The area is very noisy with lots of street and bar noise and the restaurants/bars along the street/alley receive their daily orders early morning. Lots of delivery noise during this time. The room was clean, big, nice to have the kitchen, with dining table and sofa, staff was very friendly, helpful and informative.
Great location and accommodations.
We loved the proximity of the property to restaurants, shops and attractions; and the quality of the rooms. We’ll definitely stay at the Native Glasgow the next time we’re in town.
Impeccable service. Beautiful rooms.
Awesome location
The hotel was in a fantastic location right outside of Buchanan Street for all your shopping needs, and within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. The room was comfortable, though the photos online were a bit different than what we received. The “studio” room online depicts a sofa in front of the bed, but our room had no sofa and a large half-wall in between the bedroom and the kitchenette. The building was also very hot, which was fixed by opening the windows but with the close proximity to busy streets we had to close them to sleep. The air conditioning didn’t seem to work either, so it was a bit hot for sleeping. Otherwise a great place! Super friendly staff, very clean, and great location.
Amazing property, so good I rebooked for this Friday . Plus they are looking after some bits I had to leave .
Unbelievable place to stay, could not fault a thing
Beautiful place to stay
Beautiful, comfy room with large bathroom. Located within walking distance for dining and shopping. Very clean and updated. Would love to revisit.
Top location, beautiful decor, bargain!
I run a self-catering property and this room gave me a kick up the €*#$ to improve my decor - and I have v high ratings. I was getting complacent! The location is great, for the theatre, shops, bars, restaurants and offices (do you really have to do that boring work stuff? Well, spoil yourself with a lovely hotel room!). The kitchen is very well equipped and very clean. The reception staff are polite, efficient and actually present - so many places expect the room cleaners to run reception and everything else, not very fair. Highly recommended!
Loved it!
Heritage building all fitted out with modern conveniences. Spotless bathroom and very well kitted out mini kitchen, complete with microwave, small dishwasher, and kitchenware. There was even a cafetiere. Very friendly staff. Would most definitely recommend.
We stayed 8 nights, room was in back of property. Very noisy lane parallel to hotel, all of the restaurants Keggs are disposed in that lane and @5:00am every morning, it is wxcess
The property was a great location under 10 mins from the main station and beautifully furnished. We’d likely visit again although as it’s so central you can hear some hustle and bustle from outside.
Really well spec’d apartments right in the city centre but a quiet haven from the sometimes loud streets of Glasgow!
We really enjoyed it. The staff were amazing and we loved the room⭐️Thank you
Great apartment in the centre of Glasgow
Fantastic apartment in the centre of Glasgow. Good amenities and very comfortable accommodation.
If they had parking, it would be a perfect place to stay. But, there are plenty of transportation routes around. Very nice hotel & a great hotel staff.
Very enjoyable experience!
Great location in the heart of the city so very convenient. Beautifully renovated apartment style suite with separate living/ kitchen area from bedroom, perfect for business or pleasure. Very friendly and attentive staff, easy to get it and out. Not even one minor complaint, I highly recommend.
Our stay in Glasgow
The stay was excellent gentleman at reception on the evening we arrived was very helpful as were all the staff. On the down side on the Sunday evening when we came back to the hotel after having a meal our group also staying at the hotel and our friends we were here to meet from Australia decided to have a drink at the bar only to be told it was closed ( approx 10-30 ) although it say`s till late.
Fantastic front desk staff and I had the best sleep I've had on a while! Nice and quiet comfy bed great room
Excellent - wee bit of noise from street but outstanding otherwise
Loved it.
Lovely apartment. Decor beautiful. Great views from the balcony. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and great shower
Fabulous stay.
Excellent stay at the Glasgow Native as ever - infact the best yet as the lovely Ian on Reception upgraded me to a one-bedroomed apartment. Why would anyone stay in a hotel when you can have this? And you have the Anchor Line and Citizen downstairs. Just fabulous, wish I was staying longer. Thank you Ian - you are an excellent ambassador for the Glasgow Native 😊
Nice, clean hotel suite in great location.
Nice room
Room was lovely the hotel parts were a bit rundown but the actual room was great
Fantastic apartment in an ideal location
We had a fabulous stay here! The apartment was fantastic with everything you need and more and in an ideal location.
Right in the city center and cute designer rooms! Had a great experience at the native.
3 minute walk from Queen Street station. Nice area of city. Nice rooms. Good bed. Only downside is price.
Lovely staff, very central perfectly clean and user-friendly.
Winter visit
Excellent location, very central and convenient particularly if travelling by train. Clean and comfortably. Reasonably well-equipped kitchen. Only issue was temperature. Needed additional heating during Scottish winter. Staff very helpful and responsive.
A lovely large room with a very spacious bathroom and a kitchenette. The fresh coffee was a nice touch too. In my opinion, the bedroom could do with a mirror for doing hair and makeup. The silocone on the windows/ windowsill could also do with a more thorough clean but it wasn't anything that took away from the general cleanliness.
Staff at check-in are awesome.
Perfect for a Storm Lock-down
Perfect place for a few nights of Celtic Connections festival. So glad we booked here and had somewhere to be, and self-cater, while locked down for the day in the Red Warning for Storm Eowen, even if we did lose two concerts to the storm.
Highly recommend
After a flight reschedule following a storm i needed a last min booking in glasgow central. What a brilliant find. Right beside Queen st station its brilliantly located. The reception staff are fantastic and the studio room i was in was superb. Really slick design, super comfy and massive bed. Full kitchen and everything you'd need. I had to stay another night and didn't really want to switch rooms so the staff worked to help me keep the original room. Over and above good customer service. Id 100% stay here again
Everything was excellent except heating room would not heat up
Excellent property and really central for shops bars and food. Location great. Clean and modern. Recommend one with outdoor space
Excellent property with all facilities
Great location
Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful
Fantastic value for money and a lovely suite.
Glasgow centre
Fantastic hotel. Great location in Central Glasgow, right near George Square. Old building with renovated, spacious rooms.
The renovated one room suite was very nice. Clean room, helpful receptionists, and close to many shops, restaurants, and the subway. The walls/windows(?) are a little thin like you can hear some noise from the hallways and outside, but it wasn’t bad. It was nice to have a little fridge and microwave.
Good Stay
Good stay as per usual. However, a little disappointed, no milk for the tea & coffee and Long black hair in the shower cubicle. I have blonde hair and my husband has none so defo not ours. Missed getting the little breakfast pack in the morning. ☹
Native Hotels are Spacious
Great room setup- nice and spacious!
Very good
Very pleasant stay right in the middle of Glasgow. 400m from Queen St station. When back in Glasgow would stay here again.
Cracking spot next to station and good bars and restaurants.
Gem in central Glasgow
This property is a gem
Friendly staffs and well maintained property. Room is not soundproofed but overall, it’s a beautiful apt hotel. Conveniently located as well.
No heat in the room.
Perfect for a night out in the city
This was my 3rd long stay at Native Glasgow. It’s lovely with great location. My safety concerns from staying last summer were resolved which as a single woman traveler was great.
Great central location
Highly recommended
Central and convenient. Super staff. Acres of space & comfort.
BAD BAD BAD
Smelt terrible, they did no change sheets or make beds, place was untidy and dirty
Hands down one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed! The customer service was top notch. The employees were a joy to be around. I look forward to going back and staying again!
Gracious staff, beautiful room
Right next to Buchanan Street. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Close to train station. No onsite parking. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was spacious and clean.
Top class
Amazing place. Highly recommend.
Great Accomodation.
Great accommodation, very clean in a good location. Staff were very helpful.
Awesome deal on parking and AMAZING location. We had a blast
This is 2nd staying at the hotel and again we can’t fault it. Staff are so nice, rooms are amazing
Clean and friendly
Challenging location as a car cannot stop in front of the hotel and parking is a 5-7 min walk from the hotel. Also there is no porter to help with bags and the reception is on the 1st floor! Room was good
loved it!
Excellent apartment right in the centre of town. We drove in and parked nearby but it’s within walking distance of the train station. Really cheers reception staff and the apartment was spotless with everything you could need.
Great stay but sometimes desk not manned. Thankfully we didn’t have to wait too long. Wasn’t thrilled about having a wheelchair accessible room, as showering wasn’t a great experience. It was very expensive for a Wednesday overnighter.
Big rooms, great amenities
Only stayed one night! Centrally located, spacious, quiet, and convenient. Really appreciated Ian at the front desk who was attentive to our requests and very helpful.
Stayed in room 407. Was shocked to discover work tops had not been cleaned and was covered in some sauce on kitchen area surfaces, dirty hand prints on coffee table, crumbs on sofa. Its like only the bed was changed and bathroom cleaned however the kitchen and living room area was not cleaned at all. I had to go get a cleaner to show her the uncleaned areas in the apartment which was cleaned then. Upon looking inside the fridge to after it had not been wiped out inside for some time. I had requested extra bedding for the sofa bed, which I had neither received. Not what one would expect from an establishment for that money!!
The Native couldn't have been closer to everything central to Glasgow. The staff were extremely helpful. One thing to note is there is one single lift that is tight and takes its time but that did not impede us much. Great place for exploring the city as it is close to the subway and Buchanan Street.
Loved our stay in Glasgow—Native is perfectly located near Queen’s station. The room (suite) was perfect for 3 of us. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at a Native again
Very positive. Great location.
LIKE Location, Apartment DISLIKE: Front Entrance Stairs
Perfectly placed, near to the station and plenty of food options
While I felt safe inside the hotel as a solo female, due to the multiple security locks, I did not think it would be a good idea to wander around too much after dark. The shops close down very early and the area feels dirty and crowded for the most part. The hotel itself was excellent and the staff super responsive.
I've always wanted to try this hotel. It is lovely and food was good but i feel we were excessively overcharged for our stay.
Fantastic stay in merchant city , Glasgow.
Lovely stay at Native. Fantastic views for our penthouse appartement. The staff was really friendly and helpful !! Will definitely comeback .
Totally love this place . A little noisy hearing adjacent apartment doors opening and closing.
Hotel was great. Not a fan of the city.
Great location, rooms are nice.
We stayed in the one-bedroom apartment. It was quiet, very roomy, and had everything we needed for a multi-day stay. The shower was hot with excellent water pressure. Highly recommended!
The room was excellent.
Had a brilliant one-night stay here - the studio room was enormous! Plenty of room, a small dining table and chairs, very comfortable bed, good hairdryer, huge bathroom, lots of storage... Location extremely central and near many good restaurants and coffee shops. I will definitely consider this place again if I need to stay overnight in Glasgow.
Great location. Would stay again.
Clean, modern rooms in the heart of Glasgow
Excellent hotel with kitchenettes right near St George Square. Spacious room with modern amenities. Had washer/dryer in our unit. Would definitely stay again!
Great location, poor amenities. Clean comfortable room, just lacking basics like wash cloths, coffee creamer, any maintenance/turn over of room. Was there 5 days in balcony suite and surprised with lack of upkeep service. I would opt to stay somewhere with better amenities/services/supplies next time for price.
Beautiful hotel and suite
Very convenient location
Excellent location and propert immaculate
Fabulous accommodation & location
Had a lovely stay at Native Glasgow. Very central a 5 min walk from Glasgow Central station a few minutes from Merchant City and just minutes away from George Square & Buchanan Street. Also next to some fabulous restaurants. The accommodation I chose was for 3 even though only 2 of us stayed but we need 2 beds so we used the sofa bed. Very comfortable and lots of room. Loved the decor & high ceilings. Well equipped kitchen area. The Reception staff where lovely very friendly & helpful. Loved our stay will be back
Good
Hotel as per was great but bathroom had some dampness
Amazing
The room was beautiful, Staff friendly and exceeded expectations. Property was located close tobcity centre and train station ciuld not have asked for a better location
Excellent accommodation in a great location
We had a fabulous penthouse studio. Very clean. Great location with shoes, bars and restaurants close by. Will definitely return.
Comfortable room in a perfect location
Great little room right in the centre of Glasgow. Kitchenette was well stocked. Small problem with the joinery around the fridge door, but that will be referbished soon apparently. Shower and bathroom were both spacious, bed was comfortable, TV was great. Enough space for everything.
The good: - location. Near the center streets. Everything is within walking distance. - size of the rooms and bathroom. The bad: - service for the rooms is below par. If you’re staying for less than a week your room wont be cleaned and the cleaning services are so very limited. - There are no tissue boxes at all. - very noisy at night. Not a very restful sleep. - the corridors leading up to the room are very smelly. - the rooms air conditioning wont turn on and neither do the windows. Overall: not a very luxurious experience despite the prices.
Excellent location and very clean room.
I had a very pleasant stay. The location is perfect, close to the train station with several restaurants and pubs. The room was very clean and quite bigger than expected. The reception was very responsive and attentive to my needs.
Rooms were nice and clean.
We enjoyed our stay at Native Glasgow. Excellent location so close to train and transit to airport. Lively area, but good windows made the rooms quiet. Ours had a balcony with a view of the square. Air conditinoing was a nice plus. Comfortable bed. Very small kitchen with fridge and dishwasher, could be used to prepare simple meals. Our room was very small, with a table for 2 and a desk squeezed next to the bed, but no easy spot to open a suitcase or suitcase stand. Georgios and Valeria at the reception were very helpful and kind. There is no real lobby, but there is a bar right downstairs that was open late.

We really liked the quality, condition and location of this property. The room was large and the bathroom was clean and modern. The kitchen was brand new and the TV was huge. The only concern was the distance to parking having to lug our bags many blocks to the garage.
