The staff is very friendly and the place is organized and clean.

We got caught in Salzburg without reservations and the moderately-priced hotels were all booked. This type of lodging is not our typical style so I don't want to be unfair in this review. The property was very basic. It is in a residential neighborhood with a parking lot that was too small. Local restaurants and grocery markets are a bit of a walk and close early in the evenings. The triple room was way too small for the amount of furniture - leaving no floor space. Bed linens provided were appropriate but the towels were essentially rags. There is a shortage of hair dryers. The walk into the old city was pleasant and felt safe (we were there in 20 minutes).

The location was amazing, beds were not the comfiest. Besides that everything was perfect.

Good If You Don't Mind Walking

The hostel was a bit far from most of the sights but the room was clean and comfortable.

These are college dorms.

This hostel is used as college dorm rooms when Salzburg university is in session. So if you expect the same type of room you had in college, you will be pleased.

Nice place

It is great. I like the staff working there, my room, the large kitchen, and especially the backyard.

Quite a high price for a dormitory room but probably one of the cheapest options in Salzburg. You need to pay in cash on site but hostel did not release hold of authorization made during booking on my credit card. I tried to contact them but no reply. So I will have to wait a month for hold to be automatically dropped.

Quite remote but close to Stiegls brewery which was a nice experience. Room was basic but clean, no double bed available. Staff was friendly. Wi-Fi was terrible though so hard to get connection.

Had a great experience with Sonia and Ula, the best employees at Muffin. Salzburg was a great stop on our trip thanks to them!

Not bad for the price

This hostel has the basics and is a short walk in to town. Pretty good lodging for the price. In addition, they have plenty of parking. One downfall is that they only accept cash. Your hotels.com booking only reserves the room.

Very basic hostel. Clean, but inconviently located unless you have a car. Cramped space. Good for a one night stop.

Das Einchecken ins Hostel dauert jedes Mal viel zu lange, da man lange warten muss. Eine Person an der Reception ist einfach zu wenig, bei einem grossen Andrang. Ansonsten ist das Hostel top.

It was ... ok ...

The room was very basic, but clean and the hostel is within walking distance from the beautiful old center of Salzburg (approx. 20 minutes). In the immediate area of the hostel however, there is not much to do or visit. Unfortunately, as it turned out, the room we had booked (with a queen size bed) didn't exist (the Muffin hostel only has rooms with single beds), so that was disappointing for a married couple like us. Also (and I realize that Salzburg is thé most expensive city in Austria), ultimately, we felt the room was overpriced for what it offered. Still, for a group of friends, this hostel could be a good enough option.

Ubicado a unos 25 mins a pie del centro. Atención de las chicas de recepción correcta. Ahora bien, las toallas hay que pedirlas en recepción, y en nuestro caso nos hemos tenido que confirmar con una toalla de mano para dos noches, ya que nos les quedaban de ducha... El secador hay que pedirlo también en recepción. En nuestro caso, hemos desistido tras cinco intentos en diferentes ocasiones, imagino que tienen uno o dos para todos los huéspedes... Baño minúsculo tipo caravana y habitaciones con camas individuales. Precio bastante exagerado para lo que realmente ofrecen...

I was happy to be given a sweet maffin at Check-in desk. I was disappointed that there is not enough space for every guests in the refrigerator.

Första vistelsen på hostel

Tog lite tid att checka in trots att vi fyllt i info över nätet innan. Rummet var stort och sängarna helt okej. Stor trädgård där man kunde sitta och njuta om man ville. Bara en kort promenad på 15 min till centrum om man vill gå. Trevlig personal. Vår första vistelse på hostel och det var över förväntan.

Das Hostel ist sauber, das Team nett. Jedoch ist es sehr laut, die Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Ein Ausschlafen ist nicht möglich, jedes Türenknallen ist zu hören. Wifi im Zimmer hat nicht funktioniert.

Relative teure Unterkunft im beengten Mehrbettzimm

Hotel ist ein im Sommer zweckentfremdetes Studentenheim. Im Einzelzimmer wird ein Doppelbett dazugestellt. Wenig Platzbund relativ teuer dafür.

Muy buena relación calidad precio

Un muy buen hostel. Las habitaciones privadas están bien. La ubicación, excelente para el centro histórico. Muy buena relación calidad precio, para quien no tiene problema en estar en un hostel, muy tranquilo. Hay que pedir las toallas en recepción.

잘츠부르크 시내와 가까운 위치 좋고 객실도 안락했으나 와이파이 상태가 너무 안좋아서 좋은 점수를 줄수없다

Good stay at Muffin Hostel

It was a cheap and nice hostel. It is not too far by walk from the castle. We had a great stay there. Even if it is an hostel there is toilet in the room.

전반적으로 좋았습니다

호텔이 아닌 호스텔이라는 점에 유의하시기 바랍니다. 잘츠부르크 중앙역에서 나와 1번 버스를 타고 15분 정도 가서 내려서는 다시 10분 정도 걸으셔야 합니다. 거리가 조금 떨어져 있는 것을 제외하면 전체적으로 만족했고, 층 마다 주방과 조리도구가 갖춰져 있기 때문에 요리를 해서 드실 수 있다는 장점이 있습니다.

Ostello vicino al centro che è raggiungibile a piedi. Accolti con dei Muffin caldi. Wi-Fi solo nella hall (in camera non si prende la connessione). Ampio parcheggio gratuito all'esterno dell'ostello. Nel complesso è ok.

위치가 너무나 나쁨. 찾아가느라 애먹음. 남자와 혼숙이라 아침에 깨서 당황. 객실은 아주 깨끗하고 특히 화장실 최고. 아침식사 없음. 그 남자분과 대화했던건 색다른 경험이었음.

とにかくメインのバス停から遠い

中央駅から15分乗り、バス停から10分以上大きな荷物を持ってあるかなければならず、 場所がわかりづらく大変苦労しました。夜遅くまで出かけると、帰り道が真っ暗なので怖くて歩けません。

Detta är ett ungdomshotell som ser ut som skola. Rummen ser ut som studentlyor. Gemensamt kök i korridoren. Folk glömmer stänga dörren till korridoren när de lagar mat! Hostellet tar inte kort utan betalningen ska vara kontant.

Nette Unterkunft in Stadtnähe

Wenn man sich für ein Hostel entscheidet weiß man, was man erwarten kann. Der Preis ist ok, das Zimmer ausreichend und sauber! Frühstück passt auch. Natürlich nicht mit einem 3Sternehotel zu vergleichen - aber dann bitte kein Hostel buchen. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und bemüht, sprechen aber großteils nur Englisch! Alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft für einen Kurzurlaub in der Stadt

Un orrimo ostello non un albergo.

Se vi aspettate dal Muffin un albergo a quattro stelle, lasciate perdere. E' un ostello studentesco a tutti gli effetti, a mio parere tra i più graziosi in cui sia mai stato. Il personale, tutti giovani studenti, sono simpatici e disponibili. La stanza ha un mobili nuovi tipo ikea ed è pulita. Certo, nel bagno mancano asciugamani, phon e saponette, ma pocp importa, basta organizzarsi. In compenso la struttura è immersa nel verde, l'aria è profumata e si raggiunge il centro di Salisburgo in 5/6 minuti di buon passo attraversando un boschetto. Ripeto, vi troverete bene se non le vostre aspettative non sono eccessive. Poi vedersi circondati da ragazzi di tutto il mondo, giovani, allegri e il più delle volte educati, è sempre un piacere e fa tornare giovani. Consigliato a persone carine senza la puzza sotto il naso.

ザルツブルグの駅からはバス便になります。またバス停からも１０分ほど歩きます。しかし、ホテルの環境、設備、スタッフの対応は、ホステルのなかでもレベルが高いと感じました。シングルの一人部屋に泊まり ましたが部屋も広くて使いやすかったです。長期逗留にいいと思いました。

Ostello per chi sa adattarsi

l'esperienza in generale preferirei non ripeterla. In particolare non ci è piaciuto: * ubicazione scomoda e lontana dal centro * personale freddo e con scarsa conoscenza lingua italiana (quasi nulla) * la struttura pare ricavata (riciclandola) da una scuola. L'aspetto è di un dormitorio/ospedale davvero poco accogliente. * il bagno è costituito da una cella di plastica piccola posizionata all'interno della camera * gli asciugamani sono disponibili solo su richiesta * WiFi con segnale scarso e fruibile solo nella reception * qualità del sonno scarsa sia con riferimento ai letti sia per l'inquinamento acustico provocato dal continuo andirivieni di gente a tutte le ore (e di tutte le nazionalità) manco fosse un porto di mare * impossibile pagamento con carta di credito o bancomat, accettano solo contanti * target consigliati per questa struttura: COMPAGNIE DI RAGAZZOTTI SENZA ALCUNA PRETESA.

Cet établissement n'est pas un hôtel. C'est un bâtiment de chambres universitaires. Lits individuels au lieu de double comme indiqué, aucun service, pas de serviette, ni sèche cheveux, pas de petits déj. Trop cher pour 2 lits, un bureau et une douche en plastique

Achamis o hostel longe do centro turisticos. Encontramos um hotel mais barato e mais próximo do centro. Entretanto a estrutura é boa ,tem estacionamento e é bem limpo.

Great value for money!

The staff was helpful and hospitable! They even provided free BBQ, tea & coffee for the guests. Quite well-organised, spacious in a quiet neighbourhood. I did book with them again in another destination and it was also great!

Billigste overnatning er for dyr til niveauet

Hvis man går efter et billigt alternativ til hotelovernatning i Salzburgs centrum, så skal man vælge Muffin Hostel i gåafstand til centrum. Og med et billigt alternativ bør man ikke forvente et højt niveau. Men kvalitetsniveauet er meget lavere end forventningen, så det koster stadig for mange penge. Bemærk i øvrigt, at man ikke umiddelbart kan betale med kreditkort.

Nothing for princes and princesses..

It was a nice place to stay for a night or two but it is not a normal hotel the way you're expecting it to be. It felt like a students dormitory without the students. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean. The kitchen was a little mess but it's okay. The hostel was quite easy to find. It's not far from the old town but rather far from the central station. One big minus - we didn't get the laundry when we arrived, so we couldn't make any siesta nor take a shower because we were told that we get the towels etc. there. We only got it at night.
