We were very happy with our stay. We were a little skeptical given the low price so we were super happy to see it was in great condition, quiet and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room also had a little kitchen which was a nice bonus. Great job, My Place! We will see you again next time we are in Lubbock.

Lubbock trip review

It was a good trip over all. They had I change my room once because of a mix up and the new room had an adhesive smell because of something being replaced. Overall, it still gets a 5 they were kind, prompt, friendly and gave me no issues at all. I would highly recommend it’s a good balance for the budget and far better than other less costly hotels.

Clean large room. Only problem was the TV did not work and no one answered our phone calls.

I don’t know how it’s has great reviews. My experience was very bad . The room smell bad carpet smell. And one number 1 I felt very on safe I was in the 3rd floor and the was people maybe from Venezuela had the room door open and very loud noise when a was walking to my room they were just staring at me . I was here for 5 min and I left and got another hotel . I will never stay there never in my life .

Disrcrimination. No locals allowed. Manager stated after viewing my Lubbock I.D.. Luckily we were in between towns moving.Hair in bathtub on floor, residue on tub,shower head, shower handles, dirty vents in A/C unit,dirty bathrooim vent, dirty stove top. No refund If your local $85.00 loss.Hidden $40.00 Fee not mentioned either. Only kept by hotel. If any damage is done to hotel in room. Only refunded if you ask In 7-10 days later. How many people are being ripped off. That's A LOT OF MONEY.

Wouldn’t recommend

Room smelt like cigarette smoke. There’s about 20 grown men who hangout outside drinking beer every evening until 2 in the morning. Didn’t feel comfortable leaving at night.

Enjoyed our5 day stay! Shower handle needs help though

Very basic, no frills accommodations. Breakfast items were extra, internet was available but slow. Water pressure was great, water was hot, beds were comfy and clean, AC was cold. No weird smells. There was a fridge, stove, microwave and toaster in the room. No pool or hot tub. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of outlets.

We got the and the first room they gave us smell like smoke . The 2nd room they gave us the bed wasn’t made and it was after check in time . We didn’t hang around the room . Got back at 10 and finally was made .

Our bed was not good-hard and worn. We wanted a chair for watching TV, but didn't have one.

Nice staff, okay value, but was not informed cleaning would only be every four days. Room amenities did not match description in Expedia.

Graduation weekend

When we checked in the lady said they had staff shortage and laundry was down. Our room was out of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathroom.

Bed was comfortable, having a fridge and microwave in room was great. However, room was cleaned poorly and not inspected bc there was leftover chili peppers in the drawer, microwave had fingerprints all over it, bathroom faucet had drop of toothpaste spit on it, and soap dispenser was broken. Staff cleaned the drawer and replaced soap dispenser and was very nice and apologetic. We had a late check-in so we didn’t leave. We inspected the bed before sleeping in it though (smelled and looked clean).

The room was comfortable and clean. I just wish it had a king size bed.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and have always liked the area, which is quiet and convenient. However, this time I was disappointed. The bed in my room was very noisy and felt unstable — it seemed like the frame or support was loose, which made it hard to sleep comfortably. Also, I was surprised to find a housekeeping staff member vaping in the elevator. Is that even allowed? It didn’t feel professional at all

Excellent with a personal touch!!! Very accommodating, and kind front desk staff. Quiet, no frills kind of place, but it was everything my kids and I needed to enjoy family time together.....Not to mention extremely affordable!!! I brought my own kitchen ware and groceries, as I planned to cook for my son, who is here in town away at college. We hadn't seen him since the holidays, and I was eager to feed his belly!!! This hotel afforded me the opportunity to do just that!!! With a full sized fridge, 2 burner stove top, toaster, full size kitchen sink, dish towels, and dish detergent, I had what I needed to cook and to clean up after.

Clean, friendly and good price. I was a bit iffy based on the price but booked it because of the reviews and I was not disappointed. We go to Lubbock for doctor appointments and usually only stay one night. I would definitely book again!

Love a kitchenette!

My Mother and I were in Lubbock to visit my Great Aunt who is in a Rehabilitation hospital due to a couple of falls she had . We didn’t spend much time at the hotel but we were greatful for a full size refrigerator in the room as well as a kitchen sink!

Great Hotel for Decent price

People at the front desk were very nice and helped right away when we needed it.

I believe in honest reviews to help others, and unfortunately, I have to warn future guests about this hotel. My room was filthy—food splattered on appliances, stained towels, and an overall unsanitary feel. It was so bad I had to buy cleaning supplies and clean it myself. To make matters worse, housekeeping never cleaned my room while I was out. When I asked, I was told it was on a “no stay-over” list, meaning they weren’t planning to clean it at all. That, plus the condition of my room, made me skip the free breakfast—I couldn’t trust the cleanliness of anything in this hotel. The front desk staff was kind, but that didn’t change the fact that my Valentine’s Day stay was ruined. I regret not choosing another hotel.

Room was very dusty, couldn’t just take a bath without the shower spraying also. Pulled the water diverter and it came out!

We had a reservation and arrived at 1:30am Friday night/sat morning. The hotel advertised as a 24/7 online. We sat at the front calling the lobby phone for 15 mins and no one ever came. We sat out in the parking lot and attempted to call the front desk for another 15 mins. No one ever answered. So we ended up driving home in the middle of the night.

Have stayed here several times. Starting to show its age. Bed was very soft and felt worn out.

Super cute hotel. Room super comfortable with everything that we needed and more. Nice kitchen with huge fridge, wonderful bathroom and comfortable beds. A lot of natural light too

I can’t believe that price at hotel was a lot cheaper than what I paid with hotel.com I’ve been a member fo many years and I can’t believe the difference in price!

Would not recommend. Room smelled of very strong cigarette smoke (hotel is supposed to be nonsmoking) and they would not change our room during check in despite checking in early around 5 PM when other rooms were available. Had to open window to air our room and spent night elsewhere the first night.

The hotel on a whole is a bit worn, but very clean. The room was great with a kitchenette and a recliner. The bed and the recliner was comfortable. The only negative was there were no washcloths in the bathroom. They provided body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Had good water pressure in the shower. It was a great choice for a Texas Tech game weekend on a budget! We will be back!

Wonderfullly fantastic staff from maintenance to housekeeping to desk. They were excellent But the hotel itself is in need of attention. My tub shower was cracked uneven weirdly bumpy when showering. Pinched my toes. Stains on from door mats dirty bird poop needed addressed around building. Window needed to have sheers then real curtain not the plastic up and down shade. Needed curb appeal by front doors plants real ones. Landscape needed attention. Just over all attention

i need to get my money back as i left when i saw the condition of the property and they didnt come fix my tv. started staying here when it was first built and even became a my place member. i will never stay at another my place again.

Expectations not exceeded

Bathroom door wouldn't close as hinges were damaged. Ice maker in fridge wouldn't work. Nice guy behind counter said he wasn't a maintenance man but would try to fix 😀. I declined.

The room was damp. No bodywash while I was already in the shower.
