Good enough

Walk distance to train station, but no close to shops etc.

This is NOT a luxury hotel. That said, it worked well for us mostly due to the location but also friendly staff and it was quiet.

It is a very convenient, efficient stay. My room was very simple and clean, and one of the largest European rooms I have ever stayed in. I didn’t use the kitchenette, but for a longer stay, it would have been great. The area is not fancy—it is working-class-immigrant, but I felt perfectly safe.

Not good

Hotel was not good. Not for a business stay. All are broken and breakfast was also not good

Disgusting

What hotel thinks it's acceptable for its guests to smell feces all night? This one! My room smelled like poop. Literally like poop. The smell hit me as soon as I opened the door. I opened the window to try to air out the room, but the smell never subsided. The property itself is quite dilapated. I've never stayed in such a disgusting place. I couldn't wait to leave. I honestly felt tricked. I don't even know what kind of person would want to stay here. Whoever runs this place doesn't belong in the hospitality industry.

Comfortable and convenient hotel

Rooms and facilities were great. Nice people at the reception The only suggestion that i would make would be to have a machine to buy laundry soap where the washing machine and dryer are. Otherwise really enjoyed my stay and returned after my week in a rural are

Convenient to go to the airport

Well located near the street car going to the airport. Had an apartment with 2 rooms and kitchen. Lots of space, quiet area, near the train stn.

Reasonable place

Looking over the school is very loud all day. They should provide plastic pages for the garbage . It is a good location close to the train station stores and transportation.

Convenient Stay

Stayed at Montempo just to be close by Part Dieu for a train connection the following day. We had a really good stay and I'd recommend it for anyone else wanting close access to the train station and connections into Lyon on the Metro.

Basic accommodation.kitxhenette has few utensils but as far as a hotel room, it has everything you need. Good sized room, a/c works well. Internet not as private as onw would want but signal strong.

Clean and comfortable. Location is slightly inconvenient but walkable from the train station.

Convenient location near the railway and shopping centre. Our unit was fine for 2 people. All of the fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen worked well. The kitchen was sparsely equipped - no salt or cooking oil in the cupboard, the utensils were cheap ikea pieces. Still, it was a good value. The only real negative was it smelled of stale cigarette smoke.

Central location for travelers quiet good value.

Good sized room, bathroom a bit small, enough basic equipment for a few days stay, cleanliness of a good standard. No overhead lighting in the main area so a bit dark in the evening. I found the internet rather annoying having to reconnect every time I’d closed my iPad cover even if only for a few minutes. Near the train station so convenient for traveling.

Basically a youth hotel. Once we got in, after problems with their system of entry, it was actually fine, basic but clean. Parking impossible with anything larger than the smallest sedan. Thankfully we found a spot on the street to park.

Good value for money

No frills but all you need. Bed was a bit fragile and low, some of the furnishings showing their age. But microwave and fridge worked well, good shower and everything you need at a good price. Wifi too feeble to use for anything useful though.

Well appointed mini-suite work small kitchenette, close to train station and affordable

A fairly basic comfortable and clean apartment near the main station. A bit out of the city centre but about a 20- 30 minute pleasant walk .

Near train station, was ok

It was ok. Likely a converted studio apt, so it was spacious and had little kitchen. The place overall seemed a bit run down, and the area did not have much to do nearby. Location to train station was great, which was my main reason for going here, but felt like was a bit expensive for what I was looking for.

Pleasantly surprised

Was pleasantly surprised at the excellent room and service for the price. Also the receptionist helped us make a reservation, which was very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Good location. Staff OK. Bit disappointed no kettle or complimentary tea/coffee. Only one curtain in the main window.

Good value for money in a nice location

Check-in was friendly and efficient. These serviced apartments are like new, very clean and functional despite few issues: no decently sized coffee cups, no boiler, minimum crockery, window curtains are way too narrow, making it impossible to avoid getting strong street light in at night. Noise insulation could be better on road side. SHower area is too small. However I would still and definitely recommend this place.

Small studio, good value for money

Nice room for family

We are from family of 4 and we really enjoy the room. Walking distance from the TGV station ard 5-6 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful!. Room is clean and we sleep very well. HIghly recommend.

Overnight stay

No problems - good enough for overnight and longer stay. No room key - just code, small kitchenette at my room (don't know about others). Extremely fast and convenient check-in/out procedures.

Budget Hotel Near the Train Station

Stayed one night and had an early flight the next morning. The hotel is clean but no frills. Rooms are small but functional. Hotel is just bit run down.

A decent, inexpensive stay right near Gare de Lyon

A perfectly serviceable place for a short overnight stay. Room the size of a postage stamp, so I'm glad I didn't plan to spend much time here. I got exactly what I expected for the price.

Ideal hotel for getting in and out of the airport

Hotel was great was checked in early which was great for me! Quiet not disturbed at all.

Not bad, wouldnt stay longer than a night.

One night stay. Great proximity to the main station, why I chose this in the first place. Clean enough, not the most comfortable bed. Bathrooms are new and great, however problem with plumbing had to keep stopping and starting the shower to avoid flooding the place! Being on business, wifi is pretty important but the connection was SO slow. Gave up half way from frustration.

Basic clean studio flat. Appliances in kitchen old and in need of upgrade. The bathrooms were being upgraded in the hotel which generated slot of noise (most of which happened early in the morning - just bad planning on the hotels part). I mentioned it to staff who's response was that it should be better tomorrow!

Everything was fine and nice, but the hotel has a horrible wifi signal. It is really neat from the train station and I can found many beautiful places to visit near the hotel

Good for business person up and out early.

I was delighted to learn that I had been upgraded to a much larger room than was reserved for me. It was comfortable and looked exactly like the photos. I'm glad I was there over a weekend. The window looked out on a playground of what appeared to be a school. Monday morning was an abrupt wake up to very loud and shrill children's voices.

There was only half of the curtain!

The room was nice except that it only had half of the curtain on the window. Simple hotel. Nice price.

No wifi

Room was OK for the price but wifi was down the whole time I was there.

5 minutes walk from La Part-Dieu train station

the front desk person was friendly. No hassle to register and check out.

Super convenient

Well positioned. Good kitchenette and nice and quiet. Shower was a bit rubbish though as you had to handhold it.

We had a wonderful, spacious room. We just stayed for a night, but made use of the kitchen (including pots, pans, traditional coffee-maker, and dishes). They only offered instant coffee even though they had a drip-coffee machine that needed coffee grounds, so that was odd. Also, the bed/desk area was a little dark since there was no overhead light. The TV was large but we didn't use it. The view was of the courtyard, which is the play area of a preschool, so it's fine - not picturesque. The location was super nice, being so close to the bus/train station. But if we stayed longer, we would've preferred a place much closer to the river and the actual city. The staff was courteous and quick. The price was very reasonable. The only thing was the listing mentioned an airport shuttle, but the hotel does not offer one!

Convenient for Lyon Part Dieu

A perfectly reasonable stopover that is convenient for the mainline station at Lyon Part Dieu. Good value for money.

Nice inexpensive accomdation close to Part Dieu

This was a nice budget hotel in Lyon. We enjoyed our stay here.

Close to the station, clean and comfortable

Only stayed here for a night en route to Paris. Was looking for a hotel close to the train station, and this hotel certainly delivered. The room was comfortable and had a little kitchenette which we didn't use as we were only there for one night, but for more nights this would have been great. The shower is a shower over a bath with only a handheld shower head which was annoying.

I will stay in this hotel again

Beautiful Lyon-Fantastic People

Stayed 7 days. We found helpful people at reception. this was a very quiet hotel which gives you undisturbed sleeps. Very close to Train Station and Metro as well as to the Commercial Centre. really enjoyed discovering the old Lyon as well as the new areas of the city. Made good use of the 3 day Lyon Card.

Great location, poor wifi

The location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk to Lyon Part-Deiu train station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable with decent bathroom facilities and kitchenette. Room had aircon which was amazing! There is also a laundry available to do washing. The only negetive was the poor quality of the wifi. Would recommend though and would stay again

basic apartments - nice for short stay

basic apartments, with the standard equipment but lacking a lot of other things like high speed internet (free but very slow). Looks more like a retirement house than an hotel with apartments. It is quite affordable though so nice for no no more than a couple of days. Nothing much around except Part-Dieu shopping centre and train station.

Good Stay

Walking Distance to Part Dieu Railroad station, trams and buses; In the residential neighborhood otherwise; Overall convenient; If you get a room facing the backyard, you might be awakened by young schoolchildren playing at the playground at 8 am or earlier -quite loud and no way to isolate the noise.

Football Trip

Stayed here for 1 night during the European Championships, the Hotel is only a 5 minute walk away the main Train Station in Lyon and shopping centre and is also a 20 minute tram ride away fron the football stadium. Receptionist was very helpful and would consider staying here again

Euros stop over.

One night stay for the euro football tournament four adults suited perfect for our needs close to city centre rooms had small kitchen which we didn't use wifi not great if you depend on it really only used hotel to sleep in and up and away next day.

Spacious hotel, good internet. Recommend. Will stay again when going to Lyon next time.

Handy to rail, other services not too far

We stayed at the Temporim Lyon Part-Dieu as we had to catch a train the next morning and the hotel is nearby the Part-Dieu station. We were pleasantly surprised by the facilities and would stay there again if visiting Lyin, as it was good value. While there were few food places right nearby, they were about 10 minutes walk away and a big La Fayette Shopping Mall was a similar distance.

Roomy Studio apartment close to station

A pleasant apartment with kitchen facilities and roomy roomy living area. Also laundry facilities on site. It's a easy walk to main station which gives ease of access to all public transport, to easily get around Lyon. Supermarket and shops just 5 min walk away.

Great rooms near station

Needed a room close to the station. This place was perfect. Room was on quiet side. Had a small kitchen so you could cook if you wanted, nice comfortable bed. For the hotels near the station would definitely recommend this one.

It was perfect to arrive here late from the train station as there was somebody at reception.

fairly practical and functional. Minor mix-up with the breakfasts ordered, which in retrospect we would have been better off getting from a nearby cafe.

Great stay!!

I ended up staying here after the hostel I booked proved to be beyond unnaccceptable. Based on the other reviews I thought this would be a good choice, but having already been deceived once on this trip, I asked to see the room before I booked it. The front desk agent was very kind, helpful, and patient. She even showed me two different rooms so that I could choose which one I liked best. The beds sleep great and the kitchen proved to be quite useful. My only complaint is that there wasn't really a shower. There was a bathtub with a corded shower head, but there was nowhere high on the wall to hook it to take an actual shower. So you just had to either hold it or take a bath. Since I'm not from the area I'm not sure if this is common and I don't have anything to compare it to. But it did prove to be a bit of a nuisance for me. Overall a really great stay though.

Goog Standard Business Hotel in a Central Location

A good standard hotel room. No complaints but nothing special either. Fine for business and the location is very close to the Part Dieu train station (walking distance) so this helped.

The hotel in conveniently located near Lyon Part Dieu train station and commercial center. It is clean, properly maintained, and staffed with solid employees. The overall experience is somewhat modest, but completely acceptable for the price.

Nothing special, but very close to the train stati

This is a convenient location to get to the train station. It's about a 5 minute walk, which makes travel easy. The neighborhood doesn't have much, but it's easy to take the metro into town. It takes about 15 minutes to get downtown. The rooms aren't great (think Super 8 quality) and the staff had trouble finding the reservation, which was a little stressful.

Adequate option near Part-Dieu train station

This was an okay hotel convenient to the Part-Dieu train station. Safe, clean, adequate place to spend the night. The power went out for a while, requiring a 7-flight haul up the stairs, and the wi-fi was on-and-off. But the place is reasonably priced and you could do worse.

One night in Lyon. Business trip

one night, business. The hotel is called "residence", which would suggest low quality, but everything was perfect. Modern, clean, quiet. The internet connection was slower than expected.

Very helpful concierge staff

My luggage's lock got broken when I arrived. The two concierge staff on duty helped me to break it so i can at least have new clothes to change and do batching for that nite. Very resourceful! Hotel locates close to train & metro station in a residential area, so easy to get around but quiet at night for good sleep. only bad comment is that the kitchen utensil looks dirty so we didn't use it.

Très bon rapport qualité prix, la chambre est propre et relativement calme. Seul bémol, la climatisation/chauffage fait du bruit, même éteint. La literie est confortable et l'hôtel est calme. Pour le prix, c'est excellent !

Confortable mais décevant

Nuit réservée en dernière minute, personnel agreable, studio confortable mais décevant vu le tarif (mauvaise odeur persistante dans la sdb/toilettes), peinture écaillée dans la sdb, le mitigeur fuyait, en bref la sdb est à refaire, le logement etait neanmoins propre et la literie confortable et bien isolé. La decoration de la chambre demande a être revue.
