rooms, well layed out and have everything you need. Excellent service, especially in the restaurant and the breakfasts are delicious and beautifully presented. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend, especially for couples.

Staff very inattentive and just after extra money

We felt unwelcome from arrival to our early departure. We had issues with the children staying in the room with them wanting to charge nearly a daily room rate for a 6 year old. Always felt that they were looking to charge extra despite eating lunch at the hotel. Getting charged 300BHT for an egg for a child at breakfast was rediculous and made us feel completely unwelcome so checked out early.

minimalist room design, great location, nice pool

Room design is very good, clean and professional work. great pool bar, with good cocktails. sea view is very nice, but there isn't a beach strip that is available for swimming (all rocky and dirty). Hotel management could be stiff (tried to bill us on a broken glass, argue about providing extra blanket).

Relaxed stay koh Chang

A nice boutique hotel within the lonely beach area. Very quiet and relatively brand new hotel. Great breakfast and cocktails.

Lovely, modern relaxing resort

Nest Sense is a lovely hotel, set in beautiful garden. We stayed for 4 nights in a deluxe room, on the upper floor, with a nice view of the sea. The rooms are large and very light, in great condition with stylish furnishings and a modern, clean bathroom. There is a lovely pool and bar area where breakfast is served, and in the evening, it's a great place to sit and enjoy 2 for 1 cocktails! All the staff we encountered were friendly and so helpful, it made our stay even better. Lonely beach itself was not really our kind of resort, but it's easy to jump in a songthaew and visit other areas of the island-we really liked the quiet beach at Bang Bao. Overall, a fantastic relaxing place to spend a few days!

Peaceful resort hotel

We stayed in the lowest level of room - but got a second-floor unit so it was quite nice. The private balcony had an ocean view that was slightly obstructed by the more expensive rooms closer to the ocean, but you get what you pay for. The bed was comfortable, and the room was nice and clean.

Nice Nest Sense

Near the Lonely Beach town with lots of restaurants and shops in the locality. 10 to 15 mins walk to a sandy beach. Really nice friendly and attentive staff, couldn't wish for more. Great breakfast, all cooked to order from a small but OK selection wouldn't suit you if you want a buffet but for me it was excellent. Nice but small infinity pool with good views over the bay. Room was as expected with reasonable shower and fittings. My room was musty smelling for the first few days, I expect it hadn't been used during the rainy season. A shame there wasn't any outside furniture as I would have spent some time lying in the private garden. Wifi ok at the pool but intermittent at the room. All in all a pleasant place if you like lounging about with not a lot to do. Lots of bikes to rent in the area if you feel like exploring.

Excellent Resort, great location, great staff.

I spent three nights at the Nest Sense Resort and it I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, lovely view and very clean. The food was great, the breakfast had a great selection of choices. If I return to Koh Chang again this is the only place I will want to stay.

simple and quiet- but bad poolside music .

I really liked the place however i stayed in a Villa with pool one night but then due to the hotel being full i moved to a deluxe room ,, this was not as good - the details in the deluxe rooms were not as good and i didnt enjoy as much my second night. The place overall is nice and staff really sweet. nice a quiet …but id only stay in a villa room the next time .Big bad point - the music in the pool area sucked - it was like elevator music they need to invest into some cool lounge music - that was sad really - the place could be even cooler with a little more effort on detail. But overall i like the place and its sweet staff.

Relaxing, beautiful hotel

I stayed in a Deluxe Sea View room with its own pool and couldn't fault it. The room was large and airy, the view was amazing, the bed comfortable, the shower strong and hot and the pool was pretty large. The only downside was I felt the pool needed a handrail, but it didn't affect my enjoyment at all. The restaurant had a good variety of food and cocktails and the staff were always friendly. They certainly use the personal touch and remember the small things, such as whether you like tea or coffee in the morning. When I stayed Lonely Beach was really quiet but everything was open, however I was there to relax so I spent most of the time in Nest Sense.

Improve the toilet facilities

The staff are nice and the breakfast is tasty. However, the swimming pool is small and should improve some facilities in the toilet as there are no space to put the soap and hang the towel.

Contemporary, Secluded, and Romantic Bungalows

We The architecture and interior design stayed there two nights, and I was impressed. The roomwas like contemporary minimalist, but very bright with lighting that felt very warm, ready to put you in a very romantic frame of mind. There is not much beach, but the view is spectacular. You even have a covered porch with lounge chairs to relax over the water. The public area has a great little infinity pool that looks over the bay as well. breakfast is included and was very tasty. The grounds were groomed and maintained every morning. The resort is brand new and still working on some landscaping around the pool edge. Only a few minutes walk to Lonely Beach activities but very quiet once you are there.

Das Hotel sollte für die Durchreise sein. Daher hatten wir ein ganz einfaches Zimmer mit Garten. Es war neu modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Ruhe und das sehr freundliche personal. Auf der Reise hatten wir 9 verschiedene Hotels und das hatte das bequemste Bett mit 1er Matratze. Kommen gerne wieder

Cadre magnifique et personnel au petits soins nous avons séjourner 2 jours dans cet hôtel avec un bébé de multiples magasins se trouvent à à peine 5 minutes de l hôtel l emplacement est idéal si vous cherchez à être dépaysé.

Samat huoneet eroavat toisistaan, joten kuvassa näkyvä piha esimerkiksi ei välttämättä vastaa todellisuutta. Todella siisti ja todella hieno hotelli lukuunottamatta lukuisten huoneliskojen aiheuttamia ulostejäämiä. Upeat näkymät ja oma allas on mahtava. Aamupala tilauksesta valmistettava, ei ihan omaan makuuni, mutta luultavasti kaikki muut pitävät.

Peaceful resort

Decent atmosphere, super-friendly and nice personnel. Exceptional service but no access to beach. Closest beach is 15-20 min walking.

Wir hatten eine Villa mit Pool Seaside. Sehr schön groß und ruhig. Man hat eine super Privatspähre. Der Strand ist nicht zum Baden geeinget, da sehr viele große Steine. Zu Fuß kann man zum Lonely Beach. Dort einige Geschäfte und Restaurants. Das Team ist spitze. Es fehlte an nichts.

Bungolow met uitzicht ondergaande zon in de zee en prive zwembad was prachtig. Ontbijt beperkte keuze, restaurant kan ook beter.

Un peu cher

J' avais réservé une chambre vue mer avec piscine : très belle chambre et équipements agréables. Le petit déjeuner personnellement ne m a pas plu (servi à l assiette). Le personnel est très sympa. Donc, rapport qualité prix moyen. Pas de place, mais mer aux abords.

Personal, Zimmer, Austattung und Sauberkeit waren sehr gut. Gutes sättigendes Frühstück. Wunderschöne Aussicht. Per Roller schöne Strände in der Nähe. Gute Restaurants, Bars und Mini Supermarkt im Ort.

Tres bel endroit au calme. Les chambres sont tres propres, tres confortables et bien équipées. L ensemble du personnel est adorable et attentif. Je recommande vivement

Petit joyau confortable et calme (mais onéreux)

Très beau petit resort près de Lonely Beach (accessible à pied en longeant le bord de la route). Calme et reposant (ce qui n’est pas le cas partout, surtout dans le petit village avec sa propre petite « walking street », pour les fétards noctambules). Les chambres dites deluxe sont assez simples mais confortables, avec vue sur mer. Le personnel est toujours disponible. Petit déjeuner à la carte très correct, mais assez peu varié (mention spéciale pour l’assiette de fruits proposées à la fin). Les petites villas avec piscine privée et vue sur la mer font le véritable intérêt de ce resort boutique.

Hotel très calme

Très bel hôtel calme, personnel adorable, tout était parfait, si il y avait un axe d'amélioration ce serait d'avoir quelqu'un à la réception 24/24 car à partir de 22H plus de personnel jusqu'au lendemain.

Sehr schönes, kleines Boutique-Resort am Ende des Lonely Beach Inn Koh Chang. Ich hatte eine Pool Villa, es war einfach traumhaft. Alles sehr sauber, sehr nettes Personal und sehr ruhig.
