I love staying there

Great place to stay for as long as you have to.

it was nice fees were not told on app but overall a good place

They required a $100 deposit for the nonsmoking room so come prepared

Rooms are newly renovated and staff are amazingly friendly BUT people staying there will be drinking and playing laud music till past 1am out on the parking lot which makes it very unsafe them trying to fight anybody and everyone and you won’t be able to sleep at all plus every morning you risking being challenged to a fight by those crazy people who’s till drunk af nice place horrible environment

I like the easy access and the rates. The room floor is so nasty you could walk across it your feet will turn black. Check out time is at 11:00 a.m. but I was still sleeping at 8:00 a.m. and housekeeping walk by and unlocked and opened my door and left it cracked. It startled me. Luckily you don't do that to someone that's carrying a firearm and going through a lot of problems.

I was very impressed with this property. It was clean, very convenient to everything and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly. I was traveling alone and felt very safe. If you are looking for a clean, budget friendly, hotel then this is your place.

Much better than expected

I know for some people, including myself, Motel means something less nice than Hotel. I was looking for a comfortable night's sleep in a decent hotel room and would have probably skipped past the Motel 6, but I saw it had really high ratings and the pictures looked as nice as the other Hotels around and were about the same price. It turned out to be really great. My only complaint was there's no coffee in the room, but I ran into the same thing in Waco the next evening at a Hotel. I highly recommend this place.

Not bad

It was quiet, comfortable. Clean restroom and sheets. Not sure carpet was vacuumed. There were some hair ties on the floor. Price was reasonable.. Did wish there was a small coffee pot in the room. Nice to have a fridge and microwave and plenty of ashtrays though. 1 extra blanket too, it got a little chilly in the night… Over all it was a nice stay!

Very clean!

We booked 6 months ago and yet we were given a handicap room. A little weird. No toiletries given as a courtesy, but they were available for purchase for $1.00 from a vending machine. Not convenient when it wasn't in reservation information. Staff was ok on friendliness, but we you are from Georgia you expect southern hospitality.

I have to say I was surprised how clean and neat the room was. I had the king bed deluxe room. I expected a lot less for the price. I will stay there again. I would like to see the stairs repaired. They definitely left the light on.

Not Your Concern

This hotel was booked for a business trip. The hotel charges a $100 deposit on all 3rd party bookings... This is Motel 6, not the Ritz... Our employee was checking in, she called me to verify the room info. She was told there was a $100 deposit.... While on the phone I asked why? The hotel employee informed me that "it is not your concern"... I bet to differ.

For a motel I was expecting it to be okay overall. But it wasn’t. The staff was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. We arrived early and was given a room right away. The room was neat and clean and we had a wonderful stay. I recommend this motel over the fancy hotels any day.

This place is nasty, non-smoking room smells like smoke. Clean feet walking on the carpet (which feels moist and sticky) and in a few minutes and the bottom of my feet are black! And the AC unit is set on a timer where it shuts off and has no control of the room temperature (its smoldering). The water in the bathroom doesnt get cold at all so theres no respite from the heat! The pillows and bed are hard (Also not a huge deal but no complimentary single use shampoo and/or conditioner.) Overall do not recommend 🙅‍♀️ i do not usually leave reviews but this place is so bad. Would only stay here again if pushed to desperation.

Great staff Clean updated room

The hotel will require $100 deposit which is posted to the credit card. Then the hotel staff inspect the room before departure in order to receive the deposit back. Never experienced anything like this and didn’t appreciate this treatment.

Enjoyed my one night stay. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and check-in was quick. When we walked into the room, you could smell that the room had been recently cleaned, and the room amd the bathroom were very clean. There were plenty of outlets around the room and by the bed to charge whatever electronics you had. Not a lot of extra amenities but we were just look for a good, safe place to sleep. There was no extra noise during the night. There was no breakfast bar, but again, we wouldn't have used it anyway. There is also a small pool. Motel is also closed to a lot of important businesses. If we ever come through Tyler again, would definitely stay there again.

There wasn't any hot water, the tv didn't work well and the people next door were yelling and talking extremely loud. There is no coffee pot or coffee in the room.

Great room at a great price. Comfortable beds and clean rooms and property.

I called ahead to let them know I would be arriving near midnight. When I got there, the staff was happy to help me get set up. I misplaced my card the next day, and they helped me get a replacement quickly. The staff was polite and quick to get me taken care of. The room had a couch, a desk and chair, a small table, a television, and three clothes drawers of varying sizes. After a flight and a good night's rest on the bed, I was up and ready to take on the day. It isn't anything ritzy, but if all you need is a place to sleep and plan the day in the morning, it'll do the job. The property is also conveniently within walking distance to a car rental place, so if you need to rent a vehicle the next day, as in my case, it's in the perfect spot!

Morel 6 has always been “bare bones,” no shampoo or conditioner, no in room coffee, no breakfast, etc. which is great for a bare bones price. This particular Motel 6 is overpriced and yet keeps the bare bones accoutrements. You get more for the same price elsewhere.

Very well maintained properly. A little disappointed with being bothered so early to housekeeping everyday. If they could accommodate those out of state in regards to their time would be nice and not continue to knock or call with housekeeping. Also if they could have DO NO DISTURB door hanging or signage would be nice. Especially when you have pets with you.

When I checked in they tried to charge me a $100 cash deposit for a non smoking room. This was not something I was made aware of beforehand. The room was fairly clean however it smelled like smoke as soon as I walked in the room and the floor was sticky feeling. But the air conditioner worked great.

Good Choice for Price

Not a super fancy hotel but clean! We were only needing a place to sleep and shower close to our destination. This fit the bill. Staff was friendly. Prices were reasonable. A good choice and I will def stay here again.

I was very dissatisfied and disappointed. First time using Motel 6. It’ll be also the last time. Our room was full of bugs. Towels were semi-clean. No shampoo provided. And finally, the check-out time is early, at 11am. I asked for late check-out for 1pm and my request was denied. I guess you get what you pay for.

You can tell the owners and staff take pride in their property. I stayed 3 nights here to complete a course and exam. Quiet, good wifi, very clean and had everything I needed. Couldn't hear people or the TV of the next room. Sounded like I had the place to myself even though it was packed one night. Super clean pool too. Overall great place.

Only had to stay there briefly for a 10 hour lay over. The room served it’s purpose.

Nice place/Bring Shower Mats!!!!

It was a nice place but the mattress was too soft for us. We are used to a firmer mattress but that's life when you spend a night at a hotel. Also the floor in the bathroom became VERY SLIPPERY once we turned the shower on. We ended up having to use a Towel on the floor to keep from Slipping and Falling. Management/Peter was VERY Nice and understood when we advised him of our grievances. Other than that it was a nice stay. NO Breakfast was served the morning we left. That was another grievance we faced but we remedied that.

We stayed here in Sept. of 2020., and it was like new then. This place is well cared for. The room is a good size and very clean, nice bed. The best Motel 6, we've ever stayed at.

Pleasant Surprise

Our stay here was wonderful! Mr. Peter was very helpful when we had to add an additional room to our stay the day before our trip. The rooms were a little small, but very clean. Then when I checked out Sunday morning, Mr. Peter greeted me by name, even though we had only spoken over the phone and at check-in. You don't see service like this very often anymore. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Tyler.

Great place but rude residents

Comfortable but there seemed to be 8 or so loud laughing Spanish speaking people's in the lot outsider my window till late at night. Had to keep the fan turned up on air conditioner to vlocke the noise and even then sometimes I heard them clearly

This was the best Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed in. Super clean, comfy bed, looks like newly remodeled. Fantastic price for such a nice room. Way nicer than several I’ve stayed in at a higher price. This is definitely the place we will come to when in town!

Due to unforeseen circumstances we wound up making last minute reservations. The individuals on duty were extremely kind, courteous, and helpful. The room was more than we expected for such a low price! We'll be back.

Very clean - inside the room and the grounds. Bed was very comfy, excellent pillows. Will definitely suggest this Motel 6 and if needed will stay here again.

A few of the pet rooms smelled of animal urine but sometimes that is expected. Our furry family members and human ones were comfortable during a hurricane evacuation.

Manager was rude when I was asking questions.... When I got in the room it smelled terrible.... There was a dirty used rag hanging on the shower n a dirty hand towel on sink.... I do not believe the rooms get cleaned at all.... Just straighten up.... Most hotels u can smell the cleanliness this room stunk bad.... We left at 2am n just said forget the money.... they need to be making sure there cleaning staff is doin there job.... I think they really don’t care... Will not go back....

This the second time I have stayed here and will stay here again. The owner checked me in and was very pleasant.

I was taking a motorcycle safety course in Tyler. Not being familiar with the area I wanted something close. Motel 6 is right across the street! The room was spotless, bed comfortable, and A/C top notch. Everything I needed. Highly recommend.

Best Motel 6 ever

This was the best Motel 6 I have every stayed at. The beds are nicer than hotels that cost $$$$ a night.

It was ok.

It was highly over priced for what it was. The room was tiny, there was a roach crawling on the wall, there was a ponytail elastic on the floor, had to get someone to come to room to get tv to work with a seperate remote, people were hanging around in the parking lot, the shower chair provided was too big to fit properly in tub. Furniture was in decent condition, beds were comfortable, convenient location, rooms seem well insulated (couldn't hear any neighbor noises or doors slamming). Will definitely try a different establishment next time.

Lots of cameras for safety, its quiet, rooms are clean.. if you have to stay at a motel this is the one to go to!

First off this is a very nice place to stay. Friendly and pleasant staff and management. Clean , very clean rooms rooms and grounds. I spent 3 nights here 5/18 thru 5/21 2020. Whenever I visit family in TYLER this is where I will stay.

Very surprised

The room was really.nice and the guy at the office was helpful with extra pil lo ows and towels. The phone didnt work. I told the guy in the office but he didnt do anything about it. Also, didnt know they only had a coffee bar till we.for there. The evening guy told me that it would be available 24hrs as we were going to be getting up super early. The next morning, when i got up to go get coffee, there was none and that guy said 630 (it was 515). So i had to make a mad dash to a convenience store to buy coffee. Also, this hotel iss not as.close to restaurants as it claims.

Horrible could find Reservation didn’t stay there at all

After 1000 miles we arrived in Tyler a few hours earlier than we thought. The management allowed us to access our reserved room a few hours earlier than stated. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. The entire facility was clean and pleasant to be a part of. The room was very clean and well taken care of. We would highly recommend this Motel 6 to anyone staying in Tyler Texas.

We were told ut had a walk,in tub for our mother because she cant get into a reular,bath but,it had a regular,bath with hand rails and we were very specific about it
