Happy with our experience

No microwave, limited cultery, limited dining ware

Clean and tidy, quiet, affordable.

A warm and welcoming accommodation!

Not expensive, but under new management & complex needs a lot of maintenance

Impressions

The room looked tired and in need of some serious upgrading.

Air con didn’t work great so it was super hot in the room, the spa didn’t work and it took ages to actually run the bath. Clean room but needs to upgrade its services

Terrible reception service

Room was okay considering its age. Reception Indian gentleman was not able to provide a tax invoice for my stay, asked at check in and check out still would not email me a tax invoice. I do not recommend this hotel in any way shape or form, look at alternative options.

Air con units could do with replacement

Clean big room. Walking distance to shops.

For resting good

Looking at your site is says a Bar, breakfast and room service. Signs on highway says this but it did not offer this at all. Very poor I must say

Spacious Room, Clean and Comfortable

The room i stayed in could of done with an airfreshener - lingering odour! Otherwise comfortable..

Room was a good size with a kitchen but air conditioner is very old and tiny TV also shower over the bath is badly designed.

Great price and quality

This property needs serious updating both exterior and interior. Although it says Restaurant on the front door this is out of date information. There were also no hairdryers available for any of the rooms and our did not even have tissues. All in all a run-down property which should be charging a LOT less than it does,

good old style big rooms, good bed, pillows and tv. Good price too

Guy runs this place is easy-going and was very helpful as I arrived right on closing time is Clien and great value for money. I’ll stay there again for sure.

Overnight stay

We only stayed as an overnight. Got in at 10pm, left at 6am. Bed was a bit hard, but nothing too bad. It was a nice little motor inn with great help from the staff.

Great value and central to everything

The room was very good but in unit 18 where we stayed the spar bath didn't work .it was disappointing. Everything else was good..

Easy checkin and the property is very clean, comfortable, roomy and well maintained, but it is also very dated and could do with an update. The bathroom fan/extractor was super noisy in our room.

Great well maintained rooms. Cosy and comfortable. Definitely recommend. Reception was friendly and quick.

Needs an update. May have been great in its day but is tired and average overall. Gets a lot of workers during the week and was full when we stayed. Noise wasn't an issue but it seemed there was no reason for the owners to upgrade...

Very welcoming staff. Was upgraded without even asking. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. and well priced Will definitely stay there again.

It appeared the floor area between furniture was not vacuumed

Good sized rooms for an overnight stop over & group of 4. High way motel, clean & basic. Reasonably priced & would to stay again.

Air conditioning did not heat, tv remote control was unreliable and there were no towels.

Staff pleasant and informative. Clean and fresh room.

Motel was quiet convenient with easy parking. Service and amenities were excellent. Staff were courteous and efficient. I will definitely stay there again.

Overall. A good place to stay A word of warning though Narrabri is a very; Spread out , place and the motel is approx 1 k out of the town centre. Nearby meal facilities are limited, especially on Mondays when the Thai restaurant 150m away is closed

This is good accommodation and the proprietors are very nice. I've stayed before and will do again.

Room was spacious and had a nice bath but a lot of the surfaces (the bench and bedside table etc) were sticky to the touch. Had to use the sink in the bathroom to wash dishes too

We arrived a little late (around 1900) and the check in process was easy enough. Room was warm - a bonus. There was old food in the fridge - no idea how long it had been there. There were cobwebs on the ceiling which were quite large and very easily spotted. The mattress was well worn and was probably due for replacement. Convenient for our trip and central to Narrabri. Parking was easy.

What a nice surprise. A very inexpensive hotel with a spacious room and large bathroom with spa and shower. Good fridge and usual coffee tea sugar milk. No dining in but excellent Chinese restaurant and had the very best best coffee aybreakfsst at Yeti cafe Both places very close to Nandewar hotel. Lovely town Narrabri

Good stop over or short stay

Older style motel but was very clean and very comfortable to rest overnight after a long days drive. Room quiet. Staff helpful . BBQ area and Pool onsite looked clean. First night our room had a microwave which was helpful. Booked a room on return journey, unfortunately didn’t have a microwave but did have a spa bath, which was great. Beds were very comfortable also. Will stay here again in the future

Lovely staff. Was able to arrange after hours check in easily with really friendly customer service. Bed was super comfortable and the spa bath is huge. Very comfortable room.

Good country motel, friendly staff, conveniently located on highway - but quiet. Close to shopping streets and eating options, Comfortable bed and large clean bathroom with large corner spa. Only issue plug was too big for spa.

Unfortunately, our bed was not comfortable - it sank into the middle. The room had a spa bath, which I tried to use after a day of hiking. However, the plug would not hold the water. After requesting this be checked the following day, a new plug was supplied - however, once full the spa did not work. The soap holder in the shower had come off the wall - my husband fixed it by rescrewing it back on. Left over soap and shampoo bottles on top of shower - not removed by cleaner. There was a lot of accumulated items lost down the side of the wash basin - not a good look. The air con was very noisy - which had to be put on as we had a run of 37 deg days. The location was great - not far from CBD and quiet.

Helpful staff in regard to late check-in. Large room with everything we needed.

Aircon facing outet door did nothing to cool the room or the bed area. Plenty of places in room where it would be beneficial to the occupants. Bed was hard as a rock. Why do some motels operate under the illusion that hard beds where you can feel every spring are better than a mattress that costs a little more with much better structure and padding to ensure a good nights sleep is quite beyond me. In the bathroom, the toilet roll holder is behind the toilet?? Who does this? I wasnt born a contortionist, and last time i looked my husband wasnt either

Solid motel

Good reliable motel in Narrabri Good location and quiet. Rooms are a good size

It was good.

We checked in late to our room and they keys had been left out for us in a safe location, and the best part was the air con was on in our room which was such a relief getting to the motel on a hot evening!

Cockroaches in room,

We were pleasantly surprised with the lovely jetted tub - so great after a day of travel! We walked to a tasty Thai restaurant. We were also pleasantly surprised how quiet the hotel is, despite its proximity to the major road. My husband enjoyed a peaceful walk in the paddocks surrounding the hotel, meeting some kangaroos.

Easy check in and out. Tidy rooms and only a short walk from town

Disappointing.

Well, apart from no bar, restaurant or room service , no wifi password, unwashed coffee cup, non working lights and fan, sticky surfaces and being given a milk carton that was already open and half full I guess it was passable.

It was clean, the receptionist new we were getting in late so she was nice that she let us pick up the keys early from her

Ac and lighting out in room. No ac with the afternoon sun and lack of airflow made room a oven.

I was unhappy that they advertised everywhere that they have breakfast and night dining. However this didn't happen. If they can't get staff then they should not advertise that they offer these services.

The Bed was the worst i have ever slept in it was so hard and lumpy it should have been left at the tip, The cost of $135 was ridiculous. There were no plates knives or forks. half the lights didn't work, the decor was 1980's and falling apart. The customer service was i dont give a damn, i would never stay there again and i would never stay in Narrabri after that experience

Room was clean, but for the charge you expect to have a microwave in the room ,also not enough room between the toilet and shower to get to the wash basin..Mirror on wall is alright to use if you can kneel down to shave .

Good bed Good shower. We had food delivery but had no plates to put food on. Thank goodness Delivery came with spoons. Nice place glad we came to a place that had been through devestating floods so our dollar went somewhere.

Outside looks good but inside rooms need some upgrades. In particular our bed needed replacing as wobbled, sagged and sank in middle. Also a number of light bulbs had blown. Easy fixed but appears Covid and lack of available staff has hit this hotel hard. Owner is trying hard but lacks resources
