Tranquil & quite lodge while there. Beautiful outlook from the back porch watching sunset & sunup. They have firepits you can use but it was warmer so didn't have a fire. This lodge is a "stand-alone" away from the main check in area. Make sure you have everything you need before going to your room including, snacks & drinks. I recommend they install some grab bars in the bathtub area for safety of all ages. We had a king size room. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice property for the money, staff is very nice and helpful, would definitely choose this place again.
Layout was great, scenic, staff was helpful and polite
This property was just average. Nothing too special. The hot tub in the room was inoperable and very dirty. The room was not too clean. The bed was leaning down toward the headboard. We ordered some towels for the next day and they were still wet and one had a stain on it. If you are looking for something okay, this is your place. If you are looking for really nice go somewhere else.
Location was very good. It was not far away from a big city, Columbus. It was close to attractions. Easy to find.
No Hot water in the shower
Well…the negatives were no hot water, lamp not working, not really lodge, no food or beverage options, unhelpful staff. Positives cute and quant rooms
Mr. & Mrs. B
Just a simple get a way with my husband, much needed time together.
The views were amazing from the balcony/deck. Location was great with easy access to conveniences while being out of town & truly able to enjoy nature. Room was very quaint & had the necessities but if you are looking for a kitchen, this one only had a microwave, coffee pot & mini fridge.
It was peaceful & quiet
Not great
My room did not have any counter space in bathroom. That made things difficult. Also the shower door was hard to close. And the blind on the window wouldn’t open or close.
3I liked it alot
We loved our stay.
The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating during my stay.
It’s always a joy to visit Mountain Top
amazing view and surrounding area. very quiet and beautiful. will definitely be going back
Great area to visit and room was nice and clean
We stayed in the Lodge away from the main resort. It was quiet and in good condition. It was convenient for both Warm Springs and Pine Mountain
Nice place to stay. Very comfortable. I liked that we received a courtesy call from the office regarding our reservation
Always love coming up here for a weekend getaway. Staff is always helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond to make your stay here pleasant. Overall a great place to stay!!
Beautiful, peaceful, clean
Very quiet, relaxing & clean. I thought a rug would have been nice to wipe feet/shoes. Also, providing an iron & ironing board would have been nice. Over all, we enjoyed our stay!
This place is a gem! Michael and Jessica manage to keep it up and work very hard to make their guests comfortable and happy while there! This is our 4th stay and we wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!
A quiet and lovely area. The room was clean but there were issues with the tub. We were only able to get wifi in the lobby which has limited hours. Also we were surprised that there was no housekeeping service during our stay. Not a bad place but I wouldn't recommend it.
The room was very satisfactory. The access to pool was not made clear in the advertisement. The Lodge was not close to the pool. We would have had to drive to use it so that was disappointing.
Less than pleased
I was surprised when I arrived that the room was not prepaid. There was no attendant after 6:00pm. The wi-fi did not work. I reserved this hotel because it had a pool; the pool was closed for maintenance.
This property definitely needs some updating. It's kept clean though and the scenery surrounding the property is lovely.
This property was wonderful. The bedrooms were clean and easily accessible. The pool has a wonderful Mountain View. The downtown pine mountain area was close with great shops & restaurants. We also went to Calloway Gardens & the Wild Animal Safari while we stayed here and both of those were great as well. We’ll definitely be back to stay here again.
Pleasant . Cramped bathroom. Towels dingy but overall unit very clean.
Staff was vert friendly and welcoming
Very quiet and relaxing it’s great for a getaway weekend. Lots to do in the mountains. We had fun.
Staff was friendly and very helpful
Excellent service scenery and stay
Incredible stay, service and scenery! The minute we met Amina and Dawn’s smiling welcoming faces in the reception we knew it was going to be a blissful stay and it was! A beautiful gem in warm springs and close to a lot of restaurants. Cozy cabin like room.
Nice place with friendly people. Only drawback was that the view pictured with the room didn't match
Lovely stay
Lovely area. Clean room. Friendly staff. The room was a little small, but it was clean and layed out well.
The Mountain Top Inn and Resort sits at the entrance to FDR State Park. Both the Park and the Resort are absolutely stunning! Even my room was unusually beautiful it bringing the feeling of a luxury log cabin which included modern/rustic furniture touches. It was perfect. Also, the owner and management were friendly and committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. I’ll be coming back.
Just a quick getaway for the weekend. Very relaxing trip and very quiet. Made several trips here and absolutely love coming up here. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Awesome job!!
Such a beautiful area and the property is nice and well maintained. Everything was very clean and comfortable.
Two stays… Can’t wait until number three.
This was my second stay at the mountaintop Inn and Lodge. The rooms have a rustic look, and they are totally clean. Linens are bright white, nice and thick. The best thing, however, about the mountaintop Inn and Lodge is the wonderful are always friendly and professional. I’ll be back as soon as possible.
Everything was nice
Wonderful people. Parking is tight by the rooms, but overall I will definitely 👍 stay there on my yearly trips down there.
Wonderful Place... Friendly helpful Employees!
We just returned home from our stay at the Mountain Top Inn and simply can't wait to go back. Honestly, I just made reservations to return in a few weeks and this time, I'll take my brother with me. Everything was outstanding. The room was very clean. Our views of the mountains were beautiful. The towels and sheets were very clean and white. We expecially appreciated the kind people who work there. Special thanks go to Daphne who took her time to tell us about the area including Warm Springs, Callaway Gardens, Roosevelt's Little White House, a nearby hospital and other areas of interest. Daphne checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. Her attention made us feel like VIPs! Many thanks to all of the Mountain Top employees. We will see you again in a few weeks!
A beautiful area! We stayed in one of the lodge rooms. Very nice and helpful check in staff. You do check in at the office then drive to your room but it’s no big deal. I would definitely love to come back in the Spring or Fall when the leaves are changing!
The staff were super sweet and accommodating and the rooms were really nice. I will be staying again.
Nice stay
It was a little confusing getting checked in as check in and the lodge were in separate locations. The jetted tub in the room was out of order and the bath rug looked as if it had been used. It looked like a shoe print on it. Nevertheless, I would stay here again. It was comfortable and the check in clerk was very nice.
The area around the Inn is very beautiful with lovely views, however the Inn needs to renovate the bathroom and replace the refrigerator which made a weird noise all night. Also some weird loud banging sounds were coming from outside throughout the night. Mattress was too hard for my taste. It felt more like camping to me but the price was reasonable for the size of the room. No shower pressure. I was ready to checkout early.
The Mountain Top Inn and Resort is a very nice place to stay and the view out the door was great. We will be going back next year! They could improve upon the cleaning some, the place was great except for the wood floor. It appeared that the person before us had spilled soda or something sticky on the floor. Whatever it was left a mess by the bathroom and sprayed over half the room. I cleaned it up myself since it was late, but I should have to deal with this in a hotel room. The water went out while we were there, but that wasn't the hotel's fault and they quickly moved us to a new room to accommodate the rest of our stay. Overall, we will be going back and staying here again! The little towns that surround the hotel are nice and have several small shops of interest.
Was nothing what I expected. There was nowhere to put your toiletries. Just a bad design for room sink needs a vanity or something sheets had stains all over them very disgusted will not be going back.
This is our third trip to this resort. Friendly and courteous staff. Just a great weekend getaway.
This is a low grade rustic property. Nice people and not expensive but really nothing to brag about.
Mountain top treasure
Beautiful comfortable mountain top inn. Met our expectations. Off the grid so tv and Wi-Fi are spotty. Very very friendly and helpful staff! Totally enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
It was a nice peaceful getaway will be back soon
Clean air and beautiful views in the heart of the Pine Mountains made up for the room imperfections, such as a leaking refrigerator, hot water not so hot, and/or cold and a broken toilet seat. Otherwise the room was quiet and clean, and the personnel was welcoming. The rules for checking into the hotel (only between 4 and 6 pm) were complicated and required that the hotel sent too many email messages.
Mountain Top Treasure!
First time here and we could not be happier! Great room, great view!
Room amenities severely lacking. No drawers for clothes. Bathroom vanity tiny, no surface for toiletries. Water pressure very low, almost unusable for bathroom sink. Very loud bathroom exhaust fan. Poor lighting with none on desk or over food prep area. Only 3 regular coffees for 2 people staying 2 days (had 4 total but 1 was decaf). Outside: Trash can not secured, turned over and scattered in the parking lot both days of our stay (bears?).
I liked the mountains, the log bed and the cleanliness. We needed towels and they were brought to us promptly.
Very average, a little run down.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious. The decor was very nice, beds were comfy and the club chairs were a bonus. Nice place to sit and read rather than in the bed. There was a small microwave and fridge. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the size of the fridge. Not the normal dorm size. I carry my own food when traveling due to food allergies, so having a larger refrigerator was not only convenient it allowed me more time out hiking rather than food shopping. The AC is cold, the warm water is warm-never got hot. They provide a hair dryer, but no iron. The front desk may have one if you ask. I did not. The location is great if you are interested in hiking the state park or visiting Callaway Gardens. We were able to get anywhere needed within a minutes. Less time on the road and more time on the trails. Manage your expectations, it’s not the Ritz, but a good value, great people and clean place to rest your head. They have private rooms and cabins. Highly recommend.
Janet at reception, was helpful before we arrived and after.
We had an excellent stay here. The staff were so friendly and very welcoming. It was very peaceful. It was convenient to Warm Springs and Callaway Gardens. We really enjoyed ourselves.
The staff were friendly, the rooms were not very clean and outdated. There was water damage on casing by door and the room smelled musty.
A quiet, nice with options to go around it.
A really quiet place around it. You can relax and unwind there. A pool available if you like. Rooms are nice but also cabins available with different options depends what is your party size. There are several options to visit around with a less than 20 minutes travel.
Great location, 12 mins from Callaway, super clean and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay. AC is a bit loud, but the window opens and there’s a ceiling fan.
This was one of the more unusual hotels I have stayed at. It is very different than expected based on the pictures. The check in process was fine, and the staff was very pleasant. The lodge building where we stayed , hpewever, was actually about a mile down the road for the reception area and certainly not on a mountain top , although the reception area was. The pool is by the reception area, the wedding chapel and many cabins but as mentioned the hotel lodge was down the street. The room was very clean, but the bathroom toilet was tiny and so low you struggled to stand back up. To reach oir room you walked through a gravel paved tunnel with a large viosible rat trap. The A/C worked well. and the room had a mini fridge and a microwave, that worked. I would not return to this property.
Very nice stay.
The Lodge was very nice and we had a great time. Very peaceful in the mountains. The pool was very nice and so relaxing. I would very much recommend. We will probably go back next year. Anniversary.
I loved how quite it was and peaceful. I would love to stay again
It works be nice if there was some food services of some type
very peaceful and rustic
Beautiful mountain top view! Clean and lovely woodsy cabin resort, neat wedding facility, and friendly staff. This resort was a great place to stay for our weekend getaway and the pool was a huge lagoon at the top of the mountsin overlook. Staff went out of their way to welcome us. Loved everything! We will return!
Me and my huspand thoroughly enjoyed our little get away! The people were supper nice! Everything was perfect! Thank you!
A bit dated but quiet with beautiful views.
Nice place - but….
It’s nice, but we weren’t given a room to accommodate my wife’s medical condition! While the manager was nice, and regretted to error, the fact is we are still out $175.00 the cost of the room… it’s sucks losing money while trying to patronize an establishment! I truly feel the right thing to do is give a partial refund for THEIR - ERROR! All the apologies mean nothing to my wallet, I’m NOT baton’ on anyone - just being factual, the property is nice, our room was big, we specifically told them we NEEDED A WALK-IN SHOWER, we got a tub w/ a rather high threshold! Staff nice, propert nice, but NOT truly resolved our issue! Wes re still out $175.00 and I guess I’m annoyed because we paid & she could get a shower!
The only problem I had was that the tv kept freezing up when I was watching it. Also had a hard time locking the door from the outside. Might need to change the lock.
The property is very dated! Old heart shaped jacuzzi tub in the room that was out of order and hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. TV signal would cut out every 2 minutes. WI-FI didn’t work at all. I won’t be back.
Nice and clean property
Nice place. Bathroom had strong urine odor hair on floor. Everything else was great. Will go back. Quiet. Loud children in unit above us. Would be an issue at night. Walls thin. Not a deal breaker for me.
This resort was a great stay! We stayed in one of the cabin suites, and it was the perfect size for our stay. Great air conditioning, comfy bed, little kitchen area, and TV cable. The only thing that I didn't like about this resort was I wish there was some kind of breakfast spot nearby. Otherwise, really enjoyed our stay!
beautiful grounds
Quite and peaceful
Lodging in the woods!
Great location to visit Callaway Garden, State Park, and the Little White House. Rustic but comfortable!
Property was a bit dated and could use some repair. The room was clean though, and the view was very nice. Pretty much what you should expect for the price.
views were beautiful
They left us the wrong key, no map or access to a room for a late checkin. Drove 8 hours to stay in my wife’s home town we are trying now to find a bed somewhere. Totally upset that this has happened.
Anniversary delight!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much . It was a great location to celebrate our anniversary!
Alot of bumblebees but a beautiful view of mountains. Very quiet and deer came to visit in the backyard at night. Room was clean and very nice. Great staff. Very friendly.
Mountain cabin
If you want a primitive cabinlike room on mountain top this is for you. Clean and isolated...no restaurants or food stores around. Downside is you need to check in before 6 pm... inconvenient. View was through doors with clouded windows.
Beautiful scenery. Very comfy room. Friendly office staff. Reasonably priced.
There was no cafe or restaurant nearby. The resort would be perfect if it had this!
The place was clean, and the room was functional. However, it would have been much better if the WiFi was more reliable, there was a dresser for clothes, the bathroom had a counter for your stuff, and the TV was bigger.
Loved the area. Loved the room. Enjoyed Warm Springs and Pine Mountain dining!!!!! Only negative experience was the dish connection with the TV. Continued to pause and wait on connection. Couldn’t really watch a program in it’s entirety
Great place to stay! Staff super friendly and helpful. Only complaint is I could not stay longer!! Bring your hiking shoes and a camera. Thank you again to the staff.
I Love the rooms and scenary.
I have stayed in the lodge area previously and this stay was at the inn. The room was immaculate. I was very pleased. It’s a great spot!
Che ck in & out was quick & easy. Room was small but did not feel crowded. Bed was nice & firm but pillows were small & way too soft. No head/neck support. Enjoyed our one night stay & would stay again
My son is graduating from Warm Springs so we decided to stay here for the one night before his graduation. I was very excited to book a room with a view thru Expedia. We received an email, the day we arrived that said the reservation had been “modified “ No big deal since the weather was foggy. Nothing else to do so the 3 of us settled in to watch TV. After over 2 hours we Gave up. If we could get a channel to come in, there was no sound. If we got a channel with sound it would freeze up. Not good when the weather is terrible and their is a possibility of severe weather. The room we were given was in the “lower level” aka basement of the building. The place was deserted. This morning, ours was the only car in the parking lot. Why couldn’t they give us one of the many empty rooms on the upper level, where, this morning, we would have had a view. When we went to go to bed last night, we had to brush the sand, or crumbs perhaps, off the sheets. (Why weren’t the sheets changed before our stay?)The room was much smaller than pictured on the website. I could go on but why bother. I am very disappointed. We expected much better based on their advertising on billboards and the website.
Stay was nice, need to have have room service check room for towels and trash each day.
We arrived tonight. Box was easy to find. Only thing is that i booked it on expedia and i didnt see anywhere that it was a resort. I had to sign a long contract and give them my credit card and license and they took a $100 deposit in addition to the room costs. I would probably not have booked it if i had known. We are staying 1 night. Cant wait to see it in the morning light.
I really like the theme of the room.. log cabin style!
Cute clean lovely views
Mountain Top Inn and Resort | Hotel in Warm Springs | Travala.com
view was wonderful...room very small...resort? no bar, no music, food 20 miles away...no instructions on how to use TV.
