We loved the location and the cabin was lovely and clean. Checking in was difficult as we had to find staff to check in, and had the same issue when checking out. Staff weren't very welcoming, and didnt offer any information about the park or facilities.
Comfortable
Enjoyed our visit to Mt Warning. We appreciated our upgrade. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious. Park was quiet and small.
Big rooms clean and quiet
Beautiful rain forest gardens and excellent modern cabin accommodation. It was great!
Lovely quiet location in close proximity to some great rainforest walks and a few minutes away from Murwillumbah
We loved our weekend here. Short walk to all amenities and the creek which was lovely having small children on our stay.
Great location in the beautiful Mt Warning area.
We had a great stay in one of the newly renovated cottages(we were kindly upgraded ).The cottage was luxurious and well equipped.A beautiful spot! Jenny and Peter
We stayed in one of the fully self contained eco cabins overnight which was great. Would definitely stay again when in the area next time.
No Wi-Fi electric out plugs outside
Perfect little getaway! Relaxed vibe at the foot of Mt Warning, Surrounded by lots of arty farty places and natural wonders to explore. Really helpful hosts to point you in the right direction. Highly recommended! Oh did I mention the creek? It’s divine! The list goes on…. We’ll be back :)
Small, dark, old, tired and not very clean cabin. Great location.
Clean tidy calm environment want to go back again
Beautiful bush caravan park.
WE gt an upgraded cabin and it was clean and new.
Comfortable basic cabin. Very helpful, pleasant manager. Would stay again but hope access to the National Park will soo be permitted, even if the summit is barred.
The Park is situated in a pristine place which is great to relax and unwind. The staff are lovely and the cabin I stayed in was well set out, clean and well equipped. I will definitely be back :)

Loved the location
Location can’t be beat. Close to Mt. Warning track. Very quiet and peaceful, even on a weekend.
Fantastic place for a getaway, beautiful surroundings, very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to our next stay there.
Great position for Mt Warning. Quiet for a relaxed holiday.
No refund policy as my plans had been disrupted, would have been happy to pay cancellation, but I didn't spend a single night there.
Will definitely be back again. The self contained cabins are awesome.
Great tropical place to stay a real paradise quite place just needs a bit more detail on accomadationbut otherwise a great place to stay
Needs updating and Maintained
The rainforest area of Mt Warning was amazing, easy access to closest town. But the overall experience at the Rainforest park was pretty poor. Cabins need a thorough clean, especially bathroom areas & kitchen cupboards. Fridge wasn't working, and only a portable a/c (which was out dated). The stove very out dated, was easier to cook on the outside Bbq. The ceiling fan in Cabin B3 needs maintaining as only has 2 speeds (fast like a noisy propeller, and slow (does nothing). The pool was never maintained while our duration of 3 days, pool very heavy with traffic, and the water was very dirty, where a number of guests made comment. No toilets near the pool, and the pool smelt very heavy of urine. Wi-Fi/phone reception was very poor
Very relaxed atmosphere, not filled with vending machines and coin games for kids which we really appreciated. Loved our stay, will be back!
Very Basic Accommodation considering the tarrif... no AC in my cabin. Web site advertised a "general store" on site.. it was just a corner of the reception office with a drinks fridge, ice cream freezer, another freezer with frozen bread and a few shelves of canned goods. Great rainforest ambiance though.
We had a lovely weekend, sitting around the camp fire at night with family and friends all celebrating my sister's 70th birthday.
General Review
No activities for the kids over the Easter Long Weekend. Office/Shop not open long enough. Beautiful park with the rain forest surrounding it. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Surrounding towns good to visit.
Not too bad although there was no soap in the bathroom and the staff were not available at the time. No proper information on the front door as to hours of availability.
Quiet holiday park
Basix cabin, cobwebs and dead bugs in all rooms, clean linenabd bathroom.
Loved it. We will be back again
Enjoyable few days
My 10 year old and 8 year old grandchildren didn't want to come home. A swimming pool AND a pool table - they were in heaven!
Clean motel in centre of town
Easy check in, fruendly staff and clean room. Reccomended
Pleasant surprise
Having camped at this caravan park 15 years ago I wasn't expecting much. We stayed in a cabin which was reasonably priced given it was Christmas/NY week and were very pleasantly delighted with our cabin which was on it own with a beautiful view, its own BBQ and lots of comfortable outdoor living space. Pool area was great, cabin well equipped and comfortable. Had a great stay.
Lovely quiet retreat at the side of a burbling creek.
Great place to relax and unwind
Great place to relax and unwind in a beautiful natural environment Highly recommend this place Great for families with the games room and pool area
Unclean cabin in desperate need of maintenance
The grounds at the holiday park were nice and well kept. We found the staff were lovely and helpful. The cabin we stayed at was not recently cleaned. The carpet and flooring was dusty around the edges of the rooms, from not being cleaned properly. The cupboards in the bathroom had swollen from moisture and there was mildew on the floor. We had to wash most of the cutlery, plates and cups before we could use them. We were very disappointed by the state of our cabin and would not stay here again.
the cabins need some updating, not very clean
The area is very quiet and relaxing however the cabins need a lot of attention as well as more thorough cleaning
Very relaxing and quiet
Wonderful stay great staff and very private loved listening to the creek running
Nice setting although the receptionist was more interested in talking on the phone than checking me in
Don't expect too much
The welcome we got was not very good, unfriendly and very unprofessional. We weren't in the cabin much but when we're there was no television signal.
Beautiful and peaceful
Service: friendly; great walks, close to beaches and waterfalls and mountains and the tweed river
Facilities: Good; Value: Affordable; Service: Go the extra mile; Cleanliness: Pleasant; has pool, beautiful scenery.
Facilities: Above average; Value: Reasonable; Service: Respectful; Cleanliness: Spotless; Perhaps a little salt and pepper would have been good and matches for the BBQ. Had to buy a packet for ONE match.
Facilities: Home away from home; Value: Great deal; Service: Go the extra mile; Cleanliness: Spotless;

Comfortable.
Cabin was large and clean . Shower was good and hot. Bed was comfortable if a little soft for my taste. Great perhaps for getaway, but lack of WiFi in room, and eateries near by a slight negative, unless that what you’re after. To be fair storm Albert didn’t help, but did underscore whether location good or bad, depends on what you were looking for.
