Happy Days !
A truly remarkable place to stay.Tranquil, serene and totally relaxing. We spent two nights here en route to the Dead Sea and regret not having stayed longer ! Staff were helpful.........Toilet/Shower block was spotless........Breakfast was superb. Highly recommended and we hope to stay here in the future when we return to Israel. Thank you x.

Wonderful experience.
The rooms were minimalistic but the rugs inside were beutiful. The staff was super nice! It was not your typical hotel but it had its own charme. No food readily available on property but very close places to shop. There was also a kitchen.
The Negev Camel Ranch is a hidden gem. The staff are friendly and engaging, the food was fresh, healthy, and tasty, the rooms are simple but very comfortable. Bathrooms and rooms are clean and well-appointed, and the camels just added to the fun of the place. I’d love to have the opportunity to go back!
Nice place
Very good service and people
We wished we had brought the kids to ride camels. The location is wonderful and in the Desert. When we checked in we had a nice cup of tea. The rooms are BASIC but the price is better than basic. Great economical stay in Israel.
Extraordinary experience
Me and my two friends visited Israel. But Negev Camel Ranch was our favorite spot. Staff here is excellent and very helpful. They are really friendly. It was amazing experience. Hope to get back someday.
An adventure indeed
What an amazing adventure! The food was fantastic, the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and genuine. The entire experience is a once in a lifetime event. The camels are sweet well cared for and obviously loved. Don’t miss this adventure and bring friends and family. Great for kids!!
Amazing Experience
The one hour camel ride was so much fun and the views of the desert were very scenic! The tour guide gave information about the camels and the Negev Desert. The breakfast and dinner were both fantastic and authentic. Dinner consisted of a rice dish, a vegetable dish with potatoes, carrots, and tomato sauce, a lentil dish, a salad, pita, olives, a tehini dip, and lemonade with fresh mint. Dessert was dates and tea. The portions were very large, and everything tasted great! Breakfast consisted of fresh buns, cheeses, halva (delicious), fruits, hard boiled eggs, various spreads, yogurt, tea, lemonade, and vegetables. The meal was very filling and very high quality. The presentation of meals was excellent. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The staff really went above and beyond to make sure every guest was taken care of. I was given a ride to and from the bus station in Dimona at no cost. The staff offers complimentary tea and coffee at any time. They have camel products and souvenirs available. I purchased a hand carved camel figurine, camel soap, and a bag of the tea that they served me. I was gifted a camel key chain at check out. The bathrooms were communal, but the condition of the facilities were very clean. The rooms each had several beds and a space heater for night. After 5 minutes with the space heater on, the room was toasty warm at night. At night, the sky is filled with stars, and the desert mountains were hauntingly beautiful. Wifi worked at reception.
Perfect way to experience the Negev dessert
Must do- camel ride in the Negev with staffmember Visit nearby Natinal Park and just let the surroundings work on you. Great experince, clear sky at night to see all of the stars. TOP ;-)
Awesome experience
. What a fun experience! The cabin/hut was very clean.and accommodated our family of 5. The bathroom facility is a shared bathroom and very clean. We reserved dinner and breakfast in advance and they were delicious and plentiful. The reception area, that also serves as the dining facility had wifi. The staff was so nice and welcoming. We enjoyed an hour camel ride before we left and was guided into the desert with a very knowledgeable guide.
Great stay with camels!
We loved staying at the Negev Camel Ranch. The location serves as a great base to get out and explore the desert and Dead Sea regions. We didn't take a camel ride, though many of the other guests did and absolutely loved it. The camels seem really well cared for and living with them right outside our door was a treat. The service provided by the staff was fantastic. Be sure to get breakfast and dinner at least once while you are there. Both were excellent. We did have a heat wave while there and there's no air conditioning or fan, but there was a shaded hammock and lounging area. Also, the herbal tea served in the common area is incredible. Such a fantastic place.
Good experience staying in a ranch. Friendly staff. Check-in time was too short (office closes at 7 p.m.).
Very nice and pleasant place
A lot of charm and a very nice atmosphere. I would recommend it to people looking for an original experience
Unique experience
Unique experience: all good! Warm hospitality and camel ride was fun experience!
Amazing
This was an amazing cultural experience !
Camel Kisses ! Really !
Came by myself to this oasis in the Negev. Was treated like Family by the Ullmans, Ariel even picked me up a aroad side Bus stop and took me the next day to the Dimina train staion for free !!! Very laid back, and basic but charming place to stay for tose wanting soemthing different and casual. Rooms simple yet attractive and lots of room to roam and enjoy the Peace & Quiet, austerity with awe at the coolness of the Negev in winter. No Camel ride for me, this time but maybe next time. Definately stay there if you can !
Camel Ranch a Blast !
The Negev camel Ranch run by Ariel & wife is a Organic and calming place to go and stay in the Negev. They are helpful, and generous, and being near the camels right outside our bungalow was wonderful. This is rustic accomdations , at it's best ! The accomdations are simple but rooms large, the environment is authentic. The food is extra but the portions are so generous that it lasted me for 2 + meals. Simple, hardy Bedouin food. There are nice mats & hamocks strung between large date palms for shade and little hide aways where you can recline Bedouin style under overgrown low hanging tree. This is my second time there and each time it is a different experience. I can't wait to have a chance to go back and hear No sounds but the humphing of the camels !!
best one-star hotel ever
The place itself is just a bit more than a campsite with very simple accomdations and fantastic hospitality, food, and guides who really know and care about the camels. A wonderful place.
Great, depending on what you're after...
I just used this place as a launch pad for a trip to Masada, so I did not take advantage of the camel rides nor the meals (which looked delicious, however). But for only £20 a night, there is nothing to complain about. The staff (particularly the owner, Ariel) are delightful and very welcoming, and the rooms, if obviously basic, are deceptively comfortable. The shared facilities are clean and tidy, much more so than in other similar camps I have stayed in. Easy to find and in a beautiful setting- I would certainly recommend this as a base for exploring the Negev.
Wonderfully unique
Absolutely wonderful! You can not miss this ranch if you are visiting Israel! The entire ranch, the surroundings, and the experience with the camels are unique. We loved everything about our stay there and THANK very much the personnel and the owner who are extremely nice and interesting.
Unforgettable family adventure
We booked this place fully aware of what it is "a camel ranch" with rugged camp accommodations. Our stay by exceeded all of our expectations! Our cabin was neat and pleasantly decorated with original Bedouin motifs. Very unique. All around the ranch is covered with sand; so if you want a dessert experience, this is the real deal! Shared WC accommodations were clean and plenty of hot water. As requested, we put in our request in advance for our Dinner and Breakfast. Not only you will satisfied with the value and portions, but if I can eat meals like this everyday, I will have no problem giving up meat. Food was delicious !!! We took the 2 hour camel ride and we are glad we did as it was one if the highlights of our trip to Israel. We learned more about the Nabataeans, camels, and the ancient spice caravan trail, in a 2 hour camel ride than a with a guided tour to Petra, where the Nanataeans based their empire. Ariel is an excellent tour guide, pointing out some history and sights along the way. You also can do a camel ride without staying for the night. We have nothing to say but good things about this place. Owners take a lot of pride & efforts to give you a memorable stay and they spoke perfect English. One last thing, we stayed during World Cup 2014 and we were so pleased to have Free internet access to watch the game and allowed to hang around the dining area until the wee hours
Cabin accommodations in the Negev
Spectacular desert Location, excellent food, pleasant and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and return
walking distance to Mamshit
Great breakfasts and dinners, bathrooms a bit shaggy
in the desert
This is not for everyone. If your idea of vacation is room service and fluffy towels this is not for you. The guest huts are spacious and on the spare side, but were fine. Reminiscent of youth hostels of old, with communal kitchen, shared WC and common space with delicious tea.
Highlight of our Israel Trip!
This is a ranch so appropriately named, if you want a new experience this is it! I loved the causal.and comfortable feel of the place. It was well maintained and the rooms/huts were nicely decorated and comfortable. The food was very good and plentiful. The camel ride was amazing as were the sunsets. Definitely would return!
peace and tranquility
Lovely place - calm and tranquil . Lovely owners made us feel very welcome
I had a blast here! The staff was very friendly. They are very proud of their place and it shows in their work. I would recommend this place to anyone and when I return to Israel, I would like to stay here again.
Exceeded expectations
What a find! Our night at the Camel Ranch was one of the high points of our trip. It provided a truly different and memorable experience for the family. The owner, Ariel, is warm and hospitable and has a great sense of humor. The vegetarian meals were excellent. Accommodations are unusual, but in a good way. The hut sits on sand covered with fabric, so when you step outside the hut, you are standing in sand. The hut is heated. There are many camels there, and they offer camel rides. If you want to do something really different, check this place out!
Very interesting place. Simple but good. Don't store your food in the room - then you get mice!
Hospitality and personality
We wanted a night in the desert, and were not disappointed. Warm tea waited for us, and the clerc made it clear that they would do everything to make sure we should have a nice stay. The huts aand beds are simpel, but clean. The food is extraordinary, both the dinner and the breakfast, and the price reasonable. The one hour camel trip can be recommended. We went out right before sunset, and the guide really added to the trip. We owerhwelmed him with questions about everything we imagined he maybe could answer, and he really did his best - in his own personal way with lots of humor. Conclution, if you are out for something a little bit extra, nice food and warm hospitality, this is the place.
Negev Camel Ranch
Just wanted to warn people that contrarily to what Hotels.com mentions, credit cards aren't accepted, only cash is. Have a great stay.
Experiência interessante no deserto
Polecam zawsze i o każdej porze roku :)
Rewelacyjne miejsce. Cisza, spokój, gwiazdy, wielbłądy i (obowiązkowo) lokalne jedzenie.
Good experience!
A different experience. Recommended. The rooms are clean and confortable. The breakfast is good and fresh. The camels are well cared and calm. Wifi need to be improved. The signal is weak. There are only shared bathrooms, but are clean.
To niesamowite miejsce.
Geweldig
Geweldige ervaring ga zeker terug
Sjarmerende på kamelranch
Meget enkelt men desto mer sjarmerende sted ved Dimona. Meget god frokost.
Nice experience with camels
Nice cottages, verey quiet location in nature and very close to Mamshit archeological sites. The only neighbours are about 40 camels on which you can ride for 75 shekels per hour. You get free tea on arival.
velmi doporučuji
naprosto výjimečné, čisté, výborný a vstřícný personál

If you want a special desert experience, this is it. There are no frills and it’s like camping in a cabin. Yet this is such a unique accommodation with an exotic camel-inspired theme. We loved the hammock, the outdoor seating area and simplicity of it. The camel tour is a highlight to add on. Definitely for the adventurous spirit. Unforgettable!
