Amazing service and too notch food

The staff here are amazing. They are super friendly and gave us a hug as we left as we loved them so much! The food is Thai and one of the tastier on the trip. Breakfast is simple but served with love and great coffee. This is a must stop on your trip

Koh Mook

We stayed for 3 nights in February. The manager/owner Tid was a wonderful friendly funny man full of advise and ideas. He made you feel part of the family group. The Emerald cave is a must, see Tid and he'll organise it for you.

Lovely Hotel. Amazing Staff, Superb service

We have just had four wonderful nights here. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. Thank you each and everyone of you. Service and food are superb. The only thing we didn’t like was the dogs which hung around the grounds and around the restaurant during meal times. Having said that, I wouldn’t hesitate to return here if you ever come back to. A wonderful stay at mook lamai. The property’s best feature is by far is amazing staff, who go out of their way to help you. Lovely pool and comfortable rooms too! Highly recommend.

Amazing!

This is definitely the place to be! Even though the hotel is not located at the beach, we liked the place for all it offers: good breakfast (à la carte), nice and clean rooms, swimming pool, awesome staff, shuttle service every day from 7 to 7, bicycle to use, organization of tours, roof top bar... The hotel is close to the village, there are a lot of restaurants around (the hotel restaurant is good as well!) and the beach (both sunset and sunrise beach) can be reached by walking, bike oder shuttle-service from the hotel. Ted the hotel manager is always available and really attentive.

Super friendly staff Tuk tuk Service around the island which is great eg to go to the beach. Big room/ bungalow which was very refreshing thanks to stone walls and aircon. Great shower

Very nice

A nice hotel to stay in Ko Mook. A bit far from the beaches but the free taxi service makes up for it. The service is phenomenal.

We had a great stay here - staff very lovely and accommodating. We were upgraded to a pool side room at no extra charge on arrival. Good shuttle service to beaches and pier. If you're looking for a quiet Thai island stay in low season this fits the bill - would highly recommend.

Amazing Staff, perfect location, peace

The hotel is perfectly situated between Charlie's Beach and the town. The ground are very well maintained. Rooms are spotless. Pool is nice. If you ask me, the staff makes the hotel. Amazing staff and manager:Nice, helpful, polite...and did i say helpful? The manager (Tit is his name...or i think it sounds like "tit") is the nicest person and will go ways to help you out. Prices are more than fair. If you are reading this review "big Tit", thank you for everything...you're the man.

awesome. best hotel on the whole trip

Staff, especially the manager is awesome. They offer free taxi and bikes all day around. Fresh clean rooms, good pool, good returarant. All was perfect.

Cozy and friendly retreat.

The staff are exceptional. We received a very warm welcome and whatever assistance we needed during our visit. The restaurant was great with warm service. The owner Tid treated guests like family which made the small resort feel very homey. Great pool, very clean. Bed and pillows comfy. They provide bicycles and transport to pier and beach free of charge. Tid also arranged high speed ferry to Koh Lanta for us and pickup at ferry. We would highly recommend Mool Lamai.

Great stay. Small hotel in the middle of Koh Mook. Decent rooms, nice pool and beautiful gardens. Breakfast ok, but pretty standard. Food from the a la Carta menu for lunch and dinner is of high quality and really taste. Really nice and informative straff. The hotels offer a free Daily outgoing taxi to anywhere on the Island - very nice! The return is 50 baht/person from anywhere on Mook. There’s a great pizzaria across the street and a large supermarket around the corner. The hotel is a pleasant 10 min walk from the small city centre. We’ll be back:)

Great stay!

Great stay - must be one of the nicest resorts in Koh Mook. Nice, spacious rooms with all the amenities you really need. Utid the manager will go out of his way to help you in any way he can. Great location on the island with walking distance to restaurants and short taxi ride to Charlie beach. Would definitely stay again.

A fuir. BEDBUGS

3 nuits dans cet hôtel. La première, nous avons eu une chambre avec une très forte odeur de produit chimique. J’ai compris par la suite qu’il s’agissait d’insecticide, que le personnel diffuse à volonté dans le but d’exterminer les punaises de lit. Ça a juste exterminé mes poumons et ma gorge. Nous avons eu une autre chambre, et cette fois ci j’ai été dévorée par les punaises de lit. La gérante est d’une mauvaise foi incroyable, accusant des mouches de sables. Les mouches de sable ne piquent pas la nuit, sous les draps. La chambre a été vaporisée à grand renfort de Raid insecticide, très toxique pour l’humain mais pas pour les bedbugs. Le staff, très gentil, m’a donné une pommade et m’a affirmé que j’aurais un dédommagement. C’est sans compter sur la gérante qui voit les dollars avant les gens, et nie catégoriquement les faits, alors que le personnel est parfaitement au courant. Forcément c’est plus facile de faire passer les clients pour des hystériques. Cet hôtel ne mérite pas ses étoiles. C’est une auberge de jeunesse déguisée, ni plus ni moins : trous dans les draps, oreillers crasseux, taches sur les serviettes et tissus tu mobilier. En somme le pire hôtel que j’ai pu avoir en dix ans d’allers retours en Thaïlande. Je suis toujours très choquée par le comportement de la gérante, les punaises de lit sont un problème de santé publique, et ça peut causer de sérieux dégâts pour des personnes allergiques comme moi. Jouer avec la santé des gens est un jeu dangereux.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mook Lamai. The hotel is really nice and everything looks exactly like the pictures on the websites. The owner and the staff are really pleasant and give us good tour recommendations. Koh Mook is an quiet not really touristic island, that’s what you should now, if you want to go there. Flott resort med flott basseng og fin restaurant med hyggelig betjening. Gratis hente og bringetjeneste.

Wij zijn 3 nachten geweest. Lamai is een goed verzorgd resort. De kamers zijn uitstekend. Ontbijt was goed. Wij hadden een kamer aan het zwembad. Personeel en manager zijn een luisterend oor. Alleen savonds Na 22 uur is het wat Rustig op koh muk.

Perfect located in between Charlie Beach and center of the village. Extremely friendly and helpful staff who did everything to make you feel welcome and appreciated. Good food and free taxi service. We would definitely go back!!

Helt ok frukost men lite dåligt utval och det är inte buffé så man beställer vid bordet. Bra restaurang trevlig personal. Liten och trevlig resort med bra rum. De har även egna tuck-tuck som skjutsar dit man vill gratis samt cyklar för utlåning

Ett fantastiskt boende med allt vad du kan önska

Ett fantastiskt boende med fina rum och en personal som alltid fixade för oss. Vi lånade cyklar och tog oss runt på ön och när vi skulle någonstans körde de alltid oss. Åker vi hit igen kommer vi bo på detta hotellet.

Ganz toll geführtes kleines Ressort. Nicht direkt am Strand aber trotzdem zentral gelegen. Sehr saubere Zimmer und extrem freundliches Personal. Restaurant für Frühstück und Abendessen absolut zu Empfehlen.

Majoituimme viisi yötä. Omistajat erittäin ystävällisiä. Ilmaiset kyydit ilta 19 asti mopotaksilla minne vain saarta. Siisti resortti, aamupala valittiin listalta. Kävelymatkan päässä kylän keskusta, jossa ruokapaikkoja ja marketteja. Marketti myös vastapäätä resorttia. Kokonaisuutena erittäin hyvä hintalaatisuhteeseen nähden. Ei valittamista.

Allt helt perfekt. Vänlig personal som fixar det man vill. Gratis taxi och man får låna gratis cyklar. God mat på hotellet till bra pris. Återkommer gärna igen.

Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Un service de taxi gratuit pendant la totalité du séjour. Une petite douceur (cake chocolat, muffins banane..) offerte toutes les après-midi (laissée dans la chambre). Nous avons adoré ces petites attentions. Des vélos gratuits sont également à disposition. Ceci fut très pratique pour le déplacement sur l'île vu qu'elle est petite. Le petit déjeuner est cuisiné avec beaucoup d'amour et c'est très bon (surtout les pancakes). Je recommande vivement cet hôtel qui vaut le détour. Vous y êtes accueilli comme un membre de la famille. Nous avions les larmes aux yeux en quittant l'hôtel ainsi que l'île de manière générale.

Sehr Gut........aber nicht überall

Die guten Bewertungen sind durchaus berechtigt, wenngleich man für den Preis durchaus auch etwas mehr erwarten kann. Die Zimmer sind gerade ausreichend groß, wobei die Klimaanlage bei jeder Einstellung unwillkürlich in Richtung Bett bläst. Kritik will ich auch an der geringen Höhe der Toilette äußern, deren Toilettensitz billigste Qualität aus dem Baumarkt sein dürfte. Für den Preis des Hotels könnte man durchaus etwas mehr/bessere Ausstattung erwarten. Dennoch sehr sauber, essen und Massage gut und die Hotelleitung tipptopp.

Super Anlage mit super Service

Super Anlage, super Service, auch Hotelfremde dürfen die Anlage mitbenutzen.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereits Personal. Der Pool ist groß und lädt zum entspannen ein. In das Zentrum läuft man etwa 5-10 Minuten. Zum Charlie Beach sind es ca. 5 Minuten mit dem kostenlosen Taxi vom Hotel.

Mysigt med lite djungelkänsla

Fint hotell en bit från stränderna. 15-30 min promenad annars skjuts med hotellets taxi. Mysig miljö och god mat.

Great place, book no other!

This was an incredible place, we felt very welcome from the minute we arrived. The host was every day from moning until evening around helping his guests with everything from arranging trips on the island to giving you a ride with their taxi-motorbikes wherever you wanted to go. He even made all the arrangements for us how to travel to our next destination in the most convenient way. I give him and all his friendly staff five stars! Must be the best hotel on the island with the biggest amazing pool. Don't miss this!

Großartig!

Das war während unseres Thailand Urlaubs der beste Aufenthalt :) Das Zimmer war ein Traum, Essen sehr gut und die Betreuung hervorragend. Es gibt einen gratis Taxiservice zu den Stränden und zum Pier, sowie auch gratis Leihräder - wir sind mit denen überall gut hingekommen, die Insel ja nicht ganz so groß. Der Hotelmanager ist uns sehr ans Herz gewachsen, hat sich um alle Gäste liebevoll gekümmert und hat mit uns sogar einen Sonderausflug gemacht um das Meeresleuchten zu erleben - das werden wir nie vergessen! Ein perfekter Aufenthalt, wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Jättefint hotell, vi hade rum med poolacces. Rena, fräscha rum. Jättegod och bra frukost. Vi åt även bra lunch här som var prisvärd och bra. Hotellet ställer upp med gratis skjuts till stranden eller om man vill åka till en restaurang. Personalen och managern var otroligt serviceminded och välkomnade oss med info om ön, hotellet mm. Kommer bo här igen om jag återvänder. Kan varm rekommendera detta hotell med personal!

Abgelegen aber gut.

Kleines, familiäres Hotel etwas abgelegen, aber auf der kleinen Insel ist das nicht schlimm. Gratis shuttle zu den Stränden, Minimarkt direkt gegenüber.

Sehr schönes familiengeführtes Resort

Das Mook Lamai Resort und Spa ist ein sehr schönes , kleines Resort auf Der schönen Insel Koh Mook. Bungalows sind sehr modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Toller Pool und sehr leckeres Restaurant, tolle Massage. Vielen Dank an Tid für die Organisation der Ausflüge und unserer Weiterreise. Sehr familiär und freundliche Atmosphäre.. unsere Tochter liebte die Katzenfamilie und hat nun das Miauen gelernt ;-)

Meilleur hôtel de l'île ..

Le personnel au tooop hyper gentil ils prennent soins de nous on est comme à la maison. Très serviable et font tout pr que le séjour soit agréable. Nous avons trooooop aimé. La nourriture je vous en parle même pas .. une dinguerie Franchement tout était bien je n'ai aucune critique négative à faire Merci à eux !!! On était dégoûté de partir.
